In the year 427 BCE, Alexios allows Socrates to lure him to Athens for the summer. During his stay in the city, his relationship with Demosthenes, not yet a general of Athens, will change significantly… But as the war rages on, will the pressures of the messy world beyond Athens' walls bring the pair together or drive them apart?

Alright, I’m a bit early but, I finished these doodles and I wanted to post them because I’m inpatient. Happy (early) Valentine’s Day! I thought I’d just draw some couples (or just two characters) from Odyssey. I also couldn’t find very many couples so I even went into my think tank and remembered Drakon and Melanippos even though they are extreme background characters. Ummm... don’t @ me for the Cleon and Aristophanes one... or the Socrates and Al one.... we’re just not gonna talk about it. Knowing me I probably forgot a couple. Anyways, I always type too much, I hope you like it!

Sailed to Korinthia looking for Myrrine and dealed with The Monger privately. Alexios is beginning to see how dealing things privately is preferable to a public execution. He bonded with Lykinos, a humble poet, with whom he learned some things other than violence. He turned down his brother Timotheos, who needed to overcome his thirst for blood.

He also encountered Athena, who impersonated a simple woman, and learned quite a bit about gods.
