So today it’s raining but I put in a few more rocks, leveled up ( I think) the horizon line and finished up the dawn scene I did yesterday. I realized that plein air painting is a little (just a tad) dependent on the weather and that most of you don’t literally get up at the crack of dawn. So the next one I’m going to do will be a dusk scene. A little more viewer friendly. I will try and make the timing work for you although I can’t do anything about wind wave or weather (www). Doing seascapes live is always going to be tricky and I will be exploring the location over the weekend. I’m going to set it up so that you join me in the middle again since preliminary work is just that and IG is only 1 hour long. And I’m going to just turn it on and let it rip and see how it goes again. Sunsets about 7 pm Eastern by next Wednesday or Thursday. So I’ll probably be set up 1-2 hours earlier and turn it on about 6:15 ish. Like I said Plein air painting you can’t be too regular about because it just doesn’t work well on a schedule. So you just have to keep your eyes peeled I’ll try to remind everybody earlier in the day as to my estimated time and plans. At any rate the Dawn Scene is “Muscongus at Dawn”, 12x32 oil on linen.
