The Audience Deco Sim Megaproject is done!!

I needed a serious amount of audience sims for the Little Shop of Horrors Musical I put on my simblr, and for the future in general. Thus this megaproject was born. I would HIGHLY recc. using the search function liberally when placing these. searching "Sitting, Clapping, Casualwear, Partywear, or Formalwear" is the easiest way to get what you want quickly! However, I hope these are in general useful. I've found that I can now easily populate an auditorium with these sims!

The Audience Deco Sim zip includes:

120 Deco Sims: 20 Sims both sitting and standing for each outfit category!

🎃 What character continues to light up your mind and inspire you to write more?

*rubs hands together* Diego inspires me to write his story because I love the arc I have planned for him. I want to see him grow as a person and into himself! Right now he's a moody teenage boy with an unrequited crush and complex feelings about his identity. I find him relatable in a lot of ways and it's fun to make him miserable (enrichment! for me!)

Tati inspires me to write her story because she is so different from any other character I write. She's weird, but she's confident. She is also a mystery in a lot of ways to me, because I know where she is ending up and how I want her story to go, but not all of the steps she will take to get there! The challenge of it inspires me and makes it fun to write her!

Gia and Sam inspire me with their complicated dynamic. I love how opposite they are of one another as individuals and I am excited to get into that soon as well as the way they both handle conflict. I think the excitement of winding them both up and watching them go is what inspires me to write them both.

In conclusion (tl;dr), I am inspired by them all because they're neat little guys going through some stuff and it's fun for me to puzzle it all together and make it happen in story.

Ooh, I think I've made it pretty obvious to some people but I'd definitely be best friends with Val because of how sweet and supportive she is. I just know she'd always hype me up lmao.

Born and raised in Windenburg, Luca isn’t a stranger to Windenburg’s party and nightlife scene. On the contrary, as a passionate and skilled mixologist at the Narwhal Arms, he’s the life of the party. Always a flirt but not a man for a night, Luca broke more than one tourist’s heart. Wherever he shows up, he’s turning heads. His pastel pink hair may be one reason for that. His most recent romance was with a scientist called Rae Haris Patterson. They broke up because Rae got fed up with Luca’s habit of flirting with customers or people in general. Working and hanging out with his bestie Candy and the party people distracted Luca for a while. When Luca saw the announcement, and especially Taine, Luca didn’t think twice about submitting an application. He feels Taine and himself have lots in common, so maybe it will work out. If it doesn't, Luca’s here for the ride and a good time.

Random Facts

Luca’s natural hair color is dark brown.

Luca studied sports science for about three semesters before dropping out and working as a mixologist full-time.

Although he’s of Italian heritage, he doesn’t speak a lick of Italian. Except for some swear words, of course.

Introducing... Amari & Sven for @madebycoffee

Amari Oates (29, Straight?) has dreams of making it big in music and dance. He’s smooth, confident, friendly and always looking for his next adventure. He has so much energy he nicknames himself the energizer bunny (and I’ll let you interpret that how you want 😏), however this comes with a drawback. He’s often restless and this includes socially where he may want to move too quickly. He keeps himself in great condition through dance, calisthenics and yoga. He lost his hearing in one ear due to a childhood illness but this didn’t stop him leaning to spin the decks. He’s entering the challenge with eyes for Xiomara, and maybe to sneakily gain some fame too👀 . Originally from Oasis Springs, Amari moved to San Myshuno to achieve his dream of being a professional dancer (Bailey Kay hit him up pls🥹) Only it hasn’t quite worked out. But he’s never worried! His slightly better than average DJ skills have kept him living comfortably in San Myshuno. Right??

Wrong. The increase in living costs has hit the sims world hard. And with these living costs, Amari has had to get a roommate. Which brings us to:

Sven Lingaard (31, Bisexual). An upbeat, very handy, but incredibly messy gentleman. Sven comes from a large family originally from Widenburg. They moved to Henford on Bagley, purchased a 50x40 plot of land and built a farm. Sven is not shy of hard work, and anything that broken he can fix. Now, despite Sven coming from a big family (five brothers and sisters), he can be reserved and almost naïve at times. He hasn’t had many experiences and in fact has only had one partner in life (his high school sweetheart called ?????) He prefers a slow burn type of romance. He’s decided to try new things from moving to San My, to entering the bachelor/ette hopefully winning the heart of either Xiomara or Taine.

Roommate dynamic and other points:

These two have only known each other for a short while. They’re sort of friends, but can clash at times. Amari isn’t a exactly tidy himself but he has a really hard time with Sven’s untidiness (think constantly muddy boots, dirty clothing and plates across the apartment). 

Sven works the morning shift as a fisherman but Amari’s late night dance rehearsals or mixing means a lack of sleep at least three times a week. 

Sven would love a big family one day (soon). He has a very good relationship with his family and couldn’t dream of having anything less than five kids. Amari is neutral on this topic but perhaps someone can change his mind...

Because Amari doesn’t worry about things, he can fail to realise the importance of some situations. This is why he hasn’t gotten a steady job.

Sven likes to craft beer...or juice 😏. He currently only does this for personal use. Even if Amari is often “borrowing” a bottle or two (pre-drinks amirite?)

Amari’s confidence means he likes to show off. A lot. He can come across as arrogant. But just give him a reality check and he’ll pack it in.

Anyway, I hope you, Xiomara and Taine like them both!

🩶 Which one apologizes first? How do they apologize?

Unfortunately, I don't think Freddy or Emily have quite figured out how to communicate with one another, and apologies are difficult for them. I think they're a couple who don't really apologize, they'll go off and sulk separately and then come back and pick up where they left off without really addressing whatever it was that caused the rift in the first place.

🤍 What is their favorite or most admired quality in the other?

Both Mary and Rosalind admire one another's confidence, but it manifests differently for each of them. Rosalind has never doubted the monarchy or her role within it. She is a perpetual motion machine, always working or reviewing her itinerary and planning her next move. Mary, in contrast, is very still and reflective, certain of herself but not her place in the world. Mary admires Rosalind's clarity of vision and her ambition, Rosalind admires Mary's capacity to exist solely in the moment.

💜 How do they silently show love or affection towards the other?

I don't think @nexility-sims and I have ever discussed this in any great depth, but we've talked a bit about Andre being a clingy/cuddly sleeper...I think in general, he's very touchy-feely with Leonor. They were apart for so long that I think he wants as much physical contact as possible when they're together. He's making up for lost time.
