not the content you signed up for but i’ve been feeling kind of off lately — like a drop, but not quite a sub drop, since that usually comes from actually having sex. i think it’s because my libido’s crashing; i haven’t been in the mood for anything sexual lately, and that wouldn’t be that big of a problem but this time something’s really off and it’s starting to feel overwhelmingly wrong. i tried ignoring it, but it’s gotten to the point where it’s just uncomfortable.
nothing feels good to do and being on tumblr 24/7 isn’t helping much either so i might have to take a little break. hoping it passes soon, but if i seem out of it, that’s why.

hey asexual and low libido gang
STOP FORCING YOURSELF TO HAVE SEX WITH YOUR PARTNER BECAUSE YOU WANT TO PLEASE THEM WHEN YOU DONT WANT TO
a relationship should be fitting both you and your partners needs together, not at the expense or detriment of one or the other
you should feel safe, comfortable and unpressured - by them and yourself

I genuinely can't tell for the life of me if I'm asexual or if I just have a low libido. Sometimes my body feels aroused by touch, but sex just feels weird and i end up regretting it every time.

tw: fertility
This is something really personal, and I’ve chosen to keep this very private with people that know me in real life, but I need a safe place to share this.
I had a miscarriage three weeks ago.
The pregnancy wasn’t planned, but the loss has been so hard to cope with. Some days I hold it together okay. Some days I’m a weeping, falling apart mess. Also my libido has been so incredibly low since the miscarriage and I honestly just don’t feel like myself sexually right now.
I have a ton of DMs I haven’t responded to cause I just haven’t had the strength, so if I haven’t responded, I’m sorry. I’m not ignoring you. I don’t know when I’ll be back to normal, but that’s what’s been going on in my life.

How to Boost Your Libido Female: Natural Ways to Enhance Your Sex Drive
Welcome to Top Health Coach! Many women experience fluctuations in libido at different points in their lives, and it can often be a source of frustration or concern. Whether it’s due to stress, hormonal imbalances, or lifestyle factors, a reduced sex drive is common. The good news is that there are many natural ways to boost your libido and improve your overall sexual health. In this blog, we will explore some effective strategies and tips on how to boost your libido as a female naturally.
youtube
1. Exercise Regularly
Physical activity is one of the most effective ways to boost your libido. Exercise improves blood circulation, enhances mood, reduces stress, and helps regulate hormones, all of which are crucial for maintaining a healthy sex drive. Regular exercise can also help improve body image, which is often linked to a woman’s sexual desire.
How it helps: Exercise stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's natural "feel-good" hormones, and boosts energy levels. In addition, cardiovascular exercise (like running or swimming) improves blood flow to the pelvic region, which can enhance sexual arousal.
What to do: Try to engage in moderate-intensity exercises, such as walking, running, or cycling, for at least 30 minutes a day, several times a week.
2. Prioritize Sleep
Adequate sleep is essential for overall health and plays a significant role in boosting your libido. When you're well-rested, your body has the energy to engage in intimacy, and your hormones stay balanced. Sleep deprivation can lead to increased stress and fatigue, which can directly affect your sex drive.
How it helps: Sleep promotes hormone regulation, including the release of testosterone, which plays a key role in libido. A lack of sleep can increase cortisol (stress hormone) levels, which can dampen your sexual desire.
What to do: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Create a relaxing bedtime routine, avoid electronics before bed, and keep your sleep environment cool and comfortable.
3. Reduce Stress
Stress is one of the most significant libido killers. Chronic stress can affect your body’s ability to relax, making it difficult to feel aroused. High stress levels lead to the release of cortisol, which can interfere with your hormone balance and lower sexual desire.
How it helps: Managing stress can help regulate cortisol levels, improve mood, and restore balance to your hormones. Stress-relief techniques also help you become more in touch with your body, making it easier to connect emotionally and physically with your partner.
What to do: Practice mindfulness or meditation, try yoga, or engage in deep breathing exercises. Taking time for yourself to relax and unwind can help reduce stress and improve your overall libido.
4. Maintain a Healthy Diet
What you eat plays a direct role in regulating hormones and maintaining energy levels. A well-balanced diet full of vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats can help keep your hormones balanced, which is key for boosting libido. Certain foods are known to support sexual health by improving blood circulation and enhancing arousal.
How it helps: Foods like avocados, berries, dark chocolate, and nuts are rich in nutrients that support circulation, hormone production, and overall sexual health. For instance, foods high in zinc, such as oysters and pumpkin seeds, help regulate testosterone levels.
What to do: Incorporate a variety of nutrient-dense foods, such as leafy greens, fruits, healthy fats, and lean proteins, into your daily meals to naturally enhance your libido.
5. Strengthen Emotional Intimacy
Sexual desire is not just about physical attraction – emotional intimacy plays a crucial role in a woman’s libido. Feeling emotionally connected with your partner can enhance the overall sexual experience and increase your desire for intimacy.
How it helps: When you feel emotionally secure and connected, it’s easier to relax and enjoy the physical aspects of intimacy. Emotional intimacy helps foster trust and affection, which can naturally boost your libido.
What to do: Spend quality time together, engage in deep conversations, and show appreciation for each other. Physical touch, such as holding hands or hugging, can also enhance emotional closeness and create a deeper bond.
6. Consider Herbal Supplements
Certain herbal supplements have been traditionally used to boost libido in women. While more research is needed to fully understand their effectiveness, some herbs have shown promise in increasing sexual desire.
How it helps: Herbs like maca root, tribulus terrestris, and ginseng have been used to enhance libido by supporting hormone balance, improving circulation, and reducing fatigue. However, always consult with a healthcare provider before using supplements, as they may interact with other medications or conditions.
What to do: If you're interested in trying herbal supplements, talk to your doctor to ensure they’re safe for you. Maca root, for example, is often available in powdered form and can be added to smoothies or taken as a capsule.
7. Consult a Healthcare Provider
If you’ve tried lifestyle changes and still experience low libido, it may be time to consult a healthcare provider. Hormonal imbalances, health conditions, or medications could be contributing to your low libido. A doctor can help identify the underlying cause and offer treatment options.
How it helps: A healthcare provider can assess your hormone levels, recommend therapies (such as hormone replacement therapy or counseling), and provide solutions tailored to your needs.
What to do: Schedule an appointment with your doctor if you feel your libido is consistently low and affecting your quality of life. Be open about your symptoms and any other health concerns you may have.
Conclusion
When it comes to how to boost your libido as a female, there are several natural methods you can explore. Regular exercise, better sleep, stress management, a healthy diet, emotional intimacy with your partner, and potential herbal supplements all play a role in maintaining and boosting sexual desire. By taking a holistic approach to your health, you can restore your libido and enjoy a more fulfilling sex life.

Kinda weird, but I’ve always headcanoned Vox as being a low-libido graysexual. I imagine that he’s not fond of sex, and has to be very careful about it because TVs and fluids don’t mix, and his flatscreen head would probably break if you kissed him too hard

Unlocking Desire: Understanding and Addressing Low Libido (Low Sex Drive)
Low libido (low sex drive) is a decrease in the frequency and/or intensity of sexual desire that you previously experienced. It might be either transitory or long-term.
Libido is your general sexual drive or urge to engage in sexual activities, such as sex with a partner or masturbation. Libido is a complicated phenomenon that is influenced by biological, psychological, and social variables. Sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen) and neurotransmitters (dopamine and oxytocin) influence libido.
Libido naturally differs greatly from person to person. Your sexual urge can also fluctuate during your life. There is no right or incorrect degree of desire. Some people have sex or want to have sex every day, while others may only have sex once or twice a year, if at all. The "right" or "normal" libido is determined by your personal tastes and life circumstances.
