What do you do if you get art block?

Consume as much of all of my favorite media as humanly possible I mean ALL of it I watch YT, I watch TV series, I look at my friends art, I look at classical art, I re-watch the entirety of MadnessCombat (for the ump-teenth time) just so I can get inspiration And even if I don't draw anything concrete I do draw SOMETHING even if it's just silly skribbles, I try to keep it up It may just be a silly doodle face or coloring an old sketch but I try to at least loosen my hand and not get out of shape when it comes to drawing I don't rush it tho Sometimes I don't even look at what I doodle I just don't want to make the act of picking up a pen a chore It should always stay as something fun or normal The moment it feels like a chore I STOP and do something entirely else I walk the dog, I water my plants, I play with my parakeets, I listen to music and do a lil dance And once the bad feelings are all gone I return and take the pen back and just doodle After a bit that usually gets me out of the rut

it's different for everyone of course but I find that not forcing myself to do art leads me right back into it

Not sure if this helps anyone but that is what I do
