Luke would fake an excuse to get permission from Mr. D to leave camp with you.

“Mr. D we need to get some uh.. more ornaments for the Aphrodite Cabin!”

“No, Lucas. You can’t leave camp with your girlfriend to buy—“

“We’ll bring wine.”

“A taxi should be here in ten minutes.”

He’d hold your hand the entire ride, looking excitedly through the window.

The two of you would walk through a crowded Times Square but it’s all worth it because you have each other.

“Baby, look! Pose next to Santa, I want a new picture to have next to my bunk.”

“I’ll only pose with him if you do too, Castellan.”

He’d roll his eyes but Luke can’t ever say no to you, so he’d end up posing next to you, pressing a kiss to your cheek and throwing a peace sign for the camera.

The two of you would walk hand in hand, whenever you dropped his to look at the stuff some street vendors were selling he would look for any dumb excuse to hold it again.

“Angel, your hands are getting cold. Here, I’ll help.”

You’d buy matching christmas ugly sweaters that say “Mr. Claus” and “Mrs. Claus” on the back.

The two of you would buy some coffee and walk around the city, finally reaching Central Park.

There’s a man with a speaker playing Christmas songs and fairy lights adoring the trees.

Luke would guide you closer to the speaker, slow dancing with you to Frank Sinatra’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

His arms finding a home in your waist and yours around his neck, slowly swaying to the music.

He’d hum when you lay your head on his chest, closing your eyes and taking the moment in.

Luke slowly taps his fingers on your waist, making you look up before pulling you into a kiss.

“Merry Christmas, baby.”

You’d get back to camp in the middle of night, where you’re greeted with a very angry Mr. D and an even angrier Aphrodite Cabin.

Whenever things aren’t too busy the boys will go to Gene when they need something sewn, like holes in their clothing or reattaching patches. They know how to do it themselves, but Gene’s got so much practice that by the time he’s done you can’t even tell the clothing was damaged in the first place. He does enjoy it and takes his time with this sort of needlework, falling into a slow and smooth rhythm because what’s the rush? It gives him something constructive to do with his hands and it feels nice to breathe new life into something without all the blood.

Doc totally just ignores his own injuries until after things settle and he’s made his rounds especially if they’re something minor. He doesn’t exactly hide them, but he never actually goes out of his way to tell anyone when he got hit by something as meager as shrapnel. Like if they need stitches he’ll just do it himself.

And so maybe one of the boys jumps on his back or squeezes his shoulder or they initiate some light roughhousing that ends up popping said stitches. Of course he lets out a small yelp or hiss or grunt of pain that has all the other boys in vicinity immediately frozen in place with wide eyes and gaped mouths because they’re high-key freaking out on the inside. Literally the absolute last thing they need is for their Doc Roe to be hurt and if he’s hurt becuase of one of them?? Yikes.

And they just watch transfixed as he cuts a slit in his pants (ones he’d only just gotten to replace the ones he’d had to cut through the first time gosh darn it) and undoes the stitches and fixes up the newly bleeding gash so quickly that they don’t even have time to process wtf he’s doing.

Andrew & tattoos

Been working on my redraw of Neil and Andrew from Pride 2021, and I've been inundated with thoughts of Andrew and tattoos.

(Including wonderful thoughts and ideas from people on the aftg big bang discord server)

Some of these will be more specific than others

Andrew gets a whole bunch of tattoos over the years. It's a reclamation of his body, and he likes the look of them, but that doesn't mean he ever gets truly comfortable in the chair. He can't be because there's someone he doesn't trust touching him and stabbing him repeatedly with needles for at least half an hour, but up to six at a time when he sits for bigger pieces. So every time he gets one, someone goes with him. Usually, it's Neil, both because that's who he trusts most and also the convenience of them living together for so long.

The two of them have a few matching tattoos. They have the key to the Columbia house with each other's initials on them. Neil's is over his heart, I'm less certain where Andrew's is. They have matching continuous single-line tattoos of the cats, and they each have roman numeral tattoos of the other's fox number.

In his fifth year, Andrew mentions that he'll be getting a Medusa tattoo. Aaron, who has been quietly researching ways to support SA survivors (which only Katelyn knows about), knows what a Medusa tattoo symbolizes and immediately offers to go with him. Andrew doesn't object and lets him come along. Because Andrew doesn't object to Aaron going to the session with him, neither does Neil, despite assuming he would go with Andrew. He still doesn't get along with Aaron, but he thinks Aaron going with Andrew will be good for them both. Before the session, Neil stops by to tell Aaron what Andrew's favorite tattoo session snacks/treats are and his favorite place to go afterward.

At some point, after he graduates from Palmetto, Andrew gets a tattoo in honor of Betsy. He tells Bee before he gets it, on one of their weekly phone calls and she offers to come with him. At the appointment, Bee surprises him by getting a matching tattoo with him. He gets forget-me-nots surrounded by a bee on his shoulder. She gets hers over her heart, and he gets his on his shoulder so she's always looking out for him. He holds her hand through the entirety of her time in the chair, and she talks to him through the entirety of his. They both quietly laugh at Andrew's choice of the forget-me-nots considering his memory. But if Besty notices that when they are colored they are also the same color as Neil's eyes, she keeps that observation to herself.

❄️so once you were old enough to explore the world, your now newly hatched eevee was by your side through thick and thin. you both participated in whatever tournaments were happening, and even went as far as to challenge the champion at the time

❄️of course, you lost, which was a bit hard to take at the time, but that leon kid showed a lot of potential- and it helped that he quickly befriended you afterward. your eevee was rather fond of him and his team, and so were you

❄️so when leon introduced you to his other friends; sonia and raihan, you were ecstatic. you really felt like you were part of something! and your sweet eevee was able to befriend their pokemon, and of course, them as well in the process

❄️there was just... one thing that was a bit off. when eevee was ready to evolve, and you gave it the choice to evolve, it chose to become a glaceon. which you were thrilled about! raihan though? not so much

❄️he wasn't as dramatic as other dragon-type trainers who despise ice types, no it wasn't that

❄️he was upset that your glaceon basically was copying him

❄️it didn't take long for you to notice how similar his headband was to glaceon's fringe. it honestly made you laugh for a good 5 minutes
