I fear I was bopping to this song in 2011 head empty no thoughts (I was 20 leave me alone) at least consciously and quiet frankly haven’t thought about this song or album in YEARS but after getting back on tik tok today post “ban” and this song randomly popped into my head so I revisited the lyrics and jesus fucking christ this is exactly how meta, twitter and now tik tok all feel and I am currently very actively working on “becoming my own dj” as he puts it by creating community spaces outside of ones controlled by billionaires
