Bu yazımda sizlere sıfır atık yaşama başlamış ya da başlamayı düşünen, her ay regl ürünlerine para harcamaktan yorulmuş, hayatında daha sürdürülebilir ve uzun ömürlü bir alternatif arayanlar için bir üründen ve deneyimimden bahsedeceğim. 🏆 

Dünyada kadınların birçoğu regl olduğunda kendini hem sancı hem de çevre sebebiyle kötü hissediyor. Erkek egemen toplumlarda, kadınların üzerindeki toplumsal baskı daha fazla görülmektedir. Lise yıllarında sana ‘’Arkamı çaktırmadan kontrol eder misin?’’ diye soran bir arkadaşın mutlaka olmuştur. En azından benim böyle soran çok arkadaşım oldu. Tuvalete ped değiştirmeye giderken kimsenin görmesini istemediğinden türlü çabaya giren, pedini süveterinin içine sokup gizleyerek tuvalete giden arkadaşlarım da oldu. Ne yazık ki adet görmenin utanılacak, korkulu ve kötü bir şey olduğunu düşünüyoruz. Adet görmek; vücudumuzda acıkmak kadar doğal bir ihtiyaçtır. Fakat acıktığımızda kimse bizi itelemez. Maalesef dünyada birçok kadın adet gördüğü için hakarete, aşağılanmaya ve şiddete maruz kalıyor. Bununla birlikte adet gören kadınların büyük bir kısmı adet görmenin dalga konusu olduğunu görüyor. Bir kadın gergin olduğunda kendisine ‘’Kesin adet olmuştur.’’ gözüyle bakan çok insan var. Bunu hem erkekler hem de kadınlar yapıyor. Bunun gibi pek çok dalga konusuna siz de şahit olmuşsunuzdur. Bir de adet görmeyi açıkça ifade edememek var. ‘’Hasta oldum.’’ cümlesi bu konuda başı çeken kalıp cümlelerden en sık duyulanı. Açıkça ‘’Adet dönemimdeyim.’’ diyen bir kadın da bunu utana sıkıla, yüzü kızararak dile getirmekte.

Oysaki adet görmek saklamanız gereken bir durum değildir. Eğer siz bu konuda kendinizi açıkça ifade edebilirseniz sizinle birlikte başka kadınlar da cesaretlenir ve artık adet görmenin doğal bir ihtiyaç olduğunun farkına varır.
