Hey

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. I think we have some things to talk about. Yes, you the person reading this and me.

My activity here has been slow and I’ve found myself less motivated to write on this blog lately. So I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s time for me to step away for a bit. How long? I don’t know. It could be for a few months, years, or forever.

Now don’t worry! This isn’t some sort of thing that should cause you concern over my well being or anything. I’m perfectly fine health-wise. I still enjoy writing and I definitely do still enjoy Sakuya, Touhou Project and the community surrounding this blog. There’s definitely no issue there.

I just need you all to understand, Sakuya was my first muse and definitely my biggest and I’ve been writing her for more than three years now. I know some of you have been around for much longer, but that’s definitely a long time for me, and I want to branch out and try other things.

I’m sure there’s the question, “Will you ever come back”? And all I can say is maybe. Like I said, I still love Sakuya and she’s definitely been my favorite muse I’ve written, even if I would consider this blog (especially the beginning) to be my cringe years. But I can’t improve if I don’t fail first right? Anyway, Sakuya will always be a part of me, and maybe one day I will return to write her with a vengeance. Probably with a clean slate.

But the whole reason that I’m making this post is because I don’t want to leave my followers in the dark. Some of y’all have been here since the very beginning and I just have to say thank you. It’s so sweet to know that y’all really did enjoy my writing enough to follow me for so long. I’ve enjoyed the interactions I’ve done and the friendships I’ve made here.

That said, I may not be completely gone. Maybe I’ll feel like poking my head in here to see how y’all are doing. And of course those that have me in discord servers will most likely still see me around.
