Romance Club MC's as Greek deities:
Michelle as Terpsichore:
Muse, Patron and Goddess of Lyric Poetry and Dancing đđ˝đś
Terpsichore is one of the nine Muses, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, and goddess of dance and chorus. She is perhaps the most widely known of the Muses, her name having entered general English as the adjective terpsichorean (âpertaining to dancingâ). In some accounts she was the mother of the half-bird, half-woman Sirens, whose father was the sea god Achelous or the river god Phorcys. Terpsichore is usually depicted sitting down, holding a lyre, accompanying the dancers' choirs with her music. Michelle was chosen as this goddess because she is a choreographer in her story, Seduced by the Rhythm.

Testing my will with temptation she lays down in front of me
Iâm only rewarded for patience when I play her game
She picks up on all my vibrations and plays with my chemistry
She tricks me with all of these visions then takes them away
She knows how to control the thunder and rain or dusk to dawn
Sheâs spinning a tornado she screamed like a banshee all night long
And thatâs how the story goes Iâll burn in the flames of glory âcause
She wonât let me go Iâm in the arms of a Goddess tonight

Hiya!! đđźđ How's it going? Your fashion taste for Zuko in a Modern AU seems to be artsy, or maybe "formal" is the word. That shirt he wore when he gave Sokka romantic song advice looked Versaceđ§. Anyway, I was wondering how you came up with it, he always struck me more as the type that didn´t care much about fashion, so I'm curious about other´s opinions and heacanons about it. And do you have any other fashion headcanons for the rest of the GAang? Also, their music tastes. How did you come up with them? Especially Katara's! đ
Hello! As it happens, I have a lot of Thoughts and Feelings⢠about this, so I'm leaving these over here, and the rest of my ramblings down below the cut!
Let us begin with the Gaang, shall we?
SUKI always struck me as that Pretty Girl from the Gym. She is so incredibly fit it isn't even funny. She could kick anyone's ass, and we'd all thank her. She has this casual gym style that somehow always looks glorious on her, as it should! Comfy yet fashionable clothes for a nice workout or a day in town.
Her music tastes are basically any and all power songs from the eighties and nineties. (Eye of the Tiger, anyone?) She also enjoys metal via Toph, and bands like BSB, NSYNC, or Boyz II Men with Katara. My girl has a very eclectic Playlist and we all love her for it.
SOKKA is That Guyâ˘. Loose T-shirts and shorts everywhere he goes, no matter the weather. He's stupidly into fashion but it doesn't show! At all! And everyone teases him about it. His closet is about 90% Cactus Juice merchandise, hence the "it's the quenchiest!" shirt.
His fashion and music tastes are pretty much the same. He loves poetry but isn't really into lyrics. He'll misinterpret just about anything you place in front of him. His Playlist is mostly vibes and tiktok songs he kind of enjoys. He isn't really into music...at least not as much as his sister.
AANG owns exactly one hoodie, one pair of shorts, and one beanie (THE beanie). Oh, and the crocsâdon't forget the crocs. Somehow, he's always wearing the exact same outfit. Every. Single. Day. Ancient Gaang lore suggests that the day Aang goes out without his beanie, it's the end of the world.
His Playlist is the poppiest, most bizarre thing ever. Every single song is Happy by Pharrell Williams levels of happy. Yet sometimes, among the bouncy dance-to songs, you'll find the strangest of things... (He does know what Good Day by Twenty One Pilots is about. That's the reason he likes it so much, actually. And it's so weird.)
KATARA is all about sundresses and loose pants. The epitome of comfortable loveliness. Light fabrics in blue shades, careful embroidery, delicate shoes, and little to no accessoriesâhers is a simple, yet quite adorable, style. She just needs to add more colors to her usual palette...
She is, first and foremost, a Florence + The Machine girl. It's the Dark Goddess of the Sea vibes, to be honest. Florence Welch is her idol and yes, she will fight you about lyrics interpretation, and win. It may not seem like it, but her music tastes are also very varied.
She draws a little from each member of the Gaang, so you'll hear her humming along to Gorillaz (where did you even find out about them, Aang?), The Weeknd (I...don't think this song means what you think it means, Sokka...), and Hozier (Zuko why did you dedicate Talk to me, Zuko WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY THAT).
TOPH...ah, lovely girl. I'll summarise everything about Tophâs fashion sense in two words: comfort and rebellion. Stuffy dresses forced on her by billionaire parents? No thank you! Give her tank tops with loose shirts and short pants. Bandaids shared with Aang, bracelets from Katara, and even piercings she got in tandem with Sokka. Shoes? What even is that?
Something I love about this fandom is our collective agreement that Toph is into the dirtiest, heaviest, most ear-splitting and soul-crushing death metal of all times. Her Playlist is full of the most obscure names to ever exist, and she can and will blast through your walls with the sheer volume of her speaker.
Zuko. ZUKO.
Even in a modern AU my boy must suffer. That being said, I envision Tales from the Couch asâwell, exactly what it is: an ATLA modern AU. While there is not a war to fight, and a lot of plot lines are discarded or expanded upon, much about the core story remains the same.
This is my way of saying that Zuko still goes trough his redemption arc, and it reflects on his fashion choices.
The way you described it works perfectly because of one single reason: in this AU, Zuko is an artist. He had to suppress his love for writing and drawing because of his background and the expectations Ozai had for him (taking over the family company), and a very large part of his redemption arc directly affects his relationship with art.
In the Couch equivalent of S1, Zuko has fallen out of Ozai's graces, and is desperate to protect his place in the company and the Kasai household. He's pretending to be someone he isn't and trying to live up to his Father's image of a perfect heir while still being somewhat cut-off financially, and it shows.
He's all about imposing long coats and a semi-formal style, imitating what he knows Azula and Father would respect. He's striking and sharp and dark. But no matter how he dresses or carries himself (that air of cold superiority and arrogance)âit won't help him when he needs it the most.
In S2, Zuko has hit his lowest point. He's officially disinherited and tossed away by his father, and would be out in the streets if it wasn't for Uncle Iroh. He goes from sharp, high-tailored outfits to old second-hand clothes that hang loosely on his frame. He starts smoking and cuts his hair off, forgoing the undercut for the first time in years.
But then...Father accepts him back. When Zuko returns home, it's with respect to his name and a very high position in his father's company. He's finally the perfect Kasai heir, dressed in overly expensive suits and finery, even at home... But Father forbids him from wearing Lu Ten's earring, and Zuko can no longer recognize himself without the familiar glint of gold dancing on his peripheral vision.
When Zuko leaves the Kasai name behind him and goes back to living with Uncle Iroh...he's finally at peace with who he is, and what he wants in this life. The sharp edges aren't gone (they'll always be a part of him, after all), but now they're dulled by looser clothes and softer hairstyles.
He's an artist, and for once in his life, he is determined to pursue his own ambitions. Zuko's outfits may not be designer-made anymore, but he takes what he has and makes himself look like he wants to look, like the person he wants to be.
He doesn't read fashion magazines or keeps up to the latest trends like Azula does. He's just...Zuko. And his newfound confidence makes everything he wears look like it belongs on him.
As for music...well, Ursa raised a literature boy.
He loves lyric-heavy music and natural voices, be they soothing or powerful. Dissecting song meanings and possible interpretations with Katara is one of his favorite parts of the day. They're both very passionate and strong-minded individuals, so it stands to reason that their debates can get quite...heated.
Zuko's Playlist is both incredibly eclectic and somehow very...him. There's a common thread that binds together every song and artist he likes, and he's hilariously unaware of this. To take a look into his Playlist is a higher honor reserved only for those closest to him.
In the wide spectrum of things, it is no wonder that Zuko is, first and foremost, a Hozier man. But though Andrew is his God in all aspects of this life, there's someone else that has had a huge impact on him...
Two someones, actually.
Zuko refuses to tell anyone how he got into Twenty One Pilots, but it's kind of a moot point when the beginning of his obsession is nothing compared to everything that came after. They have just about the right amount of everything that makes Zuko...well, Zuko. The poetic lyrics, the soothing or raging music, the heavy, intensely resonant themes...
Up there, in the second artwork, I placed an album cover behind each period of Zuko's life. The election of these records is intentional, as I feel like their general themes work incredibly well with Zuko's arc and growth.
Blurryface in S1. For the demons within us. For giving a name to our fears and shame.
Trench in S2. For escaping the confined walls of a depression city, and fighting to understand the depths of the map of your mind.
Scaled and Icy in the first half of S3. For returning to places you had left behind. For convincing yourself and everyone around you that you're fine, that you're perfect, even though everything is crumbling inside...
Clancy in S3. For recognizing that you can backslide, that you can have fears and shame and painâbut you're shaping yourself with each step you take. For knowing that seeking help from others is okay. Nobody learns to walk on their own.
(And, in the end, you'll always be better than the person you were yesterday. If only because you're still here. You're still alive. You're still yourself.)
.
Overall, I rambled a bit too much, don't you think?
If you made it all the way down hereâthank you so much for reaching out and being interested in this crazy AU! I hope you enjoy these ideas and tell me some of your own â¤ď¸

The Nine Muses
This is a very simple post about the Muses in hopes of explaining who they are, what their domains are, and some things they may be able to help with. This post isn't a deep dive by any means - just a simple introduction. Enjoy!
Who are the Muses?
The Muses, or Mousai, are goddesses of inspiration for various creative, scientific, and poetic endeavors. They were believed to also have knowledge of all things that have come to pass, remembering events with clarity that mortals could not hope to have. Their names are Kalliope, Kleio, Ourania, Thaleia, Melpomene, Polymnia, Erato, Euterpe, and Terpsikhore.
In total, there are nine Muses. The god Apollon was often believed to be the leader of the Muses, having a very close connection with them. The goddess Artemis was also paired with them.
Their origin and family varied depending on the source, but the most common notion was that Zeus and Mnemosyne are their parents and that they were born at the foot of Mount Olympus. Some other possible parents are Ouranos and Gaia, Zeus and Plousia, Pieros and Antiope, or even Apollon.
Poets of the past used to invoke the names of the Muses in hopes of gaining inspiration and the ability to gracefully convey their words. When a connection was drawn between them and Apollo, they were also known for their prophetic abilities as well, even being said to teach the art of prophecy.
What are each of their domains?
Kalliope - The eldest of the Muses, she is the goddess of eloquence and epic poetry. She is often considered the mother of Orpheus. She was depicted with a tablet, a scroll, or (later on) a lyre. Her name has been translated to mean "beautiful-voiced".
Kleio - Wise and intelligent, she is named the goddess of history. In art, she was often depicted with an open scroll or chest full of books. Her name was translated as "to make famous".
Ourania - Associated with the stars, she is the goddess of astronomy and astronomical writings. She has been depicted pointing at a celestial globe with a rod, but I wasn't able to find more information on her symbols. Her name means "heavenly one".
Thaleia - A goddess that helps bring joy to the world, she is the goddess of comedy and bucolic poetry. She was also considered to be the mother of the Korybantes (a group of seven demigods). She was often depicted with a comedy mask, a shepherd's staff, or a wreath of ivy. Her name has been translated as "festivity" or "blooming".
Melpomene - Holding a domain more somber than the Muse above, she is the goddess of tragedy. She was named the mother of the Sirens by Apollodorus. She was depicted with a tragedy mask, a sword, a wreath of ivy, or cothurnus boots. Her name likely means "to celebrate with song (and dance)".
Polymnia - With a name meaning "many hymns" or "many praises", it's no surprise that she's the goddess of religious hymns. She was often portrayed in a meditative pose.
Erato - A Muse that needs no introduction, she is the goddess of erotic poetry and mime. She was often portrayed with a lyre. Her name means "lovely" or "beloved".
Euterpe - Likely full of rhymes and reasons, she is the goddess of lyric poetry. She was often depicted with a double flute. Her name likely means "well pleasing" or "giver of much delight".
Terpsikhore - Filled with music, she is the goddess of choral song and dancing. She was often depicted with a lyre and plectrum. Her name has been translated to "delighting in dance".
Kalliope - Speaking presentations, writing essays, script reading, reading/writing informational posts/articles/etc., interpreting poetry, poetry writing/reading, sharing your own poetry, communicating clearly with others, important conversations, coping with conflicts, addressing conflicts, making peace with others.
What are some things they can help with specifically?
***These are merely suggestions.***
Kleio - History exams/tests, studying classics/history, delving into your own history, discovering family history, recalling past events, writing myth retellings or similar, identifying patterns of behavior, releasing the past, learning from the past, finding hope for the future.
Ourania - Studying the stars/space, story-telling, understanding the universe around us, memorizing constellations, finding peace in the night, finding hope in the darkness, creating goals for yourself, "reaching for the stars", holding onto your wishes, finding a sense of direction.
Thaleia - Creating your own joy, finding what makes you happy, performing stand-up comedy, writing any form of comedy, play-writing, healthy positivity, learning to laugh things off, releasing stress/burdens, moving forward, expressing your joy.
Melpomene - Coping with hardships, moving through difficult times, releasing the past, forgiving oneself, coping with past mistakes/regret, healing from difficult events, coping with the "downs" of life, play-writing, telling tragic tales, addressing difficult topics sensitively.
Polymnia - Writing devotional poetry/hymns/songs/etc., growing closer with religion/devotion, inspiration for offerings/devotional acts, coping with religious difficulties, finding comfort/joy in religion, connecting with the divine, religious/spiritual writings, connecting with your practice.
Erato - Love letters, confessing your feelings through writings/songs/etc., connecting with sexuality, writing/reading erotic stories, communicating sexual needs, establishing/discovering sexual boundaries, sex positivity (especially through literature), embracing your sexual interests.
Euterpe - Writing poetry, interpreting poetry, communicating one's emotions, romanticizing life, sharing poetry with others, devotional poetry, expressing one's feelings through writing, processing emotions, finding the "right word" for a piece you're writing.
Terpsikhore - Song-writing, learning to dance, expressing yourself through dance/song, connecting with music, processing feelings with musical aid, instrument playing, choral/instrumental performances, writing a musical, musical theater, finding your voice, embracing who you are, expressing yourself.

i love your writing so much! But i was curious⌠Im a huge fan of the concept of a god complex and worship. Is there a possibility you could cook something up? Like a poly sleep token story where the reader can be any gender but the boys are absolutely enamored by them and the boys start feeding into the readers god complex in a role play sort of way. Sorry if itâs confusing, im not great with written words. Lol
warning: sexual implications, reader x sleep token.
Goddess almighty
It started as a joke. Vessel had suffered a massive writing block. Deadlines were pressing on but itâs as if someone had snapped a cord inside him. Nothing that usually had him going did the trick. He was stuck. Stuck to the point where self-doubt was starting to slowly blossom.
âStop thatâ, your voice had made him snap his head towards you. You werenât even looking at him, simply flipping through some of the already-approved lyrics. âStop what?â, Vessel asked pushing his chair back. âI can feel the self-doubt oozing out of you, itâs bone-chillingâ, you pushed up, letting your heels touch the ground as you lift your legs off III thighs.
âIâm notâŚâ, Vessel was quick to shake his head only to be met with your fingers grasping his jaw as you turned his face directly to face you. â âIâm notâ my ass, I can see it in your eyes, Vessâ, you huffed, âYou breathe poetry what kind of warms are up there nowâ, you move to press your finger against his forehead. âY/nâ, II calls out in a warning tone but all you do is shoot him a glare. âUse your powerâ, you grunt, âDonât make me disappointedâ, leaning in you nearly brush your lips over his. Enough to make him push closer to you but not enough to touch you. âYou earn thisâ, you motion your finger between you both, inclining a possibility of a different ending, âNow write, babyâ, nuzzling his cheek with your palm you turn away from him.
âWell come strokes me like thatâ, III chuckles, spreading his legs apart as he leans back into the sofa. You lick your lips as you slowly walk towards him. Stepping right between his legs but not making an effort to reach for him. He barely lasts a heartbeat before heâs reaching out himself, hands itching to get beneath your shirt. He tilts his head, letting his lips trail against your hipbone. But he barely manages to leave a couple of kisses there before your palm presses against his forehead as you push him away from you. âToo needyâ, you grunt, âToo easyâ. âNot my fault that you are the sweetest poisonâ, III shrugs, turning to kiss your palm.
You simply roll your eyes as you push back full. Striding towards the mini bar for a cold drink. âLet me open that for youâ, Ivy calls out, reaching for the can in your hands, âto save your nailsâ, he winks at you, making you smile. âNot fairâ, iii practically growls, âI get a scowl, the asshole gets a full smile for a can, I offered you a cum, loveâ. You canât help but let out a laugh, one that ii follows with a snort of his own, your eyes meeting as you two smirk at each other.
âWhatâs that all about?â, Vessel is the one frowning now as he watches you two. âLetâs just say I reached my full potentialâ, ii chimes in, brushing a thumb over his lips. âYou were a good boy indeedâ, you lick your lips watching him. âYou fuckersâ, ivy grunts. âYou fucked now didnât youâ, Vess swallows, hand moving to his sweatpants where you donât miss his adjusting himself.
You hum beneath your breath, tilting your head up to take a sip, before settling the can onto the side. âI donât knowâ, you shrug, pushing yourself up onto the table a smirk already forming on your lips, âYou tell meâ, muttering you spread your legs up and the deep inhales that the four of them take in practically leave the room with no oxygen. And then like moths to the flame, they all rush towards you. Only for you to cross your legs over again.
âGoddess almightyâ, Vessel grunts fingers brushing over your thighs. âWhatever he saidâ, Ivy muses, eyes all dazed. âDonât play baby, we are already in a chokeholdâ, iii musses. âGive them the taste of heaven, babyâ, ii chuckle, âDonât order me aroundâ, you clip at him with a smirk. âNowâ, you look them over, âon your kneesâ, pointing your finger down you watch them looking among themselves. âDonât you want a taste?â, and thatâs enough to send them to their knees in unison.

The Drama. It's Jimin.
We don't know yet how Jimin will tie together that sheet of music La Lettra (The Letter), containing the music of The Truth Untold and the Legend of the Smeraldo flower in this album but he's named the album MUSE.
The Truth Untold lyrics
You know that I canât Show you ME Give you ME I canât show you my miserable self, so, yet again, I wear a mask and go to meet you But I still want you
A flower that looks like you bloomed in the garden of loneliness I wanted to give it to you after taking off this silly mask But I know that I canât never ever do so
And the story it is based on, The legend of 'Smeraldo' about a flower created just for the girl the man couldn't reveal himself to.
Here is an excerpt from this link:
The man wanted to help the girl. He wanted to teach her every method of growing flowers he knew, he wanted to teach her how to grow beautiful flowers. But he couldnât come forward to the girl. She would be scared of him, she wouldnât love his grotesque appearance. In the end, the only thing he could do was to grow and take care of the flowers so she could keep coming to his garden.
The vibe of The Truth Untold is yearning, desperation, unfulfilled and unrequited love due to one's own inner turmoil holding them back.
The gist of the Legend of the Smeraldo is that you cannot remain withdrawn if you are to achieve the thing you desire most. If you wait too long it will be too late. You must overcome the negative perceptions of yourself in order to reach for the thing you desire.
"Muse" can mean what Jimin is to others and what Army is to Jimin, but Jimin's muse is most likely an element of his inner persona that he keeps to himself, that he draws on for his creativity.
It could also be the stage, the desire to visually express his creativity. I have heard music artists claim their muse or mistress is the stage, they cannot stay away from it, their passion, their obsession, their life's blood and breath to the point everything else is secondary.
The definition for the word muse is:
a person or personified force who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist.
Muse is also related to Greek mythology. From wikipedia:
The Muses are the inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts. They were considered the source of the knowledge embodied in the poetry, lyric songs, and myths that were related orally for centuries in ancient Greek culture.
Where have we seen this inspiration before in Jimin's creativity? I wrote about his Artemis/Apollo concept for his photo folio here.
I know too often Jimin is reduced down to his visuals and his singing...he is a walking melody-maker after all. But he's much deeper than that. He is well-read, he excels at math and science, he understands the human condition better than anyone else around him.
Perhaps in this project, he will explore something that expresses these concepts more deeply.
Motifs he's using in the album's concepts:
Blooming: ME
Serenade: US
A field of flowers, not just any flower, a simple small white flower. Thousands of them. Do the flowers represent us?
I wonder what the blurred out center image of the album covers will reveal.
In his Sept. 1 live last year, among the things he spoke about (besides his Jungkookie's birthday) Jimin told us he was doing things differently, like starting from scratch.
During this live, commenters kept asking about his beat up knuckles and he said just wait and we will find out. He also showed us his workout room in his house.
He also showed us his solar system mood light casting images across the ceiling of his bedroom. He says he falls asleep with it on.
Yet he's an expert at talking to us for a great length of time without really telling us anything. Masterful in fact. He rarely reveals anything personal. We were astonished when he walked through his own home and showed us various rooms in it.
But he wasn't always like this. Whatever circumstances, whether it be outside forces or his own inner growth and maturity, he's changed over the years. He's an expert at hiding parts of himself and his life from us.
How difficult is it for any of us to be our REAL selves in front of anyone? How many of us hide the fact we are Army from our friends, family and co-workers? How many of us behave a certain way in certain situations in order to hide what we perceive are our weaknesses? How many of us are reluctant to speak out, even about frivolous things or dress a certain way or avoid wearing certain colors because what people might think or perceive about us?
Now imagine that you make your living by putting yourself on stage and in front of cameras for millions of prying eyes.
I do think Jimin loves the drama of it all, the mystique. I believe Jimin loves sensuality and provocation. And I think he loves creating visual expressions of all of it.
Many of us share the same inner muse but few of us possess the tools like Jimin does to express these inner musings outwardly. But if we did too, could we? Do we have the fortitude to put ourselves out there? Sure, it's easy to say "if I had a body like Jimin's I would walk around naked all the time." Would you really? Would you really invite the eyes to look and pry and critique? Would you welcome the amount of judgement that would take place? Because it never stops at just one thing. Offering yourself up invites judgement about everything, even things you don't have any control over, from the shape of your fingers to the tone of your voice.
Over the years, Jimin has shown how self-critical he is, constantly wanting to improve himself, always seeming determined to take it to the next level. Determined to show us another side of himself. Brave enough to keep revealing what he draws from his own muse.
MusE... blooming... ME
mUSe... serenade... US
Jimin's blooming and in this record, he will serenade us with his love. He really didn't want to leave us. Perhaps he felt he was just hitting his stride. I felt it.
#jimin x muse#jimin#excited to see what jimin has created for us and himself#he said outloud he knows we want skin#seated and ready#probably not ready but seated

Because I've seen people asking for it, here's all the information I have (and have made) for the PTN Goddess!AU. Keep in mind it's still in development, meaning I'm happy to hear people's ideas and input and I'll probably change things up from them.
CW: PTN Goddess!AU under the cut.
For this AU I'm using Greek Gods & Goddesses specifically. Mainly because I know about them the most and plus this was inspired by Chameleon, Chelsea, & Cabernet's Greek inspired attires.
Before I go into information on the PTN women, here's stuff to know about the Reader; They are a human who devotes their life to worshipping the Gods. So much so that's caught the attention of a few. They are devout and loyal to their Goddesses, worshipping not just at their shrines, but worshipping them in the bedroom as well.
Next, here's the women I don't have anything set up for yet (have chosen a Greek God they could be). So, would love to hear opinions on these women; Eleven, K.K., Macchiato, McQueen, Pricilla, Shalom, Stargazer, & Uni.

I hyperfixated and read the lyrics to every Hozier song â¨
I was trying to find out what makes his music so much more comfortable to listen to, as a feminist, than so many other male artists.
It's not like Hozier's music isn't horny or sexual. And just wreathing your meaning in fancy words doesn't necessarily make a gross sentiment feel less gross, so it's not just the flowery language.
I actually think it's the attitude and approach. Where a lot of music is like, "she's so beautiful, she makes me feel so good, i desire her, i must have her," Hozier opts for an expression of awe, captivation and sometimes gratitude in his music. Instead of "i must have her," the sentiment is more like "I'm so lucky that she lets me be in her life for now."
Instead of "i met this beautiful girl and now i want her," Hozier is like, "this is a demanding pagan goddess that i worship", "this is a kind woman inviting a wild animal (me) into her house", "she is fire consuming all of my past lovers", "she dug me up out of the ground on accident with her bare hands", "she is an eldritch horror and i will devote my entire being to her", or "she is literally the sun". Even in songs that are less metaphor-heavy like Jackie and Wilson or Moment's Silence, she ALWAYS has all the power and agency. She's never a thing to be desired, she's a being to be respected, adored, and worshipped, and that one is lucky just to be noticed by.
I think that's really empowering, you know? Besides making for great poetry. Most of the time in pop culture women/femme people (especially those that love men) have to put up with being treated as an object. A precious or mysterious object sometimes, but an object nonetheless. I'd settle for being portrayed as a human with agency, but you know Mr Hozier, "goddess" or "eldritch entity" is amazing too. We love your music.

"Songbirds and the Stars" (part 9 in my Orpheus and Eurydice" series Orpheusâ head and Lyre, still singing, float out to sea, eventually coming upon the shore of Lesbos. Orpheus head continues to sing to patrons, and is even interpreted by an oracle until Apollo interceded, as it competes with his oracle at Delphi. Eventually, the muses collect his dismembered body parts and head, and bury them upon the foot of Mount Olympus, where the nightingales sing above his grave. Through the support of Apollo and the Muses, Zeus casts Orpheusâ lyre up into the night sky as a constellation in honor of the poetâs musical powers. Letâs take a moment to review the nine Muses of mount Helicon, those feminine patron deities inspiring the arts and sciences. Weâll begin with Orpheusâ own mother; Calliope-goddess of epic poetry. Clio is the muse of history, while Erato inspires erotic poetry. Euterpe represents music and lyrical poetry, and Melpomene sings tales of tragedy. Polymnia sings religious hymns, while Terpsichore delights in dance. Thalia was patron of festive comedy and Urania was the muse of Astronomy and astrology. Ovid gives us the optimistic reuniting of the lovers in the underworld: âMeanwhile the fleeting shade of Orpheus had descended under earth: remembering now those regions that he saw when there before, he sought Eurydice through fields frequented by the blest; and when he found her, folded her in eager arms. Then lovingly they wandered side by side, or he would follow when she chose to lead, or at another time he walked in front, looking back, safely,âat Eurydice.â (Tr. hi!! would you be open to sharing some of your experiences with worshipping the kharites? how have they impacted your life? i'm interested but there's so little information surrounding them. thank you so much :D
Ah hell yeah! I'll jump on any chance to talk about them!
I love the elder Kharites so much, sure I honor ALL of them but the first three are the ones directly in my life, and the third to have a statue on my altar. My main go-to with them is every art that has to do with writing, those that really eat up poetry and storytelling in all forms. They're givers of joy, grace, beauty, and eloquence, and the ones I lean on most for my own writing more than anyone else in company with two that they're in the retinue (staunch companions) of Hermes and Aphrodite. I feel like I might be the odd one out on my tendency to lean on them with H and A over the Mousai and Apollon, but it's just what feels most right for me. I can't dream of it being the latter when in my mind the five in question embody what grips and makes writing special while also being patrons of the arts.
To put it into perspective and why I went from honoring, to actively worshipping and now being their devotee and crediting them with every piece I make:
Bacchylides, Fragment 10 (trans. Campbell, Vol. Greek Lyric IV) (C5th B.C.) : "Truly the skilled man [poet or artisan] prospers in golden hope, whether he has won honour from the Kharites (Charites, Graces)."
Pindar, Nemean Ode 4. 6 ff (trans. Conway) (Greek lyric C5th B.C.) : "If that man with the Kharites' (Charites', Graces') favour haply bring forth the heart's deep mood to live upon the tongue."
Pindar, Olympian Ode 14. 1 ff (trans. Conway) (Greek lyric C5th B.C.) : "Whose haunts are by Kephissos' (Cephisus') river, you queens beloved of poets' song, ruling Orkhomenos (Orchomenus), that sunlit city and land of lovely steeds, watch and ward of the ancient Minyan race, hear now my prayer, you Kharites (Charites, Graces) three. For in your gift are all our mortal joys, and every sweet thing, be it wisdom, beauty, or glory, that makes rich the soul of man. Nor even can the immortal gods order at their behest the dance and festals, lacking the Kharites' aid"
From their theoi page: "The character and nature of the Charites are sufficiently expressed by the names they bear: they were conceived as the goddesses who gave festive joy and enhanced the enjoyments of life by refinement and gentleness. Gracefulness and beauty in social intercourse are therefore attributed to them. (Horat. Carm. iii. 21, 22; Pind. Ol. xiv. 7, &c.) They are mostly described as being in the service or attendance of other divinities, as real joy exists only in circles where the individual gives up his own self and makes it his main object to afford pleasure to others. The less beauty is ambitious to rule, the greater is its victory; and the less homage it demands, the more freely is it paid. These seen to be the ideas embodied in the Charites. They lend their grace and beauty to everything that delights and elevates gods and men. This notion was probably the cause of Charis being called the wife of Hephaestus, the divine artist. The most perfect works of art are thus called the works of the Charites, and the greatest artists are their favourites. The gentleness and gracefulness which they impart to man's ordinary pleasures are expressed by their moderating the exciting influence of wine (Hor. Carm. iii. 19. 15; Pind. Ol. xiii. 18), and by their accompanying Aphrodite and Eros. (Hom. Od. viii. 364, xviii. 194; Paus. vi. 24. § 5.) They also assist Hermes and Peitho to give grace to eloquence and persuasion (Hesiod. Op. 63), and wisdom itself receives its charms from them. Poetry, however, is the art which is especially favoured by them, whence they are called erasimolpoi or philêsimolpoi. For the same reason they are the friends of the Muses, with whom they live together in Olympus. (Hes. Theog. 64; Eurip. Herc. fur. 673; Theocrit. xvi. in fin.) Poets are inspired by the Muses, but the application of their songs to the embellishment of life and the festivals of the gods are the work of the Charites."
It certainly doesn't help that so many of the gods I focus on and are most important to my personal worship directly have them in their retinue or are their companions in the sense like the Mousai and the Horai where it's more an equal footing kind of thing versus what it's like with Hermes, Aphrodite, Apollon, Athene, Artemis, Dionysos, Hera, Hekate, and while it isn't noted anywhere, I can't see it in any other way than Hestia's inclusion as one of the trio leaders of festivities with Hermes and Dionysos and the Kharites embodying mirth, cheer/excitement, and festivities.
The best way to devote yourself to them and my go-to when I'm down and don't have the energy or focus and willpower to do much more is to do something for myself that will bring joy, comfort, and elation in their name. Hedonism and doing your hobbies go a long way with them.

Terpsichore Lyran (1816) by Antonio Canova (1757â1822)
In Greek mythology, Terpsichore was one of the nine Muses, or goddesses of creative inspiration. The lyre, the Greek inscription on the short column, and the caduceus (entwined snakes) on the side identify the figure as Terpsichore Lyran, muse of lyric poetry. This sculpture began with a commission from Napoleon's brother, Lucien, for an idealized portrait of his wife, Alexandrine. Antonio Canova made this version for a British aristocrat and exhibited it in 1817 at the Royal Academy in London to great acclaim.

You, I made this post, somewhere, anyway, what are 10 minor deities u know of. This is just for fun đ
Khaire!
Your wording at the start kind of confuses me, sorry. ^^; But I'll gladly talk about some minor deities I know of!
Triton, a god of the Sea, is one that I was paid to make a subtle worship post on and will be doing one for soon here. Galatea, goddess of calm seas, is another I paid to make a post about! Hippocrates, the god of Silence, was one I hadn't heard of before someone requested I make a post about him; his history is pretty interesting! There's also Thanatos, god of Peaceful Death, who is often confused with and overshadowed by Haides, interestingly. Asclepius, god of Medicine, is a son of Apollo who was actually deified after being killed for discovering a way for humans to not die (seems the gods aren't big on immortality for humans in the myths, and I don't blame them XD). Nyx, goddess of the Night, is pretty lesser known as well but is said to be one of the most powerful goddesses within the myths - someone who even Zeus himself feared the power of. Tyche, goddess of Fortune, is another deity who gets often overlooked but is known to control both good and bad fortune, among many other things. Harmonia, goddess of Harmony, is a daughter of Ares and Aphrodite, actually, who was transformed into a snake along with her lover. Morpheus, the leader of the Oneiroi and God of dreams, is a pretty interesting figure who is a son of Hypnos. And last, but not least, is Iris, messenger of Hera and goddess of Rainbows, who is very often overlooked in modern worship circles, unfortunately.
An honorable mention goes to all of The Muses, who are lesser known than they should be, for sure. Clio (Muse of History), Calliope (Muse of Epic Poetry & Eloquence), Melpomene (Muse of Tragedy), Thalia (Muse of Comedy), Erato (Muse of Erotic Poetry), Polyhymnia (Muse of Religious Hymns), Ourania (Muse of Astronomy), Euterpe (Muse of Lyric Poetry), and Terpsikhore (Muse of Choral Song and Dancing).
Hope this gives you a good answer! Take care! đ§Ą

Erato (62) is the Greek Goddess of Erotic Poetry.
Sheâs also important in lyrics. In terms of analyzing and recognizing hidden meanings of lyrics in our favorite songs, she is a goddess to call upon!
