The applicable authorities may note that the 28 year old female / she/her is resilient, patient, and analytical, but has also been known to be abrasive, reserved, and mistrustful. Similarities in appearance can be seen with Zuri Adele. According to previous reports, they’re often associated with wide-brimmed hats and sunworn boots, chapped hands, fiddle polish, and resin.

BIO

Describe their childhood and their experiences growing up.

As the middle child of three, Coro was neither spoiled nor ignored. Their ranch was one of seven in a smaller community out on the end of the range, dedicated to looking after the large herd of cattle whose meat went straight to the Capital. Coro liked her work on the ranch where she taught the dogs the Capital allowed her District to work the cattle. Her older brother Wyatt taught her how to play the fiddle and how to whistle, and her mother taught her to mend and sew. Driving cattle taught Coro how to survive on the open plains, something that would keep her alive during the Games.

If your character was already alive during the Dark Days, how did they experience that time? Did they participate in the fighting? Which side did they fight on?

While none of the Ryder family fought in the Dark Days, they did supply cattle and supplies to the rebels. Coro knew that her brother wished they had fought, but that their parents hadn’t let him. Sometimes she thought Wyatt never quite forgave them for that.

What is their view on the Hunger Games and how do they deal with the threat of being reaped?

She never liked the Games, there was nothing to enjoy about having to watch kids murder each other. They gave her nightmares even before she had to play them herself. But somehow she never thought it would really happen to her. She worried for her brothers and for the people around her, all her friends and her cousins. When her name got drawn it felt like the ground pitted out beneath her.

What do they do to make a living? Is it difficult? Easy? Do they have to scramble to make ends meet, or do they manage comfortably? 

Victors don’t need jobs, but Coro wished she could’ve just gone back to working the ranch. All she’d wanted to do her whole life was stay with the herd and the pack of dogs she’d spent so long training. Her family didn’t have much, but they were comfortable enough. They made do. Now Coro had all this money and none of her family wanted any of it.

If they are a Victor, what was their Arena? How did they experience their time in the Games? How did it affect them afterwards?

Coro’s Arena was a desert: flat, cracked land for miles. The Cornucopia had gathered them all around the only visible source of water. Most of the kids went for water bottles or canteens. Coro went for the tap for cacti, and a small backpack. The knife and reflective tarp inside the backpack kept her alive: allowing her to keep herself warm at night and the heat off her head at day. 

Her fellow District tribute died by the end of the second day to someone else’s knife. By the end of day three the sandstorms began. Coro’s memories blurred after that. Several people choked on the sand. Someone else got strangled. Somehow, everyone ended up in a pit of some sort. What happened next, Coro wished she could forget.

But she and small knife survived. She had won. The Arena took two fingers, part of a leg, and her love for uninterrupted horizons, but it didn’t take her life.

Now she can’t sleep without her back against a wall and a knife in her hand.

If they are a Victor, what did they choose as their talent/hobby?

Coro’s talent is the fiddle. She has the same one that her family gave her for her fifth birthday. All the people from the Capitol tried to give her new ones. Coro only opened the fancy boxes when forced.

been thinking about that one little spot in the run-up to the temple of bhaal where there's like, 6 or so lootable bodies each rigged on top of blast mines VERY conspicuously, so not super hard to catch on to the trap at play here but like. no amount of knowing what the right approach is will help (if you want to actually loot the bodies without blowing up anyway) because it's so fucking hard to. click on the actual mine to disarm it (much less 6 times), and it's INCREDIBLY easy to misclick and accidentally loot a body (thus triggering all of the mines at once)

imagining whatever game designer came up with this shit sitting there like "oh yeah, bet you thinking you're used to how traps work in this game. bet astarion can disarm just about anything at this point. well, you have forgotten about your literal human limitations, Player. have exactly 3 pixels of real estate between you and a waste of a short rest before a big ass fight"

the punchline: all the loot on the bodies is shit. 10/10 bit would blow up on body #4 again
