i occasionally browse through sam-hating dean-biased blogs and their opposition because it is interesting to read through opinions you disagree with and form an argument about them (in your head), but i mostly run this segment because it is sooo entertaining how miserable these people are. It always leads to the same conclusion: going too left or right on either brother, and blatantly ignoring that their actions are motivated by their love for each other and their desire to control and possess one another, definitely ruins the spn experience and leaves you angry and confused.

the funniest part of the segment is the groupies cheering and acting as if the biased-blogs arguments are revolutionary. because they are not. it's simply, with the least judgment i say, someone blatantly projecting on a character and being extremely self unaware about it. and it's not even fun like when people know their favorite character is horrible but they enjoy their fucked-upness (me), it just seems tiring.

anyhow, i'm not here to argue that these blogs should deactivate or whatever, i think it's a very interesting indicator of how different people view the same thing, and what the writing of the show has done to people's brains, and i urge every angry biased blog to keep going because it's truly amusing. thank you.

ok i'll make use of my evil blog eventually but this deserves to go on my main

i just saw something that really got at my nerves. it was said in a good nature but a LOT of people need to hear this regardless--

therapy is not accessible to everyone. do not assume that it is. ever.

this especially goes for minors.

for one, its usually expensive as all fuck (at least in the US). not many people have the financial resources to get therapy in the first place.

secondly, minors have to get access to therapy THROUGH THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN. and said parent could be absolute Ass at attending to their child's needs (mine included).

sure, there are certain things you shouldnt say publicly. that goes for anyone, mental health struggles or not. but the solution isn't always "seek help" because some people just... can't.

im heavily reliant on online spaces because i don't have a support group anywhere else. "just get therapy" isnt a viable fucking option for me.

can we please start saying something other than "get professional help/get therapy" when you really mean "stop dumping your shit online"
