˖ ࣪ . 🎮࿐ ♡ ˚ .  PL8YER, pronounced as PLAYER, is a five -member fictional girl group. They debuted on June 28th,2021 under SM ENTERTAINMENT. The group was formed from a girl group called FINDING PL8YER before making their debut in as five with the song STEREOTYPE.

The members of the group faced heavy amounts of backlash when they made their debut especially the youngest and one of the foreign members, and the groups final lineup was very controversial making more of the groups debut less anticipated by fans. But once the girls debuted kpop fans came together to praise the girls. The girls began to gain notable traction when they did a dance practice with live vocals and became considered a monster rookie group after being nominated for multiple Rookie of the Year awards.

Over the years, PL8YER has been known to have their own distinct style. They have been praised for having such diverse concepts each comeback managing to put there gaming concept into the different concepts the did and also manage to keep their unique but recognizable sound.
