I saw you compared Gambit to a cat once. Have you seen the pages of him and his kitties? He has a orange, white and black one I think their names are Figaro, Oliver, and Lucifer

Yesss, I have seen him with his kitties. I have been bouncing around with comics, so I’ve read the issue where Mystique gives him the kitties + their appearances in All New X-Factor. But most importantly, I’ve read all of Marvel Meow. Objectively one of the most important comic book series ever. You must read Marvel Meow or else you aren’t a real comic book fan.

I learned that they’re named after Disney cats. I only recognize Lucifer, since he’s from one of my favorite Disney movies ever, Cinderella. When trying to find Gamboi cat appearances, I noticed some people find it weird that the pelt colors of the kitties don’t match their Disney counterparts. Someone suggested an in-universe solution of Gambit being some sort of colorblind. While I don’t think there needs to be an explanation for Gamboi’s cats to be named what they are, I find that idea very cute.

Andddd another random Marvel fact part 2: Gambit has three cats

So yeah Sabretooth wanting a snack so he got three cats to which Mystique found and saved from Sabretooth, so to save the cats from being eaten she gave the cats to Gambit for some reason even though she really hates him(which is another fun fact for another day but Gambit is a VICTIM is all i’m gonna say) so he got three cats and named them Oilver,Figaro, and Lucifer. Another fun little fact is that Gambit named his cats all after Disney characters Oilver named after the protagonist from Oilver & Company, Figaro being named after Geppetto own cat in the movie Pinocchio, then Lucifer named after Lady Tremaine own cat Lucifer in the movie cinderella so Gambit is a Disney adult or at least a big fan of Disney to name his cats after them and yes all these cats are still alive in earth 616.

The morning sun starts to rise marking the start of a new day today. The chirping sounds of birds from outside added with Figaro licking his toes slowly woke Remy up from his slumber.

His eyes slowly greeted by the hint of sunlight outside of the blind in their room. Next to him there is his wife, still very asleep and also looking very peaceful while she's at it.

“Mornin’, chère,” he whispers slowly, not to wake her up. He moves to kiss the top of her head a few times.

Remy scooped Figaro from resting on his legs to give him a few good morning kisses. The rest of the boys are still asleep in their respectable place.

The sound of his stomach was what made him finally slowly climb out of their bed. Giving Rogue more head kisses before putting down Figaro next to her who is still very much asleep.

“Keep y'mama company while I go n’ make us some breakfast, k boys?” He gives both of them more kisses before he actually stands up. He looks at them for a while, just admiring how cute and domestic it feels seeing this view.

As if on cue, the rest of the boys, Oliver and Lucifer, awake from their sleep just to join their brother and their mama on the bed.

“Ya can't be left out, can't you?” He chuckles seeing how the two cats climb up on their bed. Now his bed is filled with three cats and his wife, snuggling.

Quietly, he walked out of their room, leaving Rogue to sleep with the boys. Still in his PJs, he walked straight to the kitchen, thinking of making some breakfast for once his wife woke up.

He hummed along as he starts to cook for breakfast in the kitchen. He's not making something very complicated, just a simple waffle and chicken bites.

Inside their room, Rogue slowly stirred awake from her sleep. She opened her eyes slowly just to see a white furred cat snuggled up close to her. She tried to look for her husband around the room but she couldn't find him, so she assumed he would be outside.

“Mornin’, baby, seems ya papa woke up early,” She greets the cats and gives them a few smooch for each of them before slipping out of her bed slowly, trying to find her husband.

As she walked out of their room and walked down the hall to the kitchen, she could hear his humming, getting louder as she got closer to the kitchen.

There in the kitchen, Remy LeBeau is currently cooking while still wearing his red pyjamas. She leaned on the wall as she watched her husband before she walked closer. Her arms wrapped around his torso as she let her head just rest on his shoulder.

“Mornin’, mon coeur, sleep fine last night?” He turned his body to face her, making her rest her head on chest in his embrace.

“Mhm, ah sleep amazin’ last night. You woke up early, sugar,” Her voice sounds a bit muffled as she speaks with her face planted on his chest. She still feels a bit sleepy as she just woke up.

Remy's fingers softly play with her hair, giving a few soft kisses on top of her head, “Thought I'll make som’ breakfast fo’ ma chèrie,” he wrapped his arms around her shoulder, bringing her closer to him, “Made us som’ chicken ‘n waffles for breakfast.”

Rogue lifts up her head to look at his face, “Chicken ‘n waffles? Sugar, you sure do know how to treat a gal on weekend, ain't ya?”

Their lips meet for a moment, it's nothing rushed, just a slow and gentle shared in the middle of the kitchen, as they got hit by the morning light.

After a brief moment, Remy pulls back for air, “How ‘bout you sit there while i serve our breakfast, chère?” Remy suggested as his hand still softly caressed her cheek.

“Sounds like heaven,” she then goes to sit on the dining table as she waits for him to serve their breakfast and spend the rest of their day just being lazy and cuddling all day.

Hello, thank you very much for the check-in. I also hope your day has been good, and that you’re taking care of yourself. Personally, I’ve been very busy preparing for my upcoming trip, but I’ve been getting my doodles down here and there. It makes me so happy to know that people like my goobers. It helps me try and get over my mental hurdles of finally doing a comic. Here’s a little teaser of what I want to do;

I have been a big fan of comics as a medium the moment I learned how to read. Specifically, comic strips like Calvin and Hobbes (I think my goobers really reflect that Watterson inspires me every time I pick up a pencil… I couldn’t hide it if I tried). I would always draw comics as a kid, and in retrospect, the transition into superhero comics was practically a given. So, let’s hope I finally get something out there. No promises, though. It’s a 50/50.

Knights within the Kingdom of Ventra

Knights in the world of the Wandering Witchbreed aren't like real life knights found in Medieval Europe, instead they're more akin to Japanese Samurai. Though even that comparison doesn't entirely do them justice. They are warriors first and foremost, bound to the code of chivalry. Knights pledge themselves to the service of a particular noble, protecting their lands and people. Many knights begin their journey to knighthood from a young age, being trained under a noble house as a page/squire to a knight. While the majority of knights are the children of nobility who were pages and squires as children, it is possible for those of lower birth to become knights if they are 'knighted'. This is often done to soldiers who prove themselves to be worthy of the title on the battlefield. A knighting can only be done by a noble lord/lady, or another knight.

The Knights of Xavier

The knights of Xavier were a group of knights pledged to serve Professor Charles Xavier, a viscount who, unbeknown to the other members of the kingdom's nobility, was in fact a witchbreed. After inheriting his father's title, Xavier used his family's wealth to turn the Xavier Manor House into something of a safe place for Witchbreeds, taking them in under the guise of training them to be his knights. The Manor House itself once remained hidden through the use of Xavier's own telekinetic ability, making it difficult for those seeking to harm its inhabitants to locate it. During the decades that the group was active, those working for Xavier would often go out into the wider realm, using their witchbreed abilities to help those in need.

TEMPERAMENT: Remy LeBeau has been a charmer since the day he could speak. Always having had a way with words, it was like he was born to be a thief. Though he may come off as a self-centered flirt, his true personality is often misunderstood. Confidence and impulsivity mingle within him - whether it be in the heat of a fight or in a flirtatious encounter. Remy is deceitful when he has something that he wants, especially when it comes to matters of the Heart. He does find it difficult to get close to people on a more personal or even romantic level due to the betrayals and traumas regarding his past. Perhaps one day.

His control over this has increased to the point he can shatter ice he was encased in without blowing up.  Disruption: Gambit can take his explosive acceleration to temporarily scramble the sensory awareness of a person, knocking them out cold. Fresh out of his Otherworld death, Remy’s glad to be alive once more and with his mind intact. With Rogue off the X-Men, the two have moved onto Krakoa and are taking it a day at a time. It’s nice to have a team to keep him busy and a wife by his side. Remy’s not sure if he’s the time who’s ever going to be completely content, but he’s close. You don’t need a lot to be happy, sometimes. Remy’s got his cats, Rogue, something to keep him occupied and the chance to be his Cajun self. That’s all he needs for now.

✗ ANNA-MARIE LEBEAU (616) took a long time to come around, but Remy won her over in the end. She’s been his cherie for years now; the two were always hot and cold torn apart by a number of factors including Rogue’s dangerous mutation. After the honeymoon period, there was a period when she joined the X-Men and didn’t seem to have time for Remy. It caused a little marital strife, but they’ve worked it out. He fought too hard for Rogue to let her go.

✗ LAURA KINNEY (616) came under Gambit’s wing a few years back after he was sent to look after her. That’s really the kicker, though: Laura doesn’t need anyone to look after her. Instead, the two are friends in a sibling like fashion. Remy’s always willing to cheer for her or watch her six. She’s a badass and doesn’t need anyone to tell her otherwise.

✗ THE KNIGHTS OF X → Going to Otherworld was a nice change of pace for a man who was beginning to feel like a stay at home husband. It also got him killed, but he did get resurrected, so it’s water under the bridge. Even though Rogue is around more now, Remy’s still working with the Knights. He needs something to keep him busy and the team has some good energy.
