Alina Starkov!!
1. Canon I outright reject
her losing her powers at the end of r&r! imo it doesn't work narratively and also I don't like it personally. and also she loves her powers and she deserves to be happy!
24. Most annoying habit
nooooo omg she's the loml nothing she does is annoying đ„°đ„° except her terrible taste in men lmao, does that count?
actually wait no she's totally the kind of person who sleeps really late in the mornings, and as a morning person that's soooo frustrating (not in a serious way but like, in a jokingly annoyed kind of way yk?)
#tysm for the ask!! i always love an opportunity to talk about alina lmao and this was so fun to think about#grishaverse#mayhem.txt#answered#alina starkov#also by terrible taste in men i mean the darkl!ng lmao (just to clarify)#maia đŒ

Excuse me???? How are we "treacherous" when the Teleri literally wouldn't give us their ships when we asked???
If they didn't want to be slaughtered, they should've just given us their swanships when we told them to. Besides, the Teleri aren't even Thingol's people! And it's not like your king was there to watch us kill the Teleri! He was literally hiding behind his wife's skirt!
đŠ flutterby-of-nivrim Follow
Wow, what an entitled piece of work you are.
First of all, way to victim-blame the Teleri of Alqualondë. They had every right not to surrender their swanships to a bunch of entitled jerks like you. You guys just stormed their lands, slaughtered them for saying no, then took the ships anyways.
Second of all, I don't understand your logic. So because Thingol wasn't there to see the kinslaying, he shouldn't be angry about it??? Girl, we Sindar are literally descended from the Teleri! Some of us had relatives who were killed in Alqualondë! And King Olwë was Thingol's kinsman! Of course Thingol has every right to be upset about the kinslaying!
Thirdly, Thingol was not "hiding behind his wife's skirt". We were literally fighting Morgoth before you guys even left Aman. We're more familiar with the evils of Morgoth than you Noldorin Elves. The whole reason why the Girdle was put up was because we lost a good chunk of our army.
Lastly, why are you even on the Sindarin side of Tumblr? Shouldn't you be kissing up to the FĂ«anorian princes on your own blog???

It's been a long journey, but at last, we made it to the Havens of Sirion.
Unfortunately, our king and queen fell in battle, and Menegroth is in ruins. Even worse, we couldn't find the twin boys in the forest. Though I pray that they are alive, deep down, I know that the worst has come to pass.
Luckily, we managed to escort Elwing to safety, but my heart aches for her. She's still so young, and in only one day, she's lost her parents and brothers.
But though her family is gone, I will do my best to help in raising her. I feel that she will grow into a strong young lady one day.
For now, it's time for us to rest. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
From tomorrow, we must start healing.

hi, song anon here... so, I made a list lol. all these songs were written and are sung by brazilian musicians, and it might be difficult to find the lyrics in english (but I can translate them for you if you'd like that). these are the first fics that came to my mind when you asked, but fics that weren't mentioned but are somewhat similar to the ones mentioned here would probably fit well with these same songs. most of the songs here are sung by Maria BethĂąnia, cause she's like my favorite musician. I hope you like these songs :)
Love me back to life 1 - As cançÔes que vocĂȘ fez pra mim (Maria BethĂąnia), AparĂȘncias (Belchior), Gota d'ĂĄgua (Chico Buarque), Eu e vocĂȘ sempre (Jorge AragĂŁo), VocĂȘ (Maria BethĂąnia), Gostoso demais (Maria BethĂąnia), Eu preciso de vocĂȘ (Maria BethĂąnia)

Just friends - Quero vocĂȘ (Maria BethĂąnia), Dona da minha cabeça (Geraldo Azevedo), Eu te amo (Chico Buarque), Seu balancĂȘ (Zeca Pagodinho), A proposta (Liah Soares and Zeca Baleiro)

3."Festa no CĂ©u" (2014):

inej for the character game!!
tysm for the ask!!
why I like them: she's so fucking iconic omg, she has so much strength and resilience and integrity
why I don't: actually I think anybody who doesn't like inej should be executed. HOWEVER I flip back and forth trying to decide whether or not I like her characterisation in the show, particularly in s2, and overall I think it's Not Great
favourite episode/scene: that one deleted scene with her and jesper!! it's actually a crime that it wasn't in the show holy shit
favourite season/movie: I hugely prefer her book characterisation tbh, especially in crooked kingdom
favourite line: âwhat about the nobodies and the nothings, the invisible girls? we learn to hold our heads as if we wear crowns. we learn to wring magic from the ordinary. that was how you survived when you weren't chosen, when there was no royal blood in your veins. when the world owed you nothing, you demanded something of it anywayâ is legitimately the best grishaverse quote EVER and I think it really sums up the entire series
favourite outfit: ooooh I love her outfit at the very end of s2, in the scene where we see her as a pirate!
otp: honestly I can't say anything other than kanej, they're really cute and such a good ship in the books as well
brotp: NINEJ I love them sm
headcanon: she and kaz are both total workaholics so they always have to gently nudge each other into taking breaks. idk I think it's cute
unpopular opinion: I'm not sure I really have any?
a wish: look she deserves a happy ending okay, she deserves to do whatever the hell she wants and not be beholden to anybody but still know that she has a home and a person to come back to!!!
an oh-god-please-don't-ever-happen: what if... she's away at sea... and then she comes back to ketterdam and can't find kaz... bc he pissed off the wrong person and now he's dead... and she has to live with the guilt of not being there bc she should have been there and she could have saved him and now he's gone. anyways. would be fun just for the angst of it all tbh
5 words to describe them: resilient, caring, driven, principled, conscientious
my nickname for them: idk I just call her inej? it's not really a name that's easy to shorten lmao
give me a character and I will answer...

a sapphic lit primer đž
also known as, an opportunity to insist you read my favourites
if youâve ever found yourself wanting to read more sapphic books, but not quite sure where to start, let this be the post for you! if youâre looking for even more sapphic books, i hope you find something in here too.
there are a few books on here iâve not read, that i wanted to include to raise awareness of them, more than anything. those are marked by *. as such, you will probably also see a fair few more well known books and authors missed off (but i promise i know about them!).
this is not meant to be at all exhaustive! itâs a collection of sapphic books that iâve read and would rec, meaning there are still tons more out there. & you can find some of those more at @sapphicreadsdbâ, readsrainbow (which i co-run with @tenderpotter), sapphiclitbot on twitter & my list of every sapphic book iâve read.
as ever, this was meant to be a relatively short post. haha.
(i promise i did put links on this post, but for some reason those arenât working on the blog page. dashboard version seems fine, i think.)

Hello Darling âą
I've caught up with everything that's been happening on here in the past week, and it's as great as ever here, honestly <3
I've noticed that you're now writing for Eonwë too. May I humbly suggest to put thought into the prospect of the Reader being with Manwë and him instructing Eonwë how to fuck her and just - sitting beside them and watching?
Just another thing that came to my mind that I had to get rid of somehow, and again, you don't have to write something, I know you're a busy person Darling :)
~đŒ
( â ) Ë Ë manwĂ«, eönwĂ« â ăł readerâ âàż
· â° synopsis. you find yourself bedded by the elder king's maia, with manwĂ« himself instructing him just how to fuck you ( minors dni ážáž sexual content ážáž explicit descriptions ážáž voyeurism ážáž threesome ážáž size kink if you squint ážáž penetrative sex ážáž marking )
· â° note. I know I'm responding to this so late but sometimes my brain just can't smut â and I absolutely needed to write this into a mini fic. so hear you go dearest, hope you enjoy this long awaited clusterfuck <3
âIs she not simply stunning?â
âYes, my lord,ââ the maia exhales in an attempt to release the swell of heat in his lungs. âSo, so stunning.ââÂ
Your eyes lift to find grey and you too release a breath. Yet nothing alleviates the feel of EönwĂ«âs length taking you inch by agonising inch. He sinks in, slow, steady, almost as if he is worried he may cause you pain â but the look you give him tells him otherwise. A large hand placed beside your head while the other cups and squeezes at your thigh, as though he were holding on to the last bit of restraint he had left.Â
Itâs too much. The way your face scrunches up, how your eyes gloss over, how you splutter oh so pathetically for him and above all, how your walls flutter around him. Trapping, squeezing, suffocating his cock which he knows damn well is already pulsing within your sheath. He made the mistake of looking at you for too long, observing your pleasures, your whines, how you rock your hips up into his while he bottoms out.Â
In turn, you feel just as helpless. With your back to the sheets and EönwĂ«âs towering form leaving no room for escape. How his fingers press into your thigh. You feel it, the jitter, his resolve fading and after a moment of admiring how he looks as though pleasure would drive him mad, you finally cast a glance to the man on the side.Â
ManwĂ«âs smile awaits you. Kind, benevolent and it almost makes you shudder. For you knew the absolute filth those lips had uttered mere moments ago. How they instructed his trusted maia to stimulate, edge and overall turn your mind into an incoherent mush.Â
âDoes that feel good, little dove?â He croons as his chin rests upon the palm of his hand. âIs EönwĂ« leaving you dazed? You want more, donât you little dove? Tell him how much you want it.ââÂ
You were almost embarrassed at how you clench around EönwĂ« when his master spoke. How your brows crinkle and your lip quivers. You nod, rolling your hips once more. âYes, yes please. EönwĂ«, please.ââ The maia chokes back a moan as his grip on your thigh tightens. Yet still, he does not move.
âOh, dear EönwĂ«. Why do you not put that hand to good use?â You neednât look upon ManwĂ« to know how his eyes may have darkened as he spoke. âIâm certain her little clit can take more. Isnât that so, my little dove?â Before you can even think of responding, however, you are left gasping. A thumb, calloused from aeons of swordsmanship, circles your more-than-abused pearl once again. It takes everything within you to bite back a cry but that self-restraint is nowhere to be found at your hips which meekly buck.Â
âEönwĂ«,ââ he watches as tears fall upon your face and how your fingers coil into satin sheets. âEönwĂ«, please. Please I need you to fuck me.ââÂ
The maia finally groans and it takes everything within him not to collapse into you, rut his hips against yours and make you sing his name oh so prettily. Grey hues cut over to meet a soft blue, dark with lust. âPlease, my lord. May I?ââ Heat floods your lungs when you hear ManwĂ«âs airy chuckle. You can only assume that he gave some sort of physical affirmation as within a matter of seconds the warmth that invaded your innermost self was fleeing. You almost whine but it quickly melts into an abrupt moan when it returns.Â
Heâs gradual at first, staggering even. Heaving along with you so that your breaths sync and become one. He draws away and then sinks back in. Again and again, and again. Until you are whining once more and leaving him on the edge of losing his mind. He forms a rhythm that coincides with your breaths, gasps and moans. The warmth below melts into a newfound heat and your hands that once clung to the sheets now seek refuge upon his shoulders.Â
Still, one can tell that EönwĂ« is holding himself back, albeit by a thread. Perhaps it was the subconscious desire to remain of good composure before his master, you knew not. So, to make it all the harder for him â you begin to call out his name. Soft, breathy which soon transcends into desperate, blissful, until heâs barely holding on and verges a tipping point.Â
âShe feels good, doesnât she, EönwĂ«?â At first, all he can do is nod. âYes, my lord.ââ EönwĂ« gasps with a flutter of his eyes as his pace falters in its rhythm. As penance for your tarnishment of his composure, he rubs at your clit quicker, harsher. Taking out his frustration upon the poor little bud and leaving you rasping for air.Â
âThen what are you waiting for, hmm?ââ You only just manage to cast the vala a side-eye with vision blurred from tears. âYou heard her, did you not?â He sighs, a pleasured sound. âShe wants you to fuck her, EönwĂ«. Give her what she wants.ââÂ
A sudden weight crushes you into the sheets and leaves you breathless and rasping, only for the little air that you did take in to be stolen once more as EönwĂ« finally begins rutting against you. His knees had given in while an arm hooked around your middle and his free hand still tormented your clit, harsher, if it was even possible. He shallows his thrusts, shoving his cock into a bundle of nerves that had you whimpering.Â
âE. . .EönâwĂ«, EönwĂ« please,ââ you made the mistake of slipping your hands further down so that fingers brushed against his soft wings. A spark ignites his spine and he groans shamelessly against your hair. If anything it drove him further into his lust-drunk state and he made it his new, personal goal, to fuck your lights out.Â
âThatâs it,ââ calls ManwĂ«, observing every shatter in his maiaâs resolve. âHowever, I wish to see more of her face. Let her ride you, EönwĂ«. Let me see her pretty face.ââÂ
You whine out ManwĂ«âs name when his order compels EönwĂ« to, reluctantly, withdraw from you. The vala chuckles again and brings his eyes to yours whilst EönwĂ«âs repositions you. âWhat was that, my little dove? I am afraid that if you keep whining for me like that poor EönwĂ« may not be permitted to complete his turn.ââÂ
As if to passively detest his masterâs proposal, EönwĂ« grabs your hips and brings your heat to consume his length once more. He now sits upon the mattress with his back to the headboard, not quite laying yet not necessarily upright. You would have responded to ManwĂ« if it were not for the way his maia took you this time around. Fervent, desperate, he bucks his cock up into your heat and guides your hips down to ensure you take all of him.Â
âKiss her neck, mark her up a little. She absolutely loves being claimed, right my dove?â You want to nod in response, however, fingers soon coil into your tresses and careen your head back. Now presented to him, EönwĂ« eagerly consumes your skin. Lips greedily kissing into tender crevices as he nips, sucks and overall marks you up â just as his master had ordered. With this new force prompting your chin to face the ceiling, there is no room to silence your noises and they all pour out. Shamelessly, unrestrained. Some are splutters of the maiaâs name, others are incoherent stutters. Quiet I cantâs and pleaseâs falling from your lips.Â
There is a shuffle from the side and before you can bring your gaze towards it you feel a hand at the back of your neck and breaths against your ear. ManwĂ« has joined the two of you, one leg kneeling behind your form as his hair trickles over your shoulder. He subtly swats away EönwĂ«âs hand on your hip and takes the liberty of controlling your movements. His eyes meet his maiaâs for but a moment and he utters a soft but firm; âdo not stop,ââ before his attention is back on you.Â
âThatâs it. My darling little dove. You wish to come, yes?ââ Gentle fingers slip to the front of your throat and wrap around to give it a gentle squeeze. You gasp, feeling EönwĂ« return to thumbing at your clit. Itâs dizzying, shattering and you limp back into the vala who eagerly accepts you. âYes, yes ManwĂ«, please.ââ His hand, now gripping beneath your chin, turns your head to face him.Â
âGo on then, darling. Come for him. For me.ââÂ
With that he presses his mouth to yours, taking in all your whimpers, moans and gasps as you finally tighten around EönwĂ« and come with a quiet cry against his masterâs lips. You swear that you felt ManwĂ« groan against you as he tightens his hold on your throat and, quite literally, steals your breath away.Â
âDid I tell you to stop?â ManwĂ« casts his maia a glance, smile upon his lips when he notices EönwĂ« beginning to slow down his pace. The vala has barely parted from your kiss, his lips still brushing against yours. You whine as the other complies and continues to fuck you through your climax, driving your eyes to roll back as you once again limp into ManwĂ« who now sucks hickeys below your jaw.Â
âWe are far from done with her. Keep going.ââ

đżđ±âïžCommon Herbs and Their UsesđŸđȘŽđŒ
I tried to include not just magical uses and rituals, but medical uses as well. Saying peppermint is useful for "health" is all well and good, but the body doesn't work like that. Certain materials are good for certain problems. And I don't believe that any of these should be used to replace traditional medicine. Also, I have written the word "closed" next to white sage because it is getting scarce and I don't think non-indigenous witches should use it. A stick of incense will get you there just the same without doing harm to indigenous people and practices.
And because I basically exclusively use glitter gel pens, I've included a filter that might be easier to read down below. I intend on doing a separate page on specifically flowers as well.
Books used as reference include: The Illustrated Herbiary by Maia Toll, The Modern Guide to Witchcraft by Skye Alexander, The House Witch by Arin Murphy-Hiscock, and the Wicca Book of Spells Witches Planner 2021. Click to improve quality

Okay, so, here I am, remaining anonymous so that itâs harder for you to kill me đ
- Jessamine is such an underrated character.
- Gabriel is way better than Gideon, and his internal struggle is way more realistic. Also, Gabrily is the best TID ship.
- Herongraystairs are special, while not my favorite, as a human relationship, but both Jessa and Wessa are so overrated. So is Kitty.
- Tessa is annoying. Worst protagonist by a whole lot.
- I dislike James almost as much as Charles. Also, I hate how Cassie blames everything on being irascible when it comes to James and Will. I feel like she validates behaviours that really shouldnât be validated.
- Having Thomas and Eugenia is Gideonâs redemption era.
- Neither Grace nor Christopher are necessarily aroace, and people should treat the topic more carefully. Iâm not saying that they canât be (and it would be great if Cassie handled it correctly), but I see a lot of people mixing up trauma with being aroace. And that is really harmful.
- Cordelia is okay, but I do feel like Cassie hasnât fully fledged her character and it occasionally seems to me like Iâm dealing with different people depending on the scenes.
- Ghostwriter isnât worth the hype, but itâs still way better than Jordelia.
- Jordan was in the wrong with Maia, but he wasnât a bad person.
- Kierarktina doesnât work. If Mark and Cristina had as much chemistry as Mark and Kieran or as Cristina and Kieran, itâd be great. Sadly they donât.
- Thule!Livvy and Cameron are so underrated. Iâm still heartbroken over one of them being dead in each world and them never being able to be together.
- Diego is a very complex and interesting character, precisely because heâs not perfect.
- QoAaD was disappointing, and its best parts were the Rosales brothersâ interactions.
- I love Malec, but what Cassie is doing with TEC (especially with TLBotW) isnât it.
- Shinyun was so interesting in TRSoM and deserved a better characterisation than whatever Cassie was thinking at the time.ïżŒ
Ready to be killed in 3, 2, 1⊠đ
@thestarkster1465 your soulmate is here. You can run to Antarctica together âšđ€
1 - SHE IS đ
MY UNDERRATED QUEEN. I really hope she'll manage to find peace in the wicked powers
2 - I wouldn't say he's better, I'll just say that plot makes him more complex, cause he was the one who stayed with his abusive father when Gideon left to Spain. He just has to be more interesting and complicated at this point. GABRILY BEING THE HORNIEST COUPLE + BEST PARENTS CHECKâ
3 - ...not Kitty and Jessa......YOUâ
4 - That's an individual thing, i guess. Tessa annoyed me too a bit in TID but i understand that she was just a young girl raised how she was supposed to be raised that time. I love her in every other bookđŒ
5 - .... there's some truth about Will...BUT MY LITERALLY CURSED BOY JAMES?!?!?! LIVING UNDER SOME DEMONIC LOVE SPELL SINCE HE'S 12 or sth?!?!?! He literally cries when he hears the sound of rain!!!!!
6 - Maybe maybe đ€
7 - That's actually a very complex and complicated topic. I think I should dedicate a separate post to this, but you're so right about that trauma part. @hotdog-frenchfries EDUCATE MEEEEEđ Personally, I think that as long as we don't have official information about their sexuality, we can think whatever we want. They might both be aroace or not, both options are valid for now. And no one can condemn any of these options cause we don't have any information about itđ€·đŒââïžI hope we'll find out in chot
8 - THAT'S SO TRUE OH MY GOD! Not to mention how in the first book Cordelia proudly told us where she came from and talked about her culture, and in the second book we pretend that none of this happened WTF CASSIE?!?!
9 - WHY Y'ALL DON'T LIKE MY GHOSTWRITER I'M GONNA CRY ALL DAYđ„ș @axoloteca hug me
10 -That's true, i actually answered one ask about him yesterday, pls find itđđ
11 - I wrote everything I think about Kierarktina here meow
12 - I KNOWđđą they fit each other so well, i guess Livvys destiny, to suffer in every world
13 - I've read TDA so fast I don't even remember him well. But everything i remember is pretty goodđ€âš
14 - It was disappointing for me too but for different reasons. I tried to finish TDA as fast as I could, so i don't remember much about them either ;-; I said it hundred times and I'll do it again: too many characters + not enough pages
15 - oh but why đ„șđ€
