Angel Dust Turns Human - Pg1

I need to mention how insane it is that Angel Dust is like, around 8ft tall. I'm not good at drawing tall people, so his human form made him shorter since, if he was alive, he'd be at least around 6ft; that's as tall as he's gonna get!

Anyways, I like Angel Dust centered media bc he's my fav🫶👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 It upset me, when I finally watched the damn show, how little screen time he had (no, those 2 episodes were not enough for me). Personally, I don't think his character was that explored, so I'm just stretching him out a bit in this - even if it goes against Canon, sorry☹️

In fact, this whole comic goes against Canon😔. Since the whole point is Parental Alastor & Angel as a son figure. I don't see enough of that (obviously since it doesn't fit much but idc) so I made my own.

It's also possessive Alastor, since I really love 'yandere' parental/platonical relationships, there's not much media with that trope💔

Gyakkyō Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor is an anime whose art style might be a little off putting at first glance but it is by far one of the single most stressful anime I have ever seen in my entire life and I mean that in the most positive way possible. It's stressful, but also weirdly inspiring at the same time? Kaiji starts the series as a total loser (the anime's words, not mine) and he has to engage in high stakes gambling to pay off a huge debt that's been forced upon him by the yakuza. He's idealistic and trusting in a way that seriously fucks him (and in the second arc of the first season, others) over many times, but his quick thinking and observational skills and his feral trapped rat behavior save him by the skin of his teeth. He has so, so many opportunities to forsake others to save his own skin and its inspiring and fascinating to see him choose the immensely more difficult but honorable option every time.

I genuinely think I could marathon this entire anime in an entire sitting if I didn't have to wake up early for work, I cannot reccomend this anime enough

Question, if you don't mind! What kinds of brushes do you use for shading and lighting? Might as well ask around :0

oh of course! it really depends on whether I want a more hard shading style or something a bit softer (also I'm a clip studio paint user so I'll be referencing those brushes ;w;) if I want a more crisp, hard shading style, then I'll usually just use the default G-pen:

(so like for things like this I think I probably used the G-pen to shade):

for softer shading I'll just use the default Round mixing brush (since it kinda has opacity control depending on how much pressure you use with your pen/stylus):

so like this lil guy was shaded/colored with the Round mixing brush (like some of the edges on parts of the shading fade out a bit, that's kinda what I mean even though it may not be obvious):

Map showcase would be similar to a nofail but i would probably choose something cool and hard and cut around when I mess up for brevity and entertainment value (unless you WANT to see me fail to hit a 3200h/u water triple for 5 minutes straight). A nofail would be one long take where I dont mess up, but it wouldn't be on anything harder than t4- or extremely long cause i want a challenge but i also dont want to DIE

I wish Road 96 had a game mode where you can just replay specific scenes without having to replay the whole game. Maybe like, if you achieve all endings, or the best ending, you'd unlock that scene mode. Or like, a mode where you go through one specific character's story, having all of their scenes in a row. I think a really underrated trans headcanon is like. Really closeted. Not stealth. Really closeted and either doesn't know yet (egg) or does know but is afraid to transition for xyz reasons. Because 90% of all trans headcanons I seem to see are slapping some scars or a binder on a guy which is fine and good!!! Love scars in art think we should absolutely romanticize the marks left by becoming happier in your own skin right but also like. Idk some headcanons I'm like I don't think he's ready to reach for that happiness. I think he's scared of choosing things to improve his own life.

he may have joined the party all of one day ago, but the way he just carried us is VERY on brand for such a warrior of legend.

the fight in the Guild Hall took two rounds total. We took no damage whatsoever. And the only person we lost was the bodyguard that was standing in front of the Zhentarim fighter, nothing really that we could have done for her.

yeah, i feel like it's fair to say that this build is... viable lol.

(it's 5 levels of gloomstalker ranger, 3 levels of thief rogue, and 4 levels of battlemaster fighter, dual-wielding hand crossbows. it's.... kind of really OP. I felt actually bad for bullying the Zhents like this.)
