wc: 0.3 K summary: You and Simon work together. He brings dead souls to you, you give them a new life. A constant cycle of life and death. But what happens if an angel loses its wing? warnings: angst/no comfort, no y/n used, religious themes, graphic descriptions a/n: got this idea on a random wednesday from a random picture I saw and here it is. Keep in mind, this is just a concept idea for now. Enjoy!!

Rosy blood mixes up at the shore near you. The usual, crystal-clear sand is getting dirty from your mess. A mess you can‘t control.

Your once clean and peaceful working area turned upside down; clouds dark with a hard stench of iron and stark wind.

Finally, you manage to catch your breath, only able to hear your shallow and slow breaths that are painful to intake. The once favoured place of yours got destroyed after one mistake. The dead souls you give a new life to are supposed to never sin once they return to earth.

The demon you work with hasn‘t visited you yet. But you find yourself wishing he‘d be here. Your wing, that got ripped off without batting an eye, still lays somewhere around your area. The once white feathers now a dirty grey with hints of blood droplets. You skin at your back, once clean and smooth, now decorated with a large scar where your right wing once was.

It feels like it stopped bleeding; not sure if that‘s a good sign or not.

A soft sound of someone walking through sand interrupts your racing thoughts, making you flinch. You turn your body around with effort, hissing when your back muscles flex and tense from the movement.

Ghost, already weary of the situation, stops in his tracks, taking in the scene before him again. And again, he tries to process the pure gore he sees before him. Your eyes wide, scared; face falling into shadows, destroying your once innocent appearance.

Tucking away the dead soul he carries in a small sack of pearls, he strides over, hopeful he isn‘t too late.

You feel his strong hand cup your face, falling into his touch suddenly. Everything feels heavy and unfamiliar, taking every muscle and vein to stay awake. Maybe the blood that flowed from your back was too much. Maybe you are finally dying again. And your trusted demon has to take your soul instead of watching your hands form another life for someone else.

💀 You were in your hidey hole without anything binding your when Soda came in looking for you.

💀 He went to cuddle next to you when he felt something soft and squishy, he tilted his head and poked at your chest which made you yelp.

💀 His little mate has squishy parts in the chest? he doesn't remember that, he's confused as he's never noticed you with any squishy bits in that area, in fact, you always had some kind of armor or something for some reason, were they organs spilling out? Now he can't have that! Humans need those he thinks!

💀 He chitters worryingly, trying to pull up your shirt to help you push back in your organs, but you kept pushing him away.

💀 He eventually gestured to parts of his body that showed his rotten body making a pushing in movement, you let out a long ooohhhhh and assure him it's not that.

💀 You explain to him (to a degree) and he explains it to the others.

💀 Bo thinks he remembers seeing bandages on others because they're hurt so the first time you show him, he's all over you comforting you so his little mate won't be sad that they got hurt. He is very much blaming himself, but Soda quickly explains you're not hurt at all.

💀 They start looking for bandages, binders, sports bras, compression wear, anything that looks like what you usually wear.

💀 Screw has a bunch of things he's hoarded so he goes through his pile looking for clothes and the sort that he think's you'd like.

💀 Ribs has the guilty pleasure of burying his face in your chest. You're just so warm and soft and squishy!!!

💀 If you ever feel gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia, they'll sense you feeling a bit under the weather and love on you so much you'll forget all about it. Don't be sad, you're perfect!

💀 If you ever do get top surgery, maybe from travelling to a large community of survivors or other, they wouldn't change their feelings towards you.

💀 They's be curious about your scars though, Bo would be furious thinking they hurt you or ate your squishy bits or something.

💀 Screw is feeling your chest now feeling the new flat texture of your chest.

Starring: Ruki Mukami (CV: Takahiro Sakurai), Kou Mukami (CV: Ryōhei Kimura), Yuma Mukami (CV: Tatsuhisa Suzuki), Azusa Mukami (CV: Daisuke Kishio)

Plot: It's Halloween, and Kou wants to have a party! Since costumes are a must for a proper Halloween celebration, he has brought a few home from work, insisting that his brothers wear them for the occasion. While Azusa is happy to go along with Kou's idea, Ruki, and especially Yuma, are less enthusiastic but relent in the face of their brother's stubbornness—something the latter quickly comes to regret.

My Thoughts: As someone who loves both Halloween and the dynamic between the Mukamis, I (unlike Yuma and Yui) enjoyed this one a lot! The CD does a great job showcasing the chaotic and unhinged energy of the younger brothers, while Ruki briefly displays a surprisingly brutal side to his usual snarky remarks. I'll admit that it did make me laugh, which I feel slightly bad for. Poor Yuma, man.

I'm sure that some of you have seen the official art of the brothers in Halloween costumes, but I for one never knew that it was connected to a Drama CD! Much less this particular one, since the costumes the boys are wearing on the disc initially led me to believe that the story would be Alice in Wonderland-related. Like an AU, or a play, or a fever dream of Yui's. But no. The costumes on the art of the disc have no relevance at all to what happens in the story. Ruki is really cute with the rabbit ears and tail though, so I'm not complaining lol.

On a final note, I decided to add the aforementioned Halloween art below the cut, since I figured it'd be a nice inclusion to the post ^^
