Ohm (Chainrattle), the Feral Kenku Cleric

So I figured I'd get the beastial races out of the way for our party. His name is literally Ohm "Chainrattle" (the sound). A character who has been nothing but a boon to the party but, with a pension to get in trouble involving children (by killing them). He was raised by wolves what can you expect. He is a hilarious character to play with and the person emulates his personality amazingly. He has bits of moss growing amoungst his feathers and only stares at you. He cannot talk unless it is mimicry, so he is essentially mute.

Tapin, the Tabaxi Rogue

I know I said I would do 'Kestrel' for my current D&D 5e party (of which there are now 10 of us in a party now). I was planning on doing full body pieces but, since there are so many of us I am going to do busts of each of them and possibly frame them in simple frames for everyone.

Tapen was one of the first PC my character met. I went through a few iterations of him before reaching what the player said was what he looked like. I may still do a full body action pose for each of them at some point. However I think this is a good start for getting their concept down.

Tapen has the body shape of a ragdoll but is medium coat and the realistic patterning of a Siberian Tiger. I like how it came out and may take the time to do some color with it but, I have always enjoyed line art for the openness of imagination.

Also still don't have a proper scanner but want to save for the Hurion on-screen tablet to transition into digital with a traditional feel to it.

Tobin the Sturdy

He is a Firbolg whom is the step-father of Stellos Jones, the Tabaxi. Treating and doting upon him as though his own son. He does in honor of his wife, Stellos' mother. While he mourns the death of his wife he dedicates his time being "Best Dad" and watching over Stellos.

Time Elapse: 2.5 days

This is an attempt at using Sketchbook Pro with the Copic Markers. I really like how it came out. This is my first piece that I have finished using my new laptop. I am super proud and happy how things came out.

For me it is really a proof of concept that I can do it. I just need to keep practicing and tweaking the settings of the digital stuff. I really too k my time with it trying a number of effect and trying to figure how it would look and to be honest I am like digital art too.

Also I am now in Nevada for temporary work and am open to the idea of people wanting me to do quick sketches/commissions for a few bucks. I would have a couple options. Sketch, line, and shadowing, full color. I can work out a price but, most likely starting at about $5 or $6 USD.

Crafter's Resolution No. 04

Chevron Patterned Tarot Pouch/Bag

So I have been busy knitting away with the LB-Homespun yarn. I use to make and sell simple dice pouches. Well there is a lot of it. I currently pulled three colors out of my storage box and have about 3-4 of these little guys.

The first two I made are already spoken for and belong to two of my dear friends but, I will be giving the rest away. Maybe as a give away here, considering I cannot sell these due to the pattern's copyright. So I will keep people updated on this because I would love for people to have them and make use of them.

Still more to come soon I will be out of yarn and can move into my dream to make and sell stuff exclusively from natural fibers.

Say hello to my new laptop!

It is one of those darn fancy machine that turn into a tablet when I fold it. Originally planned on buying an $800 on screen tablet and a $600-$800 laptop. Since mine is falling apart. People kept pushing me towards the Windows Surface, which sure is nice but not $2k nice. This one was a display model so I got it for about $500. I spent the full price to get protection, the pen, a case and other things for it. Which was about $800.

Initial opinion. I am naturally taking to the touch screen and use it as much as I do the keyboard. Corntana freaks me out and I don't know how to use her. And it's taking me some time to get use to on-screen forart but I like it better.

For those wondering it's an Asus Q505 with a bamboo ink pen.

Crafter's Resolution. No. 02

Brioche Infinity Scarf

This was originally a Christmas gift for a friend of mine's mother. However because of my nomadic life-style, I misplaced it in a move and couldn't find it for the life of me. Until recently. Now it is done and I plan to give it to them for either Mother's Day or their Birthday, which ever comes first.

Still more projects to come. Going strong at least

Well got on a crafting kick but realized I didn't have any spindles to spin wool. I personally didn't have the money to afford a +$35.00USD spindle, so I made one. I did a bunch of colors with polymer clay.

I am very happy it came out very well balanced. This is one of four that I can make with the supplies I got.

They are going to be psychedelic AF and I love them. I may just start making a bunch and giving them away. Especially the four color blends

Stellos Jones, the Tabaxi

Stellos is a Tabaxi who has a "love for the vices of the City". He is a second Tabaxi in the game that I have meet with a weakness for carnal pleasure as a flaw. He looks more akin to a tabby color of an Oriental Shorthair.

New Year's Resolutions

So one of six resolutions that I have this year is to finish as many of the half started projects I have to try and get rid of some clutter in a pleasurable and productive way. Most of these are yarn, leather, and chainmail. However a number are sketches and writings. Many of these things we're meant to be gifts and I had lost considering I have often lived like a nomad, with only a small storage unit for my things.

The plan for this year is to finish as many as I can and give them away or donate them. I want to take pictures of each thing I complete and who it is for.

This should hopefully rack of to a good year of crafting, writing and, artistry.

NANOWRIMO Day 12: Finally Time... TO WRITE

I have the week of from work which is slightly stressful in of itself but, that means that I can bang out some serious progress. Hopefully on getting some writing done and some sudden topics that I need to take some time to research properly...and of course clean my house. Regardless, I hope this will be productive and fruitful. The Monday has started a touch slow.

Finally started up my chainmail weaving as part of my resoultions. This is my first one of all the dice I have. I have about 50 or so D20s with no where to go. I will still tweak as I go.

Also I am nearly don't with an infinity scarf I have been working on for literally years. Mostly because I lost the project in boxes. Woops.
