AppleHuskerDust Week (Day 3: Cosplay)

Angel was finishing his makeup when he heard the lip-smacking on the beat to the sound of a familiar theme song.

“Life is like a hurricane~” Lucifer sang gleefully as he danced around Angel, “here in~ Duckberg~!”

“Luci sweetie, I still need to finish my makeup!” Angel said as he was putting in the eyelash extensions.

Angel was cosplaying as Daisy Duck.

Lucifer was cosplaying as Donald Duck.

And Husk…

“Hey is this really necessary?” The chimera cat asked as he walked in, holding a baby wearing a red shirt and a matching red cap. “I mean, I know I agreed to do this, but now I look kinda silly.”

“Aww Husk you look awesome! Like a million bucks!” Lucifer said, gushing at Husk’s costume.

Husk was dressed as Scrooge McDuck, only wearing a blue jacket and white pants.

“And look at our wittle Noir dressed like Dewey!” Angel gushed.

“That’s Huey!” Lucifer corrected. Ever since they got cable and streaming services, Lucifer has become obsessed with DuckTales and he was more knowledgeable about that than anything else at the moment. “Huey is the triplet that wears red! Dewey is the one who wears blue! And Louie is the one that wears green!”

Angel only smiled, “Of course sweetheart, now let’s make sure our little rugrats are dolled up before the convention!”

When Lucifer began dating Angel and Husk, they were already an established couple and had triplets. Noir, the black-spider baby, was the oldest of the triplets.

Angel walked over and saw the two babies dressed. Vegas, the white-furred kitten of the triplets, was wearing a blue shirt and matching cap, meaning he was cosplaying as“Dewey.”

Husk walked over to the other crib and peered down at the baby girl inside. Star was a black-furred kitten with pink wings similar to Husk, which made sense because he was her Dad. “How’s my little shooting Star today?” He asked as he picked up the baby girl wearing a green shirt and matching hat, meaning she was cosplaying as “Louie.”

Lucifer strode over and said, “I can take her! I think Noir wants his Daddy,” he said as they looked over and saw the spider baby reaching four of his six arms to Husk.

Husk handed Star to Lucifer and walked over, “here. I can take him,” he said.

Angel passed Noir to Husk, and the man cradled his son. “What’s wrong little man?”

The baby merely began waving his arms in excitement.

Angel cradled Vegas in his arm, “everyone ready?”

“I’m good!” Lucifer beamed.

“Yeah I’m good. Let’s get going,” Husk said.

Angel made sure to grab the diaper bags and soon they were off to Earth-Con 2024: The Convention where demons who still loved pop-culture things on Earth could meet up and socialize.

🦆 Absolutely LOVES Blue's Clues! His favorite character is Joe because they both like ducks. He even watches it with Angel whenever he's little, too. They even play Blue's Clues together and pretend to look for pawprints that are on the clues (👐 Blue's Clues 👐).

🍎 Lucifer even made his own Boris stuffie when he was big so he can be like Joe ^^

🎪 He also loves these shows: Sarah and Duck, Peep and the Big Wide World, Wonder Pets, Mighty Ducks, The Backyardigans, Jellystone!, DuckTales (both classic and reboot), Mister Roger's Neighborhood, Sesame Street (Ernie is his favorite character because they both love rubber duckies), Sitting Ducks, and Pecola.

🦆 He loves bubbles! He can make them into animals like balloon animals.

🍎 He has his own mini circus tent that he goes into whenever he's feeling big feelings (idea heavily inspired by @shhtickerbook).

🎪 Lucifer also has a Blue's Clues tent. He and Angel play in it together when they're both tiny.

🦆 Lucifer can sometimes be forgetful and accidentally lose track of things, like books and toys. He doesn't even fully remember where he had them last, but he finds them with encouragement and retracing his steps.

🍎 Lucifier doesn't really know his regressed age range. All he knows is that he regresses to kidspace.

God a LOT actually. I'll only name a few though so this post doesn't become super long.

@leftrib/@perditicn - Always gonna recommend this person, this is my buddy Hound, and while they're a slow writer their stuff is ALWAYS worth waiting for. They also like to plot and discuss things extensively which is a VERY big bonus for people who like to talk things out on how muses would respond to things / each other and see where things can lead, especially when it comes to plotting, etc etc. They put a lot of thought and love into their characters and writing and it certainly shows.

@shadowzgather - Another instant recommend. I've been writing w/ Tera since joining the ducktales / dwd fandom. Their main two is Pentious and Valentino but they've also recently added a few ocs, Abel, and Alastor. They're a good writer with interesting takes on their characters. 10/10 would recommend. { They also just reminded me that they recently added Stolas, mb }

@xluciifer - goofy fella, does a REALLY good job with Lucifer and puts so much thought into him. They're always a joy to read with their threads, don't let the fact they're mobile bound turn you away ! They put a lot of effort into their blog and the character and it certainly shows.

@demondads - SAM. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND SAM. They have another blog too i'm pretty sure its @thestupidmeanone which is Church w/ a HH AU on it. Sam's a JOY to talk to and a joy to watch on the dash and write with. 

@plxgue4two - I haven't seen MUCH thread wise but what I have seen i've enjoyed a LOT. Bug has SO much passion for this OC and she's SO well written and thought out. Just { chefs kiss }

@hellshoard - I've been following them for awhile but I gotta say I'm glad I FINALLY got to start writing with them and I would 100% recommend them as well. The mun's a sweetheart { and chaotic } and the muses are great. 

@fearedelight - Sal is another one I recently followed but they also have some REALLY neat ocs + i love their takes on their canons, especially Mammon. { sorry Sal i've been snooping in your HC's } They're also super nice and easy to talk to.

@vietat0 - I see a lot of eve's around but I think this is probably the first one I've gotten to write with and they've def got an interesting take on her imo. Worth checking out + mun is really nice.

@arachnaemboss - and last but not least, this Zestial, I haven't gotten to write with them but I very much do enjoy the portrayal. I'd recommend checking them out if you haven't yet.

@pompedia - I lied I have one more, pom I have followed for a long time and while she only has charlie and emily she writes them SO well. 10/10 give love

Eve and Lilith from the Lucifer Tv series were the only two live action Moms that I can think of to put into this...

Lilith wasn't the best Mom to Maze, and Eve had possibly played favorites when it came to Abel.

wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happen with the Gran-Gran Eve & Gran-Gran Lilith in real life...

Cain wouldn't of went past the very dangerous breaking point, if both Eve and Adam did a better job parenting him and giving him more emotional support and healing...

both Cain and Abel were victims and they both were in the wrong.

also I think what happen to Bradford from Ducktales 2017 series, was messed up...I mean how is it okay that no one tried to understand how much he was hurting because of that witch of a grandmother of his who was the cause of his trauma, it doesn't help that Scrooge couldn't try to understand why he became that way, because of that stupid selfish insensitive woman that he looked up to...

Moon Butterfly doing that messed up stuff by misusing the magic, did play a part of Star starting to blame the magic for her problems...

but the magic was NEVER the problem, it was those who misused it that were the problem because they misuse it and cause harm to those around them with that magic, even those who didn't deserve to be harmed by that misused magic...the last episodes was still good, but I just don't agree with the scapegoating of the magic when it was Moon and some of the Butterfly Family that had misused it in the first place...

I'm going to go to sleep now, I will check this poll later either around later today or tomorrow to see who won...

Jack and the reader sit down and enjoy a cozy day in watching a Disney movie 🍿

After a long few weeks on a strenuous hunt, Y/N decided it was time to put her feet up and have a day full of self care. It was quite the rainy day and the boys were out running errands which usually took until the evening time. Jack decided to stay home this time around , he really enjoyed being around Y/N she was so merry and bright and always knew how to make him smile and didn’t treat him like he was different like most people he knew . Y/N pressed the button on the remote for Disney+ and awaited the screen and titles to load. Jack decided to announce his arrival with a classic “Hello!” and a bright smile of his own. He was holding snacks in his hands , nougat bars his favourite and popcorn for them both. Y/N let out a giggle at his joyfulness. “Hiya Jack! Got some snacks have you?” Y/N asked with a raised eyebrow and a grin, she was overjoyed he had stayed behind in the bunker with her , she loved his company just as much as he loved hers. Jack was a breath of fresh air after all the misery and exhaustion the hunt had caused. “I have! I remembered you said you would introduce me to … ‘Disney…?’ You said it would be something I would enjoy!” Jack responded and made his way over to sit next to Y/N as she invited him over with a pat of her hand against the couch. “I did! I would love that! You’ll really enjoy this Jack!” Y/N smiled warmly at the nephilim. Y/N had such a soft spot for him. Jack was pure and gentle a beautiful soul, the poor angel didn’t ever get to experience a normal childhood and was forced to grow up way too fast. Between the two of them they decided on Tangled, a classic! Jack thoroughly enjoyed it humming along to the songs as he ate his infamous nougat bars. He resonated with Rapunzels story, he thought of his evil captor as Lucifer, bad. Y/N smiled up at Jack and scooted closer to him on the couch as the rain pelted against the windows of the bunker, they had acquired a blanket and Y/N rested her head on Jacks shoulder. Jack remembered what Dean had told him about cuddling when he asked the elder Winchester for help about his feelings for Y/N. So he placed his arm around her shoulder and held her close gently with such care. Jack thought of himself as a monster sometimes destined to be bad like Lucifer but in this moment he knew those thoughts were untrue . Those feelings melted away as he held Y/N, her trust and faith in him made him feel strong and he would protect her forever. As Jack examined her features up close he realised she had quite the gash across her lip from the hunt. He carefully placed a hand on her cheek looking into her soft eyes as his turned a sunshine yellow his hands glowing. Then , like in the movie where Rapunzel healed Flynn, he began to sing her song. “Flower gleam and glow , let your powers shine , make the clock reverse and bring back what once was mine , heal what has been hurt, change the fates design, save what has been lost, being back what once was mine , what once was mine” Jack sung so beautifully with such grace that Y/N begun to shed tears and leaned into his touch , her wounds healing completely like they were never there . “That was beautiful Jack thank you” Y/N whispered and pulled him into a tight hug running her fingers through his hair and he gladly returned the gesture. The day had flew by and it was already evening so there stood Sam, Dean and Cas in the doorway watching the scene unfold before them. “That’s my boy!” Dean whispered with a shit eating grin on his face earning him a slap in the back of the head from Sam. Cas watched with a bright smile on his own face , he was so proud of his son.

Starting with @leftrib/@perditicn ;; My bestie, I would literally die for them you do NOT understand. I cannot stress enough how much this mf has been an impact on me and I cannot put into words how much I appreciate them. Before I properly got to talking to them, I was really discouraged about the idea of talking about plots and just discussing things in general out of fear of being shot down. However this little shit constantly encouraged me to share thoughts no matter how stupid or annoying I thought they were. They're a general joy to talk to, and god knows I shove a million plots at them. They may be a slow writer too but their stuff is always worth reading if you haven't gotten to write with them yet. 

@shadowzgather/@bxrningembers ;; Another REALLY close friend of mine, and I swear we've only come closer over time. I met them back when I joined the ducktales/dwd fandom and I haven't regretted it for a second. Just like Hound, they've been a very big encouragement on getting me to share my thoughts and ideas even with how silly they are sometimes. That's why my Main verse for Nimue is the way it is actually lmao. 10/10, genuinely a joy to talk to as well and would 100% recommend them.

Both of them are absolute GIFTS and I've only known them for a little bit. Like maybe two or three weeks ?? but I would literally kill for them so y'know.
