If idk bout it then it ain't my problem!

This whole shit show of a rant was brought to you because Just a few days ago I was at a get together with friends and while all of us were bouncing our hyper fixations off of each other (you know like totally definitely neruo-typical people do, which is definitely what we are) the talk of Hazbin got brought up and my friends gave me the "Honey your taste in men is broken" and in response the quote that came out of my mouth, as a Trans FTM was

Zelink gets Isekaied into BG3 Pt7: Camp Emotional Turmoil

Zelda- High Elf Draconic Lineage Sorcerer

Link- Half Wood Elf Champion Fighter

So far: Team Link defeated Auntie Ethel and saved Mayrina. Link got all melancholic.

Team Link returns to camp not long after Team Zelda gets back. Link jog-walks up to Zelda and gives her a possessive kiss right off the bat. Karlach audibly coos and everyone (except Lae'zel) smirks at the display.

Zelda is flustered, since Link was reluctant to show affection before, and asks him what's happened. He says he'll explain when they debrief.

Once the party changes into camp clothes and eats dinner, Zelda gives her team's debrief. They cleared out the area's Gnolls and played firefighter at Waukeen's rest.

Once Duke Ravengard comes up, Wyll reveals that's his father. Questions ensue. Moonrise Towers becomes an objective.

Moving on, Zelda tells them about the Githyanki encounter. Most relevantly, the Gith are hunting Shadowheart's artefact. Zelda gently (compared to how Lae'zel would have) coaxes an explanation out of Shadowheart.

Shadowheart tells them all she's able. She's on a mission for Lady Shar and has an amount of amnesia because of it.

Zelda diffuses some tension between Shadowheart and Lae'zel.

Link tells the party about Auntie Ethel and her true nature; a Hag. He explains that they defeated her and saved a woman named Mayrina. He tells Mayrina's story and tells them about the wand.

Lae'zel and Astarion are a little upset that no progress was made with the Goblins, but not so upset that anyone makes a scene.

Before they wrap up, Link mentions Gandrel and how he is hunting Astarion and a possible connection to a village attack and child abduction. The party is understandably perturbed, but Astarion is quick to tell them about Cazador and how he'd rarely done anything that he hadn't been ordered to. That conversation goes as normal.

While the group discusses their moves for the next day, Mizora appears out of the campfire and turns Wyll into a devil. Everyone is appropriately broken up about it. Link doesn't quite get it, since it just looks like he had horns now, but he reads the room.

Before they go to sleep that night, Zelda asks Link if he's ok and if Mayrina is the reason why he acted differently. Link explains that Mayrina being willing to travel with her undead husband on the hope that he can be restored made him think of how far he'd gone to bring her back. Twice. And he couldn't help but think how he might act in Mayrina's place. That rabbit hole didn't lead anywhere good.

Zelda says something comforting, but the question lingers in their minds. They decide to sleep in the same bedroll that night. (No hanky panky. Sorry, voyeurs!)

That night, the party is visited by the Dream Visitor for the first time.

Zelda's visitor looks a lot like a Gerudo, a few features reminiscent of Urbosa. That sets off all kinds of warning bells. She plays along, getting whatever information she can while waiting for the Visitor to make a mistake. When the Visitor claims to be an adventurer from Baldur's Gate, Zelda jumps.

"How did a Gerudo make it to Baldur's Gate?"

When the Visitor can't answer, Zelda demands their true identity. If the urging to use the tadpole's powers wasn't suspicious enough, this all but confirms her suspicions. Or confirms the validity of being suspicious.

The Visitor simply asks for trust before the dream ends.

The next morning, Zelda gathers everyone together to tell them about the dream. Link reports a similar dream with a visitor that resembled King Rhoam, but Hylians and Elves are similar enough that he didn't make the same connection Zelda did.

Everyone else reports a similar dream in turn and, with the revelation that the visitor(s) is likely an illusory form, even those who are usually willing to absorb more tadpoles, like Astarion, are adamantly against it. With the group's resolve hardened, they gear up and prepare to face the Goblin Camp.

Crack Au where Astarion finds Ghirahim's sword in buttfuck nowhere in the Underdark

Thinking about how they would meet

Astarion just wandering off and finding an obviously cursed sword that is radiating evil and decides to drag it back to camp because it's him

Then Ghirahim is confused that someone found him and had the power to drag him all the way there

Then Ghirahim is ready to flamboyantly introduce himself to everyone at camp, he just gets a few looks from people who are not suprised and to realize that the guy that dragged him back shares a few ideals and thoughts as him

Then him and Astarion gossip for hours and Ghirahim convinces Astarion (very easily, i mention) to try and revive an old god of destruction with him

Zelink gets Isekaied into BG3 Pt5: Let's Split Up, Gang!

Zelda- High Elf Draconic Lineage Sorcerer

Link- Half Wood Elf Champion Fighter

So far: Karlach has joined the party, Zelda has begun her infernal machinery research, and Karlach asks Link about his relationship with Zelda

When Zelda finally says goodbye to Dammon, she finds Link looking uncomfortable with Karlach and Astarion on either side of him. She asks what's wrong and Link takes the opportunity to escape and ask where they're going next.

Zelda is split between continuing to explore across the bridge and looking into Moonhaven more. Lae'zel suggests they split into two teams of four to explore both. Zelink is shaken by the suggestion, but can't deny the idea.

Team Link (Link, Wyll, Shadowheart, and Gale) will investigate Moonhaven.

Team Zelda (Zelda, Karlach, Lae'zel, and Astarion) will explore The Risen Road.

The teams will meet back up at camp (probably outside The Grove) at [time is a nebulous concept.]

As the group finishes distributing resources, Zelda hugs Link. She gives him a meaningful kiss goodbye before Team Zelda warps to their destination, leaving him stunned.

Link is mercifully left with the group least likely to hound him for information, but is still asked a few questions that he responds to with characteristic brevity before Team Link warps back to Moonhaven.

Karlach and Astarion ask Zelda about her and Link in their own ways as they walk and Zelda is much more open to answering than her boyfriend.

She tells them they've been living together since the end of the Calamity and started dating a year or so after that. Astarion asks about marriage and she gets bashful, saying they're waiting for the kingdom to get back on its feet. Lae'zel is watching the environment to try and distract herself from this inane dribble.

Lae'zel notices some movement up the road from where they dealt with the Gnolls. Evidently, there were even more Gnolls. Lae'zel advises Zelda to have herself and Karlach head straight in and let her and Astarion sneak up the small hill and give them support from the high ground. Zelda gives the thumbs up and Team Zelda makes short work of the Gnolls, though the moment is sullied when they find a pair of corpses in the cave. That Iron Flask they find is spooky.

Team Zelda continues and finds Waukeen's Rest on fire. Zelda immediately orders the party to search & rescue or join these nice knightly-looking people to put out the fires. She asks Karlach just how fireproof she is. Karlach enthusiastically says she can take a quick pop into an inferno if need be.

Astarion takes a bucket and heads into the less-enflamed buildings and does some light looting veiled as looking for survivors.

Lae'zel kicks down the front door and lets Karlach take the lead into the building. Zelda follows, hitting every blaze with Ray of Frost as she goes.

They get Florrick out, but Zelda hears someone yelling for help from a closed room. She recognizes that the room will ignite further if they open the door and she has Karlach bust in, find the guy, and get out before she blasts the room with a real big Ray of Frost (Ice Storm)

While Zelda goes around magically putting out fires, the rest of the team talks to Florrick and the Flaming Fist, getting the plot info (Astarion takes the lead.) Duke Ravengard, Moonrise Towers, etc.

During a short rest, the team fills Zelda in on what they've learned.

After their rest, they continue down the road and see the red dragon flying overhead. Lae'zel jogs ahead of the party to meet her fellow Gith.

The encounter begins as normal with Lae'zel taking the lead, but eventually, Voss' dragon takes an interest in Zelda. Zelda can feel that the dragon means her no harm and gently communes with it. This impresses Voss enough to believe Lae'zel's deception (or gives Lae'zel the confidence to convincingly lie) and the encounter ends without conflict.

With the knowledge that the Gith are searching for Shadowheart's artefact, Team Zelda decides to head back to camp for the time being.

Zelink gets Isekaied into BG3 Pt8: Goblin Camp

Zelda- High Elf Draconic Lineage Sorcerer

Link- Half Wood Elf Champion Fighter

So far: Team Zelda explored the Risen Road, Team Link dealt with Lady Ethel and Mayrina, and the Dream Visitor did an oopsie.

The party approaches the Goblin checkpoint outside the camp proper. Zelda, with the confidence of her mental victory over the Dream Visitor, uses her aura of authority (unrelated to the tadpole) to get the past the guards.

Right before they cross the bridge, the voice of The Absolute begins to dominate the party's minds. However, instead of the artefact, the Triforce symbol lights up on Zelda's hand and silences it with the sound of the bell of creation. (The sound that goes off when Zelda uses her power in BotW.)

The glowing Triforce fades and becomes a tattoo on her hand. In the confusion afterward, Gale asks to analyze the new tattoo. Once he does, he struggles to convey what he's found. Whatever power Zelda... used(?) was magical, but not of the Weave. His mind is racing, but Wyll steadies him. They have only conjecture and theories, so they resolve to continue on and wait for camp to get Gale to do more research.

In the Goblins' courtyard camp, the first thing they notice is Volo. Link is the only one who met him, since he left after interviewing Link about his encounter with Goblins. He gets dragged off into the Shattered Sanctum by Gribbo as usual.

Zelda plays with the Owlbear cub, Lae'zel humbles Crusher, Gale tricks Klagga out of the poem, and Astarion works his magic on Grat.

Inside the Shattered Sanctum, they first meet Priestess Gut. Zelda puts on a pretty good show of claiming that she's received a "divine message from The Absolute" that she needs to tell her in a more private setting. On the way to her chapel, she tells the party via tadpole link to ambush her on her mark. The assassination goes off without a hitch and Zelda says a prayer.

The party starts to investigate the Defiled Temple and takes out Polma the Ogre. During the short rest they take there, they discuss the strategy for the rest of the camp. They were unable to do recon due to running into Gut immediately upon entering. Link suggests a plan of recon and sabotage. Scope out the floor plan, locate Dror Ragzlin and Minthara, find and/or free any prisoners they can, destroy as many war drums as possible, and take out and hide as many patrolling guards as they can manage.

By exploring a bit further, Gale finds the Selunite puzzle room and decide to explore a bit before carrying out their plan. They find the Selunite Outpost in the Underdark. As fascinated as Zelda is, they have enough on their plate and go back up to carry out their plan.

The plan goes pretty well. Volo and Liam are freed, several drums and even more guards are taken out, Abdirak has no takers.

The party enters the worg pens and instead of demanding for the Goblins to leave the bear alone, Zelda tells the party to be ready to attack.

The fight's a bit chaotic, but it is a successful fight. Link and Zelda are the most surprised to see the bear turn into Halsin.

The conversation with Halsin goes as normal, no great solution to the tadpoles and the Grove is still in danger.

The party plus Halsin discuss the remaining Goblin leaders and how to go about dealing with them. They decide that Minthara is in a secluded enough area to take her out without alerting the rest of the camp. Then Ragzlin will be a full battle.

For the sake of stealth, Zelda asks Halsin to stay in the Worg Pen while they deal with Minthara.

The Minthara operation goes a bit sloppy, but luckily Zelda inadvertently hits Minthara with her staff in a pressure point as the Drow lunges at her, knocking her out. Minthara is left on the floor there since the Goblins in the room needed a bit more attention to eliminate.

The party fetches Halsin and in a glorious battle, the defeat Dror Ragzlin and claim the cult's treasure.

Right before the party warps back to the Grove, Link leans out the front door, sounds Lump's Warhorn, and they leave to let the Ogres have their fun.

Zelink gets Isekaied into BG3 Pt4: Moonhaven and Karlach

So far: Zelink, Gale, and Astarion have come clean about their big secrets.

The party wakes up and Zelda is surprised to find everyone is tending to look to her for direction and instruction. Link gives her the all ready signal to move out before she can consider how she became the leader of this little group.

They run into Edowin's corpse and Zelda hears the Dream Voice for the first time. It fails to tempt her to absorb the tadpole.

After meeting Scratch and the Owlbears, the party makes their way into Moonhaven.

It turns out that being a demi-god who has lived for untold millennia being backed up by another demi-god and a handful of very capable-looking combatants makes you very persuasive to goblins. As such, they make it into the Blighted Village and rescue Barcus.

They take care of the well spiders, find a forge in a basement, and make a deal with an articulate ogre.

Another basement yields a mysterious magical mirror that lets the party in because Zelda was nice to it. In the adjoining room they find a VERY spooky book that Zelda gives to Gale for safe keeping, much to Astarion's chagrin.

They continue north, passing the love shack because Zelda is not interested in investigating at all.

Raphael appears in front of the party for the first time and Link is instantly been him and Zelda. Raphael offers his bargain and is shut down hard. He leaves in a huff and the group discuss what just happened.

Wyll is most vocal about resisting the devil at every turn, Astarion is more open to it but ultimately, Zelda voices her policy of avoiding Raphael in the future.

They cross the bridge, deal with the Gnolls, and find Karlach. Zelda talks down Wyll by appealing to his empathy and common sense. Karlach joins the party!

They make short work of the "Paladins of Tyr," and everyone clears out while Karlach lets off some steam.

When Karlach cools off (relatively speaking) Zelda is very concerned about her. She reaches out to touch the Tiefling, but Karlach leans away just in time before explaining the whole situation with her heart, her heat, and her story.

Once her concern wears off, Zelda asks as many questions about the infernal engine as she can before Karlach just firmly suggests she ask an infernal mechanic instead. That is enough to get Zelda to warp the party back to the Grove to talk to Dammon.

After getting Karlach's heart tuned up, Zelda has plenty of questions for Dammon and the two chat for a while about infernal machinery which allows the party to take a short rest.

During this rest, Karlach asks Link the question everyone else was a bit too polite to ask; what's the deal with him and Zelda?

Zelink gets Isekaied into BG3 Pt9: Celebrate Good Times, Come On!

So far: With the Goblin leaders defeated and the Ogres running roughshod over the camp, the party warps back to the Emerald Grove.

The party returns to the Emerald Grove and refuses the payment from Zevlor (much to Astarion's chagrin) and agrees to host a party at their camp after they meet with Halsin.

Zelink, Wyll, and Gale go to check in with the Druids while the rest of the crew either help the Tieflings pack or prepare the camp for the party.

They walk in on Halsin reading Kahga the riot act. Halsin pledges to discuss their next steps after the party that evening. After Zelda collects their reward, it's party time!

Link and Zelda dance together to Alfira's music.

Lae'zel gives Link her "how I long to taste you" spiel, but admits Zelda is a better match for him, despite her comparative weakness. Link might have taken issue with her calling Zelda weak, but he's reeling from the most intense flirtation he received since the Great Fairies.

Link goes to ask Halsin some fairy-related questions.

Zelda takes a moment to talk to Gale and asks him why he's buried himself in books and notes instead of enjoying himself. He's too fascinated by the Triforce power Zelda exhibited earlier that day.

"My options are to either research this, or talk somebody's ear off about this until they beat me senseless. I'm saving myself a concussion and my prospective assailant a hairline fracture."

Gale tells her how her Golden Power is like a Weave unto itself. Like the Shadow Weave, but concentrated and... light. He'd been intimate with the goddess of magic, but feeling the power Zelda, a pretty tame avatar of a different goddess, was... different. It's giving him... blasphemous thoughts.

After a brief misunderstanding, Gale tells Zelda how incredibly proud of her he his and how blessed he is to have her with him on this journey. They share a hug and Gale joins Zelda's Hall of Dads.

Link finds Wyll at the riverbank lamenting his new, demonic form and his kidnapped father. Link sympathizes, noting how he had his memories, his home, his future, and his arm taken from him at one time or another by the Calamity and/or Ganondorf. The Blade of Frontiers and Hero of the Wild share a silent moment of melancholy over the strife of the path of the hero. Though they find some comfort in how they do not travel it alone.

The next morning, Halsin explains Moonrise Towers, the Shadow Curse (kind of,) and the potential routes to get there. He also pledges to travel with the group to Moonrise.

After some discussion, the group decides to start by going through the Mountain Pass, mostly since the Creche is most likely in that direction.

Zelink gets Isekaied into BG3 Pt3: The Emerald Grove & First Camp

Story so far- Zelda has collected the first four companions, and Zelda admits she is some kind of holy being. Everyone's still cool.

The party leaves the temple and continue on. Zelda and Gale continue to chat.

The party helps repel the Goblin attack on the Grove's gate with no casualties.

Once through the gate, they meet Wyll who tells them about Karlach and joins their party. Zelda sees Wyll like a real-life hero from a book. She wonders if this is how the citizens imagined Link before the Calamity.

They make their way down the stairs and after the Tieflings are sent away and they approach the guards, Zelda spots a familiar head of dirty-blonde hair. Before the guards can get through their spiel, Zelda yells for Link who (with the Master Sword on his back) immediately whips his head around and sprints toward her. She immediately wraps him up in a hug, which he returns after a moment of hesitation.

She introduces Link to the party as her 'protector and partner' or something appropriately vague like that, and then introduces her party to him. Wyll notes how he had a feeling she was tied to Link in some way.

Link leads the party toward Kahga and explains his story up to this point. He was looking for Zelda on the Nautiloid, and woke up after the crash to an approaching Goblin patrol. He struggled to take them out due to his dazed state and found his way to the Grove where the Druids healed him as thanks for taking out some Goblins.

They enter the inner sanctum to see Kahga tormenting Arabella. Zelda is having none of that! She steps between Teela and Arabella. When Teela hisses threateningly, she stares it down, appearing to use Dominate Beast without a verbal component which astounds Gale.

Link stands at Zelda's side and Wyll ushers Arabella away from the conflict.

Ultimately, no real change from canon; Kahga plans on going ahead with the ritual and Zelda intends to talk to Zevlor about getting the Tieflings out safely.

They talk to Nettie and Link actually feels a silent dread about the whole ceremorphosis situation.

After talking to Zevlor about helping the Tieflings, the group leaves the Grove and makes camp for the first time a little ways down the road.

Link, alone with Zelda for the first time asks her about the scales. Zelda realizes she has scales and is terrified. Is the Light Dragon coming back? Is she losing her identity?

Zelda with Link at her back asks Gale about the scales. He's a little confused that she hadn't noticed them before but explains that it's likely that she has dragon in the blood. This is where Gale feels he needs to confront Zelda about her mysterious nature. She knows she's holy but not that she's draconic? She's a magical prodigy that even Gale is impressed by, but didn't know what a spell was when she woke up? The party is uneasy and Gale tells her as much.

Zelda, with Link's counsel, resolves to come clean about everything. Hyrule, the Calamity, Zelda's power, the Master Sword, the Light Dragon, everything. Well, everything that seems relevant at the time.

Lae'Zel is intrigued and glad to have such formidable allies. When she asks for a description of the Light Dragon, she's a little disappointed at how meek it sounds.

Shadowheart is reeling, unsure what to make of it, but she feels a kinship with Link as a fellow amnesiac.

Wyll is humbled by their exploits and pledges to help them beyond their shared tadpole problem.

Gale is FLOORED and supportive, vowing to help Zelda navigate the world of magic. He also rides the momentum to come clean about his own secret; the orb. Zelda immediately voices her support and the rest of the party follows suit with varying degrees of enthusiasm.

Astarion sees the benefit in having a pair of demi-gods on his side and so, after Gale, comes clean about his vampiric side. Nobody is surprised except for Zelda and Link who didn't even know that vampires were a thing.
