Tips for writing a college essay
1. Start early. The additional time you have, the less pressure you'll have. What's more, you'll have a lot of time to give the article your best exertion.
2. Be yourself. Pause for a minute to consider what intrigues you, what you love to discuss, what causes you to pay attention if it's referenced in class or on TV. At that point expound on it.
Perhaps the greatest mix-up understudies make is "composing what they think others need to hear, as opposed to about an issue, occasion, or individual that truly had criticalness for them," says Richard M. Fuller, senior member of confirmation and monetary guide at Hamilton College (NY). An exposition like that isn't simply exhausting to compose it's exhausting to peruse.
3. Be legitimate. You're running late (see #1), you can't consider what to compose and somebody messages you an endearing story. With simply a change to a great extent, it very well may be an extraordinary article, you think. It's what you would have composed on the off chance that you'd recently had sufficient opportunity.
Try not to be tricked! School affirmation officials have perused hundreds-even large number of expositions. They are aces at finding any type of counterfeiting. Adjusting an email story, purchasing an article from some Internet webpage, getting another person to compose your exposition affirmation individuals have seen it all. Try not to chance your school profession by taking the path of least resistance.
4. Take a danger. Then again, a few dangers can pay off. Try not to agree to the paper that every other person is composing. Envision an affirmation official up late, perusing the 50th paper of the day-yours. Do you need that individual to fall asleep on the grounds that the person in question has just perused ten papers on that subject?
"The peril lies not recorded as a hard copy terrible expositions but rather recorded as a hard copy regular papers the one that affirmation officials will peruse many," says Scott Anderson, partner head of school advising at Mercersburg Academy (PA). "My recommendation? Ask your companions what they are composing and afterward don't expound on that!"
5. Keep in core interest. This is your opportunity to explain to confirmation officials precisely why they ought to concede you. Shockingly, a few understudies attempt to list each and every explanation their heavenly scholarly record, their athletic ability, their locale administration all in a page or two. At the point when that occurs, the paper appears as though a staple rundown.
All things being equal, perused the paper question cautiously and write down a couple of thoughts. At that point pick the one that resembles the most amusing to expound on. Adhere to that principle topic all through the exposition. You don't need to list every one of your accomplishments that is the thing that the remainder of the application is for. Utilize the article to help the affirmation officials become more acquainted with you personally.
6. Write and revise. Try not to attempt to compose a show-stopper on your first attempt. It's impractical and all that weight is probably going to give you a mental obstacle. For your first draft, compose whatever rings a bell about your point. Try not to stress a lot over syntax or spelling. Simply get it down on paper (or PC screen). At that point let it "rest" for a couple of hours or a couple of days.
At the point when you return to the draft, search for approaches to make it more engaged and better composed. A few people are "fat" scholars: they compose long, tedious first drafts that should be abbreviated later. Others are "thin" scholars: they compose short and straightforward first drafts and afterward need to add subtleties or guides to "tissue out" the skeleton. In any case, don't be hesitant to roll out significant improvements at this stage. Are there subtleties that don't generally identify with the subject? Cut them. Do you need another model? Put it in.
Here are two different things to attempt, proposed by school advisor Marti Phillips-Patrick.
1. Remove the initial and closing sections, and afterward check whether your exposition appears to be more grounded. These passages are frequently the well on the way to have superfluous detail.
2. Go through the paper and cut out each "very" and each "many." Words like these are obscure, and your composing is frequently more grounded without them.
7. Get per second assessment. Indeed, even top of the line writers request that others read their original copies before they're shipped off the distributer. At the point when you've revamped the exposition agreeable to you, discover somebody who can offer you guidance on the most proficient method to make it surprisingly better. Pick an individual you regard and who knows something about composing a most loved English instructor, a parent, a companion who composes for the school paper. Request that they mention to you what they like best about your paper and what you can do to improve it.
Analysis of your composing can be difficult to hear, however attempt to tune in with a receptive outlook. You don't need to roll out each improvement proposed all things considered, it's your paper and nobody else's-except for you ought to truly think about every recommendation.
8. Proofread. At long last, you're prepared to send your exposition. One moment! Peruse it throughout once again, searching for those little mistakes that can sneak in as you compose or alter. In case you're utilizing a PC, additionally run a spell check.
Some of the time, it tends to be hard to get minor grammatical errors you've perused the paper so often that you see what should be there as opposed to what is there. To ensure you find everything, give perusing your paper a shot boisterous or having another person recited it for all to hear to you. Another procedure is to peruse the article in reverse, from the last sentence to the first. That makes it sufficiently new for blunders to stick out.
9. Don't mistake applying on the web for sending email. Applying on the web is similarly as genuine as applying "as it was done in the good 'ol days." It might feel like you're sending email, however you're definitely not.
"One thing I've frequently observed is that understudies who apply online submit shoddy articles," says Palmer Muntz, head of confirmation at Oregon Institute of Technology. He has discovered that papers submitted online will in general be a lot more limited than those submitted on paper. Furthermore, understudies frequently use email language-no capitalization, or truncations, for example, BTW or "thanx"- which are not fitting to a proper record. Put forth sure that you put as much attempt into an online exposition as you would on the off chance that you were sending it snail mail.
10. Don't expect a lot from an exposition. The application article is significant, yet it's not by any means the only thing that is thought of. "Could [the essay] have any kind of effect in getting the 'dainty versus thick' envelope? Totally," says Fuller. "However, that is the special case as opposed to the standard."
That is on the grounds that affirmation officials take a gander at the entire bundle your scholastics, extracurricular exercises, state sanctioned tests, and different variables. An incredible paper seldom compensates for a feeble scholastic record. Then again, an average exposition won't really entrust your application to the "deny" list. So create your article too composed as you can, however don't squeeze yourself that the remainder of the application blurs in significance.

Alex Manes week 2019:
Day 4: What if
What if the shed incident never happened, and Michael decided to join the Air Force as well?
‘Oh come on Guerin, you can’t seriously tell me you think you can fix this thing? Avery motioned at the smoking Humvee with wild gestures.
‘We just need to cool it down, then I can take a look at it.’ Michael tried to calm him down, he got so worked up, so easily. ‘It needs to be out of here by sundown right?’
‘Yeah, that’s when the bigshots need it.’ Avery made a face. They’d been told to fix this particular Humvee, so that a team of “specialized operatives” could take it on mission with them. That basically meant whatever they needed the Humvee for, it was above their paygrade. Special ops. Michael didn’t mind not being clued in on everything. He’d chosen not to show the army everything he could do. Obviously, he wasn’t going to tell them about the alien part, but he’d also made a few extra mistakes here and there on his IQ test.
They ended up finishing the Humvee just as the sun disappeared behind the sand dunes.
‘Guerin?’ A voice asked, and Michael tightened the final valve before pushing himself from under the Humvee.
‘Yeah. That’s me.’ He said and looked up, only to stutter to a halt. ‘Alex?’
He hadn’t seen Alex Manes in five years. Right after their graduation, his dad had whisked him off into some specialized training camp, never to be seen again. Michael hadn’t known what to do with his life, so he’d decided to join the Air Force, he’d get to see the world. Leave that stupid little town behind him. Of course he missed Isobel and Max, but they had never needed him like they needed each other.
He wouldn’t say he’d forgotten about Alex Manes, his soft, warm skin and kind, brown eyes had always stayed stuck in the back of Michael’s head, but he honestly hadn’t expected to ever see him again.
‘Yeah. It’s been a long time.’ Alex said. He looked different now. He’d always been fit, but now he looked strong, his face had lost all remnants of baby fat and he looked more confident now. Less bravado, more actual confidence in his own skin.
‘Five years.’ Michael said. He remembered that night, right before graduation all too well. He had shown up at the UFO Emporium, right as it was about to close, hoping to catch Alex on his way home. They hadn’t ever really talked per se, but Michael had seen the way Alex looked at him, and he’d felt the flutter in his own stomach whenever their eyes met, so he’d decided to just go for it. If everything went to hell, he could just grab his diploma and bail.
So he’d managed to intercept Alex before he could head home and they’d had an awkward, tension filled conversation that had ended when Michael gave up and kissed him. It hadn’t been his first kiss, but it had been his first kiss that felt like it meant something. Too bad they never got further then that one night. Because the next thing he knew, Alex was gone and all people could tell him was that he joined some specialized program of the Air Force.
‘Manes.’ Whatever moment they’d been having, just staring at each other, was interrupted by a severe looking man in his mid-thirties that approached them. ‘Is this the Humvee?’
‘Yes sir.’ Alex said, standing up straighter immediately.
‘Is it done?’ The man asked Michael. His uniform identified him as Sergeant Hollows.
‘Yes sir, just finished it.’ Michael answered, pushing himself to his feet. He should probably have saluted, but the whole subordinate thing was one thing Michael had never been particularly good at.
‘You’re sure it’s going to keep running?’ He asked Michael.
‘I can’t promise anything, but I’ve done the best I can with the time available. I would personally recommend taking another Humvee, but I’ve been told that’s not an option.’ Michael said, wiping his greasy hands on the rag in his back pocket.
‘This is the Humvee we need.’ Hollows said, looking at Alex, who gave him an affirmative nod.
‘Well, it should run fine, but if you head through rough terrain, there is a change it could break down. The fix I’ve been able to do is a temporary one.’ Michael said, he could have asked them to elaborate on why the hell they needed this specific Humvee, but he didn’t think they would answer him.
‘Maybe you should bring the mechanic.’ Hollows suggested and Alex’ impassive expression cracked for a second, showing disbelieve, he quickly got himself under control.
‘Sir? That does not seem like a good idea.’ Alex said, small frown between his eyebrows.
‘Just leave him at the Humvee.’
‘Alone? At night? In hostile territory?’ It was the most defiant Michael had heard him so far. And, well, Michael agreed, that did not sound like fun. He may be telekinetic, but that didn’t mean he was bulletproof.
‘You need this Humvee, you need to be able to make a quick exit, that means you have to take a mechanic. This one has just fixed it, so he knows exactly what’s wrong with it.’ This one also had a name.
‘Look, I don’t even really know what this whole mission is about. Maybe we could, you know, not drag me into something that sounds dangerous as hell, but that I’m not allowed to know anything about? I could just show Manes what the problem is, and then if it breaks down, he can fix it.’ Michael considered himself fairly brave, but this seemed like a situation with a ton of variables he wasn’t allowed to know about and he didn’t exactly like the idea of going into something very, very dangerous, blind.
‘No. You are going with them. Get yourself properly dressed, you have five minutes.’ Hollows commanded and then he just, walked away. Michael blinked after the man.
‘The fuck?’ Michael said, and Alex let out a completely inappropriate snort. He tried to school his face again, but he couldn’t quite keep the sparkle from his eyes. Michael liked him that way.
‘I know this sucks, but we’ll keep you safe.’ Alex assured him, even though he didn’t look thrilled by the whole thing either.
So Michael did as he was told. He dressed in a proper uniform, wore a bullet proof vest, attached his sidearm to his hip and joined what appeared to be Alex’ team.
‘So this is it huh?’ One of them said when Michael joined them. He was tall and thin and looked like he needed to eat more.
‘Yep, Delta, this is Michael Guerin, Guerin this is strike team Delta.’ Alex introduced.
‘So you get to know my name, but I don’t get to know yours?’ Michael asked, it earned him a delighted laugh from two of the guys.
‘Oh yes, another smartass.’ The guy to his left said. ‘Call me Green.’
‘As if we don’t have enough snarky assholes in this team already.’ The guy directly across from Michael said. ‘Hartley.’ That seemed to be his name, at least that’s what Michael assumed.
‘I’m Utah.’ One of the others said, and he sure as hell sounded like he was from Utah.
‘Taylor.’ The one standing at Alex’ shoulder introduced himself.
‘And you already know me, so, can we leave now. We’re already behind schedule.’ Alex said impatiently.
‘Yes Cap!’ Green saluted half-heartedly and Alex rolled his eyes. They got into the Humvee, Utah behind the wheel and Alex next to him up front.
‘So, how do you two know each other?’ Green asked, studying Michael intently.
‘We went to high school together.’ Alex answered from the front seat.
‘Ah, okay.’ Green nodded, he went quiet after that. Driving through the desert in the dark was not a pleasant experience. Especially not when Utah turned off the headlights. The Humvee held out and Michael thanked his lucky stars for that. Michael must have looked tense because Taylor leaned over.
‘Just make sure you keep your eyes open and keep breathing, Guerin.’ Michael just nodded. He felt out of his depth. The guys around him seemed perfectly calm as they stopped, what seemed to be, in the middle of nowhere. They exited the Humvee and closed the doors. The others all moved to the front of the Humvee, but Alex pressed Michael against the closed door.
‘Stay here. Don’t get in trouble.’ He was much closer then was probably acceptable, but Michael didn’t necessarily mind. Alex’ presence was calming. Michael nodded sharply.
‘Got it. Can you at least tell me which direction you’re going and how long I should wait before I panic?’ Michael asked, grabbing the front of Alex’ uniform before he could move off. Alex’ hand closed around his wrist.
‘Don’t panic. We’ll be back in forty five minutes tops. We’re heading west. That’s-‘
‘That way.’ Michael nodded west. Alex smiled.
‘Exactly.’ He took a breath. ‘See you soon Guerin. We should catch up when we get back.’ Alex brushed his thumb over Michael’s wrist, and he’d deny that he shivered for years. Alex smiled again before letting go of Michael’s wrist and disappearing into the darkness with his team.
Michael did as he was told. He didn’t move, he didn’t panic, he kept his eyes open and kept breathing. He kept his eyes fixed west, trying to spot any figures moving in the darkness and trying to hear anything approaching. He waited and waited and waited. He’d always been fairly good at controlling his powers, better then Isobel and Max at least, but right there, he could feel the urge moving right under his skin. His entire body was screaming at him that he shouldn’t have let Alex go. He shouldn’t have let go five years ago, and he shouldn’t have let go thirty minutes ago.
He felt like he was about to burst out of his skin when the deafening silence was shattered by an explosion. Michael jumped at least a few feet into the air. The giant ball of fire that lit up the night sky made Michael feel like his heart stopped. Maybe it did. He felt frozen in place, just staring at the area now lit up by the fire burning in the distance, exactly west. He was about to start running in the direction of the fire, completely ignoring his orders, when he saw a shadow move against the orange sky. He drew his sidearm out of reflex. He kept it aimed at the ground, but with the safety off.
‘Guerin?’ The voice that came from the darkness had him sigh in relief.
‘Yeah. What the fuck was that?’ He asked as first Delta came hustling into view. Green, Taylor, Utah, Hartley and finally Alex.
‘Just a little gift from yours truly.’ Green grinned widely. Alex looked at Michael and shrugged.
‘You couldn’t have warned me about the whole “oh we’re going to blow the place up at the end” thing.’ Michael said.
‘Sorry.’ Alex didn’t sound like he meant it. They piled back into the Humvee, and started their journey back. It started smoking when they were literal yards from the base. The entire Humvee let out a sort of delighted laugh when the Humvee stuttered to a halt exactly inside the gates.
They exited the vehicle and Michael was delighted to find out Alex could have a bunch of guys come over and move the Humvee to his workshop just by asking. They took one look at his uniform and the name on it, and they just… did what he asked.
‘I guess there is an advantage to being a Manes after all, huh?’ Michael said. Alex looked at him with an unreadable expression. Then he looked over his shoulder and grabbed Michael’s sleeve.
‘Come with me.’ Michael didn’t even hesitate, and that probably meant something. Alex moved them behind a supply building, Michael just kept moving, pushing Alex against the building and crowding into his space. It was basically a reversal of their position earlier.
‘Have you missed me?’ Michael asked, watching Alex’ eye flicker to his lips.
‘Yes. Have you missed me?’ Alex asked. Michael found himself smiling.
‘Yes.’
‘Are you going to kiss me, or are you just going to stare at me?’ Alex asked, titling his head back and giving Michael a challenging smirk.
‘Hm, I don’t know, I quite like the view.’ Michael grinned as Alex rolled his eyes.
‘I don’t have all night, Guerin.’
‘Impatient.’ Michael murmured, and he settled his hand at Alex’ waist. Alex finally seemed to have had enough of their games. He dug his hand into Michael’s curls, and pulled their mouths together. It had been way too long since he’d kissed Alex Manes. He’d missed the way Alex dug his fingers into Michael’s hair, the desperation he still hadn’t lost apparently. Clearly, they hadn’t lost that inexplicable connection. Michael pulled back, leaning his forehead against Alex’ taking in the sight of him.
He was stunning, and Michael promised himself, right there, right then, he would never look away again.

Recreating A Coffee Shop Cappuccino At Home
The cappuccino is one of the most popular and well-known drinks in the world. The winning combination of milk foam and espresso is a favourite of many, and it has inspired a number of other milk-based coffee beverages.
While the drink dates back to the 1800s, the traditional Italian cappuccino emerged in the 1930s. This was before the invention of the modern espresso machine – meaning that you don’t need one to create a classic cappuccino at home.
To explore how it was possible to prepare this delicious drink outside your local coffee shop, I spoke with three cappuccino experts. They are Tosca Cesaretti and Misha Bussemey, the co-owners of Texas-based Springtown Roasters, and Chiara Bergonzi, a three-time Italian latte art champion, an SCA trainer, and an international judge.
Read more: What is a Cappuccino?
Tumblr media
How Is A Cappuccino Made?
A cappuccino consists of three basic parts: measured proportions of milk, coffee, and milk foam. In the classic Italian recipe, the foamed milk does mix with the coffee, instead just sitting on top. While variations on the foam and the ratios exist, these three parts always remain the same.
Tosca and Misha say: “While the ratio is one part coffee to two parts milk, the milk is broken down to one part steamed milk and one part foam.” However, according to them, variations are acceptable, as long as the final result suits the drinker.
In her book, Latte Art, Chiara states: “The creamy effect of the [cappuccino’s] foam must create a round and comforting beverage, which caresses the palate, with a pleasant temperature between 60 and 65ºC.”
For Tosca and Misha, it is much more than the proportions and ratios that set the cappuccino apart from other milky coffees. They believe that drinking a good cappuccino is a truly sensory experience; it combines the visual effect of good-looking foam with the sweet aroma of foamed whole milk in contact with the coffee.
In Italy, a cappuccino is a morning beverage, prepared to be enjoyed quickly so it doesn’t lose its creamy and bubble free consistency. Traditionally, it is prepared with less steamed milk and more foam, which gives it a more intense flavour. The trademark of a traditional Italian cappuccino, according to Chiara, is “the white crown on top, surrounded by a ring of coffee”.
Choosing the right mug for your cappuccino is also important. Pick the wrong cup, and your cappuccino may lose heat too quickly. According to the Istituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano (INEI), a cappuccino mug should have a wide rim and a narrow base.
However, for a homemade cappuccino, Chiara believes that size is not a real issue. “Many people use cups that are either too big or small,” She says. “This is OK – it’s keeping the right proportion that is really important.”
Home Brewing Methods For Cappuccinos
In coffee shops, cappuccinos are prepared with specific, professional-grade equipment. However, you don’t necessarily need these tools to prepare a cappuccino at home.
If you don’t have a home barista or espresso machine, you may want to use a stove-top coffee maker, such as a moka or Neapolitan flip pot. These alternatives are more affordable, and can also be used to produce concentrated, espresso-like shots of coffee.

Tumblr media
For a homemade cappuccino, Tosca and Misha recommend a moka pot. “The coffee should be really strong because we’re adding the milk. The moka pot is excellent for that, as you get all the oils and the natural fats, all the good stuff that exists in the coffee.”
According to Tosca and Misha, a French press is also a suitable alternative. However, when brewing for a cappuccino with a French press,  the ratio for the coffee and the water should be adjusted. Tosca and Misha’s advice is to decrease the amount of water until you reach a concentration that you are happy with.
It’s worth noting that you may have to adjust other variables, such as the coffee variety, grind size, and extraction time, to find a recipe that works for you. It’s important that you’re prepared to experiment and refine your recipe over a number of different attempts.
If you do decide to invest in a machine, there is a wide range to choose from with a variety of different features. Chiara says that the right machine for a cappuccino will have good, stable pressure for the coffee, as well as a milk steaming vapour wand.
No matter which method you choose, what’s important for a cappuccino is that you produce a highly concentrated coffee. When using some brewing methods, like the pour over, this can be more difficult to achieve. “Filters take away the body of the coffee, which is precisely what we want for a cappuccino,” Tosca and Misha add.
Choosing Your Coffee
Before you even start making a quality cappuccino, you will have to carefully choose the right coffee. You should try to buy freshly roasted beans, and if possible, get recommendations on which to choose from a local roaster. Tosca and Misha recommend choosing a medium roast, and grinding your beans finely – as if you were making an espresso. This is the ideal size for the moka pot.
Tumblr media
Your grind size will ultimately vary depending on how you are brewing your coffee. Chiara says that trial and error is key. Even with lower quality grinders, you can experiment with different grind sizes and brewing methods until you find something that works for you.
She also says that pre-ground coffee can be suitable, as long as it’s of very good quality and reasonably fresh. Those who don’t own or use a grinder can often ask a roaster to grind coffee to a size of their choice. And while fine coffee is ideal for the moka pot, French press coffee should be more coarse. If you have any questions, it may be worth speaking to a roaster.
The Right Kind Of Milk
Creating perfect cappuccino foam is all about chemistry. There are a number of different factors that influence it – from the quality of the milk through to the heating temperature. While a thermometer will help, Tosca and Misha explain that choosing the right type of milk is an important first step.
“Essentially, good organic whole milk is the best. It has the most fats, and that’s what you really need to get the bubbles and the foam.” However, you need to make sure that you don’t overheat your milk, as this can kill the proteins and leave your foam too thin.
Tumblr media
For those who want to create a perfect, barista-quality cappuccino at home, the Specialty Coffee Association provides temperature guidelines. The SCA recommends that milk is heated somewhere between 50°C (122°F) and 70°C (158°F).
When it comes to non-dairy milk options, soy and almond milk also produce a good foam. Tosca and Misha don’t recommend coconut or cashew milk, however, as “they are very thin and watery”.
Getting That Magic Foam
The simplest way of frothing your milk is to use a saucepan and a whisk. Just heat up your milk on the stove and when it starts to bubble, turn off the stove and start whisking. If you have a thermometer, you should take the milk off the heat at around 70ºC, as the SCA recommends. Keep whisking until your milk starts to froth and thicken, and you will soon have your foam.
Tumblr media
Your other options are to heat up the milk on the stove and then use a blender until it gets frothy. Just be careful that the milk is not too hot, as too much pressure could cause your blender some damage.
Believe it or not, the French press can also be used to steam and foam your milk. This is the method that Chiara recommends. She says using very cold milk before heating it up in a pan helps produce a good foam. Once heated, you simply pour the milk into your French press, and then pull and push the plunger until you create your foam.
To separate the steamed milk from the foam, all you need to do is pour it very slowly into a separate container, and swirl gently to remove any air bubbles. Baristas often remove the air bubbles and separate the foam by banging the jug against the counter, but this can be messy if you’re not careful.
Another “semi-pro” option is to buy a milk frothing machine, of which there are a wide variety of options available. However, if you want something more compact and affordable, you can invest in a handheld foam wand. Tosca and Misha even describe it as “great to take on vacations”.
Other Variations
Following a strict recipe with set ratios means you have more freedom to experiment with your cappuccino in other ways. For example, you can add the traditional pinch of cocoa powder or ground cinnamon, which date back to the early 20th century. In some European countries today, cappuccinos are even made with cream and sugar, rather than steamed milk and foam.
Misha adds cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg, but says the exact recipe “depends on [her] mood in the morning. Tosca has an even more detailed recipe that she calls “The Mini Miel”: “I make the cappuccino with really strong coffee, and I’ll take one tablespoon of honey to sweeten it, and I add a dash of salt. That’s my little secret!”
Tumblr media
No matter how you choose to brew your coffee or froth your milk, it’s important that you create a cappuccino that you love. Your recipe will need to be adjusted and tweaked no matter which method you choose, and trying and making mistakes will help you to develop a perfect recipe in the long run.
Most importantly? Remember to enjoy the process. As Misha and Tosca say: “Try to have a lot of fun with it. Experiment with it all.”

No need to panic, although reducing weight can be a challenging task, there are plenty of free effective tips that shed the body fat fast that work and will produce the best weight reduction results that you have always wanted. So if you want the best way to shed off unwanted body fat fast and keep it off permanently, this article will show you which methods work.
1. Effective ways to Lose Weight Fast Tip # 1
If you read a lot of weight related books and guides, you will discover that one of the repeatedly diagnosed tips to maximum weight loss includes proper diet and nutrition. Usually this is easier said than done because doctors find themselves going back to the foods that made them fat and discard the meal plan altogether. One of the top tips to keep in mind is to change your eating habits gradually until you eliminate all unhealthy foods. I know how hard this can be that’s why I recommend that you do this gradually instead of all at once. In order to lose weight easily, you have to understand that food is a very important aspect of your journey to lose weight. Whatever types of food you eat can either increase your weight or help reduce it. The top effective ways to lose weight fast through proper diet and nutrition is to eat foods that accelerate weight reduction and also help to reduce weight fast such as raw fruits and vegetables, organic meat, fish, eggs and plenty other unprocessed foods ..
2. Effective ways to lose weight fast Tip # 2
The second tip to effective weight loss is to avoid all processed foods and carbonated drinks from your meal plan. I mention this quite a lot in my articles because although important, most dieters ignore it and wonder why they just can not lose weight fast. Your meal plan is a very important part of your weight loss goals and one of the top effective ways to lose weight fast is to concentrate on raw organic foods that do not contain any sweeteners or additives. The additives almost always contain sugar which is high in calories and bad for weight loss. Another tip includes avoiding carbonated drinks and sodas which also contain sweeteners high in sugar. These addicts or addictives as i like to call them make you crave for more and more.Instead, a tip on the effective ways to lose weight fast is to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated, this will not only flush out toxins from your body but water will help you to lose weight fast by curbing out cravings for sweets and biscuits as you feel fuller with each gulp. Water intake will also boost your metabolism and keep you energized from all your intensive workout routines.
3. Effective ways to lose weight fast Tip # 3
The third top effective way to eliminate body fat fast is to stay motivated and to persevere. When starting a weight loss program, most dieters think they can just apt and get started and start seeing results today. Weight loss does not work like that, most dieters fail with it because they lose motivation with their workout or maybe their cardio routines are too long and boring or maybe they hate half the food on their meal plan. Weight loss can be a challenge but it is not impossible. You need to stay motivated in order to achieve your weight loss goals. Find a workout partner, join a gym, be innovative with your meal plan, if you do not like cage use lettuce instead, have fun and do not beat yourself up too much. If you cheat, do not stop just get back up and keep focusing on your weight loss goals. One of the top effective ways to maximum weight reduction is to stay positive and surrounding yourself with people who want to achieve weight loss so that you can learn and share.
4. Effective ways to lose weight fast Tip # 4

Top Effective Ways to Lose Weight Fast – Here Are Free Weight Loss Tips
The internet is swamped with many tips on effective ways to shed off weight fast so that it can be difficult for dieters to decide which program is best for maximum results.
I know how hard this can be that's why I recommend that you do this gradually instead of all at once.
A plus for water intake is that it does not contain any calories therefore making it one of the top effective ways to lose weight fast.
Working out is one of the top effective ways to reduce weight fast but if you want maximum weight loss, you need to take it up a notch. There you have you top 4 effective ways to lose weight fast and keep it off permanently. I know how hard this can be but despite challenging, you can do it. Photoshoping Pictures Can Have Negative Effects
It is not a mystery when it comes to photos for magazines that they are retouched to make celebrities look better or what they call better, then showing them in a natural light. Tyra Banks was one to admit that on Americas Next Top model that they had retouched the pictures of the contestants and even had a part on her talk show that she had shown the pictures that were not retouched and the ones that were because someone had made an error and released the wrong ones. Just recently his has shown again in the media that there was something wrong Demi Moore who was featured on the front page of W Magazine apparently missing part of her left hip and then again Emma Watson known for her role in Harry Potter was featured in a Blueberry ad with her brother, only to have part of her leg missing all the way up to her thigh. The fact remains that these little accidents can have a negative effect on women.
When seeing ads of girls that have rail thin bodies, you get an unrealistic idea of what your body is supposed to look like. This is what causes so many people to have eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia in the world today, they see something and it causes them to think that their body is not good enough. For someone with an eating disorder it is hard enough for them to ever think that they are thin, instead, they look at the magazines and television as a way to judge how their bodies should look. This only reinforces their bad eating habits to the point where it becomes unhealthy and even can cause death. We already as a society make judgments on people based on their weight as if someone is 160 pounds is called fat, how can that be? Maybe it is due to the fact that people are photoshopped into magazines as if they have no curves and weigh 80 pounds, this is just unrealistic but some people base their thoughts on what they see. The companies that do these things should really put out of business, but with so many people self-conscious about how they look this may never happen. People need to learn how to stand up for themselves and say this is the person that I am and I am going to be proud of it and not second guess their thoughts. No one has the perfect bodies and we all have our flaws, even celebrities.
Examples Of PhotoShoping:
Emma Watson Blueberry Ad
Demi Moore W Magazine Cover
hemmy.net
Kim Kardashian Edit Mistake
funnyphotos.net
Remember that nothing is real in the world of celebrities and that this is not the way a real person looks. Women have curves that they are not the bean poles that you see on the Magazine covers. No one should ever take into account that this is how anyone should really look. Until the Magazine Companies figure out that this type of thing can have a mind altering the effect of people there will be a steady incline of eating disorders in the world.

Leveling Up: How To Be More Attractive In 5 Easy Steps
One of the ongoing debates that crops up when it comes to dating advice for men is: “How important are men’s looks?” Just check the comments section of this blog; whenever I talk about what women find attractive in men, people will inevitably show up and insist that all of this is bullshit and that women are interested in tall dudes with rippling washboard abs, blindingly white teeth, pecs you could bounce rocks off of, an Audi R8 and a 7 figure bank account.
Which is why Dwayne Johnson has been People’s Sexiest Man Alive for seven years running…
Others will insist that looks don’t matter at all and that it’s strictly a matter of one’s character.
So here’s the cold hard truth: good looks matter. But they also don’t.
Confused? It’s understandable. The issue comes down to the differences between how men and women define “attractiveness”. Men tend to have a more uniform definition of what they consider attractive while women’s definitions tend to have more variability. Men tend to assume that women view men with the same metrics that men view women – that is, that women will put greater importance on facial symmetry, height, body fat percentages, penis size and muscle tone.
In reality, being attractive to women is a combination of a host of factors, coming together to build a holistic version of desirability that’s based on more than just whether or not one has Scandinavian cheekbones and piercing blue eyes.
Good looks in men certainly help when it comes to attraction; nobody is denying that. But there’s a difference between being good looking and being attractive. And there are many ways for a man to make himself more attractive.
The Difference Between Good Looks and Attractiveness
There’s no question that good looks help in life. Humans are psychologically predisposed to be more positively inclined toward people who are physically attractive; a cognitive bias known as the “halo effect” influences people’s judgements and impressions about a person based purely on their physical appearance. A person who is blessed with good looks will frequently have a leg up in the world.
However: The definition of what women consider to be “good looking” varies wildly. Men tend to think that all women go for Chris Hemsworth’s god-like build and leonine mane of hair, when women may be far more likely to scream for Joseph Gordon Levitt’s more wiry frame, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s gap-tooth smile or Matt Smith’s unique fivehead.
I mean, some women dig the Easter Island Moai look, y’know?
A person can be good looking… but still be unattractive and have little success with women. A man can be far less than model-gorgeous and still be incredibly attractive to women; in fact, one of the most popular, sex-gettingist men I have known is short and fat, yet attracts women like cheese attracts mice.
The men who are most invested in the idea that women only like guys who look like X often need to believe that attraction is immutable; it takes the pressure off of them to be responsible for their own successes – or lack thereof. It allows them to put the blame on others – on women who have “unfair” standards, on the media for promoting certain looks, on their own genes. After all, short of painful surgeries, there’s not much a man can do about the shape of his face or his height.
Attractiveness, however, is about more than facial symmetry and height. It’s about how a man presents himself – the way he talks,  the way he dresses and his attitude… and it’s surprisingly easy to sabotage one’s own attractiveness by accident.
Step One: Embrace Proper Grooming
This is a no-excuses step. There’s more to grooming and self-care than the usual male ritual of “a couple of spritz under the pits and out the door you go”… if you even get that far.
You wouldn’t think that much of this would be necessary… until you’ve spent some time at a convention; there’s a reason why nerds are associated with stench. If a woman gags when gets within two feet of you… well, you’re not going to get anywhere with her, let’s just put it that way.
Absolute minimum of grooming means brushing your teeth, flossing, mouth wash and a decent deodorant. The 99 cent drugstore special is not going to help you here and most of them are going to leave white residue on your clothes. You’re better off to shell out for something at the level of Anthony’s Logistics for Men than Speed-Stick.
Also: no Axe anything. Ever.
However, most men stop here when it comes to personal grooming. This is a mistake; part of grooming means taking care of your face and skin. After all, 99% of communication means being face to face with people – why wouldn’t you want to keep up the maintenance of the one area that everybody is going to be looking at?
It’s time to embrace proper skin-care. Many men will avoid this for fear of being too “metro” (read: gay) and as a result… they look terrible. Their skin looks old and dull and detracts from their natural looks. Proper skin care will make you look younger, more alert and – importantly – more attractive. Start with going beyond washing your face with bar soap, which will actually dry your skin and make things worse. You want a facial cleanser – preferably one with 2% salicylic acid – in the morning to help wash away dirt, debris and oils that lead to clogged pores and zits.
OH GOD HYGIENE BURNS IT BURNS US PRECIOUSSSSS!
Follow this up with a moisturizer with sun-screen. Sun exposure ages your skin and leaves you at risk for skin cancer; this is why you need the sunscreen. Meanwhile, the moisturizer keeps your skin firm and smooth, minimizes fine lines, and preserves skin’s elasticity.
At least once a week, use an exfoliating scrub. Think of it as sanding away the top layer of paint on an old house; you’re getting rid of the old, damaged, and dead skin and letting your real face shine through.
Also: learn to corral your unwanted hair. Get a decent pair of tweezers and attack your eyebrows and any ear and nose hair. Keeping bushy eyebrows under control (especially if you tend towards a unibrow) will work wonders for improving your look and confidence, and you don’t want anyone getting in close to notice stray nose or ear hairs.
(This, I might add, gets much more important the older you get; when you start losing hair on your head, you start gaining it everywhere else.)
While I’m at it: take care of your damn hands. You don’t have to go out and get a mani/pedi (but I do recommend it) but you want to keep your nails neatly trimmed (not bitten) and filed with care to avoid points or raggedy edges. Women definitely notice your hands… and there are many (ahem) performance reasons why you will want to keep your nails short and clean.
Step Two: Get a Haircut.
Cold hard truth: women hate your hair. Sorry.
Most men have absolutely no idea what to do with their hair. They go to the barber or Supercuts, get the exact same haircut over and over again, and never stop to think just how much a decent hair cut can change how they look. There’s more to a haircut than just trimming off a couple of inches here and there; a proper hair cut can completely transform your face, bring balance to your features and help frame your personality.
Also: No ponytails. Very few men can pull off long hair and unless you are ripcord, rockstar thin, that includes you.
Some of us learned this the hard way.
This means you need to get a decent hair cut.
Find a good stylist. Do not go to SuperCuts or that place in the mall; you want a proper salon or barbershop and that means being willing to pay. Sorry, but this is definitely one of the areas where you get what you pay for. It can be hard to find a new barber or stylist (I hate it, personally) because it can be hard to find a good one, but it’s vitally important. Word of mouth is the best way to find one, but Yelp and Google Reviews can help lead you in the right direction.
Bring a photo. Yup, it’s a chick move, but it helps you communicate exactly what you want to your barber instead of trying to convince him or her to read your mind. Just be willing to be flexible; a good barber will be taking your head and face shape, hair thickness and texture into account and not everybody is going to be able to pull off the same style. If you have curly hair, you’re going to have to learn how to work with it. If you have thinning hair, you need to learn to embrace it and just start cutting things short.
Use some product. Different hair products are suited to different hair styles – wax works better for thicker, coarser hair while clay or pomade works better for thinner or silkier hair. A little bit of hair product can turn a sloppy look into something nice.
While you’re at it: start attacking your facial hair. Some people can pull off facial hair. Some can’t. If you have patches of bare skin in your beard, you need to just accept that you may not be one of them; a patchy, scraggly beard makes you look more like Chester The Molester than the God of Testosterone you think you are.
That being said, a nicely trimmed1 beard can help strengthen and add definition to an otherwise weak jawline. Keep it short and neat and for fuck’s sake don’t let it grow into neckbeard territory. Shave your neck; your beard should stop just under your jaw line – not so close that you look overly groomed but not so far that you look like you spend all your time in your mother’s basement running 25 man raids in World of Warcraft.
Step Three: Your Clothes Need To Fit
There is nothing that drives me crazier than people who wear clothes that don’t fit properly.
Most men out there do not wear clothes that actually fit them. Many times, it’s that they are so simply out of touch with how clothes are meant to fit; they dress for comfort, under the assumption that clothes are supposed to be roomy. Others are insecure about their bodies and wear larger clothes in an attempt to disguise it.
This never works. In fact, wearing clothes that are too large will serve to draw attention to the fact that you’re trying to camouflage a perceived flaw.
(The less said about “relaxed fit” anything the better.)
At best, wearing clothes that don’t fit looks sloppy and immature, making even the most expensive, stylish clothes look like something you picked up from the Lost and Found. At worst, you look like a kid trying to play dress-up in his daddy’s clothes.
PLEASE stop doing this.
Here’s what you need to know:
A shirt’s shoulder seam should sit at your shoulder joint. If it goes any further, it’s too big. Cuffs on a dress shirt should not reach past your wrist.
A dress shirt’s collar should be loose enough so that you can slip two fingers into the neck without effort.
Blazers, jackets, and sports coats should also have shoulder seams that sit at the shoulder joint. The sleeves should stop around 3/4 of an inch from the back of your hand, allowing just a little cuff to show.
Pants are meant to sit at your natural waist, approximately three finger-widths below your navel. If your pants sag below your waist without a belt holding them up, they’re too big.
Jeans should feel snug; they’ll loosen up as you wear them, so you want a pair that fits slightly tighter in the waist, thighs and seat than you’re used to.
The bottom of your pants leg should sit just at your shoes. Some dress pants will have what is known as a “break”, where the pants crease into a natural fold from resting on the top of the shoes. A “medium” break is traditional – a shallow crease with the back of the pants coming down to midway between the top of the back of the shoe and the sole. A full break is more daring as it creates a very deep crease and brings the back of the pants leg to just above the sole of the shoe. No break is considered to be more retro – think Mad Men – and is often a feature of tailored Italian suits. Jeans should have a very slight break. No pants should have more than one crease; if they do, they are too large.
If you’re the sort of person who has a hard time finding clothes that fit, then a tailor is absolutely your best friend. A skilled tailor can make clothes look absolutely amazing on you. This is why so many celebrities look like a million bucks even when they’ve thrown whatever shit they have to go to the grocery store: they have everything tailored, including t-shirts and jeans. Find clothes that fit over your widest, hardest-to-size feature2 and have the rest adjusted to fit. It costs less than you’d think; just factor the price of tailoring into the cost of the clothing.
The simple act of switching to clothes that fit you properly will completely transform your look and sillouette with minimal effort from you.
Step 4: Straighten Up
This is another simple tip that so many men seem to miss: sit up straight young man!
We’ve become a desk-bound, sedentary society and we’ve been paying the price for it ever since; we hunch over our desks and computers like monks illuminating manuscripts in drafty monasteries and it is absolutely ruining our backs. Good posture can make a night-and-day difference in your appearance. Straightening out your posture will leave you looking taller, stronger and more confident… and you’ll feel infinitely better too.
No jokes here. You’d be amazed at how many back problems result from poor posture.
Look in the mirror, then turn to your side. Look at where your head and chin fall in relation to your chest and shoulders; you want a straight line from the crown of your head to your spine. Your ears, shoulders, arms, knees, and feet should all form a straight line, not hunching forward with a curved back and spine. It helps to imagine a string attached to the top of your head, directly above where your spine meets your skull, pulling you slightly upward. Use that imaginary string to lift yourself up, letting your arms dangle loosely from your side and leaving your knees slightly bent; you want a relaxed, at ease look, not military precision.
While you’re straightening up your back, look at how you’re holding your shoulders. You want to pull your shoulders back so that you have a straight line from the junction of your neck and shoulder to your deltoid; this is where you want to position your shoulders when you’re standing naturally. Years of slouching and computer use will have trained your shoulders to slope forward, so it will take a lot of concentration and practice to make this natural.
Your feet should be shoulder-width apart, with your weight evenly distributed and your toes pointing straight forward or at a slight outward angle.
Learning to adopt proper posture will help lengthen your spine, which will help you stand a little taller. A straight spine and your shoulders held back will also help you project confidence; when you hunch in on yourself, you’re tacitly telling the world that you’re afraid to take up space and you’re curling into a defensive position. Confident people stand up straight and aren’t afraid to take up space; having your arms dangle at your side will make you seem more at ease and add a swagger to your walk.
Incidentally, this is one more area where yoga is absolutely invaluable. Practicing yoga twice a week will make adopting good posture a habit and help build up the muscles you need to maintain it.
Step Five: Clean Up Your Diet
The food we eat is killing us.
We as Westerners eat too much fat, too much high-fructose corn syrup, far too much salt, and entirely too much caffeine… and we’re paying the price for it. The health cost is obvious – plenty of ink has been spilled about the obesity epidemic in this country – but it also is making you less attractive.
Don’t get me wrong: this isn’t about weight; this is about the way food affects the way you look and feel. You are literally what you eat and shitty food is going to make you look like shit – it screws up your skin, your hair and body… not to mention the effects of all that salt and processed food on your internal organs and circulatory system.
I’m not going to advocate any particular diet because, frankly, diets are like putting a bandage over an arterial hemorrhage. They’re a stop-gap solution at best and never last in the long term. Proper health comes from proper nutrition and that means a total lifestyle change, not just “going paleo” to fit into a new pair of jeans.
Now I’ll be the first to tell you: this is an area I struggle with. My addiction to Diet Dr Pepper is legendary and I will eat damn near anything if you deep fat fry it. But even minor changes can produce major results. Start simple and small and build up; trying to go cold-turkey is only going to ruin your efforts and sabotage any progress you make.
Here’s what you want to do:
Drink more water. Just upping your water intake will do amazing things for your skin. Cut out sodas entirely if at all possible, as well as most fruit juices; these are liquid calories, period. If you have to have fruit juice try to stick to freshly squeezed and organic; your morning Tropicana has more chemicals and added sugar than you realize. Diet sodas, by the way, aren’t any better. Aspertame is known to actually make you consume more calories; your body is convinced that it should be getting more calories and tries to make up the difference by tricking you into eating more elsewhere. Coffee and tea are… ok; odds are that you need to cut back on the caffeine as well so try to keep them to a minimum and as little milk and sugar as you can get away with.
Eat more fruits and vegetables. You almost certainly aren’t eating enough; however much you’re eating, you need to increase it. This is where most of your nutrition is going to come from, not to mention fiber that’s going to solve many of your (ahem) gastric problems. Wherever possible eat it fresh and organic – health claims aside (many of which are scientifically dubious at best) organic produce just tastes better. It’s night-and-day different.
If you’re like me, you just recoiled like a vampire from a cross.
Cut the hidden calories: fatty sauces, salad dressings and spreads. All of these are sources of bad fats that you often overlook when you’re considering trying to eat better. It doesn’t help to eat more broccoli if you’re going to drown it in ranch dressing first.
Stick to lean protein: chicken, lean cuts of beef, turkey, fish.
Avoid simple carbs – potatoes, white bread, sugar, white rice. Yes, you need carbs for energy, but these turn to glucose and from there to fat with absolutely no nutritional value to justify eating them. Complex carbs – sprouted grain breads, brown rice, sweet potatoes, green leafy veggies, legumes, apples, pears, mangos – have nutrients and fiber that offset the bump to your glucose levels and they’re far better for you.
Cut out processed foods entirely. If your dinner involves ingredients you can’t pronounce, never mind find on its own at the grocery store, you’re eating crap that should never be put in your body. This includes high-fructose corn syrup: that shit is in everything.
A healthier diet will make you  feel like a new man – you’ll have more energy, you’ll feel more positive, and your immune system will be boosted… and you’ll look better too.
The tricky secret of attraction is that it doesn’t take very much to make it happen. A couple of minor changes have a major impact that can turn your dating life around.
