ik that bathesda is the deadest horse around but at this point but i feel like the absurdity of the fo4 update situation needs to be expressed. like someone at bathesda was like "hm a lot of people are buying and revisiting the games bc of the show. you know what we can do to make them like the game more? release an update that brings back the enclave in the worst written, most contrived way possible where they act so ooc that you may as well have made up a new faction all together! also make sure that it makes the game significantly buggier and breaks almost every mod. you know, since the modding community isnt one of the biggest reasons people play bathesda games. Hell, it's not like mods have been doing a better job at everything this update set out to do for years now without entirely breaking every fo4 mod made ever.

Woah dang, waking up to 99+ notifs on tumblr almost always means that an old Homestuck piece is going around again... imagine my delighted surprise to see it was all notifs about Soli! That was a great thing to wake up to. Felt an actual flutter in my chest. Thank you so much, everyone! And apologies for how Elias' hair keeps subtly changing. You always kind of figure out exactly how a character looks and how to draw them as you go along with sequential art. It, funny enough, largely comes from figuring out their acting (so lots and lots of different angles and features that need to shift/change slightly to carry the weight of looking like they should feel, for lack of a better way to describe it ) At any rate, glad to see people are excited for chapter 3! next update will be next week, and will be a two page spread.

You probably get this all the time but just wanted to say I really appreciate the time and hard work you guys put into this mod. coding and implementing these things can't be easy and I'm sure it's very time consuming and tons of frustration in some instances. I heard there's an upcoming update? May you guys overcome any challenges that it brings. We will eventually reach our destination, All Aboard!

April 25th, 2023... It's getting close. And it won't be ready for release anytime soon! Especially since I'll have to go back and update the mod to be compatible with the 1.6 update (I did try updating their dispositions to the new format but well... It didn't load properly after that and I decided to put it off until later. Later is coming verrrry soon!).

But yes! The journey may be long, but we will eventually reach our destination! All aboard!!!!

I hate this fucking game btw because the actual lore is completely incoherent most of the time since it's an mmorpg and every time they rework a class they end up rewriting the entire storyline associated with it usually for the worse and it ends up retconning a bunch of established shit or introducing a lot of plot holes so the version of the lore that exists in my head is 1000x better than the actual game itself but nobody will ever understand that but me. but just know that i'm right about it all and i understand it on a deeper level than anyone else

WIP Posted: How Do You Measure a Year in the Life?

Chapter 1: rise up singin'. July-October. The year of 2040-2041.

A year ago from this posting, I put up the first chapter of Kiss My Lipstick on. There was no way I could've imagined it becoming this sprawling universe that I would rejoice in, that would literally change my brain chemistry. It only happened because of you, dear reader. You have given me such joy and kindness over this year and fed my creative furnace.

This story is not the end of Leda Verse. I have prompts left to fill, aus of the aus (to begin and finish) and maybe even some mainverse stories left to write. It is though, the end of the timeline for mainverse. I made a promise that no one in Leda Verse would ever die and I stick firm to that. There is a major medical episode or two in this story, but everyone is alive from start to finish. Where it ends though, is the end of the line. The story after June 2041 is a gentle mist, a sea spray, spreading over the camera lens and obscuring our vision.

Dear reader, if you'll have it, I give you a gentle kiss on the forehead for making it all this way with me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

i was thinking about it? like i already have a draft for it and everything but it needs shaping and stuff.. its really a lot of yearning until somebody says something about it (or nancy pries) and it clicks in nancys brain and shes like "oh.. wait? omg? teehee🤭"

robins really just admiring nancy from afar, taking in every little detail about her and its stuck in her mind all day and she decides to do something about it. she writes it down, her feelings, her thoughts, everything about nancy and she turns it into a form of poetry and its just really silly!

okay so. obviously i miss the store management aspect of the style savvy series, but this game is not style savvy and i wasn’t expecting it to be!! that aside i am having so much fun the gameplay loop is still just as addictive (creating outfits for other people based off of their requests) and the only thing that really is different from style savvy is the lack of management + a storyline. the game looks so good too like everything is sooooo cute and pretty and i am so beyond happy

Back From Hiatus

I'll keep it to the meat and potatoes (AKA brief, honest, maybe a bit blunt) this time.

TLDR: I'm back. Business as usual, soon.

Thoughts and things during hiatus

Been doing a lot behind the scenes in the time this blog was dormant. It should be quite a while before my queue runs out, I hope.

Spent a lot of time engaging in my other hobbies as planned, while also tearing through (and restarting) Jedi: Survivor after buying it for myself for Christmas.

Not (entirely) certain I'm going to consider myself part of a Clone-centric "community" I had been following and interacting with for the time being.

A lot would have to change before I really do again, first.

I don't know that I can say (many) other people consider me a part of the primary niche my blog plays into anymore (or treated me that way to begin with).

(At least, not at the time of writing.)

After all... I would really, really hope a loving member of the larger Clone-focused SW community wouldn't have been the one to send me a message calling me a "selfish, entitled bitch" in an anonymous ask (among other things said) while I left this blog largely dormant...

Preemptively: I know there's no algorithm. I know the search function is jank. I know the dashboard doesn't show everyone you follow, all the time. (But I don't think that's a fair excuse to depend on all the time.)

I think I will say in the interest of fairness, and a more, level head: I think/feel roughly half of my point about favoritism, and a few select things, in my pre-hiatus post(s) still stands. I do wish I revised it a 16th or 17th time to say things pretty differently... As they say: hindsight is 20/20.

Those reading 'Poets and Painters': expect that to resume very shortly. Next segment's 7,300 words long I'm so sorry.
