Huh, a statement about Getrude. Wasn't expecting that. She's so complicated, man. Like, she did some really shitty things, but it was to save the world, but it didn't matter because none of the rituals wouldn't have worked anyway, but she didn't know that at the time. And then there's the bit of hypocrisy where she retaliated against Emma for using the other assistants as guinea pigs, yet she did some horrible stuff with her assistants too, like what she did to Michael, and Jon does acknowledge that hypocrisy. I don't know how I feel about Getrude sometimes.

Jon is just like me when it comes to trying to describe my emotions, you practically have to heimlich the words out of me, kind of a problem when I'm trying to talk to my friends or a counselor about what I'm feeling.

Jon calling Martin his reason had me giggling and kicking my feet like:

MAG 167 is a trip for many reasons

But the realization that if Jon had died, and the others could have quit… They wouldn’t have hesitated. I feel that in my bones, they would have taken Jon out. And left the archives. Maybe even burned that place to the ground as a last middle finger to Elias.

I really don’t think they would have even stopped to think about it. And if they had found out about it before the destroying your own eyes method?
