He/She Nat, Tfem Lottie !! it's only briefly implied but most of my writing for these two will be like this :o)

Lottie and Nat are both very fond of Mama & Papa respectively... Any varient is probably okay with them!!

Lottie is very gentle. She will take care of littles her and Nat share more often than not. She prefers older littles but doesn't have an issue with taking care of regressors that are around infant to toddler age.

Nat is a bit more rowdy!! He likes to play with his littles, roughhousing if they're big enough... He's softer on the younger ones, always fussing over them and then denying it later. She has no preference and enjoys time with either.

When Lottie and Nat care together, they sometimes have little arguments... They'll see your little pout or you getting teary and immediately apologize to each other and their little one. The two are big on group cuddles!!

A day out might be hanging out by ponds, going out shopping [in which Lottie does not steal, can't teach you bad habits, after all...], visiting the other Yellowjackets or walking around parks! Sometimes Lottie will put together a basket for a picnic, or Nat will bring a soccer ball and teach you. Sometimes, if Lottie is appropriately dressed, she joins in, too.

Lottie and Nat often pack very different bags for you, especially if they're going to be out all day! Lottie will pack neutral colored stuffies, books, and intellectual toys! Her favorites are Lego sets, she loves assembling them with her littles. ^^ She's very careful to make sure all the pieces are there, though Nat likes to hide a few pieces just to mess with her, sometimes getting you in on it as well.

Nat, on the other hand, enjoys packing fun toys, whatever you set your eyes on for the day. He's partial to Nerf guns, things related to your interests [space, dinos, animals, dolls, action figures, etc. ], and Hot Wheels. She absolutely loves talking about your toys with you!! He'll remember names, what type of animal/dino, the names of each character for action figures, and if you have dolls, she'll make note of their name on the box and whatever you name them yourself!

They both like to dress you up!! When Lottie gets her hands on you, she dresses you very gender neutral unless requested otherwise — usually in clothing matching her own in pattern/color. She loves buying you pjs... when she gets pink or any color you would deem "too cool" for Nat, she goes out of her way to get matching sets for the three of you. It gets a good chuckle out of you and a very embarrassed look from Nat, which Lottie revels in.

Nat, however, dresses you like a mini-Nat. He dresses you very punk/grunge, little accessories to help you still feel small. She lovess dragging you around, "There's my lil guy!" He'll say, eyes twinkling when he draws back to see you all dressed up, outfit adjacent to hers. It brings both of you great joy when others coo at the matching leather jackets ^^.

If the two are caring for you together, you might end up with an amalgamation of an outfit between the two, or something you pick out entirely yourself. Nat tries to get you to sport your leather when it's cold out, and Lottie has to convince you to wear clothes that aren't your pjs a lot more often than she'd care to.

Nat loves having you sit and listen to music with him. She has different Boom Boxes and Walkman's, along with different mixtapes to look at. When Lottie isn't around, you get to listen to songs with swears as long as you don't repeat them!! Cool papa...

He has more than a few CDs and cassettes with music for kids, music Lottie likes, and even your own music taste when you're a bit bigger, carefully picked collections for when you're little around him. She often plays Lottie mixes when she's not around and you're missing her. When Nat is up for it, he sings to you or maybe even breaks out that guitar he has sitting at the end of her room, hardly touched yet still perfectly tuned.

Lottie, on the other hand, is the queen of tea parties!! She enjoys sitting with you, talking with you and your favorite toys, and sharing tea and snacks the two of you prep for the occasion. It's not something she had the chance to do as a kid, so she revels in it just as much as you do. She really loves baking with you and assembling little sandwiches, buying those little sandwich cutouts for you to use and having you shape the cookies!! On special occasions she makes a bunch of frosting so you guys can decorate sugar cookies, too :o).

For their trans littles, they make sure to keep a schedule of when you take your hrt!! For Testosterone, Nat usually does it unless its injections, which Lottie will usually administer. Nat enjoys putting the patches on you, along with gel!! He makes sure to put it directly on your skin if its gel, rubbing gently but still making sure to spread it evenly and effectively before getting you dressed for the day. She loves picking out new features, maybe its more hair growth, or your hips looking narrower, maybe he just wants to make you feel good and compliment your voice, whatever it is, she loves to see you light up at the mention!

Lottie does injections of any kind, whether thats Testosterone, Estrogen or something else! She always has a bandage with your favorite character ready for when you're done, telling you how brave you are and wiping away any stray tears that might have come out. She also makes sure you take your Estrogen in other forms, if you're taking it. She shows you how she takes her hrt first, should you be scared of the injections. She explains best she can, telling you it will be okay before being as gentle as possible with you.

Some extra stuff for trans littles — Nat will help with putting on trans tape on tmasc!littles!! He loves the stuff, using it himself, and is very careful to show you the utmost care in your most vunerable when it comes to chest dysphoria. She tells you how good you're being as you're still, tape laid down as best as possible to cause the least amount of irritation to your skin. If you can't wear trans tape, like the following days after taking it off, him and Lottie are both very attentive to when you're binding. They'll convince you to take breaks if you're being stubborn, and even you don't know how they worm you out of it...

Lottie and Nat put together funds for your surgeries and especially is there as soon as you're out. Making you soup, making sure you drink water, checking drains, checking your stitches/bruises/scabs, and anything else they could possibly do. They'll draw away from their responsibilities just to take care of you, not wanting to step away for even a moment of something as important as this. Lottie often buys you whatever you want, too. You want that big stuffy you saw in the window on the way home? It's yours! You saw a cool ad for a new toy? Check your room within the next few days and you may see something new in the corner, waiting for when you're better. Nat is partial to buying more comforting items, different sweaters, blankets, even heating pads if you need them. If you're having a particularly hard time he might pick up a fidget toy, chewlery, a new paci or a new video game you might've had your eye on. Lottie isn't thrilled, but neither of them have the heart to cap your screen time after a surgery, only stopping you to sleep at night.

At first when I started getting into Eddsworld again, I struggled to come up with a definitive design for Matt, so I mainly experimented how he’d look in a bunch of different outfits, and I played around with how he’d present himself. I started off just presenting him masc, but over time, I started kinda embracing how differently he’d present, and he tends to fluctuate from fem, masc, to androgynous, and often somewhere in the middle. This idea started to develop in my art and even through the roleplays I do as him too!

I thought it would’ve been a really cool way to explore representing genderfluid characters and experiment writing characters with different backgrounds. And of course, since my experience is different, if I ever eff up the representation, feel free to always let me know guys HAGSHA I’m always open to tips for improving my writing and art. :-)

I like to think his experience with gender during high school took a while for him to fully feel comfortable with it. He never saw himself as strictly male. He’s comfortable being called he/him, but there were times where, yeah, that always fluctuated. Times in high school prom where he’d wear a suit, and whenever he’d see others wear dresses, he always wondered how he’d look in them, sometimes gender envy in a way. At one point when he was calling Edd, he even considered going by a different name.

Matt today still occasionally gets called “Coral”, since her hair color reminds the others of coral. :-] She uses Matt more, but whenever she hears Coral from time to time, she smiles a big BIG grin and gets really jumpy and excited.

Over time, Matt started experimenting with her gender expression. She tried on a dress that she borrowed from her mum one night.

Matt: “Hey, mum.”

Amelia: “Huh? What is it?”

Matt: “Can I borrow a dress real quick?”

Amelia: “…??? Are you going out or something, hun?”

Matt: “………………”

Amelia: “HAHA! I mean, sure, you can, but why? I thought you hated dresses.”

Matt: “It’s just gonna be for a few minutes.”

Amelia: “OKAYY! Well make sure you put it back in my closet!” (In her mind: “Well, that’s odd! Oh well!”)

And that’s where this drawing came to be!

Nothing but absolute euphoria.

Matt never really saw himself as entirely JUST a girl. He liked the idea of wearing feminine stuff, dresses and skirts, putting on makeup, and wearing nail polish, but he was also comfortable being a dude! Maybe growing out his hair to have it dyed and slightly curled would be nice, some hoop earrings, eyeliner, and a stubble. I am totally not foreshadowing.

Over time, past high school, into college, and afterwards to the present, Matt recognized there really wasn’t any boundary or restriction holding him back from how he wanted to dress up or present himself, and we get Matt today! Over time he grew even more comfortable presenting more fem, but absolutely fuckin loves looking masc or fem or ANYTHING EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN! She basically doesn’t really mind at all what she’s called. Whenever people ask Matt what her gender is, he usually replies “Me? Oh, I’m Matt!”

She’s grown super passionate about fashion and makeup, and loves picking out outfits for her hubbies. I’d say out of all the crew, I draw Matt with the most different outfits all the time. I rarely really draw her with her hoodie LMFAOOO

If Raya, Asha, Snow White, Elena, Sofia and Mirabel were to get dolls, then what would you speculate their molds, outfits, accessories, etc. to be?

Also, I kinda wish the Moana doll was her own actual character in the line rather than just a collaboration. She’s gorgeous

Rapunzel had a limited edition doll that got softened down to a Playline, they just removed a few extra frills and sold her braid kit separately. So I don't doubt we'll get a less-expensive Moana eventually.

As for the others... Raya would probably need a new face mold since AG still doesn't have any SEAsian characters. Probably the closest is Jess? She'd probably have her base outfit with the cape, hat and necklace as accessories. If we were in the glory days of AG with a shitton of accessories, we'd also get a doll version of this toy set. (Her bag, Dragon Gem, bracelet, money pieces, map.) I don't know if they'd do the sword bc it would be hard to get into the doll's hands, but maybe they'd pull a Tenney and make her hands different so she could grip it? The sword fucks severely so I hope they would. Only alt outfit we've seen for her has been her childhood outfit but they don't sell any alt outfits for Rapunzel either (despite her having a good amount in the TV series...) We'd probably also get a little TukTuk toy as well, but it'd be cheap plastic.

Asha would literally be so cute as a doll and I'm crying screaming throwing up begging AG. I think she'd work best with a Makena mold, though maybe with a bit more pointed eyes? The freckles would be sooooo cute. And her accessories would be the wand, a plastic Star, and her little sketchbook! Maybe a little toy version of the Wish orb. And ofc a little goat toy you can buy separately. I can't think of much else... a set with her tree might be cool but she doesn't really have much in the way of accessories other than that.

Snow White HAS to have the Classic Mold. It's required. Hair that's short but's got volume. She'd have her cute classic dress for her Meet and a decorative version of her servant dress as a bonus, like Cinderella. (BTW, I would totally get the Cinderella doll if she came in the casual outfit, she looks so damn cute in it!!) Obviously they'd put an apple in her accessories as if it didn't almost kill her ahsjkdg, but also a toy bird, bouquet of flowers, cooking materials, etc. A toy wishing well that both her and Asha model beside would be REALLY cute actually– maybe have Disney characters etched onto the stone? But most importantly I want her here in existence and in my arms

Elena would actually really fit the Josefina mold, but I can also see them using Marie-Grace. Dude, they should give her hair that's almost as long as Rapunzel so that her ponytail turns out as big and poofy as it can be! The normal adventure dress is her Meet, but she has so many iconic outfits that could make bonus costumes. Her coronation dresses, of course, would probably be the first up, but I also love her adventure tunic + pants and Dia de los Muertos dress. ACTUALLY, having just different versions of her Meet Dress but in different colors so kids can play "feelings-kaleidoscope" would be really funny. Her big hoop earrings come with the Meet, but her bracelet and flowers are in the accessories, along with her scepter.

Sofia... she could definitely also fit Josefina, but I feel like AG would use a Nanea to give her those big eyes. I feel like they'd use her S3 design because it has longer hair (and more hair = more hairstyles to try out = longer playtime) but her S1 dress is so iconic? They'd probably do the S3 design as the Meet with the purple dress + purple amulet as a bonus. Obviously her amulet is an accessory, along with her tiara, rabbit, and bag. Maybe an enchanted book as well? A hand-sized portrait of her family would be really cute too! As for alt outfits, she has a shitton but I'd love to see the mermaid outfit so she and Ariel can hang out.

And Mirabel? I WANT SO BAD. Joss mold is most likely but I'd like them to make the nose a bit wider. Maaaaybe a mix with the Corinne mold? Her cute little green glasses, and OOOOH can you imagine how detailed her embroidered outfit would be? Would be HELL to make but hhhh it would be so cuuuuuute. This episode, with all its converging timelines, really shows how data grows- not just as a character just in general, as the years go by on the ship, he starts understanding idioms, somewhat. He. He gets more human. He really does. His movements more fluid, hes smarter. He really does grow, something about his neural net constantly evolving or something. Oh my god.

The shitty future?? Worf liking Deanna Romantically Cannon??? Riker was still holding on to the relationship this whole time?? (I never noticed really. Im. Autistic.) PICARD AND CRUSHER GOT MARRIED. And then divorced BUT STILL. Picard back on earth?? Tending to what i can only assume to be grape plants or something, like his brother. Data teaches at Cambridge. Downton Abbey Fashion 63 - festive occasions in 1924

The only notable festive occasion this season is Rose’s wedding, although that is split into the courthouse wedding and the blessing plus reception. There are several outfit repeats in play there, so only a few characters really get two new outfits to speak of. Heck, Violet doesn’t get any new at all. But speaking of weddings – let’s flashback to Mary’s fashion show for a hot second!

Because, with several of the show’s outfits landing in Mary’s possession, including her outfit for Rose’s wedding, I was almost surprised that the wedding dress they presented didn’t get its big moment later on. Perhaps it was too boring? Because this is very traditionally, typically 1920s. Shapeless, without any showy elements to the cut, relying on drop waist and front embroidery, the veil worn in a way that closely framed the face, covering most of the forehead. The headpiece is a little quirkier though; wish they’d done more with this design element.

Isobel picked a white outfit just so I can bitch, I guess. Okay, the shirt is cream rather than white, and it’s got some flowers on top, but the jacket is just white crepe. Boring, but Isobel does put a nice hat on it, with the ribbon having some golden trim and even a white peacock feather in it.

Over to Susan. Well, her reception outfit is a tad better than the suit she wore for the wedding ceremony, in that it isn’t ludicrously big on her, but that’s pretty much where its upsides end. What is that color? Dirty gold? Bleached green? It’s got a little golden lace trim and a nice enough hat, but I’m both on a character level and on a fashion level quite happy to have seen the last of her.

I don’t remember what Cora wore for the wedding ceremony – was it the blue coat with the diagonal draping? If so, her reception dress is kinda meh by comparison. It’s this little beige number which has a little gathering done to it. So far, so nice. I’m not opposed to the black-and-white flower motif either. It’s just that, when I look at this, I think this neckline could’ve done better, this hat could’ve done better, this half-circle cutout above the drop waist isn’t super flattering. How about a more colorful necklace?

Lady Sinderby shows up to her son’s wedding in a dress that couldn’t be plainer regarding cut and completely black under layer. And then the upper layer is just. Lace. Lace cuffs? Absolutely. Lace neckline frame? Make it a whole triangle thing. Lace hem? Not enough; we need more lace. Looping around one side and then making its way up the front on the other, it does end up a little asymmetrical for fashion purposes, but these lace designs are very traditional. They have never even touched 1920s art movements. Top it off with a beige straw hat and a handful of black tulle, and off we go.

For the reception, Lady Sinderby is back in her comfort zone – flower-printed chiffon. I won’t complain; the golden-pink color scheme pairs well with the black, and then the pale pink flowers on her hat pick up the theme. This doesn’t catch my interest as the previous lace design did, but it is a well-composed ensemble.

Mary in a bowtie! This is not an exercise; I repeat: Mary in a bowtie! She doesn’t care for color in her look for the wedding, but the tomboy vibes are back. What a difference a wing collar and a bowtie make – the second picture where she wears the same suit to a typical low-cut women’s shirt doesn’t play at this look at all. Love the big folded lapels, even though the overall impression is a bit grey. I still wish she’d have the back of her hairdo evened out.

She strolls up in slightly more girly silver-champagne silk satin for the reception. I can respect that, even though that blue embroidered square looks a tad disconnected as an element of interest because the other points of blue trim are notably zigzag. I’m wondering if this stuff comes, if not in a set with a hat, then with a hatband, because that seems to be the exact same material, and the shade of the flower is a match, too.

A simple silver dress for Edith’s reception outfit because they don’t zoom in on her during the wedding ceremony, but I have half a mind that she’s wearing Mithril mesh. I hope this is not as scratchy as it looks, but then it’s just the outer layer. The weave of the mesh has a subtle check pattern to it, and Edith has gotten a matching hatband to make the in and of itself simple hat match this outfit. The little feathers, the pleated bow and the jewel ornament are giving it quite a glow-up. And then she wears earrings matching her necklace; this is a very pretty composition. I seem to like fully white / off-white outfits a great deal better on Edith than on Cora.

The star of the day strolls up to the wedding ceremony in a pale blue ensemble that I read somewhere was designed entirely around this lace collar, an original with painted flowers on it. They had this to begin with, and then they added more lace to the cuffs of the jacket and the neckline and drop waist of the dress. Also, the dress and jacket themselves have some pretty sweet design elements – why is this huge box pleat in the back? Why are the skirt gores? I don’t know, but I love to look at this. And then the lace hat tops it all off and gives Rose a little bit of a halo which is funny imagery when she’s decidedly not having a church wedding because she’s marrying a Jewish man.

And now for her blessing / reception gown. Possibly the most gorgeous wedding dress on the entire show, definitely the most gorgeous so far, Lily James was stuffed into a 100-year-old original in pristine condition. Admittedly, the fact that it’s from 1918 and not from 1924 shows somewhat in this being designed as a nod to regency fashions. So far into the 1920s, there’s no way you would have gotten around a drop waist. But who wants to complain about this being dated when it serves to make her look so elegant? Rose is surrounded by soft cream chiffon and all these flowers of pale golden sequins, and I’m honestly so in love with how she styled her hair to match this. The roses, the whole flowy silhouette; this is peak.

This is, imo, the single best retelling of Cinderella out there. She has a great character, her relationship with the prince grows organically rather than happening in a single night, and the scene with the bandits is top tier

The story is told as a historical romance instead of anything supernatural happening. Drew Barrymore is a cute Cinderella, Anjelica Houston is an incredible stepmother, and she's also really nasty to one of the stepsisters too, who ends up taking Danielle (Cinderella)'s side. Also Leonardo da Vinci is hanging around painting a portrait of Danielle at one point.

The Drew Barrymore Cinderella is fantastic. It’s got real history mixed with beautiful whimsy! I absolutely love the butterfly wings and how she spoke up for her step mother and sister at the end (and that they were still punished). I feel like I need to go watch it now.

I don't know how it's faring in modern day Czechia, but here in Germany, Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel is still THE (non-Disney) Cinderella adaptation and a yearly rewatch for many, despite literally turning fifty this year. It's just so fairytale and also just... good? And she hangs out in the woods and shoots with a crossbow and saves deer and gives the prince riddles and then the music aaa the music!! I guess this isn't just a submission of this version of the character but this version of the story. For those who don't know: This adaptation is based on a Czech author's retelling of the Grimm version of the story, the film was a co-production of Czechoslovakia and East Germany and it slaps so hard it gets played at least 10 times (usually more) on public german television in and around December every single year. This is not an exaggeration, you can look it up, they even make a special, official info graphic with all the air dates every year that people can (and do!) share on social media. In Germany, the main event of Christmas is the 24th, Christmas eve, and on that day they play it at least 4 times (often more) at different times of the day on different public channels (ALL of which any German with a hooked up tv has access to) so anyone who wants to watch it gets a chance to. And Aschenbrödel herself in the movie STILL holds up as a (within reasonable expectations) feminist character, she's skilled, she's smart, she's witty, she and the prince actually talk and they like each other for their personalities, like... yes, there's a couple of flaws with the movie that time has pointed out, but mostly small, background things or things you simply cannot expect a movie from 1973 to get right. It's SO well made and just plain charming, it has truly stood the test of time and I would be devastated if it weren't included. It's also my mum's favourite movie (she's from East Germany and was born in 1969 so she's had regular access to it basically all her conscious life) so we would actually usually watch it multiple times each year and even record it (first on VHS, later again on DVD) so we could rewatch it any time and yet, I literally never got tired of it. It's just good & magical & I love it. Even my brother, who usually didn't care for fairytale movies at all and would much rather play video games in his room, would come down and sit with us to watch this one, THAT'S how good and magical this movie is.

I wrote quite a bit so... putting it under a cut LOL.

LISTEN Yuri is very queer imo and I love it. One of my favorite things about him is that he uses male pronouns and a male manner of speaking, but physically and personality wise, a lot of aspects about him are feminine and he's a lot more lowkey masculine compared to other males in his game. Most of his official artwork, especially for gachas (Asteria in particular), lean toward standard feminine posing or hairstyles. I love that he encompasses feminine and masculine traits and isn't purely one or the other. I could just as easily say he's one of the guys as I could say he's one of the girls (don't even get me started on ideas I've had of him in Rays with all the other girls). He's just... Yuri.

(For physically feminine things, I consider the way he sleeps to be kinda feminine, and a good chunk of his official artwork is rather feminine as I've mentioned. The positioning of his hands/fingers and sometimes legs (both in game and in official artwork) is also comparatively feminine to the other men, and when compared to the women. Basically just like, you know how there are ways guys are often drawn, but with girls, they usually have their fingers together and they're like... positioned in less masculine ways? Same with legs and general posing? It's hard for me to explain without pulling up image examples to specify on the dot, but a lot of Yuri's official artwork is either in the middle or leaning feminine. And sometimes it's not! He's not ever very masculine, but he's not always feminine, either. For me he feels more centered, leaning feminine. Also, his character design notes mention they purposely made him slender.)

I'd love to hear your thoughts on his outfits, because while I see some of them as a little more on the feminine side, I see most of them as more neutral. For me it's largely his hairstyles and the framing of his hair with his face.

Also, there's even that Asteria alt outfit he has that I know you like with the mask, which is actually a hannya mask. There are a few very minorly different but similar ways I've seen it described overall as far as the lore behind it (likely because there are white, red and deep red versions, and some seem to describe them as used for "elegant" women while others don't use that exact term. Little stuff like that), but it basically boils down to a female demon who has become possessed because of her obsession or jealousy. It also represents being sorrowful and tormented, as well as demonic and dangerous (meant to represent complex emotions). Yuri's is a red mask, so it references being less refined (the darker red is true demons, while white is for a refined character). Which, I'd agree, yeah, Yuri's not very refined LOL! But the general idea of it is a jealous woman with demon lore (and he does have that demon outfit in Vesperia for that play, so both of those reference Yuri in a demon role, though the hannya mask is a female thing), and... idk, I didn't make the artwork, but I do know they made the conscious decision to include that in making an alt for Yuri lol.

That's not to say I know for definite that Bamco is trying to say he's feminine and queer (and god knows most official non-indie companies are too afraid to admit it even if they did), but they do draw him in standard female posing a lot (I'd even argue his second TF24 and his Dress Up Collection poses are the "go to female poses". My tier list doesn't have Yuri's legs on the TF24 one, but the hair, legs and fingers definitely give me that vibe). Like, I get it, it's Bamco; they're probably never going to purposely create or admit to purposely creating a male character who is intentionally feminine and overall queer. I would like to be proven wrong someday but they've had ample time to do that and have yet to lol.

But generally speaking? When I look at all other Tales men? Yuri is pointedly more "girly" overall, and they're aware enough of it to make jokes like "princess Yuri", and putting Yuri in a dress in a drama CD and having him play a female role in a play while having the whole audience being enamored by him (and Flynn finding him in the dress and Yuri hiding his face from Flynn and fleeing at the first opportunity lol). Like, they're ABSOLUTELY AWARE of it enough to make "he's girly looking" jokes.

Also like, this one's just a thing I think of, but isn't shopping a lot/loving to spend money/wanting to go on shopping sprees all at once... generally seen as more of a girl thing? Because... LOL. Yuri loves blowing money all at once because it feels good, and at least where I'm from, that's largely seen as a female quality. It's also very fun to have that as a quality for him, having grown up poor... so when he gets a bunch of money and has a ton piled up, he wants to spend it (insert Jareth wow they're brothers after all comment here).

There's even the fact that he's got like... feminine old-fashioned gender role qualities, like being really good with kids and knowing how to handle them, and being a really good cook. Like, idk, was it an accident that they made him look feminine and then gave him a bunch of feminine qualities, too? Idk, but they sure as hell 100% know he's easy to make look feminine (another example too, his eyelids/eyelashes on his model are... very pronounced, which is not usually done with men. Also, his eyelashes are very noticeable in his laughing skit portait, which was released in hella HD recently in the Fave Face voting. None of the guys/only the girls have those "feminine style" eyelashes).

I like to poke at his child and teen self as well, because he's extremely feminine as a teen imo (his official concept art even has him wearing a more, I'd say feminine-leaning, bracelet). I do have a joke though about his whooshy girly turn around when talking to Hanks in the manga as child femboy supreme. Born to be a femboy, not forced to be anything and became a femboy.

There's also the fact that in the novel in the childhood portion, Flynn realizes it's entirely possible that the reason he's growing his hair out to be long (implying it's not what is basically "boy length"), is because he's trying to emulate his mother. Basically implying he's trying to emulate a feminine appearance on purpose because he was told his mother had long hair. And like, idk man, but one of the game writers did write that novel. So to me it's just like... yet another example where it seems to be a lot of stuff that makes me believe it's not an accident.

But I do love that he's not completely feminine and he's got boyish qualities mixed into that. He's just very non-stereotype conforming as a character, both in personality/traits and in appearance. Like... there are times I can look at him and be like... lol you're such a boy.

They keep switching between Bromance and Romance for Kenshi and Johnny. Which one is it now???

I adore Johnny being protective of Kenshi, and Kenshi holding onto him while walking.

The way reptile switched from human to lizard, makes it look like he is not actually shape shifting, merely casting an Illusion to seem human.

Nitara is hot and all, love the design, but....who thought it was a great idea to have Megan Fox voice her? No shade but the voice acting is pretty awful.

Kenshi trying to run in with Sento but is pushed back in a comedical way by Ermac SENT ME. I felt so bad but I couldn't stop laughing.

Sento activating in this fight was pretty cool, I will not lie.

Okay crazy theory, but what if Kronika isn't Kronika, but Alt Shang Tsung in disguise???

Kuai being out for blood is really entertaining. That melting sword scene was so damn cool too.

Scorpion being affected and literally burned by heat somehow doesn't make sense to me. Especially with Subzero seemingly not being harmed by frost and ice. Also Havik recovered from that melt off really fcking fast. Bowing down to you, king.

Bi-Han literally showing up from behind the cold wind was such an amazing entrance. I was even jumpscared a little.

If the second timeline the ending to aftermath where Shang Tsung won?? If so, that is the coolest decision NRS has ever made so far.

I am very amazed with the character design improvement in this game. I thought MK11 was already damn pretty, but MK1 really put the icing on top. There are so many fine details in the environment and outfits, I am eating this up like desert.

I did another one that no one was necessarily asking for, but I still wanted to do, this is Vampire Shrimp Cookie

I’ll be honest, I’m not really sure if this is even a ship, or if anyone but me ships it (and maybe @bellatheinkdemon considering they made darklobster comics this morning? But that might have just been because I requested a fankid for this ship and they decided to do more afterwards), but I think it’d be neat. I know in canon they haven’t interacted, but their backstories seem similar and I would really like to see them interact at some point, and see how they’d work off each other. Okay, I don’t think that’s very solid of a reasoning, but I just thought shipping them would be kind of neat, and put them on my list. Then this morning I had a bit of a darklobster kick, so I made this one

So does anyone remember that one time when I went on a bender looking up shrimp and then posting about them? Well okay, I only made one post, but I did still do that. Anyways, so one I particularly liked was the vampire shrimp, and I was considering using one for a darklobster kid, since shrimp and lobster are related, plus they’re big (for shrimp) and rather bulky, and also they apparently give off the impression of being scary, when in reality they really aren’t, which seems to fit Dark Choco’s personality (also they aren’t vampiric, so I’m not sure why they’re called that). So I thought “good enough” and put it as a candidate, and to be honest I just wanted to make this into a Cookie, so yeah

Vampire shrimp:

So I’ll be honest, I definitely put more Lobster into her design than Dark Choco, though I’m not entirely sure how to fix that. I gave her a grayish color because I remembered some vampire shrimp having blue-grayish shells, but I think they were more blue than I remembered. Lobster’s tone probably could have worked fine, but I mean, it makes her look more like a mix. And I gave her black hair to give her some similarities to Dark Choco (as well as me thinking it’d work good with the grey). I also put in some reds like Lobster, though I think it helps with the whole “vampire” part of her name, as well as the fact that she’s supposed to have an at least somewhat crooked mouth that resembles fangs. Though again, vampire shrimp aren’t vampiric. I gave her normal hands instead of claws because vampire shrimp don’t have claws. Also I gave her a little shark plush because she’s supposed to be shy, and I thought her hiding herself behind a toy would sell that, and I made it a shark to match Lobster’s sea aesthetic. Though maybe I should have chosen something different, as it does still lean in to the “more emphasis on Lobster” thing

I’ll be honest, I just sort of made something up for her dress. That’s something I’ve noticed, if I make a character where their torso is largely obscured, I’ll have no clue what to do for the outfit. Ah well

Also I don’t know why I drew her as a child. One thing I wanted to portray is that vampire shrimp are bulky, but I can’t really do that with a young child. Maybe I can draw her again as an adult, because that’s definitely something I wanted to keep, she’s supposed to be large. But for now at this age, she’s very small, which I guess works with her shrimp thing. Also don’t know when I decided to make her a girl, I think I was originally going to make her either a boy or non binary. Ah well

So as for her character, there’s not too much, she’s pretty basic. She’s a very shy young girl, who often hides behind her parents (or in Dark Choco’s case, usually within his capes/cloaks). She’s rather timid and has a hard time opening up to people, but if you get her to open up, she’s a very friendly individual who likes to play with others

I’d also imagine Mocha Ray to be like an aunt to Vampire Shrimp, and someone she loves to play with

Growing up, I don’t imagine her to be a warrior, as she’s very non aggressive and would rather settle things peacefully. Not sure what she’d do though

(I may or may not have just taken her personality from what I read about how vampire shrimp behave, but shh. Also I felt like it fits)

Anyways yeah, not much to say on that end. I know at one point I said part of my issues is that I wasn’t able to flesh out these fankids’ personalities in time, but now I have all the time in the world and am able to come up with very little. Though then again, it could also be the lack of creative juices flowing while I’m at home

But regardless, I hope you like her!

Winx Club Character Essays: Musa

Quick disclaimer: this is basically me just rambling (so be warned.) While I will present already known canon information, I will also be sharing my own hcs. So pretty much how I see Musa based on canon. Please keep that in mind as you read through, as I'm sure many of your guys' views on Musa are different from mine. Another thing that I'd like to add is that this "essay" specifically discusses Musa in the earlier seasons of Winx, since the writers did change her personality up a lot in the later seasons. Anyways, with that out of the way, let's get into the actual "essay"

So, let's start off with what we already know about Musa, shall we?

Musa is the fairy of music, and was born on the planet Melody. Her birthday is May 30th, and she is 16 years old during the first season of Winx. She is the daughter of Matlin and Ho-Boe, and her on-and off boyfriend being Riven. She is an aspiring singer and musician. Among her friends, Musa scores the best grades in her schoolwork. She's a bit of a loner and is one of the most tomboyish among the other Winx. Musa is very emotionally vulnerable, and offsets this by appearing strong and resilient, often times putting up a strong front.

Now, let's look a bit more into her personality. At times Musa can be quite a snide, as seen with Stella and even Flora in the earlier seasons. She is also short tempered and moody. We see her get quite defensive over herself (as well as her friends.) She's not afraid to get in people's faces if it comes down to it. Musa is a good listener too though. For instance, in s2 when Aisha/Layla had just transferred to Alphea, and felt like she didn't fit in, Musa was right there for her and comforted her when she needed it most.

I want to go over Musa's appearance now. She has a light skin complexion (close to pale), dark blue hair, and dark blue eyes. Clothing wise, in s1 her main civilian outfit consists of a single strapped red tank top, a purple bicep bracelet (that usually appears on her right bicep but you'll sometimes see it on the left), sagged baggy blue jeans that expose her pink underwear slightly, and red sneakers with white soles. I personally, think that Musa likes to dress for herself and doesn't give a shit about what others think of the way she dresses. She dresses for herself, not for the approval of others. Her clothing is another way she expresses herself freely, besides music. Non canonically, I think that Musa also likes to wear a lot of alternative leaning clothes. She mixes components of mall goth, punk, and skater into a sort of streetwear look. She's not that into makeup, and when she does decide to wear some it'll usually just be basic black eyeliner.

For interests, we obviously know that she loves to sing and play instruments, her favorite being a concert flute. She also likes to dance and party. But, let's look into some of my personal interest hcs for her. She likes to skateboard and can do numerous tricks. She may not be as good as Layla might be, but she's definitely good. She loves to watch horror and romance movies. Psychological horror is her favorite but she'll watch almost anything horror. She isn't much into reading and prefers to avoid it (unless it's for studying purposes.) But, she does enjoy graphic novels and comics. She likes to go on late night walks, which help her clear her head and think clearly. When she's not able to go out at night for a walk (for whatever reason), she'll usually stay up until 3 AM playing videogames with Tecna. I have more interest/hobby hcs but I'll stop there.

Now let's talk relationships. We already know who Musa's father and mother are. Her mother, Matlin, died when Musa was a very young child. I've already talked about her relationship with Riven before and have shared a brief bit of my thoughts and views on that so I'm not going to delve into that here (but I'd love to make a separate blog post about it sometime!) When she first met Bloom, she didn't really like her, but not too long after, she started to be able to tolerate her, and then they became friends. In s2, she grew very close to Layla, and they quickly befriended each other. They're best friends (and I will forever be mad about the writers deciding to randomly cut off their friendship in the later seasons.. but I'm going to completely ignore that rn.) Musa is also close to Tecna, but not as much as she is to Layla. She doesn't have many friends outside of the Winx, but that doesn't bother her, she's very happy with the friend group she has.

I could write so much more about Musa, but I think that this post is already long enough as is. To anyone and everyone who actually read all way the way up to this point I literally love you sm omg 😭. Winx is something that I'm really passionate about and it's been one of my biggest hyperfixtations for as long as I can remember.

I plan to write more character essays on some of the other characters from Winx, not sure when, but I'll get to it eventually :).

Gabriel Agreste/Monarque and Nathalie Sancoeur/Paon Aimant Redesign

For Gabriel's redesign, I wanted to really play into the character that he slowly became by the end of season 5, a deranged man who wants nothing more than to take down Ladybug and Chat Noir while simultaneously keeping the character he was at the start, a man who wants to save his wife no matter what

The outfit itself is identical to the one he wears in canon, however the colors have been changed to represent a Death's-head hawkmoth, because of this his brooch is now yellow while camouflaged to better fit into his outfit

He also dyes his hair, something I found funny while also further showing how he's holding onto the past and trying to make himself appear younger

He's French, Italian, and Japanese

Hawk Moth's redesign, now known as Monarque throughout the entire series, is something I actually really enjoy

Blue represents royalty in France, and given Gabriel sees himself as right, as good, as a ruler, a monarch, his costume is reminiscent of a blue butterfly to show off the "I'm in the right" mentality that he has

He mask looks similar to that of canon, but I specifically made it more angular, sharper, because Gabriel doesn't just encourage people's negative emotions, he MAKES them (this is seen a couple times in canon like in Jubilation but this is more true in my rewrite)

Gabriel is a great manipulator, one that knows how to make his word the truth, so I further made sure that his costume was sharp, but also smooth in it's patterns

The front of his costume is inspired partially by his Monarch design in canon that had the stained glass look to it, and the tail coat is inspired by post-rings Monarch's tailcoat

Another thing that's very apparent is that he has an actual mask, whereas the canon outfits head either a full head covering or a mask + a skin tone change, this was just because most fans didn't like it too much (especially Monarch when season 5 first aired) so I took a design element from Hawk Moth I really liked (the akuma mask imprint) and made it more apparent (by literally making it his mask)

To also clarify: Monarque's (and subsequently any Butterfly/Peafowl user) mask when Akumatizing or Kamikotizing people looks like that because of 1. who he is and 2. his intentions behind using the powers, for example if he were good, the mask would probably look how it does during seasons 1-3, so if Nathalie were to use the Butterfly Miraculous, her's would look different (same goes for if he used the Peafowl)

When it came to Nathalie's redesign, I put myself under a couple of limitations so it's not my favorite, but I still love how she came out

The first thing is that she has a cane, if you read her backstory you'll know she has chronic exhaustion but due to that she's typically in a wheelchair, on good days she's able to walk around with a cane

Her outfit I wanted to read as business but comfortable as (despite how insane he is) Gabriel isn't going to force Nathalie to be uncomfortable while working, so she's permitted to wear less formal clothes though she still likes to dress up

She is a lesbian because fuck the idea she does that out of love for GABRIEL and not Emilie, because as much as I love Gabenath, Nathalie has and always was in love with Emilie which is why she wants to help Gabriel

For Mayura's redesign, now known as Paon Aimant (loving peacock in French), I wanted to get rid of all the blue, so I made her leggings and boots a green-blue shade, I also kept her skin tone the same

Her mask is the first to not be a domino mask because I thought Nathalie wouldn't WANT to have one, so instead she has a one that covers her lower face (keep in mind, the Miraculous magic protects her identity regardless so this wouldn't make it any easier to figure out who she is)

I also made her hair short and blonde because it makes her look a lot like Emilie, the person she's doing this for, and I found it extremely fitting

On top of that, she's also taller than Gabriel and Monarque, this is because she wants that sense of power, and despite not having the height advantage when Nathalie, she has it as Paon Aimant

Her mask is very fluid, not only because she isn't anywhere near as harsh and manipulative as Gabriel/Monarque but also to further prove she's not doing this because she wants, but because this is the path she's been giving and she's (pun intended) flowing with it

you’d been worried sick whilst waiting for your husband to return your chambers. to the point where you were borderline considering sending out your guards to look for the silver haired man.

your worries settled as the doors opened to make way for a particularly bruised up aemond, which had you out of your bed in seconds. “oh my heavens, what happened to you aemond?”

he ignored you, instead changing into the clothes laid out for him. you knew better than to push your husbands boundaries. but he could at least try to give you peace of mind.

“if i wanted to tell you i would’ve, no?”

that sure as hell made you quiet down, as you sat back down on your side of the bed. the silence irritated aemond, he didn’t mean to snap at you. you were the one person he actually cared for besides his family, which you were now.

you laid down quietly, staring off at the stars that shone through. aemond laid down next to you, trying to find the words that seemed right.

“will you read tonight?” a small smile came across your face, “of course, if you tell me why you’re bruised and cut.” aemond scoffed before straightening up, “i was only practicing, it was dark and i was distracted.”

Bi Yoosung is canon /j no but what else could I hc him as, with his big ass crush on Saeran 😭 and I believe it wasn't the only one - tho I think most of the times he'd be oblivious and confuse his boy crushes with simple admiration, because he likes girls after all! But boy. Sweetie. My dude. You're fruity and it shows.

With Byeol being nonbinary, Yoosung's a bit confused at first. He doesn't live under a rock, he heard about nonbinary genders, just hasn't really done any research about the topic. He has no problem with accepting them in any way regardless if he fully gets it or not. He just needs some explanations and learning to do so he could understand their identity better.

💚 Eunbyeol Kim (Byeol) ♡ she/they/he ♡ 20 yo ♡ nonbinary, pansexual

Byeol likes both feminine and masculine clothes and interests, but has always been praised only for presenting feminine ("You're such a pretty lady!", "you look like a little princess in this dress" "you look much prettier with some makeup on") and it felt wrong so she started to resent these and dress as androgynously as possible, rejecting everything that was considered feminine.

Dislikes how feminine their face and body is, always admired androgynous people, and wishes breasts were an accessory you can put on and off depending on the outfit. Related those feelings to just wishing to look good in both male and female cosplays, only much later realized there is a deeper reason for that.

Bought her first binder for cosplay purposes and oh boy the happiness it brought!!

Generally wearing masculine outfits always brought that little, unexplainable spark of excitement.

Once when gaming someone referred to her as "he" and it felt cool so she never corrected them. Now goes by mostly he/they online and she/they irl (but honestly is fine with any).

As a teenager started to be more active online, and finding lgbt communities, she discovered the existence of nonbinary genders and started to put the pieces if her life together. Rotated between different identities (demigirl, demiboy, genderfluid, agender, etc.) but at the end decided to just stick to nonbinary as it felt the most comfortable.

Cut their hair at the end of high school, out of impulse and spite for her family pushing the idea that a woman must have long hair. It felt so freeing, even tho she ended up looking like a disaster lol

Their family is conservative and not very accepting to anything outside of the "norm" so they're not out to anyone except one of her older sisters who does everything to support them, even if she didn't fully understand at first.

While doesn't mind she/her pronouns, other gendered words (like miss, sister, girlfriend etc.) makes her uncomfortable so prefers to use gender-neutral alternatives when possible.

Definitely prefer to be referred using their shortened name - Byeol - since it's gender neutral, than the feminine full name - Eunbyeol.

Now - after learning that the way they're presenting nor interests do not invalidate their identity - embraces their feminine features (still thanks gods for the invention of a binder but doesn't always feel the need to wear), actually likes wearing makeup and dresses sometimes, loves to play with fashion and mix both feminine and masculine pieces of clothing, and is obsessed with accessories.

Regarding the romantic/sexual attraction, he has 0 experience, but never put much importance to it, "if I fall in love then I fall in love, the only thing that matters if we get along well".

Since they're going to the same college as Yoosung, they saw him in the halls, a few days into 1st semester, and immediately got a big ass crush on him. Felt way too shy to approach him though, and everytime they ran into each other, only managed to mumble something incomprehensible (and that was very new and out of character for her, and also very embarassing). Later, slowly they started bonding over the same interests, though Yoosung was very oblivious of Byeol's feelings towards him. Until many months later when she confessed to him - or in his route, when he realized that the party coordinator he fell in love with is actually his college and gaming friend. 💚

It’s not too much at all, my lovely! Thank you so much for sending in this request, and I am sorry that it’s taken so long to get back to you. I hope you’ll enjoy the headcanons 😊

3) What’s your character’s favourite thing to shop for?

Haru is definitely someone who will enjoy occasional shopping days. There’s just something really exciting about them. You get to go out, sometimes alone but most often with friends, you get to see all kinds of new and interesting products, you get to have fun and mess around – trying samples for yummy new foods, playing pretend by dressing up in the silliest or most expensive clothes (even though you have no plans to buy them), getting free makeovers at certain beauty stores or getting free samples from them. And, of course, there’s always the dopamine hit she really does get when she buys something new she can take home. So overall, shopping? Pretty high up on her list of things that are amazing. She can even enjoy shopping for a wide variety of things. Shopping for food is best, in her opinion, during Haru self-care days, when she goes to her favourite bakery and peers inside it’s display cases, finding just the perfect cake or sweet that she wants. She loves shopping for hobby stuff. She definitely has her preferred vendors and stores for things like fabrics (which she must buy in person – she needs to be able to see the colours and feel the texture herself before she spends her money on it), needles, crafting supplies, and various cosplay accoutrements. She does enjoy clothes shopping, as long as she’s not doing that alone. Basically, shopping in most forms makes Haru a very happy person.

5) How does your character feel about trying on clothes?

Conflicted is the best way I can think of to describe her feeling towards trying on clothes. On one hand, she loves being fully dressed up in a new outfit, with good mirrors to see herself, hopefully from all views. She loves getting to put together an outfit to show off to whomever she’s clothes shopping with or trying on some piece of clothing that probably costs more than her parent’s monthly house payment, just because she wanted to be enveloped in something so ungodly beautiful, delicate, and pleasant to the skin. She wants the experience that really comes with being dressed in the new thing. Getting there though? She’s got some hang-ups with that. For one thing, she kind of hates having to strip down to her underwear to try on her chosen clothing items. The store’s are typically always a little colder than she’d prefer, so she catches a chill that she finds hard to shake. She freaks herself out by remembering all the creepy stories she’s heard about people setting up cameras in fitting rooms and she has to look all around just to double-check that there’s nothing that looks like a camera in the fitting room she’s using. And then, of course, there’s always that moment of worry that something just isn’t going to fit her. What if she’s been having too many Haru appreciation days? What if she’s gained a whole different clothing size now and she’s just never really realized it? She forgets all about those worries the second she’s dressed, but they’re definitely huge in her head while she’s getting changed.

6) Whom would your character take with them when shopping for clothes?

As mentioned above, clothes shopping is not something that Haru likes to do alone. It’s just not as fun to shop for clothes by herself. It’s pretty boring when there’s no one there to help her put together the perfect outfit, to wait for her to model the new pieces of clothing or accessories or even those full outfits for them, with appropriate oohing and aahing afterwards. It makes it just feel less fun when there’s not someone else there to really both hype her up and have fun with her while on the shopping expedition. I do think that, for this particular type of shopping, she really does prefer the company of more feminine people. She’s always gone clothes shopping with her mother, and it’s still a pretty solid, happy bonding activity between mother and daughter. However, she also likes to go with female friends, such as Kyoko, Chrome, I-Pin, or Bianchi. I think the only male she really does want on any of her clothes shopping trips might be Tsuna and even that is pushing it just a little bit.
