HAPPY BIRTHDAY, lovely. Of course, I got a little something for you.

"Sammy, not so loud," Dean grumbles as Sam practices singing Happy Birthday in the kitchen. "If you can sing now, you're a lost cause."

"Dude, I can sing better than you," Sam bites back. "Why all the shushing and secrets? She knows we won’t forget her birthday!”

“You don’t know that” the elder brother tuts. “I prepared everything to give her the perfect birthday. I want to surprise my girl…uh—I mean our girl.”

“Dean, we both know you are head over heels for her,” Sam grins. “Now, what else can I do?” He looks at the cake, snacks, and beverages on the kitchen island. “I already wrapped my gifts too.”

“I got something special for her,” Dean grins. “She will love it. I will make her dinner too. Just for the two of us. So, sorry Sammy. You gotta go to your room tonight and eat alone.”

“If it makes her happy, I gladly leave the bunker for a week,” Sam chuckles as he walks out of the kitchen. “But let me give her the gifts I bought first.”

“Alright,” Dean looks around the library. He decorated the whole room with all the crap he usually hates. Candles, napkins saying happy birthday, garlands, balloons, and of course, a birthday cake with your name on it.

Dean hums. Everything looks perfect. 

“Dean?” you huff. “DEAN! Where are you?” you’re a little angry. Dean sent you to a grocery run, only for you to forget your wallet. “I forgot my money and…”

You walk into the library in search of Dean. “What is…?” you gasp. 

“Happy birthday, sweetheart!” he wraps you in a bear hug, taking your breath away. Dean starts to slow dance with you, making you laugh as he hates to dance. At least he loves to tell you so.

“You did all this for me, Dean?”

“All for my best girl,” he smirks as you lift your head to look him in the eyes. “Sammy helped a little with the garlands. Freaking sasquatch.”

“Thank you,” you sniff. “I thought…”

“Anytime, sweetheart. How about we have a slice of cake and look at all the gifts we got you? Later, we have dinner. Only you and I.”

“…only you and I, Dean,” you smile. Your birthday couldn’t be better. Dean Winchester prepared a birthday party for you. And it’s only you and him…

“Hey! What about us?” Sam calls from the hallways. “Can we all join the surprise party now or not? Is the surprise that we will end up left outside?”

“Do you want to join them?” Dean quirks a brow. “I can send them home.”

��No, let them join,” you take his offered hand. “We have so much cake. It’s enough for everyone…”

A Birthday in Hell

Alastor x Reader

Word Count: 548 Words

You weren't brand new to Hell, but you were still learning the in's and the out's.

Who knew anyone would still give a whiff about someone's birthday of all things...but, Alastor the Radio Demon did.

You didn't even remember ever telling him when it was; that today was the day you took your first breath of life in the land of the living all those years ago.

It seemed comically pointless now, to remember or celebrate such a thing.

Yet, there you were, waking up beside him in his room at the Hazbin Hotel. He was warmly kissing you, and nuzzling at your neck, wishing you the happiest of birthdays.

You showered and dressed, thinking not very much of it after that. When you were done, he had your favorite breakfast there and ready for you to enjoy with him at the table within the bayou. He had some things to see to that day, and he apologized that he wouldn't get to spend more of it with you. 

"Charlie has a full day planned, so I'm sure you'll be thoroughly entertained until I get back. Tonight though... I am all yours." 

The way he said it sent a blush right up into your face. He smirked, kissed you sweetly and departed for his outing.

You find out that Charlie doesn't just have a weekly activity planned; it's a surprise birthday gathering for you! All of your friends, the residents of the hotel, are there to celebrate you and your being there with them now. Everyone’s passing out cake and ice cream. There is a gift exchange, and your favorite one is a spicey gift from Angel that you will definitely be using in the bedroom soon.

Charlie announces that the best part of your birthday surprise is an entire day spent with everyone at LuLu World. You know it's not really Alastor's scene, but you still miss him despite all the incredible rides, fantastic carnival food and all the fun you are having with everyone.

 It is an amazing day but the sugar on the cream is when you finally get to step back into his room at the hotel and find him waiting for you there.

He's got strings and strings of fairy lights strung all across the bayou and there's more fireflies skittering about than you have ever seen. Candles are set out and he's got a full Southern style dinner ready and waiting for you both to enjoy. 

"Jambalaya!?" You ask him excitedly. 

"No, uh...actually it's a gumbo." He tells you. "The Jambalaya was a recipe of manman's...tried and true, but the gumbo...the gumbo is a recipe of my own. It was her very favorite and the last time I ever made it was for her. I wanted to make it for you, tonight." 

The dinner is...indescribably perfect. You've never had food like this and wonder if you ever will again.

Alastor insists that you both stuff yourselves on the food and with the rare vintage wine he has provided; you both soon are too giddy and too full to do anything more than lay cozied up together in the grass, snuggled and cuddled up happy and warm; staring up at the brilliancy that is the night sky and enjoying the happiest of birthdays.

So… Alastor in the He Chose You-verse:

I haven’t worked out the logistics, all I know is that Alastor manages to worm his way into recurring contact with the royal family, to the point where little Charlie calls him Uncle Alastor and adores it when he wishes her a rare goodnight or happy birthday at the end of his radio shows.

The King and Queen of Hell barely tolerate his antics, but you can bet Lucifer is never more possessive and jealous than when Alastor is around his wife. One glance at Alastor holding Charlie while next to Reader, almost like they’re standing for a family portrait regardless of the context, has Lulu spitting fire (and it comes from a deep yet irrational fear that Al could possibly steal his family away — completely irrational but we’ve all got flaws).

Reader views Alastor very coolly. If he sets a hoof out of line, he will get a dressing down and the Queen is very good at ignoring Lucifer giving Alastor the double bird behind her back, no need to wonder about that. Alastor, for his part, both respects and resents her. She manages to put him on a leash yet at the same time he respects her power, and also sees her motherly attributes and is reminded of his own mom, the only being he ever cared about truly.

The jealousy the Radio Demon inspires with his petty antics that point directly at Lucifer’s insecurity do wonders for Luci and Reader’s sex life tho. Expect a Dom for a Devil if Alastor ever kissed your hand or danced with you.

LAUGHING JILL HEADCANONS

Because Wisteria talked about Laughing Jack, today Wisteria will talk about Laughing Jill :3

GENERAL HEADCANONS:

✰ Laughing Jill stands the same height as Laughing Jack, 7’4.

✰ Her age is unknown and unlike Laughing Jack she looks quite younger, with her physical appearance appearing as someone who’s in their late 20’s.

✰ Her birthday is December 24th, she doesn’t celebrate her birthday as the last time she spent it was with Mary. A day that’s supposed to be cheerfully celebrated is just a reminder that she’s lost someone important.

✰ She has a VERY STRONG Scottish accent as she was born in Scotland. Uses Scottish phrases sometimes and has to like minimize it when talking to the other proxies though…lol.

✰ Speakinggg about the other proxies, Jill is like an auntie! The kids absolutely adore her because she’s very sweet and welcoming. The kids gave her the name “Auntie Jill” :)

✰ She bakes all sorts of things! Breads, cookies, cakes, pies, everything and anything! She takes these treats and brings it over to the mansion when she visits. The bread and cookies she bakes are always in those fun shapes.

✰ Wisteria says “visits” because Laughing Jill does not live in the mansion. Instead she has her own little cute cottage out in the woods! Laughing Jill once walked into the mansion on a lovely afternoon— saw the chaos, teleported into Slendermans office and requested to stay out in the woods where it was calm. And her request got accepted! So there she stays. Out in her lovely cottage.

✰ It does get a bit lonely out there— and she misses mansion drama which she then has to be caught up on when she visits— but. Everything is okay, Laughing Jill prefers it this way anyhow. She’s not a fan of large gatherings, and she isn’t interested in drama so this lifestyle is perfect for her.

✰ Not to mention she has all sorts of hobbies, she never gets bored in her small cottage. Which can be shifted into her liking, she can add new rooms if she wishes, but as for now it’s just a small nicely decorated cottage. Outside, she has her own little garden where she grows vegetables, fruits, and flowers. With her fresh plants she’s able to cook her own delicious meals and come up with her own recipes!

✰ Laughing Jill is much more sweeter towards children. Espicslly the ones that reside in the mansion, she’s always brining them treats, crocheted items, and whatever she thinks that they’d like! As for the adults…ehhh…she brings baked goods! But, uh, that’s about it.

✰BUT! She brings more to those who she’s close with that being: Zero, Candy Pop, and Lulu! She has a much closer bond to these three, which means she brings gifts to them whenever she’s on those visits! Which happen…like. Two times a month… (she really does not like going to the mansion.)

✰ She owns three…ostriches….because some medieval jester (not saying names) gifted her ostrich eggs. The kids named the Rosemarie, Annabelle, and Jellybean. Though it was confusing at first have ostriches at pets she’s come to love them! She spends most of her morning taking care of them, and she doesn’t mind at all. She feeds them, brushes them, spends time hanging out with them, and honestly! She’s thinking of getting more animals! She may have a farm out there soon guys…

✰ Honestly she practically does have a farm out there. Or at least, animals seem to adore Jill. She’s quiet, and her cottage is a perfect place for them to come together and just hangout. Jill feeds the animals! She has little feeding stations put around her cottage, there’s bird feeders put out her windows so she can watch the birdies :)

✰ I also imagine she has like a rocking chair somewhere near her front porch. She sits back, either knitting, looking at the newspaper, or reading. She has her reading glasses on and she occasionally looks up to watch the animals that walk by her cottage. She smiles and gestures for them to get closer so she can give them a treat. It’s perfect! Her like is perfect!

✰ Her personally is well…like a sweet old grandma. She treats everyone practically the same, showing them respect and kindness! I imagine she has those like hard candies that grannies give out…but seriously! She doesn’t have any problems with anyone in the mansion— except for…except for Laughing Jack…

…

✰ Jill absolutely hates that other clown. Every time he speaks her smile leaves her face and her eyes twitch. She has to stop herself from chasing him with her chainsaw…and it’s not like she’s wrong for hating him. He kills children! And EATS THEM…! She’s justified!

✰ But uhm, yeah. The clowns don’t get along at all. In fact if they were to be left alone in room for a few seconds they would be trying to kill each other.

✰ OH YEAHHH!!! Her weapon is a beautiful black and white chainsaw which she decorated herself! There’s stickers on it and silly charms. Shes able to spawn it at will and it’s sharper than anything. It’s heavy to anyone that isn’t Jill! Meaning only shes able wield it as it was made for her.

She’s literally the sweetest…Wisteria loves Laughing Jill so much…sniffles…Wisteria misses her guys…

My camera roll is getting full, you think to yourself with a frown, flicking through the pictures on your camera.

"What are you frowning for?" you hear your boyfriend grouch from behind you.

His hand comes to slip around your waist and drag you closer to him. He smells sharp, like the smell of cold. "I'm running out of film. And I don't want to delete any of these."

Each picture in that camera was a memory you'd hate to erase.

Like the one you took during Ghiaccio's birthday celebration. Your poor boyfriend looked so grumpy in the photo, with his cute little party hat, sat in front of a birthday cake, complete with candles and everything. But you knew, moments after that photo had been taken, he swept you into his arms and kissed you silly. Saying he didn't need to wish on the candles because he had everything he wished for in you.

Or the one you'd taken at Gelato's militia commemoration. Gelato was beautifully decorated in all of his old military medals, uniform and all. Sorbet hadn't been able to keep his hands off of him at all, and it was obvious in the picture. Even though Gelato was stood at attention, Sorbet was hanging off of him still.

There was another of one of yours and Ghiaccio's dates. At an ice rink! You'd spent the day racing each other, practicing tricks, pushing each other over. You'd felt so warm that day that the cold of the ice rink hadn't bothered you once.

Or! Or the one you'd taken the day of that disastrous mission! Everyone had been called in at the last minute after something went wrong, and you'd taken a picture of the whole squad together. Covered in blood and tired and messy, but alive.

It was moments like these that you couldn't bear to lose. The squad was your family, for all intent and purposes.

Ghiaccio snaps you out of your thoughts by hooking his chin over your shoulder and pointing to the camera. The photo that was open was of when it had been Risotto's cousin's death day. Everything had been so somber...

"We could make a photo album."

His suggestion opens worlds for you. You could keep all of your pictures! Not keep them on a hard drive that held the risk of being compromised, or worse, deleted by accident.

"We should!"

Ghiaccio's breath fans across your neck when he chuckles. I'm surprised you haven't made one yet."

You snicker quietly. "Yeah, I don't know why I never thought of doing one before."

"Well, you've got more important things on the mind."

You spin around so you can pull him forward for a surprise kiss. "Yeah. I've got you on the brain."

"That's such a stupid saying. I'm not on your brain. I can't even physically touch your brain or you'd die." Despite his frustrated little grumbles, his face was burning red with a flustered blush.

He was too cute, really.

Teppo was distraught after Lulu's death. The alien twins had their birthday. Funny Will shirt... To cheer up Teppo met up with Varpu, whom he had three bolts with. They went on a date to a new diner in town and ended up getting engaged and later married since Teppo wished for that. The family got a new pet, Hiiri, and Hammahii was cute as ever.
