LUENSE. A term that encompasses themes of ambiguity, vastness, liminality and a sense of something being off. This term includes several prompts that help define the theme of Luense, those being:

Feeling a sense of nostalgia as you stare into the vastness of the sea, space or even a dark hallway.

Seeing someone you've known for years, their face and voice being the same yet you get the feeling it's not them.

Looking over the edge of a pier and dreading what may lurk in the waters but never knowing if something is actually there.

Any feeling that borders on the edge of belonging and what is out of place.

Luense may be used as a gender on its own or used as a add-on to any other gender in description or as an entirely new term. Examples of this being Luengirl and Luenboy.
