Working on some soft stretchy bag patterns. Definitely going to need a larger crochet hook to keep the stitches consistent, rather than the loose crocheting I'm doing now with my little 3.75mm.
In the meantime these will serve just fine for stress testing how much they can hold and how comfortable the straps are.

Terrify the Dark
I'm not very good at drawing human bodies or faces, but this has been bouncing around in my head for a while and I'm proud enough of how this turned out.
Inspired by {this image} by Mario Rapisardi that I've always loved, but I wanted to try my hand at making Him look more triumphant and welcoming.
(it's 5x7 on the off chance anyone likes it enough to use for their altar like I plan to)

i made 10 of each, which ended up being several hours of work, but it's really satisfying seeing the stacks of zines ready to hand out.
#madax makes#the cardstock doesn't hold the design well when it's fresh out of the printer and gets smudged at literally anything#which adds a nice grungy aesthetic#but i do need to thicken the lines on WHK's cover art in the future if it want it to hold up#zines

i used weight 3 [Vanilla Almond] yarn with a size B/1-2.25mm hook and 6mm safety eyes. body is stuffed with weighted pellets, head with poly-fil stuffing.
#thought id share something nice since i've been posting a lot of downer shit lately#plus this pattern is really fun and cute#the yarn has a gradient to it but she was too small to show off the full range#hence why her ears and arms are a different color to her head and body#her tail is pure white tho and i think the mixed colors works really well#madax makes

i need to post all of the cute little dinosaurs and unicorns i made (i can't believe i finished them all as fast as i did!) but i have so much leftover yarn i need to use it. so i made a bag to wrap my sister's gift.
it ended up working so well i wrote down the pattern so i could make more! and they're stiff enough to function as free standing baskets. store brand soda cans for scale lol

fyi if anyone has been wondering where ive been and why I'm not posting stories/writing (not that I owe the world "content" more just to give anyone who's curious an update) ive been doing a fuckload of crochet to hopefully get a table at one of the upcoming fairs and expos, as well as big holiday projects for friends and family.
