Gaia, for my lunar transit chart, I have Sun conjunct Juno in Libra at the 2nd house. I have a Virgo lunar ascendant, and its chart ruler, Mercury, is conjunct asteroid Briede. I also have asteroid Boda conjunct Venus. Both are in the 3rd house in Scorpio. I also have asteroid Groom in the 11th house of Cancer trine both Mercury and asteroid Briede. I also have Moon conjunct Vertex in the 8th house in Aries.

Do you think this could mean meeting my future spouse?

I'm interpreting it in a manner that we may meet in a luxurious place (because of the second house) through a common connection we have (Libra) and then feeling a hint of initial recognition with one another, or just being attracted to each other right away (Sun conjunct Juno). I also think since I have Virgo ascendant this lunar return, I would be more focused on my job and routine in general. This also makes me think that since I have my chart ruler in the 3rd house conjunct Briede, we may meet while I'm in a short distance trip for work. Or when I do meet him, he may give me the feeling of thinking what it would be like to be his wife (Mercury conjunct Briede). This also further proves my prediction that we'll meet because of certain connections (Groom in 11th house, trine Mercury and Briede). Finally, for Moon conjunct Vertex, I included this because I was thinking if this is the transit I actually meet my future spouse, I might exprerience a huge flux in my emotions that are meant to happen because of finally meeting him in the 3D. This could also awaken another transformation for me, triggered by my FS' appearance in my life.

One thing I also forgot: I have Union conjunct South node in the second house in Libra for this transit which also supports my prediction of feeling an initial recognition/attraction with one another.

I'm not sure if they're all right but these are just guesses. What do you think about my interpretation?

It could be but I don't think so. Although, I recommend looking at your union persona chart as well to see if it lines up. Mostly because your union persona chart is what will tell you more specific details about your meeting.

Boda conjunct venus in the 3rd House (lrc) usually means you'll be talking or be very passionate (in libra it's more like day dreaming) about your love life/marriage. You might be focused on your preferences or just thinking about it quite often during this time.

Asteroid Goom in the 11th house, trine Briede & Mercury (lrc) means you will be thinking about your life with your partner like how you'll be in the relationship (researching, but since it's in cancer, you'll likely feel overwhelmed by these feelings). If it has any aspects to pluto, there might be some heartbreak or crying involved TT.

Union conjunct south node in libra (lrc)

You'll likely pay for a reading during this month. Specifically to learn more about a past life relationship or a person from the past. You could be meeting someone related to you in the past as well, although I'm not sure if this is something that will last or not i.e one-off interaction.

None of them really say "Meeting your future spouse" to me, other than lunar return Sun conjunct lunar return Juno. However, as I've said before, these are foreign to you (i.e not your Juno/Sun). So to me, looking at these aspects it's more so you'll meet a potential love interest. I just can't say for certain this is the one.

To me, the lunar return chart can be used to predict when it might happen that year but not exactly describing much else (compared to the union persona chart).

Also...try comparing it to your natal chart & union persona chart as well. The main point should be your solar return chart though (since it's the overarching theme for your year) . See if it's something that will happen that year overall.

Astro Observations: Lunar Return Chart I

Hii! That's a very good question! So Lunar Return Chart is pretty similar to Solar Return Chart, except that it is focused on the moon. While the Sun takes a year to come back, the Moon takes a month, so your Lunar Return Chart change every month. It will tell you how your month will go, what will most likely happen. I have never been through a lot of Lunar RC but I will try yo make an observation post now! I hope you will like it :)

ATTENTION ALL SCP STAFF AT SITE 17

SCP-████ also reffered to as Jólakötturinn or "The Yule Cat" has breached containment. I repeat, Yule Cat has breached containment at Site-17.

Initial reports indicate alarmingly early wake times, in certain cases over 70 days before Yule Cat's usual heightened activity.

Field agents have reported seeing Christmas advertisements and movies mid-October, while civilian reports have been filed as "disturbing and numerous" by the Archive staff. These anomalies are being reported at an accelerated pace indicating a shift in the seasonal balance. The Research sector is working on finding the cause for this disturbance. The Yule Cat has claimed no victims at this time, however, ensuring the safety of civilians has been assigned as top priority.

MTF-Nu-7 ("Hammer Down") and all Icelandic Contaiment Task Forces have been tasked with re-capture. Everyone on site has been instructed to retreat to safe rooms until crisis has been dealt with. This is a direct LRC request by O4. The LRC code is 17/D/RED.

Customer Profile (Interview 1)

The first interview focused on the challenges faced by students at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines for our customer profile, which aims to understand their struggles when visiting the library on the 3rd floor of the LRC. One of their main concerns is arriving at the library only to find no available seating for studying. As a result, they either have to search for another location or wait in the designated area for a seat to become available when another student leaves.

So I prepared questions for them to answer!

1. How does the lack of available space in the library impact your ability to focus and complete your academic work efficiently?  

Personally, dili man gyud ko gaadto sa library but base sa akong mga observations. Maka affect siya, usually most of the time mo adto lang mi dadto mag book sa discussion room medyo puno siya permi mga bisag onsa na time. So maka affect siya kay puno perminti ang libary or elibrary man.

2. How often do you face difficulty finding a seat or space in the library during critical study periods, such as before exams?

Most of the time gyud kada adto nako puno gyud siya. Taga labay nako puno gyud siya permi.

3 .What alternatives have you considered when you are unable to find a place to study in the library, and how effective are they compared to studying in the library?

Mangitaa lang ko og vacant seats sa student lounge  or any vacant gyud sa swkelahan. Dili gyud siya effective compare sa library. Sa library man gyud kay hilom siya and maka focus gyud ka kay ma preasure pod ka sa imong environment kay focus kaayo sila. Unlike dire sa student lounge na naa ontana koy buhaton pero ma tintal ka sa imong sorroundings.

Now you may have noticed, but my submissions have been to Ao3 this year; which have been mostly easier to edit and submit. Mostly. I do appreciate a lot of the in built systems there so expect most of my stuff going forward to go there.

Still, this has been once again very fun! I did lose steam after 25, long before I realised, but it’s still a good exercise.

Now for the fun part.

The highlights of the challenge for me.

“Horizon” just plays into some visuals. The open sky during an apparent day contrasted with the reality of a distance sunset. However, I show Izayoi “failing” at first, and revealing a success through a hidden plan from the start. Also, “measured and proportionate response”

“Third-Rate” ”Reticent”, and “Cloud Nine” somewhat act as a trio, with Cloud Nine explicitly following up the present day part of “Third-Rate”. “Third-Rate” is especially important to me, as this character has really been inspiring to play in roleplay on Light lately, and this expands on some very traumatic background themes which lurk behind a character initially conceived as “a more down to Earth and approachable Izayoi”. The warning tags are mostly to be safe, but it also contains my hardest hitting internal monologue.

”Stamp” is worth a mention as it explicitly ties into a piece by Koi, as an in-character reply to that. This is one of many pieces this year that I’ve written in a Mielikki-WoL continuity, with Izayoi here having been coincidentally requested by Koana prior to Mia being sought out by Wuk-Lamat; and here I play a little with some Urianger-adjacent vibes of having promised to be open and not lie to those few Izayoi genuinely holds dear, only to be expected to anyway and it tearing her apart. Don’t worry though, she makes her frustrations towards her current employer very known in “Morsel”, which might just be the funniest thing I’ve written all month.

”Telling” acts as another example of “Izayoi uses an apparent defeat as a ploy” and also “means entirely divorced from raw strength to succeed”. Granted, “not-Bonharve” gets his ass beaten, but as he says, that wouldn’t help their case. What did, happened before that. My tongue in cheek nickname for the villain comes from him being inspired by an antagonist from an rp plot which didn’t quite take off.

As per my usual trend of avoiding the actual word itself (where I can), “Hackneyed” proved especially difficult for me as I didn’t know what, in-universe, had lost its appeal. So instead I went for light-hearted meta commentary about observations in roleplay in the LRC.

“Stable” was the result of some MAJOR “future child” brainrot, as well as wanting to write about one of the possible “bad timelines” we know about. Very Future Trunks/Silver the Hedgehog. After a lengthly discussion with Koi about details, this is what I came up with. Since this is the Black Rose timeline, some details are different from Koi’s own piece about this character later. I don’t name drop him here, ironically for future-proofing. Stable refers to the unstable device/temporal travel, but also to emotionally ground himself for a moment.

Length alone should tell you that I had fun with “Duel” - which I notice was also one of last year’s prompts. The challenge here was figuring out a way to write Izayoi’s ancestor working against a vastly stronger foe and impressing her (for consistency with some rp backstory things), without all of Izayoi’s tricks for a true “anyone could beat you this way” win. But it also let me write some direct power mixed in to represent the unrefined form of this character motivation from the ancestor, as well as toy with aesthetics, ability, and personality more or less from scratch.

Last but not least, “Perpetuity” gets a mention for letting me experiment with intentional repetition for dramatic effect. I hope it feels just as spooky when they layers come apart as intended.

Star Dress Mini Series#07

Hello guys, Aashi here and welcome back to my Mini Series of Star Dress where I review SD and discuss its future potential. I am already done with Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Virgo.

The SD for today is Scorpio ♏

Firstly, I was surprised to see the number of battles Scorpio appeared in, despite having very limited moves. He has taken part in almost every battle Lucy had, since she got his Gate Key.

Defeated the Royal Guards of Edolas

Fought against Kain Purgatory in S- class trials

Unison Raid Sand Buster with Wendy's Dragon Roar against Hades

Combined attack with Taurus in GMG

Team up with Yukino during Eclipse Gate arc and then helped in closing it, along with the entire zodiac

Helped in Tartaros when Natsu and Lucy were up against Jackal

Against Brandish Mew of Spriggan 12 in Alveraze arc

And latest, in Lucy vs Mimi 01 in 100YQ

The problem here is that he himself just uses his one move very often (Sand Buster) and then gets OHKOed by people like Kain and Mimi. His other attacks like Sand Spear and Sand Wall aren't that useful either.

Keeping all of that in mind I say, Lucy's SD is pretty useful. It gives her Sand Flight and helps her launch a no of swift attacks on her enemy. Though I don't think it has much raw power, it can still do considerable damage.

Overall Ratings

The overall ratings are as follows:

Attack: 8/10

Defence: 2/10

Versatility: 2/10

Appearance: 7/10

The attack power is good but it leaves her defenceless against opponents with high calibre. Versatility? It has just one move and that too in combination with her spirit. SD looks can be improved. It's good but it can be better and same goes for her powers which leads us to our next point, i.e. future potential for this SD.

Future Potential

Actually, this is one of Lucy's SD that needs a discussion related to SDM. If we observe closely, it is clear that Aquarius X Scorpio SD is Scorpio dominant. Look at that big tail, gauntlet and boots she gets. Wouldn't it be much better if she got a big pony tail and fighter like style instead of those little twig tails and Aquarius top etc. and it was some kind of Scorpio SD Evolution?

I think it would have been a better idea of we got these evolutions instead which had one dominant form and some aspects of other forms. Maybe after that, a completely new SDM that is made by the equal parts of both SD could have made sense.

But anyways, that's not the point of discussion today. So let's look at some moves Lucy can acquire:

Throat Dryer

This was one of the moves that came to my mind when I saw Ajeel vs Erza. Remember, how he tried to kills Erza by absorbing all the water in her body via sand? He absorbed the source of life itself!! The first thing that came to my mind was could Lucy possibly use this spell too?

It may look like playing dirty but things like that shouldn't come to mind when you're literally fighting God Dragons and the lives of your friends is on the line.

Sand-Manipulation

Lucy is not Ajeel but she should be able to use some sand magic too. The only move that Lucy's SD provides is Sand Flight and that's why I think it's good for her to get at least one sand related move. By sand manipulation, I am referring to her controlling small tornadoes or maybe even cancelling some sand spells.

Water-Magic

For starters, Scorpio is actually a water sign so why not have some sand cum water element moves? This was the case when I first saw Lucy using Aqua Metria. She was literally controlling all the sand/ground and turning it into waves (like water). This move could have been a better fit for this SD but they had to show how powerful Aquarius is.

I think, it suits Scorpio better.

The thing to be noted here is that later when she uses Aqua Metria in 100YQ it is a water attack (which Mimi consumes btw😂) but I think this was originally a Scorpio idea that they later scrapped to make it look as if it was always water.

Anyways, after updates it should look somewhat like this:

When compared to my natal chart, it's more like receiving more admirers or even rivals ʕ⁠´⁠•⁠ ⁠ᴥ⁠•̥⁠`⁠ʔ. This month is self focused (leo rising & lrc saturn in the 1st house) My natal union conjuncts lrc Sun & Juno but because of the degree (24° pisces) & the 8th house influence, it's giving secret admirer. Perhaps I'll get a few new stalkers as well TT.

There still could be fatigue that follows throughout the month. Perhaps what I want to do doesn't line up perfectly with how I want things to be executed. Either that or I could be having slight issues with my assignments. As in, it's not going to be as great or effortless as I hope it would be (Libra vs Aries).

🍰 Scorpio 4th House,

I'll be a bit sentimental about my family. Perhaps there will be some disagreements between me and my mother, either that or I'll feel a closer bond to her. They're pretty far away from where I am right now, so it could just mean being quite attached to them energetically. I wonder if I'll experience some paranormal activity since pisces is in the 8th house here.

Yeah, the relationship with my family & close circle will likely deepen here. No fighting, just bonding. My friends & housemates could feel more comfortable around each other. I was planning on doing something special for my blog. Let's call it a little upgrade. Since I have strong Scorpio & Pisces placements, I thought I'd have a dark, ethereal yet still romantic feel. Hoho? Seems like the 'rebrand' will be quite successful! Perhaps I'll be trying something new too. My housemates are quite active on TikTok so I'll probably be going on their lives here and there.
