i think i owe some explanations, but to summarize, i don't think I'll be coming back.

i became a fan of formula one in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, and it has become a passion since then! mclaren is a point of comfort, and the sport itself has brought me friends, a lot of happiness (and a lot of sadness too, but that's part of it.)

i've always written fanfic, whether it was marvel, criminal minds, or whatever i was obsessed with at the time. it seemed natural to write things about F1 too, but i realized over time that it didn't work out very well.

F1 is a sport, and because of that, we all have drivers that we like, and drivers we don't like, and that's okay. but i realized that i was trying to appear neutral about certain things just so i could write, but it's not working and it doesn't feel right to me.

it doesn't feel right to write about men who disgust me, defending the misogynistic environment of the sport. it also doesn't feel right to try to write about drivers i support against every week (ferrari druvers i'm looking at you), and then try to pretend i'm impartial.

there were good times here, with rcho, and the series of soulmates (even though i only ended up publishing one story lmao), but i think our story ends here <3

regarding some of the series that i started here and have barely been updated (bring home the glory, for example), i intend to publish them on wattpad in the future, both in english and portuguese, because in these stories i believe i will be able to better develop the main characters more freely, turning them into ocs (the creation and development of ocs has always been my part favorite to write!). if i actually publish them, i'll come here to let you know.

a big kiss and a warm hug to all of you who supported me in the short time i spent here, you really made me very happy! hopefully we'll see each other again someday.
