Don't mind me, I'm just doing some late night thinking about how the MagiReco TVTropes page told me that Kanagi's speech style is meant to resemble a soldier's and how most people probably think she talks like that because she has a grandfather she looks up to who's a veteran or some other relatable reason instead of the reality that it's likely a habit/coping mechanism she took on after fighting Witches for so long and learning that she and her fellow Magical Girls are basically expendable soldiers for Kyubey's goals.
