I just read the Pitchfork article and it turns out that it's a solo musician rather than a band and that he used to go by the name of "Run DMT".

I'm quite impressed now that I've listened to him!

i thought the lyrics sounded more like ‘we just weren’t feeling how we wanted to/you try sometimes but you just can’t figure out what went wrong/and out of nowhere somebody comes and hits you with an ooh la la la’ but both sort of work? i guess we'd have to wait for more recordings!

the first sentence there i was struggling so much with idek what i ended up writing?? 

i mean i rewrote it so much and listened just to it like 20 times more than most of the song?

but i kinda feel like i got the "you sit and try sometime that you just cant figure out what went wrong and out of nowhere somebody comes and hits you with an  ‘ooooh la lala’" right?

but hey gig recording and all, we could both be wrong and it could be a sound error and he really said 'i can smell your poodles' so....

i do this on my website and we’ve had loads and they’ve all been so different and lovely and it’s nice to know what they’re all into :-)

it's a really good idea!! it makes me feel like i know them and what they like a little better (plus it's always cool when you have music taste similar to theirs) :-)

Last night I dreamt that Charlotte (m00ncr00ner) and I were swimming in the lake toward Hogwarts and it was about to rain...  Then it started to rain huge rocks.

Let me tell you about my weekend...

Friday: Finished college at 12:25 and went up to bury with a few mates. We went to the arcade and played pool till about half two or something like that, then i left to go and get ready for an 18th. I didn't know the guy who's party it was but my friend Faye (atlforever.tumblr.com - go and follow her) basically invited me and a load of other college friends. Faye picked me up at 7:20 and we went to Tom's party (hey, at least i knew his name). So that involved drinking, smoking, kissing and dirty dancing before leaving (wrecked) somewhere in the vicinity of midnight and getting the met home with Liam (curly-monster.tumblr.com - go and follow him) and finally getting in sometime before 1. I was then on the phone to Kate till some ridiculous time, eating bread, drinking water and telling her about my night, which was REALLY fun. Saturday: Wandered to Manchester, hungover, at half two ish and saw my babba Will. My best friend Charlotte (m00ncr00ner.tumblr.com - go and follow her) was interviewing Folks for her magazine so me, her and Helen (ohmummywhatsasexpistol.tumblr.com - go and follow her) wandered over to the Ritz. (We also briefly saw Kerry and Sophie but they wandered away). We then saw Miles Kane getting out of a van so I went over to him to ask for a picture. He kindly obliged. He then went on to query whether we had met before (which we have), which means he remembered me! He told me he liked my coat and then wandered off inside. After starbucks with Charlotte, Helen, and Charlotte's mum Jill, I went to Helen's house and met her family friends: ben, simon, and their parents. They're all really lovely people and later that night me, helen, ben and simon chilled in helen's room and watched Shaun of the Dead. Proper good film. Sunday: Woke up at like 12 or something and started watching Doctor Who (the lodger) before helen's dad told us to get dressed because we were going to GoApe. it's this adventure park type thing in delamere forest which involved zipwires, tarzan swings and heights. one of the tarzan swings was basically a vertical drop which killed your thighs (cause they were in a harness which dug into you). The last zipwire was about 200 foot long and i'm very proud of the fact that i shouted 'GERONIMO' as i jumped off. (on the first one i shouted 'alonze'). it was a beautiful moment. so yeah, that's my weekend.
