So this is my 3rd full year of playing and my 4th anniversary since I started playing on the third anniversary lol.

4 slot Akuma Homura ! I got her 4 slotted in under 200 rolls. So slay.

1s Ao hell yeah!! I know she’s good for water kimochi and my water supports are like just yachiyo’s and mayu lol

I don’t remember when this happened but I got spooked by dark mitama so I got another 4 destiny crystals saved up! Just one more!! Ooooh how exciting.

And then I was Pity Spooked by yunas last slot which yay ae and honestly yay yuna love her (give her an alt already damn it) but like I want kimochi lavi!!!

But I shouldn’t complain these banners have been so kind to me (which good!! May I remind you of the horrors of last year!! Like 300 rolls into IroMado and I didn’t pull them once. They are by far my most expensive unit. 2 innocent gems, a destiny crystal, and a coin shop. At least I got many copies of pajama party lol)

But somehow with me throwing every possible gem and ticket I got into the limited gacha I was able to grab another shop slot so I was be able to get Kimochi Lavi! She’s like super strong at 1 slot! (Wellll I do have her 100 se now and gave her damage cut but still strong lol)

Overall!! I’m so so happy with this years anniversary!! So happy with both of my accounts! Can’t believe akuma homura is here, scene 0 is finally coming, new COLLABS?? Magia record looking good this year! Which is very exciting!

yippeee magia exedra thoughts as someone who played both magia record and honkai star rail

a part of me wishes it spent a little time cooking like ik its early access but its like i was disappointed by the travel parts bc it really doesnt add anything new. im not necessarily wanting hsr where its a whole world that would cost so much money but like i also want to spin in a circle when im in a labyrinth. the designs are cool though i feel like they captured some of the uncanniness of the witches however its also not the same cause its 3d but its a moot point

combat wise is fine theres some form of skill expression more than magia record but not nearly as much as hsr. i have my own hot takes of i wish iroha was the five star healer instead of a breaker and i wish yachiyo’s fallen comrade passive carried over i just liked how you can feel bits of the wish in the kit. everyone else is fine though no complaints really. too many attack heavy five stars though. deeply fascinated by the system where we pull different copies though it reminds me of bleach brave souls tbh and its weird to get used to.

i do have some concerns on the future of the unit viability because hsr has this huge problem with powercreep and feels predatory. take for example castorice who is an upcoming unit and like she had a whole passive where she revived your allies just by having her in the account. hsr is like 2 years old and the old characters are just useless unless you have a god tier support that gets powercrept. and some units it feels like you Need to get through the game sometimes like i feel like youre fucked if you dont have a five star sustain or support like if you dont have robin tribbie or sunday what are you even doing. and how people pull for team comps rather than characters now like idgaf about tribbie but i pulled for her because she makes my team stronger. i have dan heng il on my team and because i dont have sparkle hes a glorified trophy wife which sucks because i like him but hes basically useless. i hope that four stars can still be relevant, like obviously not going to outperform a five star but can decently fill a niche a five star has like being a strong healer or support. like being a ‘we have tsuruno at home’ kind of units. i think so far the four stars have their own niches at least support wise like riko not being on tsuruno level but is adequate at filling the role of crit buffer.

i hope magia exedra doesnt have the same power creep problems and you dont fee pressured to pull for dupes just to get a good character (cough acheron). or if they were necessary at least have them easily accessible rather like dislyte where it really isnt that hard to get r6 characters like im f2p except for one moment of weakness but i have a few characters who are just fully maxed out because none of the characters are limited and i dont have to wait for their banner to roll around to summon.

also this game just doesnt feel very f2p friendly like the dailies is like 50 a day theres no real way of obtaining new sources of gems other than like events as far as i know. bbs had the character ascension, senkaimon tower, and bit more and arknights it is ridiculously easy to get orundum like its a farmable resource.

overall maybe my expectations were a bit high but its still too early to see how this all plays out like it’s always gonna get compared to magia record because its existence ended magiareco but i want to hope that the team is open to feedback

mitama is evil. just for different reasons. but we support her nonetheless

Reasoning for group therapy: solo therapy poses more problems such as intense murderous feelings and an urge to maim the therapist. By putting 3 murders in a room, perhaps they will target each other instead

Day 1 results: They all screamed at each other. When asked about their self perception, all clients had immense emotional breakdowns. Snaa wanted to terminate the group therapy, however spubkly Nahida genshin continued on, hoping to get a good result.

At the end 2/3 recieved pancakes. Akechi finds it disturbing that Korkoo kins him, he says "Its unsettling, did you see the way that THING looked at ME?" he tells Nahida and Snaa.

Wanderer scoffs at Pancakes as they are too sweet for him.

Day 2: Nahida asked them to compliment one another on things they admired in each of them. They ended up comparing k.ll counts and discussing what the best ways to manipulate and manslaughter are. Snaa was greatly concerned but Nahida insisted on continuing.

Wanderer commented, "YOU FREAKS HAVE NO SHAME. " Before attempting to smack both participants.

Wanderer was then forced to practice saying sorry. The other two attempted not to laugh at him. "an L" korkoo commented on the situation, however he was forced to apologize as well.

I think the hardest thing for me is I really love the gameplay. And there’s so much story content that I always wanted to get to… it feels like those are the two things that will disappear. Like I would love to still try and beat the despair witches or just replay old levels for fun. Even if it’s just a few doesn’t have to be all I guess. Like I love hearing their voice lines and sound effects and music like- please bro. I need it all to stay. And my Home Screen and setting a favorite like please bro

I got paid today so I decided to buy the new years bags and see what I get

I decided to use the crystal thing to get another slot on the vampire queen (she has carried me through so much at only 1 slot she deserves it)
