hey congratulations! that is an AMAZING accomplishment!

thanks, not going to lie I was shaking as I hit post for the last time on this universe. I still can’t fathom I wrote 409K words, the whole of LOTR is 481K like damn I wrote novels there. And that doesn’t even include the blog I ran for over two years that posted in character 1-30 times a day.

It was one hell of a ride. Made worth it by all the readers, something like this never happens without the readers encouraging it.

18) Oh, wow. I don’t know. I’d say some fanfic authors did, (I’m thinking of @scyllaya and @cuddlebabies aka Komodobits on AO3) but now it’s more like, when I get stuck with my style, when i feel like i’m getting repetitive and my words don’t make sense, I read their works again and it opens a window into another style, an alternative that helps me move on, you know?4) Original characters I would have to say Jordan and Gregory from my the Ride that Wind ‘verse. I love them a lot and it doesn’t even feel like I created them. It feels like they came to me and I wrote what they told me. I suppose that’s how you make your characters lovable. You let them create their own stories! Thanks again :DAsk me stuff!

I think it's quite american - not the misgendering, that can happen anywhere, but here in shops I hardly ever get called miss or anything. I think maybe guys get it more, with sir, but I really don't hear it. I am sorry that it is happening though. it's hard enough being in your own skin

It was 1000% worse any time I was in the US but it still happens enough in Canada.

When I used to work for HBC (Hudson’s Bay Company) they insisted that if someone paid with a credit card since we had to verify their signatures anyway that we should thank them at shopping at the store by name. I fucking hated this. For one I didn’t want to insult some sweet little Ukrainian lady by slaughtering her name so I’d just be like “thank you for shopping with us Mary, have a nice day” And 9/10 little Mary was THRILLED that I didn’t call her Mrs Natyshak because that was her husband’s name and he died 4 years ago and it makes her sad when people do that. So long story short I had a lot of little old ladies that LOVED me because I’d call them by their first names.
