fate vr world au things: jiang ziya and arjuna disclosing rumors about each other saving the common people / spirits and demons in vague terms but making sure to talk about how handsome/skilled/etc. the other is while they're at it

🥳🥳That’s the end of the Summer of Bad Batch 2024 prompt list…feel free to use all prompts and tags forever and ever🥳🥳
You can find the Ao3 collection HERE!
And I know that sometimes, it can be a pain to figure out how to add to collections (please tell me I'm not the ONLY one who has struggled with this 😭), so here's a step by step!
STEP ONE: Post a New Work OR Edit an existing work.
STEP TWO: Under the Associations category, you’ll see “Post to Collections / Challenges”
STEP THREE: Type summerofbadbatch2024 (no spaces)
STEP FOUR: This is where it gets tricky...the collection may or may not auto populate. If it doesn't, that's okay. Just leave summerofbadbatch2024 in there as is, and save the post (you can even save it as a draft and see if it worked!) It should add it to the collection even if it didn't auto populate 🤓
Q: What is Summer of Bad Batch??
A: Summer of Bad Batch is a laidback, summer prompt challenge from June 1st-August 31st. Every Sunday (12am CST), a prompt and alternative prompt will be released to inspire creativity in the Star Wars: The Bad Batch fandom! By filling prompts by August 31st, you can qualify as a:
Participant (completed 1-12 prompts)
Completionist (completed 13+ prompts)
Overachiever (completed 13 main prompts + the 13 alternative prompts)
At the end of the challenge, there will be a form for participants to fill out to let me know what category of completion they fall into. A post will be made for each category giving a shoutout and (if you’d like) a link to your Master List of completed prompt fills.
Q: What can I do to fill a prompt?
A: Anything you want! Fanfic, fan art, drabbles, doodles, cartoons, poetry...the possibilities are endless! The only real criteria is that it has to be based on Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
Q: Will you reblog prompt fills?
A: Yes! However, since I am keeping this blog PG, I will only reblog prompt fills that fit within that criteria. Basically, if it could be in the literal show itself, it could be reblogged here ☺️
(That said, I won’t reblog any clone x clone content simply because it is one of my main squicks 😅)
Also, make sure you tag your prompt fills! That's the only way I'll be able to find them in the wide world of Tumblr! So, tag your prompt fills with #summerofbadbatch2024 so I (and anyone else who is looking for Summer of Bad Batch goodness!) can find your posts!
(And everything is welcome on the Ao3 Summer of Bad Batch 2024 Collection — so make sure to add to it if you’re on Ao3!)
Q: When will prompts be released?
A: Every Sunday (with the exception of Week 1, which will have a special release date of Saturday, June 1st) at 12am CST.
Q: What if I don’t understand a prompt?
A: Send me a message or an ask! I’d be happy to help!
Q: What if I don’t like the weekly prompt?
A: Every week will have an alternate prompt available! And alternate prompts can be swapped out for any main prompt, regardless of which week!
Q: Where can I post my prompt fills?
A: Anywhere you'd like! Personally, I'm only on Ao3 and Tumblr...but I know that this fandom is literally all over the internet, so wherever you feel comfortable posting, do it!!
Q: What if I don't finish filling the prompt within the week?
A: One of my favorite parts of this prompt challenge is that there are no deadlines! If you want to be a Completionist or an Overachiever, you just have to have the prompts complete by August 31st!
Finished week 2 during week 5? Great!
Finished weeks 1-13 during week 13?? 😅 That works!
Q: Do I have to post/publish my prompt fills to be considered a participant/completionist/overachiever?
A: Nope! I know not to everyone feels comfortable sharing their work, and that’s totally fine!
You don’t have to post/publish a single thing to qualify. At the end of the challenge, I’ll link a form for anyone who participated to fill out. This is all based on the honor system…so if you say you completed “such and such”…I’ll take your word for it 😊 If you want, you can still be given a shout out for whatever level of participation you said you completed. Just let me know!
Q: Can I combine prompts?
A: Yes! Mash up those prompts and make a custom, super prompt if your heart so desires!
Q: But can I combine prompts with other challenges?
A: Absolutely! If the other challenge allows it, feel free to combine Summer of Bad Batch as you see fit ✨
Q: Can I apply prompts to works I've already completed/posted?
A: Prompts should not be applied to already completed works.
But if you have a WIP that's been gathering dust that would fit the occasion, that would be fine!
Have a story that you're adding chapters to? You can apply prompts to new chapters! That's fine too!
Q: Will there be a complete prompt list available?
A: Not until after the event, since prompts will be posted weekly 😘
Q: Can I use the prompts even after the event has ended?
A: Absolutely!
You didn’t find your question here?? Send me an ask, I’d be happy to help!

I wanted to share my thoughts about the first three episodes of Bad Batch season 3 immediately after watching them, but I was too emotional about everything I saw that I needed some time to calm down a bit.
It's beyond my expectations, just perfect! From the plot, to the characters, through the beautiful graphics and wonderful music, everything was epic. This season will definitely be much more mature and dark than the others. I love Bad Batch with all my heart and words cannot describe how important these characters are to me. I don't think I will focus on each episode separately, but I will show my general feelings and thoughts.
Something that touched my heart deeply was how Omega becomes so much like Hunter. Her facial expressions, her eyes, tactical skills and that characteristic whistle! I immediately thought of Hunter. She became so mature, strong, decisive and calm in stressful situations. It's clear that she's no longer the same little child we met on Kamino in the first season. She has changed so much... Even Crosshair seems to see this, as he let her lead during his escape from Mount Tantiss. He was her support, did not question her ideas and did not hesitate to follow orders. I love watching their bond become stronger. Every day Omega came to his cell, talked about her day... and he listened... he had no choice because he couldn't just go, but I think they both needed each other's presence. They knew they were not alone and encouraged each other, in some way.
It is clear that Omega still misses the rest of her brothers and strongly believes that she will be able to return to them again, together with Crosshair. She can't imagine leaving him, it's out of the question. No matter how hard Crosshair tries to make her believe that he is not worth saving, she will still be on his side. I think Crosshair realized through her that his brothers never really wanted to leave him and were willing to take him back at any time if he just wanted...
Even though Omega has become more mature, she is still a child. Being locked in a cell, the routine and monotony of life must be very exhausting for her, because she is by nature a lively, active and curious sweet girl. She spent most of her life locked up and the only good memories she had were of freedom and her brothers, even though it wasn't for a long time. She even made herself a doll like Lula, who stayed on the Marauder with Hunter and Wrecker. This parallel symbolizes their connection, despite the enormous distance that separated them. And Batcher... Omega doesn't want to forget, she wants to remember her brothers, the love she had for them and received from them, all those good memories together... Ouch...
Somewhere in another part of the Galaxy, two brothers are desperately looking for their little sister. Their worn armor shows that they have fought hard during this time. Hunter also has different bandana... I've seen a theory that it's similar to the band Omega wore on his wrist in season two. This way, maybe Hunter wanted to always have her close to him, at least a part of her, I wonder if he can smell her scent... Oh Force, I'm gonna cry...
The sight of Hunter having difficulty working with Tech's Datapad, how desperate he is to do everything he can to find Omega, how exhausted he seems... Maybe it's just me, but he looks thinner and has paler skin than before. This breaks my heart. I'm sure he was thinking about Tech who could do the job in a second. The sight of his goggles resting alone, the empty space he once occupied... Marauder never looked so lonely... Let me tell you, I shed a tear.
I really liked how Wrecker was the voice of reason in his conversation with Hunter. It's beautiful how one look, a nod of the head, or a hand on the shoulder can bring Hunter down. They support each other and it is clear that after everything they have lost, they have become even closer. They need each other to keep from going crazy.
Even though they are the only two left, Wrecker still considers Hunter to be the leader and waits for his orders even though he knows he doesn't have to. He remains loyal. When he was talking to the little cadets on the Marauder, I was so happy when I heard his laughter. Honest, loud and heartwarming. I think he's needed this for a long time. He definitely misses the company of a child on board, he loves children so much...
I also love that little scene where Hunter is working and looks at Lula out of the corner of his eye, thinking about Omega. He can't live without her... I feel like if they were separated again, he wouldn't be able todeal with it and would just explode, showing all the anger and despair he was holding, possibly doing something stupid in the process... He loves his little Omega too much that he can't imagine life without her. He is ready to drop everything just to be able to hold her close to him, to keep her safe. I'm so scared for him.
On the one hand, I was surprised that Echo didn't stay with the boys to look for Omega, but I expected him to join Rex. They may also be searching, but I think their main goal is to free prisoners and gather as many allies as possible to create the Clone Rebellion.
I could talk for hours and still not express all my thoughts and emotions that these episodes made me feel. I can't wait for next Wednesday.

Okay, my one and only major complaint about Bad Batch is that I don't think they handled Tech's death properly (I still don't think they should have killed him off at all, but here we are; and even if they intend(ed) to leave things open-ended to maybe bring him back later, the titular characters in the show wouldn't have known that); and with all the reasons I've seen floating out there as to WHY Tech's death was handled the way it was and why the characters reacted the way they did (or didn't), I just want to explain why none of the "reasons" cut it for me. If you're satisfied with how Tech was handled in season 3, I am genuinely happy for you (and lowkey jealous, ngl 😉). I've just been thinking about this a lot and need to spell it out!
Reason #1: "Why do we need to see more of the characters mourning? What we got was enough. We don't need a 2 hour episode that's all about the characters grieving." (Yes, someone actually used "2 hours" in their argument.)
Let's recap what we got: 1) A scene where Echo looks sadly at the Marauder's pilot seat, Wrecker actually sheds some tears (bless him), Omega's in denial, and Hunter tells Omega they're going to retire on Pabu because Tech is gone... followed up almost immediately by the villain dropping off broken goggles as the only proof that Tech was ever on Eriadu; 2) a scene where the audience is shown Tech's goggles but Hunter doesn't interact with them- instead, he looks at Lula, proving that his driving motivation is recovering Omega (which is fine when taken from the perspective that he can't do anything about Tech, whereas he can do something for Omega; but that perspective is ultimately just headcanon because the show never reiterates or follows up on this); 3) Wrecker alluding to Tech (not by name) to try to convince Hunter to be more cautious; 4) Omega name-dropping Tech (wait, does Crosshair even know what happened?... yay for context clues, I guess); 5) Echo name-dropping Tech in relation to data decryption with the team looking down sadly for 5 seconds (I timed it) before Crosshair changes the subject; 6) Phee name-dropping Tech in relation to her not knowing what m-count is; 7) Crosshair referring to Tech's information on Ventress; 8) Omega leaving Tech's goggles in the Archeum with none of her brothers around (hot take: it kinda bothers me that the goggles are given the same treatment as Lula, I totally understand the context/deeper meaning of Omega leaving her childhood behind by leaving Lula, but we're talking about the one relic they have of their fallen and irreplaceable brother being given the same emotional weight as a doll); 9) Phee referring to Tech having a discussion with her about Crosshair while Tech's goggles are in the background (and, noticeably, Crosshair doesn't react at all and just changes the subject back to needing a ship); 10) Crosshair says the squad died with Tech, Wrecker says Tech understood the risks, and that's that.
So, what we got was enough to establish that the characters were sad in the immediate aftermath of Tech's death, that some of them may have stayed sad about it all through season 3, and that the show didn't completely forget that Tech had been a main character at one point.
What we DON'T get is any real reference to what Tech meant to the family as an individual and a brother, any real indication of how the loss of Tech (distinct from the mission to save Omega) influences his family's actions or the story's overall narrative, any actual acknowledgement in the show of Tech's sacrifice having any meaning or the family moving past grief to express any form of gratitude for Tech's presence and influence on their lives, any reference to Tech having a true impact on 4 of his 5 siblings (Omega is the closest we get to witnessing Tech's continued influence on any of his siblings and even seeing that involves squinting/head tilts at times)... in other words, we get a few minutes of sadness, but never any catharsis. We see they miss him, but never does this truly inform the narrative or their decisions in season 3, AND it's left frustratingly vague where the characters are in the grieving process (more on that later).
Besides, no one (that I have come across, at least) was ever asking for a 2 hour episode. At most, Kanan got a 22-minute "eulogy" episode, and most of us aren't even asking for that. I'd have been at least minimally satisfied with a "Mayday moment" for Tech - and that scene lasted a grand total of 20 seconds. What would have been more satisfying would have been the show taking all those superficial name drops and converting at least a few of them into meaningful mentions indicating what Tech means to his brothers and/or how he continues to have an influence on his family and/or how his sacrifice is a motivating factor for them.
Reason #2: "There was no time."
Leaving aside the fact that there was apparently plenty of time and opportunity to make Tech (among others) a red herring...
Let's assume that the showrunners were not only told they only had 1 season left to wrap everything up, but were given highly specific time allotments for each episode to where they weren't allowed to add any scenes (I highly doubt this is what happened, but we're rolling with the "no time" thing here). You know what you do in that scenario when you're talking about something like following up on a main character's death that clearly has left your entire fanbase in an uproar? You MAKE time: you trim down the action scenes, you make the characters walk a little bit faster, you decide whether an extended scene of Echo giving Omega a crossbow that is never going to show up again is actually worth saving (I actually like the scene, by the way; just giving an example), you cut out a few of the extremely vague lines of dialogue Fennec and Asajj indulge in. What you DON'T do is kill off a beloved main character and then rely on convenient time lapses/time skips to just brush over all the fallout apart from a few name drops that do nothing to establish just how important said character was to the other characters in the show.
What's more, they could have EASILY included some true closure with ANY of the Tech name-drops/scenes that were already in the show. Have Hunter look at Tech's goggles before looking beyond them at Lula in 3.02. Have the brothers be present with Omega when she decides to leave Tech's goggles in the Archeum in 3.11. Have any of the brothers say one meaningful line about Tech while they're otherwise silently basking in the sunshine in the end scene on Pabu in 3.15!
Reason #3: "They're soldiers."
Of all the reasons given for why Tech's death was mishandled, I dislike this one the most. What does CF99 being soldiers have to do with the aftermath of Tech's death being reduced to perfunctory allusions? (If you want to get into the argument that soldiers in general have to figure out a way to "move on" and The Clone Wars didn't really spend any time on the clones processing losses after battles, let me just say I don't care for how this topic is covered in The Clone Wars either, and Bad Batch was a golden opportunity for the Star Wars franchise to move past this unfortunate trope.) Fallen soldiers in real life get memorials/funerals too, even if it's months after the battle. Fallen soldiers are honored and remembered by their families and those closest to them. If the show is trying to push the stereotype that soldiers move on from tragic deaths of comrades by being "stoic" and holding it all in and never talking about it, I strongly disagree with the perpetuation of this stereotype; and if the characters as soldiers actually DID grieve Tech in a healthy way, why didn't the show depict it?
Reason #4: "Star Wars writers don't know how to write meaningful scenes/payoff regarding death and characters dealing with death/loss."
The Bad Batch writers proved time and again how brilliant they are at writing emotional storylines with maximum payoff. Case in point: Mayday. Enough said (I'm writing too much on this general topic as it is).
Reason #5: "They got over it."
Maybe I'm reading things wrong, but a rather drastic change in behavior for one character (going from cautious and weighing all risks, to reckless and jumping headfirst into situations without proper backup), and another character including Tech's death as just one reason why he "deserves" to go on a suicide mission, does not read to me as the characters "getting over it." It reads to me as "avoidance behavior" and "continued internal conflict." (Granted, Hunter's more reckless behavior in season 3 likely had as much to do with the Omega situation as it did Tech's death, but the point still stands. And if the point DOESN'T still stand, then I've got even MORE issues with how this plotline was handled, so we'll just keep assuming it does.)
Furthermore, if the characters had truly "gotten over it," there shouldn't have been any hesitation or issue with them discussing and honoring Tech in meaningful ways.
Reason #6: "They DIDN'T get over it."
Right, and we ended the show that way, with no clear resolution to them actually coming to terms with Tech's death and honoring his memory. Great.
Reason #7: "Whatever. It's good Tech stayed dead. Tech's sacrifice meant something."
... Did it? Did it really? I mean, I know I say quite frequently that Tech's sacrifice is what made the happy ending possible for the others (because that's the only thought that got me through a rewatch of season 3). But the show, the narrative itself, certainly doesn't act like it really meant anything. Hunter says in the season 2 finale that they "weren't going to waste Tech's sacrifice" because they were going to retire on Pabu... and that discussion promptly gets forgotten and never brought up again, not even when the squad is trying to stay off the Empire's radar in season 3 after Omega returns. Never is there any discussion that "not wasting Tech's sacrifice" by hiding on Pabu to make sure no one else dies (a very understandable reaction, of course) also goes against the very mission Tech pushed for in the first place: rescuing Crosshair. Never do we hear Omega tell Crosshair, "Tech didn't give up on you, I'm not giving up on you, that's why you ARE going to escape with me." Never is there any talk about "Tech wanted us to live and stay together, so that is what we are going to do." Never is there any acknowledgement at the end of the show that they are all going to live in peace on Pabu because Tech made sure they could live.
The last half of season 4 of Rebels is full of references to Kanan's sacrifice actually meaning something and having direct tangible consequences not only for the family but for Lothal and the Rebellion. For one thing, the show itself literally spells out that the mission to shut down the Imperial factories on Lothal was actually a success because all the fuel reserves were destroyed - Kanan had died, but the mission had succeeded and directly led to the success of the bigger mission to completely free Lothal, and while this is very poor consolation for the loss of Kanan, at least the show openly acknowledged it. Kanan and his influence is also openly credited for Ezra foiling Palpatine's plans with the Jedi Temple and the WBW, Ezra learning to let go and again disrupting Palpatine's plans in the finale, and doing what was needed to ensure Lothal was fully freed.
Imagine how different Rebels would be if Kanan's death had been treated like Tech's: no mention that his role on the mission had any impact whatsoever. No reference to Ezra or any other member of the Ghost crew living up to what Kanan had taught them all - or, at best, there's a perfunctory reference in the epilogue that Ezra decided to keep using the Force the way Kanan had taught him to. No depiction of Ezra or Hera or Sabine or Zeb accepting Kanan's death and letting go of the pain while holding on to the memories. Nothing to show that any of the Ghost crew members act in memory of Kanan or that he is a motivating influence on them. No indication that Kanan's sacrifice drives Ezra to decide to follow up on their initial success with the factories and ultimately completely drive the Empire from Lothal.
Rebels just wouldn't be nearly as fulfilling.
Now, imagine if Tech's death had been treated like Kanan's, and maybe it will become more clear why I have a REALLY hard time agreeing with the argument that the show itself actually depicted Tech's death as "meaning something."

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ General Bad Batch Head Canons ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Hunter
He was secretly always jealous of Cut getting to settle down, have a life, a family, getting away from all the war and bloodshed. Hunter had wanted that but never thought it was possible
Hunter cried, fully cried to himself the night after Crosshair, despite everything that had just happened on Kamino, had still chosen the Empire over his brothers. Despite all he had seen on the battlefield all of the people he had failed to save, nothing hurt more than losing his brother.
When he was young, and ever since then Hunter has only ever let his brothers trim his hair. And he helps them cut theirs too. Hunter is very particular about his hair being a certain length and usually only trims his hair a few inches at best.
Hunter's face tattoo is actually to cover a birthmark. His other brothers (not the batch) used to tease him about it when they were cadets. He eventually got the tattoo to cover it up. These days he regrets it and doesn't understand why he folded to their teasing but he's still happy with it anyway. He doesn't regret the tattoo perse more the reason he felt the need to get it in the first place
Wrecker
Wrecker got Lula from a kid he helped on Ryloth when the Separatists were attempting to invade the planet, he loved it and was very attached to the toy. But he knew how important it was to the kid and he kept it with him for years until he gave it to Omega. He thought it made sense to give it to her, a young kid he had helped gave it to him and now he had passed it on to the next kid who needed it
Wrecker used to place fake bombs or stink bombs under his brother's bunks as pranks. He was always so obvious whenever he was doing this because he would be over-eager and giggle to himself, but he did manage to jump his brothers a few times with the prank
When Wrecker was caught in a bombing accident that messed up his eye and scared his face, he had a hard time adjusting to the way he looked, he didn't recognize part of himself now. And he especially hated when his hair didn't grow back the same way, and because of that he decided to shave it all off and continue to keep his head bald
In addition to that I think that when Wrecker was younger, he had hair a similar length to Hunter, and he liked it, despite the Kaminoans telling him to cut it several times. He does miss his hair at times, but he does like it better without hair hindering him.
Tech
Techs goggles function the same as prescription glasses, he's actually far sighted, this is why his helmet was built to fit around his goggles because he basically cannot see without them
(less of a head canon more of a canon fact with my personal twist) Tech is the youngest of his brothers but he was the quickest to mature and grow, which he likes reminding them about constantly.
(this one is gonna hurt, sorry in advance) When he fell off of the rail car into the ravine below, he didn't instantly but have some very fatal wounds and wasn't far off, Hemlock and his men found him and Hemlock took his goggles from off of his dying body and left. Leaving his men to dispose of him (I don't know what my mind was thinking when I wrote this, I guess I just love angst too much)
Tech had feelings for Phee but he never knew if she was being polite or flirting with him. He never said anything about it to her or his brothers because he figured that there was never going to be a time for him to ever act on those feelings so he never did anything about them.
Echo
(keep in mind I haven't seen any pre Bad Batch content of Echo so some of this stuff might conflict with his canon)
When Echo got blown up and had to have his face reconstructed he was awake for most of the procedure because if he slept or if they induced him it wasn't likely that he would wake up again, especially considering all of the damage done to his body and brain.
(Idk why but this one is super random but just feels right to me) Echo really likes butterflies, he likes the delicacy and beauty that comes from the creature's existence, the first time he saw one he was taken aback and had stopped to admire it. His Commander scolded him for getting left behind at the time
Echo used to pick at his head implants, they made him really uncomfortable and self-conscious, and his brothers used to have to stop him from damaging them and endangering himself. It was a really big issue of his for a while.
Crosshair
Crosshair's tattoo is also a cover-up for a scar, it's the right side of the crosshair that touches his nose. That line is actually a healed over scar underneath. He thought considering his nickname that the tattoo wasn't a bad idea. He was also secretly just copying his big brother Hunter, not that he would ever admit that
This guy can nap anywhere, and I mean anywhere. He doesn't sleep so he naps when he can. In trees, standing up, in the cockpit literally any where.
Adding onto the head canon from before I think Crosshair would have insomnia. But as he would do he never told the Kaminoans because he didn't want them to "fix him"
Crosshair has a nervous/general tick where he chews on his lip, he used to chew it so often that he often had cuts all over them. In place of cutting up his lips he decided to try and alternative - toothpicks. This was a good way to hide it but to still be able to tick when he needed to, plus the toothpicks were easy to access because he could collect them from the mess hall on Kamino
I realised at the end that I hadn't written any for Omega. How dare I? I promise I'll upload some soon
Hope you enjoyed these! Tell me your head canons below!

For Her
@ailesswhumptober Day 10 Self Worth Issues, Pushing Away a Loved One, "You don't need to earn this."
Fandom: The Bad Batch Rating: Teen and Up Audiences Word Count: 1957 Summary: Hunter hasn't been eating since Tech died and Omega was captured, and he doesn't sleep much either. All he does is search. Wrecker tries to do what he can to help, but Hunter keeps pushing him away. WARNINGS: Graphic Depictions of Violence READ ON AO3
Countless planets, star systems, moons, asteroids, you name it, flitted across the blue screen Hunter sat before. This was his map, and already so much had been crossed off. Crossing off a planet felt terrible because it meant he had failed, that he still hadn’t found Omega, but there was a questioning exhilaration with it. One step closer. But had he checked well enough? Maybe he shouldn’t cross it off, maybe they should go back.
Well, going back was all they did now. This was their third search through the galaxy.
Echo hadn’t commed with any news.
The Marauder, once a home, now sat empty, only himself and Wrecker gracing it with their presences.
“Hunter.”
“Maybe we need to check Polis Massa again.”
“Hunter.”
“She could be there, maybe in one of the caverns, maybe deeper than we searched.”
“Hunter.”
Hunter turned to Wrecker, slamming a fist down on the console. “What?”
Wrecker held out food, and a canteen surely filled with water.
Hunter brushed it aside, turning back to the screen.
“I’m not hungry.”
Hunter hardly felt hungrer anymore. At first he had, had felt all the long days as it clawed at his stomach, as it begged. But it didn’t hurt as much as all his losses did, so he was okay with that. Not like he deserved food anyway.
He had only to look around his empty ship, Lula missing her owner, Tech’s… bloodied and broken goggles, Echo’s absence, to see the truth.
Hunter had failed.
He had failed as a leader.
As a brother.
As a father.
So now, finding Omega was all there was.
He knew Tech had wanted to save Crosshair, but all Hunter could see when he thought of him was a red haze. This was his fault. If he hadn’t sent that stupid message…
“Hunter!”
“I’m not hungry,” he growled out. “Now get your gear in order. We’re heading back to Polis Massa.”
A large hand grabbed the back of his seat, and Wrecker shoved the food and water into his lap.
Hunter wanted to toss it aside, but that would ruin something Wrecker needed and deserved. This food and water belonged to him, not Hunter. Never him.
His dry mouth and throat was nothing compared to his failure, nothing compared to how much he missed Omega, and Tech, and Echo, and sometimes, traitorously, Crosshair.
“Eat,” Wrecker ordered.
“How many times do I have to say I’m not hungry?” Hunter argued.
“You don’t sleep, you don’t drink, you don’t eat. Hunter, you’re not going to die on a battlefield. You’re going to die here because you don’t think you deserve this.”
Wrecker, hitting much too close to the mark, made Hunter bite out, “You don’t know what I think I do or don’t deserve.”
Wrecker let out a laugh, but it wasn’t one of his boisterous ones. It was flat, cold, and there was a sting in it that seemed to jab right into Hunter’s chest.
“Really? You don’t think I understand you?” He gestured around their empty ship. “I know our family’s gone, I know we failed in our mission. I… I know I can’t taste food anymore, I can’t… I can’t feel things, Hunter. I can’t. I failed. You told me to get Tech back with us, and-and…”
Hunter sighed, putting a hand on Wrecker’s arm as he started to sob.
“Tech did what he had to do. It was out of our control.”
Wrecker wiped at his tears. “Yeah. But I still eat, Sarge. I try to hydrate. I try to get at least a few hours of sleep here and there, but… you’re not. Why aren’t you trying?”
“I don’t deserve this, Wrecker,” he said, giving him the food, and water canteen. “Now leave me alone.”
“You don’t need to earn this, you know.”
Hunter said nothing.
“Hunter, why are you doing this?”
“Doing what?” he asked, trying to focus on his messy log of where they’d searched, head pounding, breaths sawing in and out of his chest.
“Pushing me away. You’ve barely said a word to me that hasn’t been an order in days. And I can tell you don’t want to have me around now.”
Hunter wasn’t pushing him away. What an absurd idea!
“I’m busy.”
“I want Omega back just as much as you. Please, don’t do this. Don’t shut me out.”
Hunter didn’t respond.
Hunter, stumbling from exhaustion, from his wounds, staggered back into the Marauder. He got to the controls, sitting in the pilot’s seat, ignoring the blood and bruises, and how his throat felt swollen from when that Imperial had attempted to strangle him with his scarf.
Wrecker joined him.
“Get to the gunner’s mount. We’re gonna have some company.”
Vision blurred somewhat, Hunter did what he could to get the ship going. He weaved through the ships already taking to the sky, aiming for space, for a way out of here.
Everything was a bit of a blur, his heart beating hard, blood dripping down onto his right leg. Somehow, he managed to get them out, get them to hyperspace.
Hunter tried to say something, but only started coughing from trying to get the words out, throat scratchy and dry.
Wrecker raced over, and pressed a water canteen into his hand.
Hunter nearly threw it across the ship, and he wanted to yell at him to leave him alone. There were more important things. Like finding Omega. And maybe, if he got her back, he wouldn’t have entirely failed.
But every day, he wondered what was being done to her, even what was being done to Crosshair, the thoughts making him so sick he was glad he didn’t have anything in his stomach.
But a bead of water slid down the canteen, and Hunter’s instincts kicked in, his entire body telling him he needed that, desperately. Maybe it’d even make the headache go away.
Hunter grabbed it, and started downing the water as fast as he could.
“Slowly,” Wrecker advised.
Hunter wanted to roll his eyes, but then he slowed down, taking time to swish it around his mouth, to dab it onto his cracked, bleeding lips.
He didn’t say thank you when he’d had his fill, just shoved the half-empty canteen into Wrecker’s big hands. Wrecker gave it back.
Hunter rose, leaving Wrecker so he could take care of his wounds. As Hunter stood there, shirtless, ribs poking through his skin, muscles weak without nutrition, he was stunned to see how empty their medical kit was. He was using the last of the bacta to heal a knife wound that slashed up his right side, and twisted around to his chest. Bruises made themselves evident, and his throat ached.
Hunter had discarded his scarf on that planet, and for some reason that hurt too.
Sometimes he felt numb, completely lost; sometimes he felt a dangerous, exhilarating drive; and other times he knew he was a failure, and wanted to give up.
Wounds patched, Hunter crawled into his rack, keeping his back turned to the rest of the ship.
Hopefully Wrecker wouldn’t talk to him.
What are you doing? he asked himself as sleep threatened. You’re pushing Wrecker away. And for what?
Stop.
Why are you hurting him?
I’m not—
Of course you are. He’s your brother, and you don’t want him around.
I can’t… I can’t…
Hunter couldn’t even think the word to himself, couldn’t even have it enter the chaotic, swirling thoughts in his brain.
As he drifted off, the word came, and he knew what he didn’t want anymore, what he was too afraid to have: love.
Omega was ripped from Hunter’s arms in the dark night, screaming, calling his name, trying to fight her way back to him. And Hunter was trying to fight his way to her, but he could barely move his limbs, couldn’t move fast enough. She got farther and farther away, the Empire taking her from him.
Omega was in a cell, strapped to a table, shocked mercilessly, again and again and again. And samples were taken from her, skin, any kind of tissue they could get their hands on, leaving her bleeding and screaming.
Hunter, somehow, lay on the floor near her, watching as she sniffled, tears falling and sliding down the side of her face, her blood dripping down from the table onto the floor.
Hunter opened his mouth to say, It’s gonna be okay, Omega, but the words never came out, like he had some type of invisible gag in his mouth, around his throat.
She suffered, and suffered, and Hunter couldn’t move, couldn’t speak.
Finally he was able to say, “I’m sorry.”
Omega didn’t hear him.
Dr. Hemlock came back in, and cut her to pieces while Hunter watched.
She was fading from them, dying, heart beating so slow, so slow that Hunter was counting the beats, hardly able to breathe, wanting there to be another one and another, and—
Nothing.
Silence.
Her body went limp.
Hunter smacked his head against the bulkhead as he awoke, and he groaned, rolling over to get a safe distance away from it.
His heart was racing, and he was covered in sweat. He could scarcely breathe, the panic of his nightmare injected into his very veins.
His eyes searched his surroundings, not sure what he was looking for. Maybe a threat. Maybe… her.
There was just Wrecker snoring in the rack beneath him.
Hunter, ready to huddle into a ball, and sob, dragged his exhausted body out of his rack. And he went back to the console, to his maps.
“Where are you, Omega?” he murmured.
Until he knew, Hunter wasn’t worthy of anything, not even the air he breathed. And especially not his family.
“I’m sorry.”
He hung his head, the loneliness crowding in, and with bleary, stinging eyes, he read his notes on yet another planet they’d already searched. They’d searched all of them it seemed, and they’d keep searching until they had her back.
Without her, the yawning emptiness threatened to consume him. Without her… Hunter was nothing. His love for her hurt too much for him to get close to anyone ever again. So he welcomed the loneliness, he stared at the planet on his chart, and he willed her to be there.
“I’m going to get you back. Whatever it takes.”
He didn’t care if that meant he had a broken, rundown body by then, and he certainly didn’t care if he pushed everyone else away. The Empire had taken too much from him.
Omega’s screams sounded in his head, her face wet with tears.
Hunter touched his own face, his fingers coming away wet.
Maybe with Tech he’d be able to find her.
He looked to his goggles, and a flash of imagery burst through his mind: Tech’s crushed body, blood spurting from it, organs rupturing, goggles breaking, maybe even slicing into his eyes, bones shattering.
Suffering.
Like Omega was surely suffering.
Hunter had to bite his fingers, holding in the urge to scream, eyes squeezed shut. A rough, hoarse sound came out, and then he sobbed, quietly, not wanting to wake Wrecker.
What he didn’t know was that Wrecker was awake, watching Hunter waste away, holding in his own tears at his helplessness.
The Empire had destroyed them.
The next day, Wrecker didn’t even try to get Hunter to rest, or eat. It was hopeless.
Maybe all of this was.
But when they failed to find her again, Hunter leaned into Wrecker, not saying anything.
And then he went to eat some rations.
“For her,” Hunter said.
Wrecker took a seat by him, and gripped his brother’s shoulder. Hunter didn’t push him away as he chewed on his ration bar.
“For her.”

Five Times We Woke
Five times the Batch woke up in the middle of the night. Hurt/comfort, angst, nightmares, PTSD, with some soft Omega & Crosshair at the end. Set after the return to Tantiss. ~2400 words.
---
He’s on Eriadu again.
Some nights it takes him by surprise. He might be wandering the streets of Ord Mantell, Omega high on his shoulders, so light she’s nearly weightless -- and then his arms and legs strain, the railcar impossibly heavy. Or maybe he’s back on Kamino, some mixed-up scene with droids and regs and Kaminoans and Jedi. Tech turns to him, a skinny cadet with huge brown eyes and goggles that swallow his face, his high-pitched voice racing with facts and theories and genius leaps -- and then he’s dangling above the clouds, so close, so impossibly far.
Sometimes it isn’t Eriadu. He stalks ruined starships on Bracca. There’s an order blazing in his head, an ache, a sense of something wrong, but his arms and legs move like they’re still his. This is what he wants, isn’t it? What he’s supposed to do? Good soldiers --
And then it’s not just Tech gone, it’s Omega small and still and quiet, it’s Tech and Hunter and Echo crumpled on the ground, orders followed, orders followed, something he can never take back --
But always he finds himself back in the high mists, the ground below unknowable, the wind buffeting him like he was a rag doll. It’s going to be different this time. If he’s just faster, if he’s just stronger, if he can close the distance between the cars so Tech can make the jump --
Hope pulses in him like a heartbeat. Every time.
Fails him.
Every time.
He tries for Tech. Fails again. And Tech looks up at him, brown eyes disappointed, his voice cold and tight and angry in Wrecker’s ear. “You could have saved me. Plan Ninety-Ni-”
Wrecker wakes up panting, hands outstretched to the empty air. He sits there in his bunk blinking into the dark, until he gets to his feet, pads to where they keep Lula, holds her close until his heart stops racing.
He wouldn’t blame me. He wouldn’t.
Tells it to himself, over and over, Lula soft and safe within his hands.
---
He smells blood and metal, smoke and sparks, scorched pines roaring with flame. Tech. His brother’s name chokes in his mouth. It’s too late, too late, they’ve lost him.
But the others --
He follows the wreckage on his hands and knees. Spots a little hat, blood-stained in the loam. Spots a little figure, curled up on her side. Feels for her pulse, hands scrabbling, shouting her name --
There’s nothing to feel.
He holds her in the smoke until the stormtroopers find them. What does it matter now? He rocks her in his arms, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry --
The conditioning on Tantiss goes on forever. Blinding, shrieking pain, a fog billowing over his memories, the screams of his brothers ringing in his ears. Wrecker doesn’t make it. Crosshair does. Hunter joins him, sees the deadness in the eyes of a hollow man he once called brother, and he doesn’t mind it, doesn’t mind anything, there’s only the mission and the Empire and death once they’ve outlived their use. They march out of the lab and pass vast green-lit tubes.
She floats in one, wires everywhere, brown eyes flickering in recognition. A little hand moves to flail against the glass, but he doesn’t stop -- he just keeps marching --
White halls of Kamino, regs pouring through, a sense of being watched. Her small face beams up at them and he turns away. She’s got nothing to do with them.
They don’t come back to Kamino again.
They never see her again.
He’ll never know what he was missing --
Hunter wakes up, tears in his eyes. He lays in darkness, willing his breath to slow, and reaches out desperately with his senses.
There’s the musky scent of Batcher nearby, mingled with sand and surf. The gentle snores of Wrecker in the next bunk, the slight shadow of Crosshair curled beneath the blankets across the room. And the quiet, steady breaths of Omega down the hall, soft and calm and even. He counts them into the hundreds until he falls back to sleep.
---
Sleep is a dark time. Often he puts it off, reluctant to give it a chance to take hold and bring with it dreams. He’s familiar with this tactic, one he long used in his quarters on Coruscant, his cell on Tantiss. Both were hated places where the quiet could catch up to him, if he let it. The longer he stayed awake the more he could ward off what lay in wait for him.
But they’re on Pabu now, and sleep comes easier, even if the old shadows still linger.
Sometimes it’s faces. Civilians with the Partisans, the Jedi boy on Kaller, the Governor of Desix. Cody with shame and distrust in his eyes, Mayday’s easy grin, his labored breathing. Tech disappointed beneath the waves of Kamino, convinced he’d never change, turning away from him for the last time.
It’s almost easier when it’s sensation, old terrors, old hurts -- the headaches gnawing, the searing agony of burns and ice and poison, the hollows of starvation, cold water closing over his face. Or --
His hand, shaking.
His hand, severed.
His hand, haunting.
The pain clips through the dreams at times, sharp and bristling, dull and aching, an undercurrent thrumming in the background.
One night he stands in the cell on Tantiss, fingers curling through the grate, and he squares his shoulders and tells his sister he deserves to be there.
Omega turns back to him, her eyes cold, and she says, “You’re right.”
He gasps. Something’s on his chest, a vast pressure, bony and clumsy. A tongue drags across his face. Crosshair rolls over and Batcher gives him a happy sniff, then resumes licking his chin. He bats her away and she relaxes contentedly on the ground beside his bunk.
Crosshair blinks up at the dark ceiling. This isn’t Tantiss; it’s their little home on Pabu. They’re safe. He’s safe.
His missing hand aches. He massages the stump with his left hand, letting out a long breath until the burning and crackling feelings fade into a dull pulse.
Crosshair fumbles around for his packet of toothpicks, slips one into his mouth, and chews it until it cracks. He goes through five before he falls back to sleep, and he tries to remember to breathe in, and breathe out.
---
Sometimes it’s Tantiss.
The years in the Vault stretch away. She’s under such heavy guard after her last escape attempt. There is no more hope of another. Not after Hemlock leads her into a wide white room and shows them to her, her dear brothers, Echo, Wrecker, Crosshair, Hunter… not after she weeps on their chests, not after their faces stay still and gray, not after Emerie takes her back and tells her to let them go.
She grows up in the Vault, watching other children come and vanish, fading away after the experiments and tests, and when she’s old enough and beaten down enough she makes the rounds with Emerie, scientist and subject both. She reports directly to Hemlock, now with silver in his hair, and he tells her with a foul smile how valuable she is.
Sometimes it’s Kamino. The little boys of batch 99 are taken away, and she catches glimpses of them in the halls, one sturdy and broad, one wide-eyed in goggles, one silver-haired, one the others orbit around. She tries to catch them in the halls between their missions, but she’s so small, so slow, so easy to overlook. An order goes out and she feels the galaxy shift, something telling her it’s her last chance --
And she doesn’t find them.
Overhears one day that they went AWOL.
She works with Nala Se in the labs, until Hemlock comes to Kamino, until he takes them both and the tests begin again.
Sometimes it’s just the little back room of Cid’s bar. It’s warm and familiar, she’s napped here dozens of times, it’s cozy. So why do things feel off? She rubs her eyes, realizing she’s sore but she’s all right. Relief fills her. If she’s all right, the others must be, too.
Hunter looks at her, and he’s trying not to cry.
The others must be, too.
Wrecker is crying.
No, no, no, no --
Some nights, when she startles awake with tears on her cheeks, she gets up and goes for Lula. Lula’s usually there in her spot, but when she isn’t, Omega finds her nestled safely in Wrecker’s arms. That’s when she climbs up into the bunk beside him, resting her head on his shoulder as he sleeps.
Some nights she whistles low under her breath for Batcher. She sits beside her on the floor, stroking her short hair, breathing in and out, in and out. Batcher makes an excellent pillow, if a giant, snoring one.
Some nights she creeps over to Crosshair’s bunk, hauling her blanket and pillow with her. She finds a comfortable spot on the floor and listens to him breathe. Sometimes he shifts, his arm spilling over the side of the bunk to dangle, and she holds his hand or his stump until she gets sleepy.
Sometimes she wakes up and Hunter’s already at the door to her room. “Hey, kid,” he murmurs. “Bad dreams?”
“Yeah. …Tell me it’s all right, Hunter?”
“It’s all right, Omega. We’re all right.” And he comes and sits with her, letting her rest her head in his lap, and he strokes her hair until she falls asleep.
---
She’s sleeping well tonight, dreamless comfortable sleep after a long day on the beach with Lyana and Eva. But she wakes up in the dark anyway, confused for a moment until she blinks and catches the outline of Crosshair’s shadow in her doorway.
“Crosshair?” she whispers. “Is everything okay?”
“There’s something you might like to see,” he says softly. “Come on. The others are already up.”
“What is it?”
There’s a hint of warmth in his voice. “It’s a surprise.”
She stumbles out of bed, yawning, and follows him in her bare feet out to the patio. Hunter and Wrecker are on the ground, blankets stretched out beneath them, their hands under their heads as they gaze up at the sky.
“What are you looking at?” Omega asks curiously as she and Crosshair join them on the ground.
“Look up,” Hunter says, smiling. She follows his instructions.
“Oh --”
The stars are moving. Not the dance of shifting into hyperspace, symmetric, linear streams of blue and white: but something different, stars streaking across the dark in arcing rays. Some are silvery-blue, others seem reddish or gold, but all are random. Here the darkness seems to hold its breath for a moment, waiting for the next burst of light; there they cascade in a shower of several stars in a heartbeat. Omega watches them all, mesmerized.
“Meteor shower,” Wrecker murmurs. “Pretty neat, huh?”
“They’re beautiful,” Omega whispers, a huge grin stealing over her face.
They watch the stars into the early morning, until the black of night begins to shift into a blush of violet, until the meteors and their dances begin to fade. Omega yawns, then sits up, stretching her stiff arms and neck.
Wrecker and Hunter have fallen asleep. She glances at Crosshair, still laying on his back with his right arm resting on his chest, looking up at the stars. He catches her looking at him.
“Enjoy the show?”
“Yes,” she says softly. “I’ve never seen that before. It was so lovely. Thank you for getting me up.” She crosses her legs, resting her hands in her lap while she looks at him. “Did you know it was coming?”
Crosshair shakes his head. “No. Went outside to get some fresh air, and saw it. Figured you’d all like to see.”
She nods, feeling wistful. “Tech would have liked it, too, don’t you think?”
Crosshair chuckled. “Tech probably would have known it was coming weeks in advance, instead of finding it accidentally.”
The idea warms her, and she loses herself in a moment picturing Tech insisting they all watch, pointing up at the sky, telling them the name of the meteor shower, what system it had originated from, when it might happen again. She misses him, but not in a jagged, crying way right now: it’s the softer kind of missing, gentler, almost a good kind of missing. She lets it wash over her.
“You all right?”
“Just thinking about him,” Omega says. She rests her chin in her hands, regarding Crosshair. The circles under his eyes are darker than she’d like. Maybe it’s just because they’ve been up half the night, but she wonders. Why was he out here in the first place to see the stars? “Are you sleeping all right, Crosshair?”
“...hhm.” He stops chewing the toothpick in his mouth, and his eyes darken. “Not always,” he admits.
Omega lays back down, edging closer to him. He shifts, allowing her to wiggle in and rest her head on his shoulder, dropping his arm over her to bring her closer. He’s different to snuggle than Wrecker -- so strong and broad and comfortable -- or Hunter -- lean but sturdy and safe. Crosshair is all sharp angles, sometimes awkward to hug or sidle up against. Yet she only loves him all the more for it, the work it takes to find a comfortable spot for both of them, the change she’s seen in him where it gets easier for him to hug her, all the time.
“I don’t always sleep well either,” she says. “There’s there’s a lot to have bad dreams about. For all of us.”
He nods slightly, leaning into her, her hair brushing his cheek.
“If you ever want someone to sit with, if it’s a bad night, you can always get me,” Omega whispers.
“You shouldn’t have to do that.” He lets out a long, slow breath. “But if you can’t sleep… wake me up. Any time.”
“Only if you wake me up,” she says stubbornly. “Or Hunter, or Wrecker, or Batcher. You don’t have to be alone, not anymore.”
She glances at him. His eyes are closed, toothpick trembling between his teeth, his mouth tucked. He opens his eyes again, giving her a glare, but his face softens before he gets a single word out. “Fine. Who taught you to negotiate so well?”
She giggles. “All of you.”
He sighs. “Of course.” He squeezes her shoulder, and she rests against him, content.
The last of the stars twinkle above them, ghosts of meteors still trailing little paths through the fading night sky. The next night, she falls asleep thinking of stars shooting through the blue-black dark, her brothers close beside her, safe and sound; and they all sleep long, long, into the next day.

Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 5 (scattered) thoughts and first impressions (ramblings)
Major spoilers under the cut
This one is also very long because mannnnnnn did I love this episode and omg do I have big feelings about it
Also yes I do love each member of tbb but in case it’s not obvious I’m a crosshair girlie. Have been since I first heard his voice in season 7 of tcw so this is gonna be very crosshair centric (because he finally has screen time and more than like 2 speaking lines this season!!)
Lula! 🥰🥰
Is Omega in a supply closet? Whatever better than her barren room at the lab
Ah nope her old “room” the gun turret 🥰🥰
A glimpse of mornings on board the marauder: peaceful boys and caf 🥹 probably only peaceful again now that omega is home
This is Omega’s best look omg the the crocheted vest??? I wanna cosplay her now or actually just wear this outfit fr
At first I was so annoyed they kept crosshair in this ugly ass outfit but I honestly think it’s because even though it’s warm on Pabu he’s always cold because he’s so skinny now (well he always was lean but this is a testament to how much weight he lost as a prisoner) They keep trying to feed him fruit and my man keeps using it as target practice 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I honestly love when they show scenes through like either a scope or helmet visor. Like I really love seeing what they’re seeing. In this case AZI (so happy they took him from Cids bar- sorry “parlor”….it was a dive bar)
He’s so mad at his hand 😭 my poor baby he really should let AZI look at it. What do we think it is? Nerve damage? I imagine it feels tingly like when your foot falls asleep.
I love that Batcher loves him!! Animals know good people. He’s a good man Savannah! 😭😭😭 and he likes Batcher too and anyone that’s kind to animals is ok by me.
Ugh Crosshair teaching Omega about being a sniper 🥰🥰😭🥰😭🥰 one day she’s just gonna pop out with a sick trick shot lmao
Shouldn’t have given him his rifle??? Sir it’s an extension of him, it’s like you gave him back one of his body parts
“Omega trusts him and that’s good enough for me” Wrecker!!! My sweet boy!! Big man and even bigger heart. He’s now kinda caught in the middle he wants to be cool with Crosshair again but doesn’t want to betray Hunter they’ve been through a lot just the 2 of them these past several months. Crosshair and Hunter are like parents in the middle of a divorce 😭
53%???? Fuckkkkkkk way worse than we thought
Echo!!!!! Yay mom came home!
“No hug for me” screaming crying throwing up! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 💔💔💔💔he’s disguising it as sarcasm but he wants it, he wants a hug! SOMEBODY HUG HIM DAMMIT! I volunteer!!! Please
Omega between her 2 dads 🥰 (Though is Crosshair more wine aunt vibes sometimes?) And batcher by Crosshair’s feet of course
Yummmmm I bet Pabu has banging sushi 🍣 Love Wrecker being an unbothered king enjoying his sush🥰
😭😭😭😭😭 Crosshair’s face when Echo mentioned Tech. He knows. He knows he fell or perished (shh no 🤡) trying to save him. They’re twins and he lost his other half and I’m devastated!! 😭
Haaaaa welcome to parenting a teenager Hunter!!!
Are Hunter’s eyes green all of a sudden?
Crosshair being the voice of reason?? I love seeing this side of him. I HC that since he is silent and highly observant he was a voice reason often for the batch. (Can we please get a series of TBB during the clone wars?? Or like when they were cadets or something. We only see them in 4 episodes in tcw and they were just an insane suicide squad who hated regs and didn’t follow orders or have anyone in charge of them like I wanna see their adventures and their dynamic and how they are when they have downtime! Please lucasfilmmmmmm 🙇♀️🧎🏼♀️)
“I’m older than you are, little brother” 😂😂😂 and she got crosshair to chuckle lol ugh I love their dynamic so much. They are really feeding us rn (please don’t take it away)
Omg he’s so brave bringing them back there! To that freaking ice planet where nothing but trauma happened for Crosshair. I know he probably wished he would never have to go back there again but he knows this will help so he goes anyway
The old armor!!!! Helllllll frickinnnn yeaaaaaa (he’s so hot in armor omg I have a headache)
“Take a guesssssss” 🥵
“He started it” 😂😂 major youngest sibling energy
Mayday’s helmet! 💔💔💔💔 somebody sedate me!! 😭
Why can’t Hunter sense the Wyrm?
TOOTHPICK!!! Wrecker defo kept his toothpicks in the armor case 🥰
Frickin ice vulture always an omen. (Animals seem to really like Crosshair though even the scary ones)
“I know you” 😭 I know Hunter meant it in a “I know you’re sneaky and closed off and I’m expecting the worst from you right now ” but it just hit me harder than that. “I know you”- you’re my brother, the youngest I’ve known you since the day you were born. “I know you- I know there’s more to your silence I know your still waters run way deeper than you let on.” “I’m your brother- I know you talk to me I know you”❤️🩹
Oh shitttttt thems are fightin words yes let it out everyone
“I’ll do it! 😁” Wreckerrrr I love you
Hunter’s fast af boi!
Batcher is actually ripped af 💪
Ok petition that Cross doesn’t yell anymore it doesn’t suit him at all lmaoooo
Poor Wrecker yes it’s always ALWAYS a huge monster 😭
“Fantastic” 😂😂😂
Omg this is a roller coaster of emotions! Crosshair being soft with Batcher, the nodding! Ugh nothing like fending off a giant ice wyrm to bring bros back together
He’s so pretty shut up I know his head is shaped like a lightbulb
AAHH THERES THE HUG 🥰
progress 😌
“I thought I was being a good soldier 😔” * *pterodactyl screeching *
Welp Im deceased, fed and nurtured but dead at the same time.
Thank you thank you thank you for these past few episodes. Us Crosshair girlies were really in pain seasons 1 and 2
