Pour les francophones, la délicate et bienfaisante interview de Clara Luciani sur le podcast de La Poudre est disponible sur Spotify. De quoi remédier au gloom de l’automne👌🏼 For the French speaking followers, I recommend the gentle and inspiring interview of the musical artist Clara Luciani on the podcast La Poudre . Since music transcends language, you can also listen to Clara’s album Sainte-Victoire on Spotify👌🏼

Elizabeth Jane Cochrane, known as Nellie Bly, is an American journalist, pioneer of a new investigative journalism. She is the 1st woman to have traveled around the world in 72 days, without being accompanied by a man.
She left The Pittsburgh Dispatch in 1887 to travel to New York where she applied for The New York Tribune, The New York Times and The New York World by Joseph Pulitzer, who recruited her. Pulitzer promised her a contract if she managed to infiltrate a psychiatric asylum. Her first task would be to write an article about a madhouse for women called the Blackwell’s Island Asylum in Roosevelt Island. Pretending to be ill and emulating psychiatric problems in order to be interned : she stayed ten days in the facility.
At the time of its publication, the report made the front page of numerous news papers, revealing the terrible living conditions of the patients and the horror of the methods applied. She then publish her adventure "Ten Days in a Mad-House" under the pseudonym L. Munro, bringing about radical change in medical practices.
This method of undercover journalism will become her specialty and will later inspire what is famously known as Gonzo journalism.

I created this animation based on a lovely moment during the interviews about Transparent in Sex And the Series, where Jeffrey Tambor says : « Maura even got revealed makeup wise. I remember seeing her. She looked very pretty, she looked like I thought she was gonna look. I remember she was kinda shy... It was a very interesting moment. Quite beautiful. And there. There was my new friend Maura. Appearing. »
