i havent touched my sketchbook in months
anyway have a bunch of sloppy sketches plus one sloppy colored sketch plus one thing i did on me laptop :>
more info/ backstory about Kiddo under the cut bc this post is too long ;w;
Nickname: Kiddo (original name unknown)
Age: ~ early 20s
Height: 163 centimeters, or 5′4″
Before the void-jump accident, Kiddo loved music and loved to perform for others, both singing and playing. She often hosted parties, jam sessions, general peaceful gatherings. She had boarded the Zariman 10-0 to reach her next venue, a spot a few friends recommended for her. When the ship was recovered, they found her unable to speak, and barely able to contain her own power. Under the support of the other Tenno, she found her voice again, and performed once more for the other Tenno before being placed into cryostasis. The others had nicknamed her “Kiddo”, for the childlike personality she held onto, despite their situation.
Upon being revived from cryostasis, Kiddo had lost a vast majority of her memories from before she was placed into cryostasis, and had once more lost her voice. Dazed and scared, she slowly found comfort in the Lotus’ voice: it sounded so vaguely familiar... She had immediately perked up upon hearing the Cephalon’s voice. It reminded her of a distant time: casual conversation, distant music; In a strange sort of way, it had comforted her, yet the distinct feeling of loss of memory still tugged at the back of her mind.
Within her Excalibur, the sense of dread from not being able to speak still weighed heavy on her mind; even with the company of Ordis and the Lotus, she didn’t exactly feel whole. Her early missions were partly distraction, partly to find what she was missing: Archwing, her kubrow, Waffle, not even shiny new weapons seemed to remedy her vague sense of loss. It wasn’t until she found other Tenno at nearby relays that the memories began to come flooding back: crowds of smiling faces, gentle applause, soft music...
Music! that was it! Other Tenno had turned to her in alarm as she nearly fell over where she stood: the memories nearly entirely came rushing back to her. Having friends, singing, dancing, performing: that’s what she had been missing. She had stayed for hours at that relay, taking in the presence of the other Tenno, her sense of purpose alight once more.
Soon after, she took on new missions with passion. Once she began to branch out and meet others again, her happiness had returned to her. Cephalon Simaris, Darvo, Clem, even the Syndicate leaders she had remained shy around returned her sense of friendship -- her sense of family back to her. Still under the weight and fear of being forever mute, she found strength in sharing her presence, not words with others.
Meeting more important figures in her rival factions had been...interesting. Her bright personality soon turned to cockiness as she occupied different Warframes. Ivara, Ash, Trinity: she fancied herself a jack-of-all-trades, and it most certainly went straight to her head. Alad V found her arrogant but sweet, Vay Hek saw her as a nuisance, she had opted to run circles around Sargas Ruk, turning their fight into a game. She soon became known as a trouble-making Tenno, toying with her enemies before going in for the kill. (Tyl Regor had certainly set her back in line-- She was fast, but he was faster.)
Today, her personality shines through Transference. She had grown so familiar with the inability to speak, it came as a shock to her once she had recovered herself from the Reservoir. For the first couple of days, she had still refused to speak, only act. Others, like Nef Anyo had teased her about it, but it wasn’t until she had saved her squad by “pulling a fast one” on Tyl Regor (as he described it) while assisting them with carrying out their assigned marks. To this day, she has not let him live that down: it pulled the voice right out of her. Loud, proud, playful; she could tease back harder than any snide comment about her silence. Kiddo began to speak once more, preferring to speak to others out of her frame as yet another one of her cocky habits.
tidbits i missed/couldn’t find a good spot to stick into her backstory:
- during TWW, she had minimized how much she spoke to Teshin: I personally headcanon that any “spoken” words within the cave/mountain were just thoughts, not words spoken out loud.
- Eventually, she came around to work for Steel Meridian, but through Operation: Ambulas Reborn, as well as The Glast Gambit, she has developed a fondness for Ergo Glast, occassionally remarking that one day she’ll “beat the odds”
- Her favorite Warframe is Titania: there’s something about zipping around the battlefield as a small fairy, covering anything and everything in butterflies that just makes her...........giddy.
- selfie queen
- never fails to attend Baro’s parties: he occasionally lets her perform for them
- imagine Peridot from SU crossed with Hana Song from Overwatch......but a Tenno
- she’s very self-conscious about her height, immediately blushing whenever brings it up
- despite having come to terms with missing a voice for so long, so many times, she still has an extreme fear of being silenced again.
TL;DR: she’s small, cute, and won’t hesitate to smack a bitch
also pls go ahead and draw Kiddo with your operator she love company ;w;

!! !! !!
many ttrpg characters for you, my friend!!
first off, my good good pulp cthulhu boy Roland! (I did introduce him when the game started, but that was a Whole Year Ago and he's been on my mind because I've been binging Malevolent, so!)
he's the (currently in game) 26 y/o fantasy son of Howard Carter, the Egyptologist who isn't much good at fighting, but IS quite good at languages (he started the game with 5 and picked up a bit of a 6th just sitting in a cafe for a day) and sticking his nose into trouble (a dust monster partially blinded him last sesh, but it's ok! he got better AND was smart enough to not try to shoot a rifle while trying to blink away the supernatural pocket sand)
he's the MOST fascinated with the occult and weird eldritch stuff people keep whispering about (even though he can't believe what eshe saw) and i'm sure Nothing Bad Will Come Of That At All :)
he's perfect and i love him and i WILL cry if something kills him
next up: Lynne Cadogan!
this is an old monster of the week character of mine, but she was SO much fun. she's a demon, works in a flower shop, has an angel best friend & partner in crime/pretending to be cops/playing detective, drives a mint green prius and has a sawed-off shotgun in a pastel backpack
if her game ever crossed over with tma, she'd find a way to get on ghost hunt uk SPECIFICALLY so she could harass the ghosts and/or melanie and/or the entire archives staff
in answering this ask, i pulled out my binder of all my old character sheets and man there are SO many good ones, but i'm gonna go with Juran for #3 because i think his design is cool as FUCK and heroforge got advanced enough a while back for me to actually get close to what i had envisioned! (and yes he was named for the umbra questline song from warframe that makes me cry every time i hear it)
he was my character for an angelic homebrew @warlordfelwinter made and ran years and years ago and i don't remember most of what happened (my literal only note says "vaguely remembered fighting in a battle and then woke up in a lake of fire" lmao) but i DO remember that he was a messenger and would use his big-ass wings to catch thermals and jetstreams and the like to be Quick with his deliveries, and that he ended the game with a bag of beans (unused) and an iguana (heroforge only had a turtle)
[send me a !! and i'll introduce you to an oc!]
#//juri answers#ask games#the oc intros one#thanks!!!#man past me felt silly for keeping all my character sheets from campaigns & oneshots#but current me is very glad for it#it's fun to look back on like a scrapbook!#oc: roland carter#oc: lynne cadogan#oc: juran

"At least you can use some of the information I gave you." Lynn said with a smile. "But now for the getting to know you....favorite game aside from World of Warcraft and the usual games you play." Lynn said as she looked down at her sneakers and rubbed some dust off them. "I'm pretty well known in Warframe and also to clear things up earlier I remember a friend telling me about someone in WoW who was knowing for their raids. They told me to join the guild and I did.....what was the name of the guild....League of....god it was ages." Lynn said snapping her fingers trying to remember.
"shit, but yeah, I'm sure it'll come to me later on, but I'm also pretty high ranked in dead by daylight too. Pyramid Head is my main." Lynn said as she placed the bag of gummy bears down to show the male her hoodie.
omgcoffee-and-murder:
“If it helps usually in the movies villians go for the hero’s loved ones. So there is that bit for when you want to hit someone in the gut and really make it hurt.” Lynn said then looked over at the male and smirked. “I know the kid with green hair is always breaking his arms or legs trying to use his quirk. The things people talk about while they are out in public. If you don’t know who is around might wanna keep that info to yourself especially since villians can be lurking around.” Lynn said as she leaned back on the couch picking her gummy bears apart and mixing flavors up.
“Also I think he has a crush on that girl who can control gravity when she touches the item. I can’t be too sure but he seems to get really flustered when he talks to her.” Lynn said as she looked over at Shigaraki and smiled.
“Those are movies. They’re fiction. I don’t even know where the brat’s in school parents live. Even then I have heard they have heroes check up on them,” he replied, rubbing a thumb over his other hand. “He doesn’t break his arms anymore, sadly. If he still broke his arms, it’d make things a lot easier…”
He glanced over to her, watching her pick at the gummy bears. “Oh, the gravity girl. I don’t know her, but I know Toga sees her as a friend. Though it’s a warped friend ship if you ask me. it’s not mutual…. Anyways, I am sure I can use that against him then. The gravity girl isn’t much for an offense. She’s more of a rescue and support…”

For those of you who play Warframe, here’s some trivia - the Nightwave Intermission NPC is based on Lynne Thigpen’s character in the 1979 film “The Warriors.” In the film, Thigpen plays a radio DJ who announces the hit on The Warriors and is only seen from the nose down. Later, she announces that the alert is called off and salutes The Warriors with the song “In the City” by Joe Walsh.
