interesting request! imo, the biggest issue (in canonical sense) that they all will face due to the Reader being famous is protection. if she's always in limelight, it'll become difficult for them to act as they please in order to protect her..

⭐ He may be able to erase traces of his own history but he's very bad at dealing with the paparazzi. Any time he senses paparazzi spying on you two during your dates, he uses his evol to teleport you both away.

⭐ However, that doesn't always work. And when it doesn't, he walks right up to them and forces them to delete the pics taken.

⭐ He's never had any issues with your fame but what he doesn't enjoy is the attention it brings upon you, and by extension, upon him as well. Once the news of you dating some deepspace hunter breaks out, he starts getting scouted by random entertainment labels. They think his handsome face and skills will prove amazing for action movies.

⭐ Your fans will try spreading conspiracy theories about how he could be the one behind the infamous masked vigilante named Lumiere. There's also fans who seem to like him and have spread rumors about how he saved you from a hoard of wanderers, causing you to immediately fall for him.

About Xavier’s online presence, virality and what it could mean for his identity

I find it interesting that he often ends up in front of a camera somehow, someway despite wanting to be “lowkey.” It makes sense that he’d avoid any type of photograph or video since he’s been around for so long, and having records of his existence could be detrimental and suspicious, but I wonder if meeting MC just has him throwing caution to the wind. Or maybe it’s because he thinks it’s his last “spring” so it’s like, whatever.

I always believed that he definitely had gone viral before, and the 4 star card that just dropped validates me, lol.

This text above happened before the myth card, aka before the movie, so I also think he got the gig from this. Wouldn’t be surprised if producers especially asked for him.

So, he has a sort of online presence. You’d probably could search pictures of him online. He’s been on a TV ad, has interviews and pictures of him going around, has his name in the Lumiere movie credits, not to mention his face was posted for promo by the movie’s account. It’s like if your face got posted on twitter by Marvel. Like, it’s not lowkey… at all.

Lumiere is a huge IP. It’s a brand at this point, of course it’s huge, there’s nothing people love more than /based on a true story/ and /superheroes/. Lumiere is beyond celebrity status and has become an icon in its own right. But that also means, he’s immensely talked about. There’s probably forums and online discussions about his identity—who he is, where he’s gone. Like, he probably has a Netflix documentary. Zooming in and dissecting grainy pictures of Lumiere, trying to get whatever detail they can. Mannerisms, physical appearance, fighting strategy, and god knows what else. I imagine he’s been picked apart to exhaustion.

With fame and mystique comes the conspiracies. So, they got his basic characteristics—build, hair color, fighting strategy, his fucking /evol/. And maybe even add in a witness report. Imagine somebody saw his eyes, heard his voice.

And then there’s Xavier, a notable and talented hunter who just so happens to sort of resemble Lumiere, and sort of fights like him, and his evol sort of looks like his. And you know this because it’s all fucking online.

It’s not hard to put two and two together. But hey, it’s just a conspiracy.

You think that with him being around for so long, he’d be wary of cameras, of leaving a trail. But he doesn’t seem to mind, or at least doesn’t act paranoid about it. I don’t know if it’s nothing or if it’s an intentional thing planted by the devs. To have his real identity leaked would be a mess—the public reaction, the pr nightmare. And there’s also the actual bounty on his head, how easy it would be to find him now.

I think somebody’s bound to find out. And for the sake of the plot and my own entertainment, I kinda hope they do 😁

SCAD Savannah Film Fest: ‘Blitz’ to Open, ‘Emilia Pérez’ and ‘Anora’ Stars Among 11 Honorees

The fest will fête a host of top talent including Annette Bening, Jerry Bruckheimer, Colman Domingo, Karla Sofia Gascón, Jharrel Jerome, Richard Linklater, Mikey Madison, Isabela Merced, Steve McQueen, Lupita Nyong’o, Daisy Ridley and Sebastian Stan.

The SCAD Savannah Film Festival, an increasingly important stop on the road to the Oscars, will kick off its 2024 edition on Oct. 26 with a screening of Apple’s Blitz — writer/director Steve McQueen will be on hand to collect the fest’s Outstanding Achievement in Directing Award — and will also screen many other top awards contenders including Netflix’s Emilia Pérez, Neon’s Anora, A24’s Sing Sing and DreamWorks’ The Wild Robot, The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively report.

A host of prominent individuals who are in awards contention will make appearances — and collect special honors — at the largest university-run film festival in the nation.

A trio of best actress contenders will be on hand: Karla Sofía Gascón will receive the Distinguished Performance Award at a screening of Emilia Pérez; Mikey Madison will receive the Breakthrough Award at a screening of Anora; and Daisy Ridley will receive the Lumiere Award in recognition of her current projects Magpie and Young Woman and the Sea.

As will be three best actor contenders: Colman Domingo will receive the Spotlight Award at a screening of Sing Sing; Sebastian Stan will receive the Maverick Award at a screening of A Different Man; and Jharrel Jerome will receive the Lumiere Award at a screening of Unstoppable.

Lupita Nyong’o, who voices a principal character in The Wild Robot, will receive the Virtuoso Award at a screening of that film. Writer/director Richard Linklater will receive the Lifetime Achievement in Screenwriting Award at a screening of Hit Man. And 23-year-old actress Isabela Merced will receive the Rising Star Award at a screening of Alien: Romulus.

Additionally, producer extraordinaire Jerry Bruckheimer, who worked on Young Woman and the Sea, will receive the Legend of Entertainment Award at an In Conversation event discussing his career; and Annette Bening will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at a screening of her 1990 film The Grifters.

“This year’s honorees epitomize the extraordinary breadth of talent within the world of cinema, from seasoned veterans to Hollywood’s rising stars,” Christina Routhier, the fest’s executive director, tells THR. “I am thrilled for our students and attendees to witness the incredible star power coming to Savannah.”

xav.ier and zay.ne, i only got to think about this one for a moment really. i feel like xav.ier would ( just like everybody else) respect zay.ne's profession but also his opinion. the star boy loves how mature zay.ne is and appreciates the way he can stay calm and collected. xav.ier's striving to be like zay.ne, honestly.

Hmm.... I mean I can entertain the question, and while I was trying to wrack my brain around for NDs out of the cast, the most common answer I came to was "that's trauma, that's a bad choice, that's trauma, that's a whole load of trauma, that's just being stubborn" etc.

But I guess... if I had to say who would most likely be ND out of the BC cast... I'd probably say:

1. zayne my beloved...he is my dream husband. childhood friend, cardiac surgeon, SARCASTIC DRY HUMOUR KING. kicks my ass at advanced kitty cards every round without a doubt.

- husband material: 11/10 (he could provide a comfortable life. he can cook and clean and likes to read and IS A NATURAL CARETAKER I LOVE HIM)

- mysteriousness: 5/10 (i do want to know about his secret research product in the arctic that's supposed to be connected to the myth storylines? AND WHAT WAS HE TREATING GRANNY FOR THAT HE DIDNT TELL US ABOUT? but otherwise i question who he is and what his intentions are the least)

2. xavier my sweet baby angel cake. been in love with him since his first appearance. seems like he'd be soft but hangs out in bars and wears leather jackets and IS SO FLIRTY??? WHY ARE WE ROLEPLAYING DESTINY CAFE?

- husband material: 9.5/10 (would kill for you without hesitation. absolutely devoted to you. loses .5 bcs alas he cannot cook (well) and is the beige flag husband who tells you the tea but cannot deliver the details bcs he did not ask. he was too sleepy.

- mysteriousness: 9/10 why is he here in this timeline why is he looking for a specific protocore why did his pal jeremiah almost say that is was nice to see us again?? how does he know us what is the connection and why is he helping us specifically despite the nonintervention protocol??? why does he ghost so often but is obviously keeping an eye on us??? after chapter 8 i just have so many questions

3. rafayel admittedly i did not care for him in the start. but during his nightly stroll story and especially during chapter 7 he grew on me. i see the marius in him now and that makes me love him!! he is so dramatic and funny and the interactions with him are always entertaining

husband material: 9.5/10 he's charming as fuck i'll admit! and he's rich and artsy and fights like a feral man. so much sexual tension. loses .5 bcs he is very secretive and every favour needs to be returned so far so hmmm....sus

With the way the LaDS men are introduced they fit so well into a nice old fashioned murder mystery or whodunnit.

MC: The detective ( of course)

Xav: A PI who used to be a part of the force, and left for unknown reasons before MC joins. Seems super suspicious because he keeps popping up during the investigation asking around. But when MC confronts him it turns out he's pursuing the case for personal reasons and is definitely above board so they become partners. Bonus points if his PI persona is the world renowned Lumiere who has a perfect record even though no one ever sees him investigate.

Zayne: Coroner/ forensic pathologist. Need I say more. Keep the childhood friend background story, and also knows Xav from his time working with him, but only by name so he doesn't know what he looks like (for antics). OR the doctor of the small town this murder occurs in, happens to be MC childhood friend and they reunite after years on the case. Honestly he just needs to appear the same way as in the game it's already a murder mystery when he shows up.

Raf: Like above, pretty much stays himself. Shady artist who is a suspect of the crime, but is cleared of suspicion with a good alibi. Starts to "help" MC with the case. Is actually the criminal but because the case is practically nonexistent and he won't confess he probably gets away with it, and the motive like in game is probably vengeance

Sylus: Also close to himself, shady mob boss who becomes primary suspect. Upon meeting him he's....himself really. Gets entertained by the new feisty detective who actually dared to meet him face to face (and for once he didn't even do anything). Decides to help out with infuriatingly vague hints, and investigates himself to see who may be ruining his reputation. Goes along with MC when they investigate in the shadier parts of town with some BS reason like making sure they don't stir up trouble or he just happened to be conducting business in the area.

hoo-boy, many things come in mind, if I have more free time and passion I'd have just rewrote the series after the end of the elf arc, some examples:

instead of julius remaining a wk, I'd have made him step down and lose all his political power with someone else declared the next wk after him because, IMO, julius is the reason why clover kingdom is incapable from changing.

instead of having asta go out of his way to prove his innocent to a bunch of shitty people for a crime he never committed so that he remain on their good side... I'd have made him kicked out from the magic knights, fully exiled, and labelled as an outlaw with the bulls which led to their journey across the continet, AND THEN, asta will return to the kingdom protecting it on his own terms because the asta I love should be a free soul like lumiere, not a system slave like julius.

I also have some examples for the manga, like how I'd have made the spade kingdom arc focus only on megicula & dark triad, and how I'd have included a follow up underworld arc that focus on lucifero & the other devils, and how I'd have made the black bulls reach asta in hino to cheer him up out of his depression and explore yami's land.

easy answer is Gauche but let's talk about someone different this time, like the Dark Triad? I'm not sure if they're unpopular but while I'm a huge fan of the elves they're nowhere near as intimidating and intriguing and investable (to me) as those three bastards who show up one day and dogwalk the good guys like it's just another teusday and that was the hypest I've ever been with the series, plus they are siblings, are family, and I think that's cool? I wish tabata did more to them instead of putting them aside to clear the stage for their devils and brother tho.

I should make it clear, however, that the only dark triad that stirs any strong emotions from me on his/her own is dante. I love-hate dante. he's entertaining and full of personailty but he's also a bitchy wet rat who should be beaten down to kiss the ground more <3

Story behind it:

I misheard my husband and I thought he was singing “Be Agreste!” to the tune of “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast and inspired this to happen… (Also Gabriel’s new outfit makes him look like a candle)

This was sitting in my WIPs basket never to see the light of day, but it was my crack prediction for Hawkmoth’s showdown. It’s fitting to his penchant for being dramatic!

Without further ado, here what my brain came up with, imagining this scene as the Final showdown between Hawkmoth and Ladybug.

Picture this:

Adrien and Marinette just got engaged, and Gabriel looks at his phone to see the photo of them on Instagram with an engagement ring on her finger. The rock was huge and garish, Gabriel obviously had no part in it because it was too common.

The problem was, Gabriel already knew that Marinette was Ladybug. He, of course, doesn’t know about his son’s secret identity, but that may be a story for later. So he says to himself or Nooroo, or for the sake of villains explaining themselves in monologue form.

“My son is engaged to Ladybug? Why this is the perfect opportunity for a trap of epic proportions!”

Then he invites Marinette to dinner, and she’s expecting Adrien there, it was apparently to celebrate their engagement afterall, but as she walks towards large ominous dining table in the mansion she meets an image of her future father in law, in his white-ass suit, looking like a fucking candle.

“Ma chère Mademoiselle, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight,” and Gabriel now tips his top hat. “And now we invite you to relax. Let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents… Your dinner!”

Marinette sees Nooroo flying above her and she gasps, transforming into Ladybug as she sees Gabriel surprisingly break out into a song and dance.

She presses the buttons that open up the door from Emelie’s portrait. For some reason, the music is still playing, as Gabe sings:

Chat Noir is taking Gabriel away, and Ladybug narrows her eyes as she realised that he’s humming along

“Be Agreste! Be Agreste! Be Agreste!”

This arouses Ladybug’s suspicions.

“How long have you been here?”

Chat blushes and grins sheepishly. “Long enough,” he shrugs.

Ladybug is now angry as she jabs a finger at him. “You made me listen to the whole song?!”

Chat rubs his neck nervously and grins at his fiancée. “It was kinda catchy?”

i made these ocs back in like 2022 and my art style improves at a rapid pace, so they're well over due for redesigns. here are the performers/workers though :3c

- cirque de lumiere / circus of light is a french circus upholding a reputation of it being one of the greatest in france, with performances consisting of a giant cheshire cat, world's tallest man, even one of the most spectacular magicians. though, more sinister things happen under the big top

fratellini / The Saint or "Saint the Fool" (knife-juggling clown, she/her). she's very silly and likes to mess with the other performers. montblanc is her best friend

françois / "François the Great" (magician, he/him). flamboyant fuck that does all the "mind-controlling" at the circus. he likes to bother aesop, working with him to steal other's belongings when they're not looking

aesop / "He Who Talks to Crows" (crow tamer, he/him). obviously, he tames crows. kinda like a lion tamer, but his crows steal jewelry from the audience when they are too busy being enamored by the show

montblanc / "The Cheshire" (cheshire cat, he/him). veery giddy kitty. his voice claim is of course, sterling holloway (voice actor of the cheshire cat in 1951 alice in wonderland). he loves surprises and often dismisses questions, liked by everybody in the circus

apollon / "Big Top" (strongman, he/him). i haven't got to redrawing him yet so the anatomy is off ^^; it's the original drawing. anyways he's cocky and a big show-off. yes he's half spider

as you can see montblanc is also a recent drawing which i haven't colored yet

cassius / "Cassius the Warrior" (stuntman, he/him). he isn't really developed that well, but he performs dangerous stunts for the audience, though he's very jumpy. works well with montblanc and jack

mister (or wilheim) / "The Living Nutcracker" (nutcracker idk what he does, he/him). he's also Severely underdeveloped. made him as a christmas special and revealed him on christmas day last year. he lives up to the whole british soldier thing, he does whatever he is told to do n stuff

vivienne / "Black Widow" (vaudeville/cabaret?, she/her). she's kind of a flirt, she puts on performances for the more mature audiences. i like her and this drawing just made me realize how tall she is

now THIS is old. vivienne is the only one i drew recently, i'll be putting her at the end. also cassius' design was designed by a friend:3

chono (ringmaster, he/him). he's the lead of the circus, very very evil

nato (he/him) is chono's assistant. he's on high alert a good amount of the time

jack (or jacqueline) / "Jack-in-the-Box" (surprise performer, she/her). she loves to surprise people when fratellini cranks the handle on her box and she pops out. she can be foul-mouthed and rude, always getting in people's faces n' such

...yyeaah this one is also old. though i made some adjustments to the colors a few months ago, the style and stuff is still old

vanitas (or nicolaes) / "Memento Mori" (puppeteer, he/him) is the nicest circus performer. he puts on puppet shows, when he speaks he adapts the personality of what puppet he's using, and he'll often make up a conversation. his puppets are commedia dell'arte characters. when not using any puppet, he talks normally + he's polite. his 'face' is a mask by the way

this drawing i made like 3 days ago lol. it's his redesign concept, his original one i just went head-first and i still don't like it >.>

and last but not least these two. first we have baroness (or marie-christine) / "Dangerously Yours" (singing entertainment, she/her). she also puts on shows for the more mature audiences, in which she'll sing on a stage. her songs are often quite dark, the audience never realizes it though. her design is also by the friend who made cassius

and on the right is primadonna (or marcel. mime, she/her) who is, of course, a mime. i think her face is her actual face. my sister helped design this one

i made these doodles like, a month or two ago. just concepts so i can get their designs down

that's Allll for the circus performersssss ^w^^^^ hope u enjoy them. Oh and there's this other one who's been stuck in concept stage (i haven't even drawn them yet), their name is El Lissitzky, based on the real El Lissitzky's paintings. think they're gonna be a painter as well
