the only thing that makes me sad about living in my town is that there is not a single person I wanna date and yet I wanna go to all the cute city events with somebody :’)

for example our arts & sciences museum is hosting a pottery class on saturday, and next week the symphony is having a special concert featuring film score music & im dying to go

I don’t mind doing these things alone or with a friend but gosh wouldn’t it be cute to take a date instead

cold weather finally blew in so LOTR: fellowship, cinnamon lattes & pecan pie it is

things I love: the built-in shelf storage underneath the island (nice to display cookbooks or other collected items), long natural wood counters with plenty of cabinets underneath, open shelving for cutting boards, plants, more cookbooks, hanging lights with pretty bulbs, natural finishes on almost everything, including the bar chairs, natural light everywhere

I also found this photo of her dining room, and I love her dining table so much and the way it feels tucked in a corner, sort of intimate, and the small finishes she includes like candles and pottery

and just for fun, here are some photos of the living room too <3 the pillows and throws, the low sofa for lounging and reading, the wood stove, the candles again, the hanging plants, the wicker baskets, and of course the shelves

I think I’ve fallen in love, nobody help me, I’m quite content where I’m at

for my birthday yesterday, I made some little collages of my favorite things I got to see during my 24th year. for a year that’s been more challenging mentally than others previous, seeing these photos spread out kind of helped me exhale and remember how beautiful life is, even when it doesn’t go the way I planned. kind of makes me wanna keep breathing for another year. ok that’s all
