Particularly when he's trying to hide his abilities, even if she's well aware of quite a few of them.

Is that some exasperation in Tatsuya's voice? Just a little. It isn't as if he can't keep a firmer grip to have her hold still, but it's unreasonable to have to expend so much extra energy just to help someone who clearly needs it but is in denial.

"Either allow me to carry you like this, or be thrown over my shoulder. The choice is up to you."

It was a simple sprain, but how he swept her off her feet and began walking as if she weighed nothing is what caught her off guard. Finally ending her ramble on how she could take care of herself. There wasn’t a reason he needed to carry her like this! And in front of everyone!! Was her face turning red from embarrassment? No, not at all! That’s a lie!

She repeats the phrase, but he isn’t letting her go. She can feel his grip tighten just slightly as he tries to get her to stop moving so wildly. She’s a Strategic-Class magician! The first aid she applied to herself, though minimal with what she had, was enough to last her until she got home!

However, there are times where you should rely on others. She also knows how true to his word he is, and just how stubborn he can be.

Her arms stop moving above her head, and she stays still.

She rather not be seen carried like a sack of potatoes. That would be more embarrassing to the point she might hide in her home and never come back. There was no way that he would- no, she knew he would do so. Resigning to the choice, she moved her arms around his neck.

“If you need to put me down, let me know. I can walk for a while.”

Lina can already hear the doctor give her an earful for doing that, and how she should not have put any weight on it at all.

“… Let me get you something after the visit. It’s the least I could do.”

She doesn’t like leaving debts unpaid. The look on her face also says that as he looks up at him, though with how red her face is steadily growing, it may have another meaning.
