Why do people in this fandom normalize an affair between Rhaegar and Lyanna?

Because Rhaegar’s marriage was arranged. So it means the reason for arranged marriage is an excuse for cheating and cheating with a highborn woman and running away with her?

Not like that. Just because the marriage was arranged doesn't make it an excuse to affair and run away with the other woman, especially to fulfill the prophecy.

If the three of them were still alive after the rebellion. And People knew the relationships between Rhaegar and Lyanna, the people would surely support them. Because Lyanna is from the North and she is the Stark. And that put Elia and her children's lives in danger. It can happen like the Blackfyre rebellion. Because a lot of people are racist and sentimental towards Dornish.

This fandom is sick of normalizing an affair between Rhaegar and Lyanna. But if happens to Ned Stark if he really has an affair or their other favorite character in the affair, they will be mad.

Plus I'm sick, and I made a "Stop Being Sick" Old Fashioned, so let's do this 🥰🍸🤧 (I used to be a bartender and craft cocktails are my reinforcers, lol. My recipe is below the cut if you'd like to try it out! Also, I'm not a doctor, this is booze not medicine 😅)

Lynna's "Stop Being Sick" Old Fashioned recipe (please drink responsibly y'all)

Ingredients: - 2oz Bulleit Bourbon - 1tbs honey (adjust depending on how sweet you like it) - 1oz hot water - Homemade Bitters/Tinctures ~ Please use responsibly, and check before ingesting concentrated plant shit. You can use regular bitters if you like, those were also made to help people that were sick 🥰 There's also a ton of delicious flavored bitters out there you can play with! (also fun fact! All bitters are tinctures, but tinctures are usually only called bitters if made with a bitter herb and/or a combination of multiple plants) - Mugwort Bitters/Tincture ~ Please do not ingest Mugwort. It can cause a lot of negative side effects. I've decided that I don't care about those particular effects, but this is NOT a plant to ingest willy nilly (especially for those with uteruses)! Please do your research and consult a health professional with safety concerns. It's also the most insanely bitter fucking herb, so other bitter plants would probably taste even better! (I'm weirdo that loves bitter too much, lol) - Elderberry Tincture ~ Adds delightful not-too-sweet sweetness and color, plus it's supposed to knock the sick right out - Ginger Tincture ~ I love ginger bitters for the sharp, spicy, but almost citrus flavor they add to drinks. Plus it's ginger. Also supposed to be good for the sickness, lol - 1 big ass fancy ice cube - Orange peel for oil and garnish

Instructions: 1. Stir the honey into the whiskey and hot water until dissolved (it doesn't have to be perfect) 2. Add a safe amount of your bitters/tinctures of choice and stir 3. Carefully drop the big hunk of ice in the cup and stir until the warm drink gets cold 4. Hold the pith side of your orange peel toward you and press lightly until the oils spray the top of the drink. Rub the peel around the inside rim of the glass before dropping it in. You can stir the hunk of ice with it first, or just swirl the glass to mix the oils in. 5. Enjoy, and please stop being sick! 🥰🤧

Sorting thru the stash

Ok so I moved to a new place in March and I kinda was using my spare room/office as storage space and it got out of control. I need the space back by August so I'm starting the dreaded task of figuring out What I Own.

This is all of my yarn that is not currently on needles or being worked. I'll sort thru that....tomorrow...some other time not tonight

It's truly not as bad as I thought it would be. I sorted it into bags by weight and if I already had a dedicated project for it. Some of the stuff IS legitimately 15+ years old because it's from high school which is embarrassing but now I know what I have so.....

It’s so disgusting with Lyanna’s stans are so hypocritical just like their fav, Lyanna. They’re very happy when they shipped Rhaegar who is the married man who had children and Lyanna. But Lyanna’s stans can not accept the fact that Lyanna is the definition of a homewrecker.

You know what a is homewrecker right? A person blamed for the break-up of a marriage or long-term relationship, especially as a result of having an affair with one of the partners.

And there she is, the hypocrite who broke up the marriage of Rhaegar and Elia. And made Rhaegar secretly annulled his marriage to high septon.

Anyways, by Westeros standards. Lyanna is an adult.

And you know, Lyanna wasn’t innocent, she was the type like Arya who always defended herself

Well, another of her hypocrites. She doesn't like womanizer Robert but runs away with Rhaegar who has children. Technically, she won't be a mistress when Rhaegar makes her his second wife but he was still unfaithful to his first wife. So what I'm trying to say is that Lyanna probably thought Robert will have other women even while married but Rhaegar won't because he doesn't visit whorehouses and will marry her. By the rules of their world, there will be no bastards from Rhaegar unlike with Robert.

I have social anxiety so this took a LOT of doing and not going to lie I am fairly anxious about it right now, but I just think it would be fun. I'm very interested in A&S so hopefully I can figure out how to get into that around here~
