Childhood best friends are interesting cause sometimes a lot of it hinges on them being sort of the same person as they were as kids. Except people grow and change, so maybe over time Person A realized they didn’t like chocolate as much as they like strawberry, and Person B changes their preferences like the weather.
Person A grew out of their local church, and their values changed immensely. Person B is still in indecision, but knows they’re not super certain about the stories they grew up with.
Person A does not order a drink knowing what Person B likes, they ask, because they know it’s been a while. Person B jokes about Person A’s preferences, but it turns out they’ve changed.
Person A used to be incredibly indecisive and cautious, but they’ve already overcome that personal challenge. Person B was headstrong and impulsive, but went to therapy to work through the roots of that.
Each person is unrecognizable to the other, in all but the details that only exist because of their shared connection: in between their jokes, the giggles sound similar, just older, and in between long talks, their sentence pattern flows the same.
They’re still childhood best friends, and in many ways they know the person this new one is based off of, they know what challenges they braved and what core memories they formed. But as a person grows, fundamentally they must change. The love they have for each other never has to though.

so she’d use that to her advantage and maybe he would give her a week or so to try and find bonbon while dropping rlly vague hints of where he last saw him because he’s torn between genuinely wanting to find him and also wanting millie to fail so he can just kill her. he has no faith she’ll actually find him though so he’s rlly not that helpful and thinks her panic about the situation is really funny. also he’d 100% convince her that if she tried to tell her grandpa or family that the Weird Broken Robot Bear tried to kill her nobody would believe her and at MOST just shrug and tell her not to go near him
and i KNOOW i know he’s programmed to kill but with how broken he is maybe he’s a little messed up in the head and his programming is a liiiittle out of whack rn so he’s able to choose whether or not to kill millie instead of her fate being sealed the moment she’s alone w/ him
but yeah i have a fun silly idea of where bonbon might be also considering the into the pit minigame thing :) this is more than just a CTW AU tbh this is just me fucking around with the fazbear frights books and connecting multiple stories together and having fun. it’s complete bullshit i haven’t actually read any of these stories for myself, im just having fun. shrugs
