In Japanese, 2B from Nier Automata shares a voice actress with Mina Majikina from Samurai Shodown (2019).

So, to summarize the plot of Dual Rulers thus far: Ky and Dizzy are going to have a wedding to officiate their marriage, and the new character (Unika) is intent on wiping all Gears from existence (essentially take up Sol's former role as the destroyer of Gears).

Wouldn't be the first time that someone was Anti-Gear... and even Baiken and Leo Whitefang have been Anti-Gear (in their political leanings) for many years now up until recently.

This Unika individual, however, seems to have a deep personal Grudge, which makes sense given past events, but what's more mysterious is the fact she's equipped to fight Gears as a One-Person Army (and even fight Sin Kiske despite his strength as a Half-Gear).

Even if many people still can't forgive the Gears for what happened during the Crusades, most modern society isn't in current conflict with them... Most dangerous Gears were either dismantled, sealed, or simply stopped functioning as of 2187 (with exception to the Sentient ones of course). The Sentient Gears are mostly congregated in Illyria as of right now, and they are treated as Citizens of the country (even if that policy is unique to Illyria).

Waging an "active war" with Gear-Kind is something only extremists and terrorists would normally do at this phase of History... so someone is probably "guiding" or "supplying" Unika from behind the scenes (feeding her grudge as it were).

I dare say this "someone" is manipulating Unika, but I am speculating.

Anyways, Yui Ishikawa voices Unika (she also voices 2B in NieR Automata, Soul Calibur, and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, and she voiced Mina Majikina in Samurai Shodown)
