What about Team Galaxy being interconnected to Martin Mystery??
I must admit, I've never heard of < Team Galaxy > until researching for the Totally Spies post. From the community posts, I can definitely see how it also connects with the Marathon (the studio) Universe.
Tumblr media
Apparently, there is [a M.O.M-look alike], shown to be married in a flashback picture. Which yes, is a good idea but it could be a studio inside joke. Where the creators want to put in Eastereggs for fun.
Like how in Totally Spies, there have been Martin, Marvin, Diana and Jenni look-alikes. I like to think, it went from a fun cameo to a proper episode like in < Totally Mystery Much? >

Jumping On: New Story Arcs Kicking Off On July 21, 2021
One of the hardest and most frustrating things about finding new comics to read and enjoy is finding a good jumping on point. It can be confusing and disheartening to pick up a single issue from the middle of an arc without having the context of the previous chapters. With that in mind, here are some titles kicking off new story arcs and a few interesting #1’s premiering this upcoming New Comic…

m.o.m thoughts. spoilers under cut.
i can foresee the fandom reactions already and uh. let’s just say i’m glad my dash is very curated.
overall a pretty fun movie. i like the premise. i remember reading a post a while ago about how the cinematic universe now resembles the absolute chaos of the many, many comic universes, and i think it holds up. it’s a very good cinematic take on the overlapping universes of the comics. i like the idea.
a strange comment (ba-dum tss) to make this early on in the list, but you have no idea how happy i am that marvel remembers that hk speaks cantonese and actually hired someone who knows how to speak canto to play the hk sanctum leader. granted her pronunciation is so deliberate it sounds like she spent her entire life in a drama school/disneyland, but hey. i take what i can. we love them for that.
the cameos were god tier. we know hayley and lashana are in it. and i will say, if you liked lashana in no time to die, you will love her captain marvel ‘fit.
(reed richard was arguably the most underwhelming cameo tho, tbh)
peggy. my beloved. it’s been a long long time.
That Being Said.
i think i heard that scarlet witch was supposed to be a villain in the comics, and i can respect that.
but couldn’t we save wanda? she never asked to be the scarlet witch. couldn’t she have been more than a tragedy?
especially when you’ve brought out the Big Guns of reclaiming mind powers. you brought out Chawl, dammit. and yea i think in the comics chawl couldn’t save wanda either? but seriously. did it have to be like this?
also bringing back peggy and maria only to kill them like five minutes later was really bad form, marvel. i will die for both of my captains. answer my calls dammit.
not that i did not enjoy every single second of those five minutes, and peggy in that cap suit with a shield cleansed my soul cleared my skin and watered my crops. but dammit.
i can’t believe that for an inhuman ref they went with inhumans the show instead of aos. rip to the og marvel/abc shows i guess. marvel studios be like ac/aos who.
i like america chavez. yea. i don’t know how to expand on that but i like her, yea.
christine palmer. my underrated queen. i have missed you so much.
so when they first started making the movie they said they incorporated horror tropes yeah? they definitely delivered on that. it was a very good balance of a marvel movie and horror tropes. i cannot do horror movies at all, but i enjoyed those moments.
i like the theme of exploring the idea of ‘there’s only one way’. the idea of consequences of a superhero’s choice, especially in relation to people who have universe-bending powers like strange.
overall: not marvel’s best, but most certainly not the worst.

Solo's Emilia Clarke Was Given Some Strange Audition Material When She Read For The Star Wars Movie
Auditions are a necessary evil of show business. While they can be anxiety-inducing for the actors involved, auditions give the director(s) a solid idea of how an actor could embody a certain character. But what happens when the script an actor is given isn’t from the project they’re auditioning for? Just ask Emilia Clarke going off her experience on Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The star of Solo and resident Mother of Dragons sat down with Variety to talk about her latest project, the comic book series M.O.M: Mother of Madness, and her role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series Secret Invasion. Emilia Clarke revealed that the audition process for Marvel and Star Wars was actually quite similar, saying:
“The people behind it are the best at what they do; it’s amazing to be a part of that high pedigree. But Marvel, Star Wars, they all give you fake audition sides. I remember for ‘Star Wars,’ the character I read was a made-up music producer.”
Being a huge Emilia fan myself. It seems crazy - at least, at first glance. What would be the point of giving Emilia Clarke fake sides? Wouldn’t the director want to see her read the lines of the character she was auditioning for?
Maybe not. When it comes to huge franchises like the Star Wars saga and Marvel, the threat of spoilers is a major concern. A new film could stand to rake in billions of dollars at the box office, with most of that money coming from fans who are eager to learn what happens next. If an actor auditioned for the next Marvel movie, for example, and didn’t get the part, they would still have had access to a normally top-secret script. Emilia Clarke, who played Qi’ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story, could have learned a spoiler or two from her audition and leaked it to the press. Not that I think she would, of course, but it’s a possibility that studio executives have to consider.
Marvel producers especially have a reputation for guarding new plots with their lives (well, maybe not their lives, but pretty close). If anything even close to resembling a spoiler gets out, Marvel is quick to take action. In a 2019 red carpet interview, Gywneth Paltrow slipped up and mentioned that she had been filming with the cast of multiple movies. The only version of that interview that exists now has that snippet cut out.
Star Wars is no different. When a possible spoiler for The Rise of Skywalker was shown for a split second in a new trailer, it was taken down almost immediately after a particularly eagle-eyed fan caught the mistake. When spoilers can pop up even in professionally edited trailers, giving an actor a fake script seems a little less strange. While it’s not an ideal situation for an actor, it helps protect a potentially profitable project.
As far as Emilia Clarke's role as Qi'ra goes, while there are no plans for the character to return in something like Solo 2, she has popped up in the Star Wars comics realm.

[ENG] Yoho!Girl article - “I’m Huang Zitao|I have the final say on my life!”
link to source http://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/PUx79TVKIWaoThl-qVgVVQ
Yesterday was Huang Zitao’s birthday. Today we at Yoho!Girl present everyone with the final version of the concept trailer for Huang Zitao’s 2017 Promise Concert Tour that we’ve mentioned before. Hailangs! Come and understand the mind of talented TaoTao who’s wholly immersed in the world of music!
At the recent Beijing stop of the Promise Concert Tour, Huang Zitao performed 19 songs live, perfectly interpreting the unique charms of C-Pop. Come take a look at style of his concert with Yoho!Girl
At the Beijing stop, he actually sang a Jay Chou’s classic, “Silence”. He even performed live, the concert’s theme song, “Promise” and performed a new dance.
At the concert, Huang Zitao sang songs like Adore, New Day, Cinderella Girl, M.O.M, Reluctantly etc, all 19 original songs in which he did almost all the writing and composing for. Of the songs, “Underground King”, which caused such a storm in the concert in Nanjing last year was completely turned around. Huang Zitao made his “declarations”, and was super-duper cool, leading all the fans to dance along together.
As 2nd May is his 24th birthday, fans specially prepared a heart-warming and funny birthday celebration for him. Not only did he DIY a birthday cake with them, he even played counsellor on the spot, saying that “Today’s birthday cake is like a blank paper, symbolizing life.  C-POP is a dream that I want to fulfil. Even though my drawing may be ugly, but I’ll complete it. Even though there are many trials and hardships on this journey, it’s okie. I’ll complete it with determination.”
Today’s 3rd May, and Yoho!Girl has also prepared a birthday present for Huang Zitao. It is the promotional trailer for his concert tour made jointly by him and us. IT’s like a video recording of his maturing, that will accompany him on his music journey that’s constantly moving ahead.
Y: Do you like socializing?
H: I’ll talk to the person if I like him. It’s simple, I’m just following my feelings. I won’t say things like this or that.
Y: Do you think you are an accomplished youth with the right and proper set of values?
H: I don’t know about that. Others will have to judge.
Y: So can you talk about your outlook on life then?
H: My outlook on life.. there’s too much of it. I feel that everyone should have their own lives, but a lot of people wouldn’t understand my life even if I were to talk about it. So, I’m the one who has the final say on it.
Y: Would you consider your insistence on being yourself as your outlook on life?
H: I think it still depends on the individual. Previously I have always said to just be yourself. But when you think about it carefully, not everyone can be like me and just be themselves. Because everyone has different reasons and are under different circumstances. So a lot of people may wish to do so but he/she can’t do it. But I just feel that if some people were to simply be themselves, they won’t be able to get a lot of things. So perhaps, one may do things that one do not wish to do for the sake of gaining some things.
Y: Do you think you have adjusted to the role of being an artist?
H: I have said it several times. I have never considered or treated myself as an artist. I don’t care about how other artists may feel and view this. But to me, be it being an actor or singer, well, other than the music that I love, those are the other things that I’m willing to do, such as filming.  Of course now I also like filming a lot. But even so, I feel that there’s no need to position myself as an artist. Because this is just a job.
Y: It’s more individualistic when making music, while filming a movie requires more team work and cooperation. Do you feel that way?
H: well, making music is just that, making music. Filming is filming. I keep it very separate and do what’s supposed to be done.
Y: What is the thing you enjoy most about making music?
H: The most enjoyable is listening to music, and then when inspiration strikes, writing the lyrics and singing along.  That sense of achievement, after I’m done with the lyrics and recording. I especially like sharing the music I’ve just made with other people. My new songs are all done and will slowly be revealed. Plus, the music produced this time round is totally different from those done previously.
Y: How different would it be?
H: Be it in terms of the genre/style, or the tunes and lyrics, it’s all going to be pretty different. People may not dare to believe that these are songs written by Huang Zitao.
Y: What standards do you demand of your works?
H: How do I put this? Comfortable, and I prefer new and trendy things. I like to continually break and surpass my limits. I can’t possibly be fixed in one style or genre forever. I like to make even more new and different things for everyone to hear. That’s one thing I demand of myself. Actually, why do I compose and write these songs? It’s because of these things. Firstly, it’s for me, I want these songs to become part of my life and experiences. Secondly, I want more people to hear my thoughts, and then at the same time, open up their mind, so that they can feel that the songs I write actually resonates a lot with them.
Y: What’s your style of creating/composing?
H: Usually if I say I want to write the lyrics for this, then I have to write it out today. I always only make music when I wish to. When I don’t want to, I don’t write any. When that happens, I might not write a single song for half a year. But when it strikes me, I can make 20 songs a day. It’s a matter of inspiration. When you feel inspired on one day, you may be able to compose the tune and write out the lyrics to a song immediately. But actually, occasionally, even if you feel inspired, the tune comes out only when you are done with the lyrics. However, there are also times where you can only get the tune out but there’s some difficulty coming up with the lyrics.
Y: Do you rest in between recordings?
H: Definitely. You definitely have to rest after singing all day. Because I’ve very relaxed. When I’m making music, I really just go with the flow of things. So I’m very relaxed. When I rest, I may rest for an hour before going into recording again. When recording a song, I usually take about 6 hours or so. It depends on the complexity of the songs. For example, it may take longer for a rap. Because there are more lyrics, and the structure and layers to it are different and particularly complex.
Y: Do you feel troubled by the lack of privacy?
H: Privacy is definitely important. But sometimes, I don’t really have much of that. When I’m in Beijing, I stay in the recording studio and then go home, drink wine at home at night. I rarely go out.
Y: As a public figure, your every move and word is magnified, interpreted and even mis-read. Have you ever been worried about that?
H: Many people have said before that I shouldn’t say things in a certain way. You have to say it this way instead, because only then will everyone like you. But actually a lot of times, I feel that that really goes against my conscience. Because it is true that many other people have done things wrongly. If I’m not happy about it, why can’t I say it? I’m still me, I’ll say what I have to say. I’m a straightforward person, I really am. Be it with friends or at work. I’m just very frank. I won’t care who you are, how great or how high a status you may have. It doesn’t concern me. If I like you, I’ll take to you. If I don’t then I simply won’t bother with you. So I don’t treat myself as an artist. Those artists to me are also not artists. They are also just working, and everyone works in different areas. There’s no high or low, or things to look down upon. Everyone’s having a tough time.
Y: The entertainment industry is a social circle. Is it really fine for you to be alone like this?
H: First of all, I’m not a loner. I have my own friends too. But there’s something that I’ve done very well at. I almost never ask anything of anyone. I don’t trouble others. I don’t ask them to reblog my weibo or friends’ circle posts. I also buy a lot of my own branded clothes, and do not ask the brands for it, other than those I’m endorsing. What’s my principle since young? To depend on yourself. Because no one can help you till the end. You only have yourself. Get yourself on firm ground, and depend on your own strengths and charisma. Once you’ve elevated yourself to a certain height, then everything will come. There’s no use begging others, and I don’t like troubling other people.
Y: But overly individualistic people tend to become arrogant and egoistical. How do you keep yourself clear and level headed?
H: You know why so many artists have such inflated egos these days? It’s because too many people praise them, until they no longer know who they are. Nobody says bad things about them. Nobody dares to so they never know what’s wrong with them and what direction they should be going in. So I think a lot of people do not quite understand the values that an artist should have. Just like me saying that, for an artist, in each and every job, you are nothing without the production team who’s supporting and putting in work behind you. Just like me today, the lighting technician’s been squatting and holding the light the entire time. The cameraman’s been moving around with the camera. Without them, who’s going to be recording things? It’s the same with filming dramas and movies. You don’t become an artist simply by yourself. You only become one with the quiet support and efforts put in by others. So all those things about acting like a big shot etc shouldn’t exist. Just do your job well, leave a good impression on everyone. Be able to live up to yourself, to the staff and director, then I feel it’s ok. Don’t put on airs.
Y: Do you have any career goals?
H: I’m starting to make my own things now. In the future I may producing movies, dramas etc, by myself.
Y: As you get more and more popular, do you start to feel lonely at the top?
H: No. And it doesn’t matter to me whether I’m popular or not. Be it for my movies or music, I only have one goal, and that is to win the recognition of the professional people in the industry!
Y: You seem to have practiced your set of values pretty well so far?
H: Firstly I don't ask to be popular. Secondly, I’m not after money. I’m just doing the things I like, and my own job. I will not go against my own will or that of others, nor will I harm them. I’m climbing up one solid step at a time. I believe that I will have a very good future. And I don’t seek to compare with others. That’s my values. I never compare, I just concentrate on being the best person I can be. I’m just completing my works as best as I can. I want everyone to see my professionalism and respect for this job, and the sort of person I am, if I can achieve all that I’ve said. So long as it’s something that I, Huang Zitao have said, I definitely can do it. My dreams will definitely be fulfilled. That’s the confidence I have in myself, so it doesn’t matter what others like to say.

MozCon 2018: The Initial Agenda
MozCon 2018: The Initial Agenda
Posted by Trevor-Klein
With just over three months until MozCon 2018, we're getting a great picture of what this year's show will be like, and we can't wait to share some of the details with you today.
We've got 21 speakers lined up (and will be launching our Community Speaker process soon — stay tuned for more details on how to make your pitch!). You'll see some familiar faces, and some who'll be on the MozCon stage for the first time, with topics ranging from the evolution of searcher intent to the increasing importance of local SEO, and from navigating bureaucracy for buy-in to cutting the noise out of your reporting.
Topic details and the final agenda are still in the works, but we're excited enough about the conversations we've had with speakers that we wanted to give you a sneak peek. We hope to see you in Seattle this July 9–11!
If you still need your tickets, we've got you covered:
Pick up your ticket to MozCon!
The Speakers
Here's a look at who you'll see on stage this year, along with some of the topics we've already worked out:
Jono Alderson
Mad Scientist, Yoast
The Democratization of SEO
Jono will explore how much time and money we collectively burn by fixing the same kinds of basic, "binary," well-defined things over and over again (e.g., meta tags, 404s, URLs, etc), when we could be teaching others throughout our organizations not to break them in the first place.
As long as we "own" technical SEO, there's no reason (for example) for the average developer to learn it or care — so they keep making the same mistakes. We proclaim that others are doing things wrong, but by doing so we only reinforce the line between our skills and theirs.
We need to start giving away bits of the SEO discipline, and technical SEO is probably the easiest thing for us to stop owning.
In his talk, he'll push for more democratization, education, collaboration, and investment in open source projects so we can fix things once, rather than a million times.
Stephanie Briggs
Partner, Briggsby
Search-Driven Content Strategy
Google's improvements in understanding language and search intent have changed how and why content ranks. As a result, many SEOs are chasing rankings that Google has already decided are hopeless.
Stephanie will cover how this should impact the way you write and optimize content for search, and will help you identify the right content opportunities. She'll teach you how to persuade organizations to invest in content, and will share examples of strategies and tactics she has used to grow content programs by millions of visits.
Rob Bucci
CEO, STAT Search Analytics
"Near me" or Far: How Google May Be Deciding Your Local Intent for You
In August 2017, Google stated that local searches without the "near me" modifier had grown by 150% and that searchers were beginning to drop geo-modifiers — like zip code and neighborhood — from local queries altogether. But does Google still know what searchers are after?
For example: the query [best breakfast places] suggests that quality takes top priority; [breakfast places near me] indicates that close proximity is essential; and [breakfast places in Seattle] seems to cast a city-wide net; while [breakfast places] is largely ambiguous.
By comparing non-geo-modified keywords against those modified with the prepositional phrases "near me" and "in [city name]" and qualifiers like “best,” we hope to understand how Google interprets different levels of local intent and uncover patterns in the types of SERPs produced.
With a better understanding of how local SERPs behave, SEOs can refine keyword lists, tailor content, and build targeted campaigns accordingly.
Neil Crist
VP of Product, Moz
The Local Sweet Spot: Automation Isn't Enough
Some practitioners of local SEO swear by manual curation, claiming that automation skips over the most important parts. Some swear the exact opposite. The real answer, especially when you're working at enterprise scale, is a sweet spot in the middle.
In this talk, Neil will show you where that spot is, why different verticals require different work, and some original research that reveals which of those verticals are most stable.
Dana DiTomaso
President and Partner, Kick Point
Traffic vs. Signal
With an ever-increasing slate of options in tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio, marketers of all stripes are falling prey to the habit of "I'll collect this data because maybe I'll need it eventually," when in reality it's creating a lot of noise for zero signal.
We're still approaching our metrics from the organization's perspective, and not from the customer's perspective. Why, for example, are we not reporting on (or even thinking about, really) how quickly a customer can do what they need to do? Why are we still fixated on pageviews? In this talk, Dana will focus our attention on what really matters.
Rand Fishkin
Founder, SparkToro, Moz, & Inbound.org
A man who needs no introduction to MozCon, we're thrilled to announce that Rand will be back on stage this year after founding his new company, SparkToro. Topic development for his talk is in the works; check back for more information!
Oli Gardner
Co-Founder, Unbounce
Content Marketing Is Broken and Only Your M.O.M. Can Save You
Traditional content marketing focuses on educational value at the expense of product value, which is a broken and outdated way of thinking. We all need to sell a product, and our visitors all need a product to improve their lives, but we're so afraid of being seen as salesy that somehow we got lost, and we forgot why our content even exists.
We need our M.O.M.s!
No, he isn't talking about your actual mother. He's talking about your Marketing Optimization Map — your guide to exploring the nuances of optimized content marketing through a product-focused lens.
In this session you'll learn:
Data and lessons learned from his biggest ever content marketing experiment, and how those lessons have changed his approach to content
A context-to-content-to-conversion strategy for big content that converts
Advanced methods for creating "choose your own adventure" navigational experiences to build event-based behavioral profiles of your visitors (using GTM and GA)
Innovative ways to productize and market the technology you already have, with use cases your customers had never considered
Casie Gillette
Senior Director, Digital Marketing, KoMarketing
The Problem with Content & Other Things We Don't Want to Admit
Everyone thinks they need content but they don't think about why they need it or what they actually need to create. As a result, we are overwhelmed with poor quality content and marketers are struggling to prove the value.
In this session, we'll look at some of the key challenges facing marketers today and how a data-driven strategy can help us make better decisions.
Emily Grossman
Mobile Product Marketer & App Strategist
What All Marketers Can Do about Site Speed
At this point, we should all have some idea of how important site speed is to our performance in search. The recently announced "speed update" underscored that fact yet again. It isn't always easy for marketers to know where to start improving their site's speed, though, and a lot of folks mistakenly believe that site speed should only be a developer's problem. Emily will clear that up with an actionable tour of just how much impact our own work can have on getting our sites to load quickly enough for today's standards.
Russ Jones
Principal Search Scientist, Moz
Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics
Russ is our principal search scientist here at Moz. After a decade as CTO of an agency, he joined Moz to focus on what he's most interested in: research and development, primarily related to keyword and link data. He's responsible for many of our most forward-looking techniques.
At MozCon this year, he's looking to focus on cutting through bad metrics with far better metrics, exploring the hidden assumptions and errors in things our industry regularly reports, showing us all how we can paint a more accurate picture of what's going on.
Justine Jordan
VP Marketing, Litmus
A veteran of the MozCon stage, Justine is obsessed with helping marketers create, test, and send better email. Named an Email Marketer Thought Leader of the Year, she is strangely passionate about email marketing, hates being called a spammer, and still gets nervous when pressing send.
At MozCon this year, she's looking to cover the importance of engagement with emails in today's world of marketing. With the upcoming arrival of GDPR and the ease with which you can unsubscribe and report spam, it's more important than ever to treat people like people instead of just leads.
Michael King
Managing Director, iPullRank
You Don't Know SEO
Or maybe, "SEO you don't know you don't know." We've all heard people throw jargon around in an effort to sound smart when they clearly don't know what it means, and our industry of SEO is no exception. There are aspects of search that are acknowledged as important, but seldom actually understood. Mike will save us from awkward moments, taking complex topics like the esoteric components of information retrieval and log-file analysis, pairing them with a detailed understanding of technical implementation of common SEO recommendations, and transforming them into tools and insights we wish we'd never neglected.
Cindy Krum
CEO & Founder, MobileMoxie
Mobile-First Indexing or a Whole New Google
The emergence of voice-search and Google Assistant is forcing Google to change its model in search, to favor their own entity understanding or the world, so that questions and queries can be answered in context. Many marketers are struggling to understand how their website and their job as an SEO or SEM will change, as searches focus more on entity-understanding, context and action-oriented interaction. This shift can either provide massive opportunities, or create massive threats to your company and your job — the main determining factor is how you choose to prepare for the change.
Dr. Pete Meyers
Marketing Scientist, Moz
Dr. Peter J. Meyers (AKA "Dr. Pete") is a Marketing Scientist for Seattle-based Moz, where he works with the marketing and data science teams on product research and data-driven content. Guarding the thin line between marketing and data science — which is more like a hallway and pretty wide — he's the architect behind MozCast, the keeper of the Algo History, and watcher of all things Google.
Britney Muller
Senior SEO Scientist, Moz
Britney is Moz's senior SEO scientist. An explorer and investigator at heart, she won't stop digging until she gets to the bottom of some of the most interesting developments in the world of search. You can find her on Whiteboard Friday, and she's currently polishing a new (and dramatically improved!) version of our Beginner's Guide to SEO.
At MozCon this year, she'll show you what she found at the bottom of the rabbit hole to save you the journey.
Lisa Myers
CEO, Verve Search
None of Us Is as Smart as All of Us
Success in SEO, or in any discipline, is frequently reliant on people’s ability to work together. Lisa Myers started Verve Search in 2009, and from the very beginning was convinced of the importance of building a diverse team, then developing and empowering them to find their own solutions.
In this session she’ll share her experiences and offer actionable advice on how to attract, develop and retain the right people in order to build a truly world-class team.
Heather Physioc
Director of Organic Search, VML
Your Red-Tape Toolkit: How to Win Trust and Get Approval for Search Work
Are your search recommendations overlooked and misunderstood? Do you feel like you hit roadblocks at every turn? Are you worried that people don't understand the value of your work? Learn how to navigate corporate bureaucracy and cut through red tape to help clients and colleagues understand your search work — and actually get it implemented. From diagnosing client maturity to communicating where search fits into the big picture, these tools will equip you to overcome obstacles to doing your best work.
Mike Ramsey
President, Nifty Marketing
The Awkward State of Local
You know it exists. You know what a citation is, and have a sense for the importance of accurate listings. But with personalization and localization playing an increasing role in every SERP, local can no longer be seen in its own silo — every search and social marketer should be honing their understanding. For that matter, it's also time for local search marketers to broaden the scope of their work.
Wil Reynolds
Founder & Director of Digital Strategy, Seer Interactive
Excel Is for Rookies: Why Every Search Marketer Needs to Get Strong in BI, ASAP
The analysts are coming for your job, not AI (at least not yet). Analysts stopped using Excel years ago; they use Tableau, Power BI, Looker! They see more data than you, and that is what is going to make them a threat to your job. They might not know search, but they know data. I'll document my obsession with Power BI and the insights I can glean in seconds which is helping every single client at Seer at the speed of light. Search marketers must run to this opportunity, as analysts miss out on the insights because more often than not they use these tools to report. We use them to find insights.
Alexis Sanders
Technical SEO Account Manager, Merkle
Alexis works as a Technical SEO Account Manager at Merkle, ensuring the accuracy, feasibility, and scalability of the agency’s technical recommendations across all verticals. You've likely seen her on the Moz blog, Search Engine Land, OnCrawl, The Raven Blog, and TechnicalSEO.com. She's got a knack for getting the entire industry excited about the more technical aspects of SEO, and if you haven't already, you've got to check out the technical SEO challenge she created at https://TechnicalSEO.expert.
Darren Shaw
Founder, Whitespark
At the forefront of local SEO, Darren is obsessed with knowing all there is to know about local search. He organizes and publishes research initiatives such as the annual Local Search Ranking Factors survey and the Local Search Ecosystem.
At MozCon this year, he'll unveil the newest findings from the Local Search Ranking Factors study, for which he's already noticing significant changes from the last release, letting SEOs of all stripes know how they need to adjust their approach.
