Blog Update
If you haven’t received a notification about a new blog from me in a while, it’s not because of an issue with your email. It’s that I haven’t done an update recently. I have no real excuse, just laziness, I suppose, though truly, I’ve been anything but lazy. Now that the rains have passed, the days are brighter, and the temperatures are drifting closer to the 100˚ mark, I’ve been able to set…

I rescued these plants in the late fall, it's been a few months since, (the one I was asking about is identified as 'Madagascar periwinkle') and I wanted to show you how they were doing now!
A couple of them did not make it, in fact, the biggest ones that seemed to be doing the best, have suddenly given up, I believe the transplanting process was too much for them, or they were too stunted and damaged to keep hanging on. But, not all of them did badly! In fact, I have one begonia that is doing just fine, and another one in flowering!

These plants are supposed to be in flower, always, but I have to assume since they were stunted and abandoned, they were just struggling to survive at all, and this green one has adapted the best. I haven't been paying a lot of attention to them, but I couldn't not notice the pretty red flowers. Flowers in February, how nice is that!
The periwinkle lost her flowers soon after the transplant, but she is looking okay, there are very few yellow leaves now, and the new leaves on the top are nice and green:

I'm pleased with it! These plants have the ability to grow very large and multiply, and they're all the type that can produce flowers all year round. I'm so glad I picked them up and kept them.
Can anyone tell me what plant this is? I found it abandoned at the edge of the community garden, together with some begonias!

These are the other plants I also took.

There’s three begonias, and there’s one just like this unknown one, but with white flowers, so this plant can have either pinkish red, or white flowers.
They’re all in pretty bad shape, and I want to try rescuing them, they could be great houseplants!
