Mafiatale Sona - Jazz Watson

Jazz is my sona for mine and @justsamwich 's mafiatale AU and I wanted to share him with you all~

Basic Info

Name: Jazz Watson

Age: 27

Soul Color/Trait: Yellow/Justice

Height: 5’ 5”

Weight: about 180 lbs (mostly muscle)

Occupation: Bodyguard/Hired Muscle

Personality

Jazz is relatively down to earth but has a passionate side hiding under his calm, cool collected shell. He is straightforward and tends to keep a professional distance from others, as he has been hurt and others have been hurt for being close to him before. He cares a great deal for those who have gotten past his outer walls and is intensely protective of them. Has a soft spot for kids and sweets. Often works himself into the ground or takes on burdens for others because he doesn’t want anyone else to struggle if he can help.

Personal History

Grew up in an orphanage, left at the age of 14 and began to do work for hire wherever he could find it.

He left with another teenager from the orphanage, Matilda (He always called her Tillie), who he viewed as his only family for a very long time.

Always been a bit of a trouble magnet, somehow managing to find himself in ridiculous scenarios

Always been a fighter, but tries not to fight unless the other person starts it. Will also step in to defend others when they are being harassed.

Started out in New York, traveled in Europe for a bit before he ended up being hired by Smoke and Mac for the Dreemur family as a bodyguard/muscle. Has worked for them since he was 20.

Shortly after being hired by the Dreemur family, Tillie was targeted in an attempt to get at him. She lived through the attack but can no longer walk on her own. She is now under constant protection by the family and handles all of their financials and books.

Had a double mastectomy while in Europe, suffered a minor infection but otherwise healed well. Cut hair and invested in an entirely new wardrobe, along with vocal training.

Currently not on any specific jobs, mostly just keeping an eye out for anything he might need to report back to the family. Has taken to visiting some of the local night clubs.

Fun Facts

While he claims to not have the dexterity for it, is actually half decent at sleight of hand tricks. Mostly learned them as a way to kill time.

He and Mac (Mafiatale Papayrus) once dated for a bit but ultimately decided they made better friends and coworkers than lovers.

Can sing, although is shy about singing in front of other people.

Enters underground fighting competitions from time to time, just for fun.

Enjoys a bit of play fighting and rough housing.

Enjoys baking, mostly makes small things like cookies, muffins, etc.

Feeds the stray animals in his neighborhood, they often follow him up and down the street that his house is on.
