I wish there was more room in.. my room so I could emulate Just Dance and use the Kinect I already have hooked up (plus emulation would likely give me more song choices.) I’m pretty sure we have an Xbox 360 or One downstairs along with the Kinect I originally tried using, so if I can find those I can probably set them up, but if we don’t already have it I’d have to buy a physical copy because the stores closed down grrr. I love physical media but old shit is expensive as hell (yar har fiddle dee dee I don’t think my PC has a CD slot) and I’m not super concerned about preservation in this case maybe I should be since I want it so badly.

I could try Beat Saber but motion sickness… plus it’s not the same since the focus is on moving your arms rather than needing to move your full body to get full points. Like I could, but I like a game that shows me different movements to copy so I don’t just repeat the same ones.

I need to see what exists nowadays.

I’ve been craving movement games in general so hard I’ve started lucid dreaming about them.

AU in which Stan fakes his death way ahead of schedule and keeps on surviving alone until one day years later he turns on the TV in his dirty motel room and sees his 17year old self grinning back at him.

“The Stanley Pines Home & Shelter Project for Wayward Teens was founded almost 8 years ago by Filbrick Pines and the rest of the Pines family after the tragic passing of their beloved son and brother.”

WHAT THE FUCK?! What kind of scam is this? Stan would be almost impressed if he didn’t feel like throwing up.

As it turns out, while Stan completely forgot about that one time he faked his death his family built up a whole charity in his honor. They can’t get Stanley back but at least they could make sure his story wouldn’t repeat again. 

Stan's whole family is on screen talking about how great Stan was and how they failed him.

Filbrick is crying.

Sobbing about how he killed his little boy and how he never expected Stan to leave for real.

Stan throws up.

Definitely a scam. His Pa figured out a way for Stan to make them money after all. All Stan had to do was die.

[Stan vehemently ignores the voice in his head telling him that neither Ford nor Filbrick could act to save their lives. And that no amount of money would be enough to convince his Pa to cry on camera.]

So it’s a scam. And they put Stan's name on it. Which means all the money they make from his sob story belongs to him.

Robbing a charity for homeless kids isn’t even in the top 10 worst things he’s done.

to elaborate on the fnaf movie: the animatronics looked awesome. they played talking in your sleep by the romantics which rules. none of the characters were particularly gripping or well-developed but matthew lillard looked like he was having a TON of fun as william afton and who can blame him. yes i clapped and cheered when matpat said "it's just a theory". yes i clapped and cheered when afton said "i always come back". yes i clapped and cheered when they played the living tombstone's seminal masterpiece in the end credits. i had so so much fun. absolutely recommend if you just wanna see fun robot murder with cool animatronics and occasional hijinx. god i wanna see it again now

In love with the idea of captain marvel being Billy's imaginary friend. Like, it'd be so easy. Early depictions had them as almost fully separate people sometimes, like one soul with two minds, rather than just two filters like we mostly see now.

But imagine a Billy down on his luck, hurt and hiding from police and criminals alike, daydreaming the hours away as children do, taking inspiration from all the superheroes rising to fame, making little stories to play out his dreams of saving the world with a generic action doll he found while dumpster diving once. Most of the paint's rubbed off.

Red's his favourite colour, his comfiest jumper is a bright ruby even after all the grime and washes. Gold, too, it's shiny and warmer than silver! A hero cape is a must, big and eye catching! And he can fly, of course, like superman, and in his daydreams, when he's sore and frustrated after a long day's grind, his superhero is smart enough and knows all the right words to get the bullies to stop without resorting to fighting.

His superhero fantasy is one he spends a lot of time on, the first one he goes for when struggling to sleep at night, and he can picture it so clearly. Captain marvel is big and bright and kind, strong enough to lift the boxes for the old lady up the road who's moving all by himself, fast enough to catch Jamie who fell out of the tree on Saturday and broke his leg and couldn't come to class for weeks. He appears at the entrance to alleys when Billy is cornered, he steps up behind to cover for him when he gets caught shoplifting, he sits at the bus stop with him when it's pouring rain and the right bus doesn't seem to be coming.

And then the wizard comes, or rather whisks him away, and like a magician from a fairytale breathes life into his imaginary friend until Billy feels thrice his size and a million times more invincible.

From then on, captain marvel is a real hero, just like Billy is a real boy, and as one they save the whole city, and then the whole world, and get cats down from trees and help Mrs Victoria move the last of her boxes and she gives them a pinch in the cheek and cookies for the road and sometimes it hurts but it's so much better than he imagined.

It's really easy to ship rosegarden with the hurt/comfort trope because Ruby and Oscar are canonically always being hurt. All the time. Just constantly in the hurt phase. It's time for them to enter the comfort phase. Vacuo will be the start of it. V10 will be their volume. They will finally get the comfort they deserve, together. I believe.

I wanna know more about the feeling that comes with Touya's newly discovered Ice quirk honestly. Like come on, look at me in the face and tell me he would have NOT gone feral with happiness and other mixed emotions if he had developed this before he absolutely ruined himself.

I hope Enji is happy now that Touya is too his not-so perfect masterpiece. Isn't that he wanted from the very start? Congra- fucking- tulations, asshole. There, you have it. Hope it was worth losing his eldest son, his wife's sanity and other kids trauma.

Also Touya having the unstable part of Rei and the anger and jealousy of Enji. Yk, both ice and fire.. deadly combination. Shouto is the child who represents how Enji and Rei compliment each other and Touya represents all the ways how that's absolutely bullshit.

I would have told Enji to burn in hell but that seems like such a mundane punishment. I could say give him to Touya but then again, I feel like he will eventually forgive Enji if he spent enough time with his dad because at last all he wanted was for his father to love him.
