I adore this bit bc we get Azz vision of Iruma and is really a sweet moment to remind us how he sees him.

There are things audiovisuals can't do as a static panel in but I appreciate how this one translated at the end of the day.

Why Thoth asked Iruma to tell a story!

Update on Thoth. It seems that Thoth is a genie after all. As Nishi sensei posted on Twitter

He's the kindest genie so malicious ones do exist. It all makes sense. If the Ifrit Clan Exists in the Netherworld then so can the genies. They're all related. Genies are the least dangerous. In the Arabian Nights it's spelt as jinni for male and jinniah for female genie. Similarly Ifrit for male and Ifritah for female. Ibilis is the devil itself. In mairuma, demons from all cultures and beliefs are ruled by one devil. I love that unity in diversity!

As I read the Arabian Nights, I noticed one thing. People encounter malicious genies and Ifrits, they threaten humans who are their food. They love listening to wonderful stories and if the human says a story that pleases the genie, they let the human live!

I don't know what Nishi sensei will say but this is something I thought of since the beginning

Hey! my irl friend has been trying to get me to watch anime for years and only now have they managed to convince me to start watching one with them and I'm a few episodes into that, but seeing your posts everyday has got me to give Iruma a go and

I'm an Iruma fan now I've been binging the show the past few days and just finished the arc in season 2 about them all going to the amusement park and I just love it all so much

I don't really have a favourite character yet because I love so many of them it's hard to decide

so ya thanks for indirectly getting me to watch this it's great I told my friend too that I was watching it and they got really excited!

this is far from the first time someone has told me they got into something because of me (be it directly or indirectly) and especially w/ mairuma this seems to be a reocurring thing and ik I've gotten at least a couple people interested in this series but being told that upfront feels sooo surreal. in my mind my mutuals just mute the mairuma tag so they don't have to see my anime posting and that's it. knowing that I actually got someone to give it a try is just

A lot of people don't like this about Lied, but I do. He's a sense stealer. I think maybe he's more sensual than anyone else due to this ability and I don't think it's disgusting. He's growing up and he'll be a no.1 player one day so watch out boys and girls.
