⭐ He's never had any issues with your fame but what he doesn't enjoy is the attention it brings upon you, and by extension, upon him as well. SCAD Savannah Film Fest: ‘Blitz’ to Open, ‘Emilia Pérez’ and ‘Anora’ Stars Among 11 Honorees

The SCAD Savannah Film Festival, an increasingly important stop on the road to the Oscars, will kick off its 2024 edition on Oct. 26 with a screening of Apple’s Blitz — writer/director Steve McQueen will be on hand to collect the fest’s Outstanding Achievement in Directing Award — and will also screen many other top awards contenders including Netflix’s Emilia Pérez, Neon’s Anora, A24’s Sing Sing and DreamWorks’ The Wild Robot, The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively report.

A host of prominent individuals who are in awards contention will make appearances — and collect special honors — at the largest university-run film festival in the nation.

A trio of best actress contenders will be on hand: Karla Sofía Gascón will receive the Distinguished Performance Award at a screening of Emilia Pérez; Mikey Madison will receive the Breakthrough Award at a screening of Anora; and Daisy Ridley will receive the Lumiere Award in recognition of her current projects Magpie and Young Woman and the Sea.

As will be three best actor contenders: Colman Domingo will receive the Spotlight Award at a screening of Sing Sing; Sebastian Stan will receive the Maverick Award at a screening of A Different Man; and Jharrel Jerome will receive the Lumiere Award at a screening of Unstoppable.

ok this is just a curious question and you don't have to answer it if it's not your thing, but who would you headcanon as neurodivergent out of black clover cast?

Hmm.... I mean I can entertain the question, and while I was trying to wrack my brain around for NDs out of the cast, the most common answer I came to was "that's trauma, that's a bad choice, that's trauma, that's a whole load of trauma, that's just being stubborn" etc.

But I guess... if I had to say who would most likely be ND out of the BC cast... I'd probably say:

17. Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…

hoo-boy, many things come in mind, if I have more free time and passion I'd have just rewrote the series after the end of the elf arc, some examples:

instead of julius remaining a wk, I'd have made him step down and lose all his political power with someone else declared the next wk after him because, IMO, julius is the reason why clover kingdom is incapable from changing.

instead of having asta go out of his way to prove his innocent to a bunch of shitty people for a crime he never committed so that he remain on their good side... I'd have made him kicked out from the magic knights, fully exiled, and labelled as an outlaw with the bulls which led to their journey across the continet, AND THEN, asta will return to the kingdom protecting it on his own terms because the asta I love should be a free soul like lumiere, not a system slave like julius.

I also have some examples for the manga, like how I'd have made the spade kingdom arc focus only on megicula & dark triad, and how I'd have included a follow up underworld arc that focus on lucifero & the other devils, and how I'd have made the black bulls reach asta in hino to cheer him up out of his depression and explore yami's land.

easy answer is Gauche but let's talk about someone different this time, like the Dark Triad? I'm not sure if they're unpopular but while I'm a huge fan of the elves they're nowhere near as intimidating and intriguing and investable (to me) as those three bastards who show up one day and dogwalk the good guys like it's just another teusday and that was the hypest I've ever been with the series, plus they are siblings, are family, and I think that's cool? I wish tabata did more to them instead of putting them aside to clear the stage for their devils and brother tho.

I should make it clear, however, that the only dark triad that stirs any strong emotions from me on his/her own is dante. I love-hate dante. he's entertaining and full of personailty but he's also a bitchy wet rat who should be beaten down to kiss the ground more <3

This was sitting in my WIPs basket never to see the light of day, but it was my crack prediction for Hawkmoth’s showdown. It’s fitting to his penchant for being dramatic!

Picture this:

Adrien and Marinette just got engaged, and Gabriel looks at his phone to see the photo of them on Instagram with an engagement ring on her finger. The rock was huge and garish, Gabriel obviously had no part in it because it was too common.

The problem was, Gabriel already knew that Marinette was Ladybug. He, of course, doesn’t know about his son’s secret identity, but that may be a story for later. So he says to himself or Nooroo, or for the sake of villains explaining themselves in monologue form.

“My son is engaged to Ladybug? Why this is the perfect opportunity for a trap of epic proportions!”

Then he invites Marinette to dinner, and she’s expecting Adrien there, it was apparently to celebrate their engagement afterall, but as she walks towards large ominous dining table in the mansion she meets an image of her future father in law, in his white-ass suit, looking like a fucking candle.

“Ma chère Mademoiselle, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight,” and Gabriel now tips his top hat. “And now we invite you to relax. Let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents… Your dinner!”

Marinette sees Nooroo flying above her and she gasps, transforming into Ladybug as she sees Gabriel surprisingly break out into a song and dance.

Hawkmoth holds his hand out to Ladybug who is still fighting the akuma.

He is cut off at this point because Ladybug breaks the Akuma mask just as Chat Noir breaks through the rose window and knocks out Gabriel.

“About time!” Ladybug sighs with relief.

Chat Noir is taking Gabriel away, and Ladybug narrows her eyes as she realised that he’s humming along

“Be Agreste! Be Agreste! Be Agreste!”

This arouses Ladybug’s suspicions.

“How long have you been here?”

Chat blushes and grins sheepishly. “Long enough,” he shrugs.

Ladybug is now angry as she jabs a finger at him. “You made me listen to the whole song?!”

Chat rubs his neck nervously and grins at his fiancée. “It was kinda catchy?”

I haven't drawn one of the two yet cuz i didn't have motivation. I'll show my evil circus ocs though

i made these ocs back in like 2022 and my art style improves at a rapid pace, so they're well over due for redesigns. here are the performers/workers though :3c

- cirque de lumiere / circus of light is a french circus upholding a reputation of it being one of the greatest in france, with performances consisting of a giant cheshire cat, world's tallest man, even one of the most spectacular magicians. though, more sinister things happen under the big top

fratellini / The Saint or "Saint the Fool" (knife-juggling clown, she/her). she's very silly and likes to mess with the other performers. montblanc is her best friend

françois / "François the Great" (magician, he/him). flamboyant fuck that does all the "mind-controlling" at the circus. he likes to bother aesop, working with him to steal other's belongings when they're not looking

aesop / "He Who Talks to Crows" (crow tamer, he/him). obviously, he tames crows. kinda like a lion tamer, but his crows steal jewelry from the audience when they are too busy being enamored by the show

^^^ this drawing was made 2 months ago, just haven't got to coloring it. it is a redesign for them though, the names on the bottom are their former names cuz i changed them (or their stage names)

montblanc / "The Cheshire" (cheshire cat, he/him). veery giddy kitty. his voice claim is of course, sterling holloway (voice actor of the cheshire cat in 1951 alice in wonderland). he loves surprises and often dismisses questions, liked by everybody in the circus

apollon / "Big Top" (strongman, he/him). i haven't got to redrawing him yet so the anatomy is off ^^; it's the original drawing. anyways he's cocky and a big show-off. yes he's half spider

as you can see montblanc is also a recent drawing which i haven't colored yet

cassius / "Cassius the Warrior" (stuntman, he/him). he isn't really developed that well, but he performs dangerous stunts for the audience, though he's very jumpy. works well with montblanc and jack

mister (or wilheim) / "The Living Nutcracker" (nutcracker idk what he does, he/him). he's also Severely underdeveloped. made him as a christmas special and revealed him on christmas day last year. he lives up to the whole british soldier thing, he does whatever he is told to do n stuff

vivienne / "Black Widow" (vaudeville/cabaret?, she/her). she's kind of a flirt, she puts on performances for the more mature audiences. i like her and this drawing just made me realize how tall she is

now THIS is old. vivienne is the only one i drew recently, i'll be putting her at the end. also cassius' design was designed by a friend:3

chono (ringmaster, he/him). he's the lead of the circus, very very evil

nato (he/him) is chono's assistant. he's on high alert a good amount of the time

jack (or jacqueline) / "Jack-in-the-Box" (surprise performer, she/her). she loves to surprise people when fratellini cranks the handle on her box and she pops out. she can be foul-mouthed and rude, always getting in people's faces n' such

...yyeaah this one is also old. though i made some adjustments to the colors a few months ago, the style and stuff is still old

vanitas (or nicolaes) / "Memento Mori" (puppeteer, he/him) is the nicest circus performer. he puts on puppet shows, when he speaks he adapts the personality of what puppet he's using, and he'll often make up a conversation. his puppets are commedia dell'arte characters. when not using any puppet, he talks normally + he's polite. his 'face' is a mask by the way

this drawing i made like 3 days ago lol. it's his redesign concept, his original one i just went head-first and i still don't like it >.>

and last but not least these two. first we have baroness (or marie-christine) / "Dangerously Yours" (singing entertainment, she/her). she also puts on shows for the more mature audiences, in which she'll sing on a stage. her songs are often quite dark, the audience never realizes it though. her design is also by the friend who made cassius

and on the right is primadonna (or marcel. mime, she/her) who is, of course, a mime. i think her face is her actual face. my sister helped design this one

i made these doodles like, a month or two ago. just concepts so i can get their designs down

that's Allll for the circus performersssss ^w^^^^ hope u enjoy them. Oh and there's this other one who's been stuck in concept stage (i haven't even drawn them yet), their name is El Lissitzky, based on the real El Lissitzky's paintings. think they're gonna be a painter as well
