Es introducing a new prisoner, how do all the other prisoners react, what is Es’ reaction?
PRISONER 011
warnings ? : brief mention of alcohol
ES VER.
Es doesn't really care as long as you don't give them trouble
If you came in after the first trial Es doesn't know how to feel should they do a separate trial just for you?
Despite not being extremely close to you they do their best to help you
One time you got sick and Es got scared so badly that you were going to die so they sent you to the hospital.
Other then that they treat you like everyone else (but your their overall favorite no doubt about it)
SAKURAI HARUKA VER.
At first he's scared of you (especially if your younger or shorter than him)
After a while he’d constantly follow you around like a little duckling following its mama.
He got a snack? He’ll share it with you! Are you cold at night? Come cuddle with him!
T2 exclusive: If you don't like Mu he’d be more inclined towards following you instead of her (but he’d still be kinda close to her)
Overall he’s attached at the hip to you almost like a little kid
KASHIKI YUNO VER.
From the start she views you as a little sibling, constant playful nagging and teasing, ruffling your hair, squishing your cheeks, or kissing your forehead.
One time her and Mahiru got makeup and basically gave you a Disney Channel makeover, “Hold still!~ Jeez you're so jumpy!~” She'd tease as she rubbed the brush over your eyelids.
During mealtimes she’ll always share her leftovers with you, as she puts it “Growing people have to eat” before shoving a cookie into your mouth.
If the cells are cold she’ll smuggle you a blanket or an extra pillow.
Whenever she sees you she’ll wrap her arms around your shoulders or waist saying “[N/N]!~ Hiya!~ How’ve you been~”
FUUTA KAJIYAMA VER.
At first he stands his guard, constantly wary of you even while in his cell, always sitting away from you during meals.
One day they gave you all a nintendo switch, during the day you would all play on it, one night in particular you couldn't sleep, you decided to use it but as you entered the room Futa had beat you to it.
Safe to say for the next few hours you and Fuuta would be cheering, yelling and praising each other.
During the colder days he’d cuddle up next to you while you played with a blanket draped over the both of you.
Safe to say he quickly warms up to you, having the dynamic him and his sister had before he was brought to MILGRAM.
KUSUNOKI MUU VER.
At first it feels like she's forcing herself to interact with you, constantly trying to talk with you even if she's clearly not sure how.
After a while she hands you some kind of french pastry saying that Es got it for her, that started her relationship with you.
She’ll walk around the prison with you, going around and around and around talking about anything and everything.
One time she got so excited to see you she almost pushed you to the floor.
Safe to say you're her best friend or she hates you.
KIRISAKI SHIDOU VER.
Given that your younger than him (and probably the same height if not shorter) he treats you like a child or more specifically his child.
Constantly making sure your well fed, getting proper exercise and being aware of your surroundings.
However there's a specific memory that stands out to you: Es let you in the kitchen to make breakfast and you burnt the eggs. Shidou: Feeling bad for you, taught you to properly cook them. (you fed the burnt eggs to Jackalope after.)
One time you scraped your knee to the point that you could barely stand up right, he took you into your cell and practically forced you to rest.
In conclusion he treats you like his child, even if you aren't his child.
MAHIRU SHIINA VER.
Very social and definitely treats you with loves of love and respect with her big heart
Sure she's not the sharpest tool in the shed but she tries her very best for you!
If you ever get hungry and tells you not to get more food Mahiru’s got you! Let's just hope she doesn't get caught too
Again: If you ever get a TV or cable in the prison she's going to make you watch KDramas and romances with her.
Overall loves you a lot and would do anything for you and your affection
MOMOSE AMANE VER. (PLATONIC)
Given she's a child she either hates you or loves you.
If you're around her age range she’ll love you to death, holding your hand on the way to and from meals, playing board games with you, and finding random things in that hardcased backpack she owns.
If either of you get any kind of sweets or drinks you’ll be sitting in her cell talking about how life is going in MILGRAM.
If you ever get some kind of cable or TV or something you can watch programs on you’ll watch her favorite ones for hours on end.
Overall your both like clingy siblings and people think it's cute.
KAZUI MUKUHARA VER.
This man is a father with ten kids. You are one of them.
Immediately taking you under his wing so Kotoko doesn't come and attack you and introducing you to Mikoto and Shidou.
If you ever get hurt he's doting over you like the father he is and taking you to Shidou.
He’s kinda boring because he's old but he's still fun, sometimes you’ll play chess with him because it “helps sharpen your brain”
Even if he talks like a grandpa we love him (my favorite grandpa fr)
MIKOTO KAYANO VER.
IMMEDIATE CHAOS. Like the kind of chaos where it's midnight and your having hallucinations of random things on the wall while sipping coffee kind of chaos.
You’ll grow close either super quickly or super slowly, given how much of a character he is but you’ll become close either way.
Late nights with him include: booze, card games, Mikoto smoking cigarettes (and maybe you too) and big fuzzy blankets
T2 Scenario: After Mikoto’s fight with Kotoko he’ll make sure to defend you at all cost, even if that means fighting her till one of them is dead.
Overall: It's chaotic but still fun.
KOTOKO YUZURIHA VER.
Kotoko is both social and cautious, she feels like as much as she wants to befriend you she also doesn't want to be too close in case you backstab her.
You’d be on talking terms for a while till you went back to her cell she said something about welcoming gifts and she’d give you a pocket knife (you never questioned it but you wondered how she got it inside)
T2 Scenario: If you were voted guilt she’d try hitting you in the head with her bat only for you to stab her hand with the knife she gave you (now regretting giving it to you.)
She’ll always make sure your eating well occasionally giving you her leftovers if she can't finish all of her food.
Kotoko's cautious but she’ll never intentionally put you in harms way.

Started watching Milgram with the bestie we paused at Bring it on
He loved the concept and might get into it from how I saw him, I don't think it'll become a hyperfixation, but at least will understand a bit more when I freak out heh
He loved undercover, not sure his feelings towards Jacklope, so far he things Es is kind but also doing their job correctly
The way he is judging the characters is basically by the law, I explained it was about forgiving or not and so on, but he kept going with "um actually ☝️🤓" jsjsjsjs
So far according to him
Haruka: guilty. Even tho he is a victim of his circumstances, and didn't have the means to stop he still did it with his own hands. Reducing/shorter his sentence considering all the mental health issues. Feels bad for him (extra note, when we were watching the VD: "... That used to be you.... >:( That used to be literally you." When Haruka apologizes profusely). Neutral-positive about him, but loved the teaser of T1 (the glitched thing)
Yuno: innocent. Abortion isn't murder. Feels REALLY bad for her, I don't think he cried but pretty sure it was like a bucket of cold water to him. Believes Yuno wanted to keep the baby and had to get rid of it (which is what hit him and made him feel horrible for her). Favorite character so far. (Extra note: every time I heard him pity her I just thought of Yuno being pissed for that on t2)
Fuuta: guilty. He agrees with what he does (twitter users understand each other lmao), but he committed an indirect murder (there's an actual term), he suspects Fuuta got the girl killed by doxing. "He had many chances to stop, and never did. He was fully aware of what he was doing and didn't show us any mental health issues that could've done any effect on his decision making". Understands him, neutral-positive about him too
A couple extra notes, when we watched the trailer, with Muu he immediately went "this one is such a manipulator" and as a Muu hater I just stare jsjsjsjsjs I'm really excited to see his reaction to Muu's whole arc till now... (Extra note: the bestie used to be quite similar to Muu in many aspects so I can't wait to see what will happen from that). When Shidou popped up he just went "Hannibal!!" (His hyperfixation) and I just go "no". When Mahiru popped up, he loves her, atm on top 3 favorite (I don't think that's gonna last), "I support her and she is innocent" also he officially assigned her to me... (Just like how I've assigned to him Kotoko and Kazui). With Kazui he also loved him, he loved what he said on the trailer and seems to agree a lot with him, also on top 3 favorites. Amane, "is she the cult one?" .... "Oof.... Ugh.... That's rough..." but even so "saying that there are things more important than the law.... Doesn't sound good for her". With Mikoto and Kotoko he really didn't say anything of interest...
So I'm trying to stay quiet for the most part (even tho I've infodump him a lot) and I'm fighting for my life defending my boy Haru and, I might've been a t2 Amane guilty voter and all, but I'll probably jump in her defense if he says not forgive. It's gonna be so much fun see him struggle with Mahiru's case and I'm just gonna stare like (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Anyways so far he's enjoying it a lot and some of his opinions will probably sparkle debates between us, but I'm trying my hardest to stay calm because he doesn't have the full picture yet (well we neither, but you get it)

HELLO MOOTIE im here to ask ur opiniom on 18 and 21 for the milgram asks 😵‍💫 ALSO have a nice day, if not then im sure tomorrow will be. IF STILL NOT then the other day, the other and other and other- okay dont forget to rehydrate urself if u hadn't. thats all thank you!!
Hello, and same to you, my friend~
Don’t mind me, just gonna take advantage of not having a specified character to babble on about as many characters as possible. I’m just a silly gal, a silly goose if you will 🪿
18.) What non-Deco Vocaloid songs do you think suits them?
Jackalope: “Welcome to the Internet” by Bo Burnham. Do I need to explain?
Es: “Saint Bernard” by Lincoln although I thought “Autoheart” by Sailor Song fit them as well (more so Es singing it to Kotoko/us). At this point, the poor kid’s exhausted and straining under the pressure and guilt so I think “Saint Bernard” fits them rather well.
Haruka: Hmmm. This one's tough. I'm gonna have to go with “I’ll Be Good” by Jaymes Young. It’s mournful and pleading and I think if he had been voted guilty in Trial One, his second trial song would have vibes of “I’m bad but I want to be better” instead of “I’ll be bad to be better,” that All-Knowing, All-Agony gives me. As a runner up, "Not While I'm Around," from the Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street musical. I can just picture him singing it.
Yuno: “Bring on the Men” from the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde musical. It’s fun, full of quips and innuendos, and definitely embraces her take on sex work.
Fuuta: “Dance, Dance” by Fall Out Boy. I feel like this fits his vibe.
Muu: “We R Who We R” by Kesha. Love her, hate her, you gotta admit that Muu wants to embody this IDGAF confidence, and I will indulge her with this song (where's the yellow paint can? I liked using it for Muu).
Shidou: “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron. It just sounds very mournful and fits his longing to see his loved ones again.
Mahiru: “E.T.” by Katy Perry, specifically the one without Kanye West because it vibes better with her. It's less... let's say Katy Perry is less direct about what she wants from her alien, and I feel like Mahiru could barely spit out an innuendo because of her dedication to her 'good girl' image.
Kazui: I suppose “False Confidence” by Noah Kahan would be a good fit. The emphasis on trying to fake it till you make it and wishing to go back to when you were young and before you began faking your way through life. That said, "The Good in Me" by Jon Bellion was a close second.
Amane: Another tough one. Perhaps "Miss Independent” by Ne-Yo. I had a song on here that didn’t really fit her and then I heard this song on the radio and went, “No, that’s the one.” Something fun and light but still fits her idealized self.
Mikoto: “LA Devotee” by Panic! At the Disco. Like Fuuta, it just fits his vibe. That said, I feel like John is scream-singing "Fight Back" by NEFFEX at him.
Kotoko: “Interlude IV” by Zach Callison. I can only assume this is what her two brain cells discussed during the break between the first and second trials. It’s menacing but fits so well.
21.) Do you have any similarities with them/relate to them?
Hmmm. It'll probably be shorter if I write a paragraph rather than breaking it up by character. I suppose the two I relate the most to would be Es and Yuno, but I relate a startling amount to Shidou, if I’m being honest. Let me explain the Shidou thing first since I know that he is heavily disliked and how I relate to him is dependent on how I view his crime.
My impression of Shidou is that he was a doctor who looked at the forest rather than the trees. At the very least, he pushed for the family members of patients who were brain-dead to take them off life support. I think he also pushed for patients to undergo risky surgeries in hopes that it would treat them when their current treatment failed. Shidou never thought beyond treating the physical ailment, and it wasn’t until his wife and children were in the car accident where he was put in the same position that Shidou fully understood the emotional weight of what he asked his patients and their families to do. With that, he began to suffocate under his own feelings of guilt and inadequacy (because if he couldn’t save his family, what is his worth?), and his push for the death penalty and claims about being irredeemable were his own attempts at trying to die so he can be with his family again. It was only when Kotoko attacked, that his savior complex was revived and he was given purpose again. I fully expect him to try and attack Kotoko (“remove that fang” anyone?) and push for the death penalty again during the third trial. Now, I know you’re thinking, wtf, how can you relate to this man?
Well, for starters, if the people I loved most in this world were violently ripped away from me while I stood helplessly by, I’d blame myself and look for reasons as to why I’m the worst and deserve death. Also, I have a lot of family who are nurses, and stories about dickhead doctors and the realities of illness, injuries, and treatments were common enough dinner conversations that hearing about, reading, and listening to Shidou act like a martyr makes me think, “Yeah, professional hazard,” not “what a scum ball.” To me, Shidou is the equivalent of a pothole in the street. I might startle if I fall into him but in all likelihood, I’ll trip, grumble, and move on. There’s also the part where I think, if I was a worse person, I’d probably be more like Shidou. He reminds me of what I could be if I was more arrogant, more willing to sacrifice in the name of the bigger picture.
But onto happier topics, I like to think I’m able to relate to Es. They have a strong sense of morality, integrity, and responsibility when it comes to their work. I like to think I keep to those three values when faced with an unknown or conflict. It’s admirable how they try to stay true to those values despite Milgram’s mental/physical interference when it comes to Es trying to remember or establish a sense of personhood separate of the organization’s will. With Yuno, I like to think I can read the room, albeit I’m probably on par with Muu, not Yuno when it comes to that. Although, I do understand her frustration with trying to establish agency when others try to limit it, and admire how willing she is to put herself out there to find herself. Actually, now that I write this down, I admire Yuno more than relate to her. I guess I’m Shidou and Es. Sorry y’all.
As a bonus, Jackalope. If I had to pick anything to relate to, I would certainly pick his love of the drama and chaos that goes on in Milgram. I definitely share his amusement for the chaos. As much as I enjoy all the prisoners (including Es in that), with the caveat of some more than others, I get a bit of a kick out of trying to use Jackalope’s taunts and jabs to predict what will happen next. If Es is the audience surrogate, then Jackalope is an author insert. He’s as enjoyable as he is smarmy, and I enjoy a battle of the wits. I’d probably lose against Jackalope in that battle, but hey, I’d lose with a shit-eating grin on my face. Jackalope definitely knows more than he lets on and while I don’t think he’s ever lied outright with how he prefers to dodge questions and give half-answers, he is using that to keep the upper hand and let things unfold. I don’t think I’m sadistic, but he is a fun enemy to face.

You're turning this on me? Hmm.... hmm...
Honestly, I don't think I think enough about Jackalope to be able to bully him. (I apologize if I use internet slang that I've never used before.)
Fuuta. I mean, what's not to bully? He's a loser. He's pathetic. He's short. He lost an eye and is constant pain. He's absolutely ridden with guilt over what he's done. (Petty of me to keep bringing up his height when I'm shorter than him.)
Shidou. Man was barely voted forgiven in T1. He lost his wife and kids, and then he got the highest forgiven percentage, and then... that just wasn't interesting enough to the audience. It took Triage 9 months to hit 1M views. The "After Pain" Es cover and the T2 songs trailer hit 1M faster than Triage. Amane throws pancakes on him. He didn't participate in the arm wrestling match in Yamanaka's tweet. Shidou, you coward. At least Fuuta had the guts to lose to every guy and Kotoko.
Mikoto. Poor, pathetic guy who doesn't know why he's here. Falls on his behind and stares at tarot cards in horror as John looks down on him. Frantically runs through the subway train and almost trips. Super normal guy. Also, I'm eagerly waiting for Amane to dethrone him.
Muu. Get dethroned. The former breakout hit queen of both trials. Now she's been stomped by Amane twice. Watch her T3 song be a bop... and then watch T3 Amane knock her down yet again. While I found T1 really sad and quite the moral dilemma, I laughed through all of T2 and how confident she was about her verdict. Girl, you spent half of T1 in the red and barely survived. So much bug spray and flyswatter art...
Kotoko. I have so many conflicting thoughts about her vote. Do I forgive her because she's beautiful? Do I slam her because she has slighted every prisoner? Honestly, I think I will go through with my bet of "vote her innocent after Day 1 and eat popcorn as she gets worse than Muu". ...Or she doesn't get worse than Muu, and I begrudgingly lovingly create a cross stitch of her.
Es. Pretty much all the reasons you stated, but also, if Es dares to hit Amane a third time, I'm getting my revenge.
Amane. Bad things happen to Amane. That is all.
Kazui. Old man jokes, I guess? He's not even that old.
Haruka. Kind of hard to bully him when his story makes me more sad than anything, but poor guy isn't exactly the front runner of the show. Weakness was overtaken by Muu and Amane's songs. AKAA is lagging in views given that it was the first T2 song.
Yuno. She's not asking for anyone's opinions. But also, I wonder if I would've participated in the "sopping wet cat Yuno" trend if I wasn't on vacation at the time.
Mahiru. I see a bit too much of myself in her, and she's too badly injured for me to make fun of her. Even the 69.69% jokes weren't amusing to me. I was too busy slamming the "innocent" button on her and Kazui.
I wrote this on the fly, so I apologize for any and all bad takes.
Rank the Milgram characters by how often you bully them (or how likely you would).
Now these are the real Milgram questions, thank you 👏
Jackalope: If I was a better cook I'd make rabbit stew.
Fuuta: My man. My skrunkly. My sad wet cat. I am always bullying him. He’s nasty. He’s mean. He's lame. He fucked up so so bad. He’s insufferable. Bad fashion. A gamer. Twitter user. Probably stinky. I love him with all my heart.
Shidou: Also love him and exist in a state on nonstop shittalking. He sucks and he’s the biggest drama queen in Milgram. Everything he does is ridiculously dramatic. Oh, did you know he's a doctor? Did he mention that yet???? He’s extra in his videos and his questions and minigrams and official art. He’s gotta chill.
Kotoko: Also a drama queen. She’s so INTENSE. She’s STRUNG TIGHT. She’s that person who outdoes everyone at the potluck and there’s no need for all that. She needs to Chill Out which makes her fun to tease.
Es: I know they’re doing their best but also I have so much to say on the way they’re running things. The Puerto Rico thing. The kicking-grown-men-fairly-often thing. The John thing. Seriously? That's the name you pick? Fucking John?????
Kazui: Also a drama queen. I mean, I'm extra about being gay too but he’s being so dramatic about it that it’s literally getting people killed 🙄
Mikoto: Teasing him only for his denial of the situation. It has been 3+ years. Please. Have a shred of self reflection. Look inside for one tiny second. Please. I’m begging you. And also bullying you until you do.
John: I mean I completely understand trying to fix a problem and fucking things up further but that doesn't mean I can't bully him for it too
Muu: She and Haruka are a bit harder to tease because their stories make me more sad than anything, but also. Bee jokes.
Haruka: I am so so sad over him all the time. However he is very dramatic about some things and I can tease him a bit. As a treat.
Mahiru: Character of all time, she’s done nothing wrong, but she gets a little bit of bullying for the same reason as Mikoto. Girl that’s rats!!!!!
Yuno: Once again she makes me too emotional to effectively bully. She’s staying in her lane and not being overdramatic. She’s pissed off all the time and she should be!!
Amane: What could I even tease her about?? I would actively join her in bullying Fuuta and Shidou in those minigrams, and anyone else she wanted. Muu better watch out, there’s new mean girls in town
Also I'm officially turning this back on you (and anyone who sees this) because now I want to see people's bullying tiers 😂

Difference in Song Preview Length
Hello! Admin Venus here. I noticed that the preview of songs for the second trial felt (and was) a lot shorter than the one of the first trial, so I decided to check it out! On the whole, songs went from around 20ish second previews to around 16 second previews, with a bit of variance:
Haruka: 0:04 to 0:24 (20 seconds) to 0:04 to 0:15 (11 seconds)
Yuno: 0:25 to 0:45 (20 seconds) to 0:16 to 0:32 (16 seconds)
Futa: 0:46 to 1:07 (21 seconds) to 0:33 to 0:49 (16 seconds)
Mu: 1:07 to 1:29 (22 seconds) to 0:50 to 1:06 (16 seconds)
Shidou: 1:30 to 1:48 (18 seconds) to 1:07 to 1:24 (17 seconds)
Mahiru: 1:49 to 2:10 (21 seconds) to 1:25 to 1:38 (13 seconds)
Kazui: 2:11 to 2:35 (24 seconds) to 1:41 to 1:57 (16 seconds)
Amane: 2:36 to 2:56 (20 seconds) to 1:58 to 2:14 (14 seconds)
Mikoto: 2:57 to 3:17 (20 seconds) to 2:15 to 2:31 (16 seconds)
Kotoko: 3:18 to 3:38 (20 seconds) + 7 seconds of instrumental (27 total) to 2:33 to 2:56 (23 seconds)
The video is about a bit less than a minute shorter, so averaging cutting 4 seconds across ten people gets pretty close. Kotoko’s is really interesting though–her actual vocal part (not counting the HARROW instrumental that continues once her part is over) actually got longer.
I feel like this is meant to convey something; maybe the prisoners as a whole are getting harder to read, or more distant from Es, but Kotoko is sharing more information as part of the deal? Not sure, but I’m curious to find out!
