ADAINE. My god. I love this girl so much and her art is perfect. She has patches on her jacket! We can see the cool design on her shirt! She's got high-fantasy boots and belts and she's got her new arcane sword! BOGGY IS THERE! And she looks so lovely and cool and her hair, oh my god, her hair is perfect! I'm so proud of her!

And lastly, the man, the myth, the LEGEND. Fabian looks perfect. Everything from the sword to the sheet to the expression to the tap shoes is spot-on. And his outfit? He's got harem pants! He's got a stylish shirt! He's got wraps around his hands! He's doing a dance move! Man-bun Fabian is now officially canon!

(Also, I'm never gonna shut up about how the Bad Kids are now all spellcasters, and almost all of them are different than how they were in freshman year because that's how growing up works! Fig's ditched College of Whispers as she learns to be truer to herself and has claimed the coolness of College of Lore, and she's got some warlock action to be closer to her dad! Kristen's a Twilight Domain cleric instead of the Life Domain, and I remember being so excited when that became official because that domain is so freaking cool! Riz is an Arcane Trickster, just! Like! Penny! Gorgug's an artificer as well as a barbarian, which is one of my favorite classes, and it looks like he's leaning even further into it! And we can't forget Fabian double-classing as a College of Swords bard! It's so beautiful! It's amazing! Maybe we'll get Adaine doing a martial multiclass to round out the "we're doing different things!" ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE!)

Quartermaster Talli. Granted she has an unfair advantage due to looking and vibing as a fusion of my IRL girlfriend and the butch lesbian who installed my new garage door 3 years ago whom I'm still mildly obsessed with. But anyway, we'd have a really great life together. We'd be able to communicate, we'd be compatible in the bedroom, we have similar values. Wife material, Grade A - the gold standard comparison for everyone else on the list.

Isobel. We'd have our tiffs (we can both be a little catty and sensitive), but overall we'd be a pretty stable match. We'd put in the work to make it last. I feel like being a cleric counts as a "job" so I appreciate that.

Nocturne. My #1 "I can fix her" pick because I think I actually can. I appreciate a hard worker, so Nocturne having distinguished herself in her uh workplace enough to become an officer is very respectable to me. We could go to therapy together. Not a perfect match, but I think we could make it work.

Lakrissa. Would be an easy second place if she didn't read so young. She's a little immature (a little over-dedicated, a little too self-sacrificing) and so she'd have to do some growing up, but I think we could make it work.

Florrick. Even though she's my #1 beloved and by FAR the sexiest person in the entire game and I would do anything to [redacted], we'd be like two brick walls getting married. We're too similar. But sheer affection and lust propel her to the top 5 anyway, even though we'd probably be married 10 sexless years before one of us finally snapped and filed for divorce.

Skoona. Assuming she drops the whole self-deprecating thing (can't stand that). She has a job, she's sensitive, she's romantic, she's humble, and she's hot. I don't think we'd knock each others' socks off, but we'd be a nice match.

Lae'zel. Extremely 22 years old and that's an issue for me. I'm also too sensitive to make it through her tough outer shell to get to the soft waifu meat inside. However, she does have amazing wife material to uncover, so I think if I could be her second wife, we'd be golden.

Adrielle. We'd have our problems as two neurotic faux-normies, but we're neurotic in different ways, so maybe we'd complete each other? She's very conscientious and thoughtful, though, which are the most important wife traits for me. With commitment and therapy, we'd make it work, but it wouldn't be the smoothest ride.

Jaheira. I don't really want to be a step parent to young kids, so that pulls her down the list a bit, but there's no way I couldn't have her in the top 10. We'd get along great; we have the same sense of humor; we're both not clingy. A good match, but not really the wife for me.

Minthara. I want her so bad but she'd eat me alive and not in the sexy way. I would let her walk all over me for 2-3 years though, assuming she didn't dump me first. Impossible to rank below the top 10, but objectively not the wife for me.

Shadowheart. Like Lae'zel, there's a lot to get through before you get to the wife material deep inside. I would also need to be her second wife. Also, I'm not doing that cottagecore shit and I cannot have that many animals in my house.

Araj. I know I called her bad in bed 2 different ways in two other posts but that's not a problem, she's so sexy and interesting to me that I know I would fall super hard for her. I too love science? We have something in common. I feel like she'd bring out a lot in me, not necessarily good things, but to be loved is to be changed? I would probably come to my senses before really risking it all though.

Alfira. I love her so much but I am no Lakrissa, I could not handle both supporting her while she pursues her artistic goals AND having to top every time. We'd be that miserable couple that lets it drag on forever because nothing is *wrong* even though nothing is *right* and wind up hating each other.

Nine-Fingers. She'd stress me out too much. Running the streets, making enemies... what if a shake-down goes wrong? Admittedly I'm tempted to live out my mafia wife fantasies with her, but realistically, I think I'd have too many nervous breakdowns to make it worth it.

Karlach. The divorce would be so epic that I almost wanted to rank her higher, but I just know deep down that we would trigger/frustrate the fuck out of each other and completely implode long before making it to the courthouse and/or altar.

Aylin. I routinely get over-stimulated by my cats brushing against my leg when I'm trying to multi-task working and listening to music, so there is no universe in which I could tolerate being married to Aylin. She's too exuberant and touchy. I would be scream-crying WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME every time she simply asked me how my day was in her usual volume. An absolute disaster, she'd smother me despite her best intentions.

Z'rell. She can have place #17 to match the 17 husbands which I would not be okay with. I'm not jealous, but I'm not THAT not jealous. She's also just really harsh and I'm a crier, so we probably would not be able to have a conversation, let alone a relationship.

Roah Moonglow. Like Nine-Fingers, but I feel like the Zhent is like, a second-rate criminal organization and so it'd be like being a second-rate mafia wife. All the stress, fewer fist-sized emerald necklaces.

Mizora. On top of everything else, she's also a corporate LAWYER... yuck

Philomeen. I would go on 1 date with Philomeen, let her start a blowup fight with me outside of [regional burrito chain], let her neg me into fucking anyway, go no contact, and let her booty call me 2 years later at 3AM like nothing happened, but I would not even slightly consider dating her, let alone marrying her.

Orin. Ignoring the whole serial killer thing that's neither here nor there, the problem is the combo of overbearing family (my #1 dealbreaker of all time) and lack of communication skills (my #2 dealbreaker of all time). Like I'd be constantly trying to get her to go no contact with Serevok and she'd never listen and she'd always be talking in fucking Dr Seuss riddles and disappearing and pissing me off.

I have a couple, they are all constantly being developed

Kainan "Varg" Stanko, a half orc (half something else) barbarian who was raised in poverty and by gangs of bandits. He starts adventuring so he can afford to make a better life for himself. He's chaotic neutral, and covered from head to toe in scars- each one with their own story. I've been working on him the longest (8 page backstory blorbo).

Bramble Beetlewing, a fairy cleric who loves to party. He's and extremely feminine guy with bright pink wings and braided hair. A total hippy stoner who just wants to be gay and do arson.

Quin the bigender human paladin (he/she/they) with long as fuck dreads and a heart of gold. Also autism.

Deale, a butch lesbian albino dragon born who uses sie/ser/sern pronouns. Raised as a knight sie was assigned to a beautiful princess who sie fell in love with. After a very tragic event they were separated from each other, and now Deale has dedicated ser life to protecting others. Oh and sie has a prosthetic leg that I can never draw right.

Leandre Celeste, a high elf non-binary gay boy rogue. Cut off from their family's vast fortune, Leandre has to find a way to provide for themself out on the real world. Which is hard because they've never done a hard day's work in their life, so they mostly rely on stealing and swindling from others to get by.

I've also been working on DnD campaigns I want to DM. And I've even started developing my own ttrpgs, a monster of the week esque one and a star trek ish space opera saga, that I've had a lot of fun with! I love creating stories and choose your own adventure type things.

Ondrine Rivani - "Merchant", 35, She/her

A pirate captain whose ship is destroyed and is desperate to reform her crew. After getting a new ship, she travels the high seas in search of gold, good times, and the greatest treasure of all, henchmen friends! Manages to fool people into think she's a merchant ship despite having no documentation and piss poor lying skills and has to keep up to ruse lest she get thrown in jail. She just here for a good time lol

Themis - Thief, 24, They/Them

An archetypical gentleman thief but it's fun and novel because they're a dapper butch lesbian. Also you know how the "magical device/knowledge that corrupts/is secretly evil" trope is usually given to scholars or mages or whatever? Yeah well that's ALSO fun and novel now because Themis is searching for a bracelet said to bring back the dead after they lost their younger sister and this plan to bring back the dead TOTALLY isn't going to go colossally wrong.

Priam (Real name: Parsifal Pellerius because he's fancy) - Hunter, 32, He/Him

So rarely do I create a male oc that I like as much as Priam.

Not that's there's anything special about him though.... he's just some guy who leads a hunting party in the woods around the outskirts of cities to make sure nothing bad gets near them. Just a guy who loves his wife a whole lot and wants to keep people safe and is just a genuinely nice guy, just like...incorruptibly good and noble and purehearted. Definitely not a secret noble who ran away from that life because he felt trapped by it but now spends his waking hours wondering if he can help people more as the dashing folk hero Priam or the noble Lord Pellerius. Who's Pellerius? Definitely not the birth family Priam is considering turning back to THAT'S for sure haha.

Helena Drouit - Scholar, 42, She/They

She was a well respected philosopher before she released a treatises that proved to be too controversial for the conservative institute she worked at. After she finds her work being censored and herself being exiled from the academic community, she sets out on a journey to challenge those who would suppress knowledge and find like minded people to share her work with.

The Warrior is a female Sanctum Knight whose town (and by proxy, cathedral) suffers a great tragedy and after seeing such an event has a crisis of faith. But the Reverend Mother (idk if that's the right term...there's so many fantasy church systems I get titles mixed up) left her final orders to her most trusted knight, sending her only a journey that she prays restores her faith in her gods and her church.

The apothecary is a midwife in the worst part of the city, currently facing an influence of immigrants fleeing conflict in other parts of the country. With more and more people flocking to her clinic each day, the city guard is getting closer and closer to discovering her practice, dangerous for both her and the other migrants. Believing she could appeal to the lord of the region to keep her clinic open despite her lack of licensure, she sets out, but quickly realizes that there's more reasons than she suspected for the incessant attacks on Lowtown.

The cleric is an assassin seeking refuge in the church who finds himself loving his new life as a church member. After spending many years in the tranquility of the church, he finds himself called to go help others around the continent, however when he leaves the seclusion of the church, he finds his past catching back up with him but he's determined to lay it to rest once and for all...hopefully.

and...idk about the dancer tbh. All I know if that he's gay and flaming lol. I want to make him a courtesan but I'm worried that's too similar to Prim.

And blah blah their stories are connected through themes of belonging and community and the tragedy of loosing faith the things/people we belief in etc.... ALSO I JUST REALIZED HOW LONG THIS IS SORRY FOR CLOGGING YOUR ASK BOX BYE

Anywho yeah Hebe, a young student who's stubborn as fuck. Her mother was a researcher who gave her a random key necklace, said "I'll show you what this unlocks when you're older", and then got murdered 2 days later. Her father insisted on sending her to a school across the continent (somewhat against her wishes), and years later she decided Welp I've learned everything I can for now, it's about time I learned what this key is for. So she goes on a journey for answers to A) what her mother was researching B) why she was killed and C) what the key is for (haha these totally aren't all related haha)

so I’m finally listening to critical role campaign 2. I’ve picked up a decent amount via osmosis from all the dnd blogs I follow but I’m chronically behind in my media consumption

Things I knew going in:

• Beau is the cool butch gal that all the lesbians love

• Caleb is a poor little meow meow with trauma and a cat (I’ve seen him shipped with a couple of people but mainly some drow dude)

• Molly is the charismatic dandy that dies and is replaced by a pink guy

• The black and white gal (yasha) has the best fanart and I think her wife is dead? Idk I saw a beautiful comic of it tho

My thoughts so far (as of episode 9 NEIN):

• THE NAME CAME FROM THEM ROLLING 9s AND MAKING BAD JOKES ABOUT IT?!? SERIOUSLY?!?

• Beau is so awkward lmao y’all made me think she was suave

• Holy shit I LOVE JESTER! Being a cleric to a trickster god is so big brained omg she’s the love of my life. Every time she does something I’m just like fuck yeah! You go you funky little prankster

• I was not expecting fjord and Molly to be the brain cells in this group. They’re also the only ones with social skills (jester has social skills, she just chooses not to use them. Which honestly good for her)

• Fjord and Beau’s friendship is top tier. Ultimate bros

• Beau and Caleb are also great because all of their interaction read like the dumb jock tentatively poking the local nerd with a stick going “hey hey what’s your trauma?” While the nerd hisses like a wet cat

• The fact that none of them trust each other for shit is so funny. I’ve never seen players roll so many insight checks against each other, it’s great

• I think jester Molly and nott should be left alone together, for science

• As someone who is a disappointment to my old German teacher, Liam is an inspiration

Oh this is gonna be a long one lol. Thank you for asking me this one I get to go a little wild!

I miss Romy too!!! She's one of my favorite characters I've ever made ahh she's so cool. I've thought about trying to write an original story, but it would involve a lot of detangling from the teen wolf canon which I haven't bothered to do yet lol. But I did play as her in a d&d urban fantasy oneshot!

For the uninitiated Romy is my punk rock butch lesbian werewolf hunter who was lowkey raised in a cult to hunt werewolves. she's got trauma and charm and no respect for authority. She has a propensity to adopt miserable bisexual men and is quite good at it, but everything she does is indeed, for the ladies <3

I have a pinterest board for her because she is everything I want to be.

My other major OC is my d&d character Row who I love so so much. They're a half-orc ranger/barbarian who was raised by frogs in the swamp. They are so big and strong and don't know what a society is <3 Their defining moral principle is "if it can beg for its life it is no longer meat" and that is their only moral quandary on what they can kill and eat. Everything is food until it starts begging. This doesn't change, but in general after some character development they're a bit less isolated, they're happily "married" to an anxious elf cleric whose god is justice (something Row doesn't really believe in) and a father of one. They do believe in protecting their pack above all else <3. And all their frog family is dead. so. they've been abandoned since they were like 12 until they got some found family who they would do anything for! They're a strange creature, a bit wild, good at making soup and carrying people and killing things with almost joyful abandon. They were fearless for the first 23 years of their life until they realized there are some things they cannot escape into the swamp to get away from. Like alternate dimensions. They've recently learned what "guilt" is, and worse it was for something they had no control over. Like their husband getting stabbed in their place

I also have a pinterest board for them too because some things about them I cannot describe. It's a vibe.

Aaaand one more bigger oc I have is a miserable little man.

His name is Ritz (short for "the beast of many rituals" which is his stage name) who is a fake medium/conman. He's in his 40s. He's single and hating it. And also a whore. He's got two ex wives and mixed success on reconciling with them and 4 daughters that he loves more than life itself. He's a failure in every way except fatherhood. At the very least he tries his best. He sleeps on his best friend's couch even though technically he's homeless. He does not realize he is madly in love with that best friend and his best friend doesn't realize either! He drinks too much on week nights (because weekends are for the girls!) He's in debt to some bad people, but he keeps that stuff as far away from his daughters as possible, taking more and more dangerous jobs to try and wipe that record clean. The majority of the world doesn't respect him and worse for the most part they're right to. He's a liar and a cheat (but never on his wives! he was an absent figure because he doesn't know how to settle down and that is what wrecked his marriages broadly speaking) who gets into trouble with his big mouth and sneaky hands. The crux of his character arc is incited by him working a job at an actual haunted house and finding out he's actually a medium. That leads to many mental crises. Alas. One day hopefully he'll be proud of himself the way his daughters are and he'll kiss his best friend on the mouth (sober!). I could write a novel about this silly little man. maybe one day.

my most recent hyperfixation in regards to the flooded lands project is the painted masks, which is just this like, absolutely bonkers caravan that travels up and down ekatan. the woman who runs it is a butch lesbian catgirl and they offer literally every service imaginable. someone you want killed? they've got assassins! entertainment? stop by the fire and listen to the professionally trained bards! need healing? right this way, we have clerics and priests from all walks of faith!

like the head lady pays SUPER WELL. absurdly well. and like, within this caravan there's a little subset of friends, there's like six of them. one of them is an ancient vampire lord who is sticking around bc their friends are nice and let them drink. there's this pair of siblings, a rough-and-tumble assassin and a prettyboy merchant (who dug the vampire up and out of a swamp), who talk shit about everyone except their friends. there's a poet and a bard who thinks no one knows she's the runaway princess of ekatan but everyone knows. there's a doctor who'll get a nosebleed if you say his shirt looks good today (he's in love with the assassin. they're literally dating. he will not believe her when she says they're dating). there's a soldier with ptsd after lying about his age to join a failed revolution and bearing witness to the bloodiest battle within the last 30 years (he's secretly seeing the prettyboy merchant but he's all ~tortured~ and ~emo~ about it. also, he was dead for a good hour, but it's okay he got better.)

So I am a semi-new DM

And we started playing Curse of Strahd today. Noted, it was the first time I have ever run a module. I usually run homebrew oneshots and mini-campaigns, but I have to say I am already incredibly excited for this. 

My party is a band of three humans (a wizard, a druid, and a cleric), a hill dwarf druid, and a lizard folk monk fighter multiclass. And, they all chose to make their characters LGBTQ men. Not a single straight guy, or female in the bunch. 

First session in and I have already given the ex-dictator lizard four bottles of free wine, the greasy wizard has two new books of spells and a sticky black cursed orb, the dwarf nearly had a panic attack several times but came out of Lady Morwen’s house with several books on elves, oh and my lovely cleric has a bag full of jewels. That...they rolled incredibly low insight on what it is made of. He thinks it’s gold. 

Lady Morwen’s head of security, a butch lesbian NPC  my party immediately fell in love with took them to the Vistani encampment that was just outside Daggerford. BIOGRAPHY

Anne is the oldest surviving child of Rebecca Battle and Jeremy Lister. Born in Market Weighton on the 3rd of April in 1791, Anne received a clerical education from a private tutor & reverend. Her exploration of her lesbian tendencies began after the year 1804, when she met her first love at Manor House School in York. To absolutely no one’s surprise, Anne was kicked out of boarding school for her lesbian relationship. She had soon enough begun to make rather a name for herself as an untameable young woman determined to seduce her female companions and break traditional gender roles (and quite a few hearts along the way). Since the academical world was denied to her, she continuously sought out private lessons from leading scientists and teachers. In her adult years, she received a one-on-one education in anatomy and palaeontology on behalf of Georges Cuvier in Paris. 

Anne quickly cultivated a passion for – well, not only lesbianism, but also classical literature, mountaineering, science, and travelling. After her uncle’s death, she inherited his estate, Shibden Hall, though she had been acting as the head of the family for some time, running the coal business and organising the tenancy. She accumulated a fair amount of wealth over the years and has no qualms spending it on her extravagant lifestyle - but can she afford what her heart desires most - a wife? We shall see …

ANNE AND RELATIONSHIPS

Frankly speaking, Anne LOVES to flirt - a bit of good-natured, harmless flirtation is one of her favourite pastimes, regardless of her current relationship status. When she’s not committed to another woman, she’s quite ready to take things further & far beyond a mere exchange of charm. Anne is very confident in her sexuality and wastes no time obsessing over the 19th century morality of her conquests.  She loves women, she loves being around them, she loves looking at them and courting them, and she loves being intimate with them behind closed doors.

The Most Extra™️ tiefling who does freaking blood magic and is technically two years old. Even though he is constantly lying and making questionable decisions he still manages to be one of the most compassionate and generous in the group.

Aasimar barbarian who loves flowers. She needs alone time often, but she always finds her way back. So awkward but so sweet, I love her.

Goblin rogue is best girl. She may be a kleptomaniac, an alcoholic, and terrified of water but she is the mama bear and she will fuck you up. Wears part of a porcelain doll as a mask to avoid racist people. My absolute favorite.

Sad wizard man with an unbearably painful backstory, who still manages to make friends and have a super dry sense of humor. Always broke, dirty, and petting his cat. Will locate a book even if it is buried under fifty feet of rubble.

RAY OF SUNSHINE, LIGHT OF MY LIFE. Tiefling cleric of a trickster god no one has heard of that spreads the good word by defacing other gods’ temples, pulling pranks, and drawing in her notebook. Her spiritual weapon is a giant lollipop.
