You wish Jean to notice you. It’s fine, he does like Mikasa a lot, but you like him as much as he does. You’re helping him to get with Mikasa because you know how much he likes her. You don’t want to be that bad friend who just wants him to yourself. You want to be happy and free, want him to choose because it’s his life and not yours.

On the other side of the sofa, Marco knows you like Jean. He obviously knows. Jean seems to be the only one that doesn’t get it. Marco doesn’t know why he is so blind. Maybe because he has that fixation on Mikasa, he’s loosing the amazing person that is looking at him with such a beautiful smile. 

Marco has noticed you, of course he did. It’s not difficult to feel a little bit attracted to you. How you're always smiling and helping everyone. Your beautiful face and the precious body you have. All those things always make Marco blush when you talk to him.

Jean is now convinced to speak to Mikasa, so he takes out his phone and asks her if she wants to drink something the next afternoon.

“Jean! That’s too repenting!” Marco says, but, Jean smiles. His phone has sounded and a notification entered. 

“She said yes.” He says quietly. Marco looks at you surprised, and you look at Jean’s fingers, writing an answer for her. You smile at him when he looks at you, but you’re a little bit sad. Marco keeps his gaze on you, searching any reaction. But you smile at him again.

“Wow, it’s your opportunity, Jean!” you say. He nods happily.

The date went well the next day. Jean sent you a whole audio message telling you how well it went. Eventually, those two started dating. You and Marco got closer, since the three of you usually made plans, but now Jean was spending a lot of time with Mikasa, so you two madr plans together.

"I hope Jean and Mikasa last, like he really loved her." Marco says. You play with the straw of your milkshake between your fingers, and the boy in front of you looks around. "Are you sad yet?". You look at him, his cheeks full of freckles and his sweet eyes looking at you. He smiles. "You'll find another one, you're a great person." he says. Maybe he has said too much? He looks at you but you're still playing with the straw.

"Yes. Well, if he didn't notice it, and we were literally inseparable, i don't know who is going to notice me..." you say quietly. Marco is looking at your fingers moving around the straw, and you look at him. You always felt an strange attraction to Marco. He is the opposite to Jean: his sweet and soft smile, his cheeks full of freckles, his messy hairstyle and his generous eyes against Jean's flirty smile, his plump lips and his sharp features. They were totally different, though the two of them were nice to you. Jean is more flirty and teasing; Marco is more sweet and warm-hearted.

"Y/N?" he asks. You have been looking at him and thinking on your own things you didn't notice when he talked again.

"Sorry, Marco." he laugh quietly.

"It's fine. Should we go?" he asks. You nod. The night is cold but quiet. You two walk in silence. Jean send you a text.

"Are you still drinking something? Am i late?" he asks. You answer that he is. "Sorry, I promise to go to the next one!" he says. You send him an emoji and keep walking.

"Jean?" he asks. You nod. The conversation dies there, and you keep walking silently. "I don't know how he didn't notice you." he says. You look at him. "You always looked at him with such an interest. Always there to help him and to have his back. He should give you an opportunity. You're amazing." You look at Marco. He gives you a soft smile.

"I think I'm maybe not that amazing." you say. What does Mikasa have than you don't have?

"You are. Don't put less value on yourself just because he has choosen her." he says. His shoulder finds yours jokingly.

But you don't think he's joking. He is serious, his words are serious. That's what he thinks about you.

Does Marco like you? Were you involved in a love triangle all this time, but all the relations were one-sided?

Since he showed you what he thinks about you, a little love flame started to grow between you two. A slow burn love that started to gain weight on all the afternoons you spend with him, waiting for a Jean that never comes, and always apologizes. "Mikasa told me to accompany her" "Mikasa is helping Eren, so I should go and help too." You're not angry with him, he's enjoying his new relationship. And so are you two, sitting a little bit closer every day and touching each other more naturally. You don't know how you two started dating, none of you asked the other. He knew he wanted to be with you and you knew you wanted to be with him. A first kiss on your main door closed the pact about your relationship.

You are now sitting on the grass, your head on Marco's lap. His hands caressing your hair under a tree shadow. It was a hot day, and you two decided to spend it on a date. A real date, not you two waiting for Jean. One only you knew.

"Ah, it's really hot today." he says. His hands braid your hair softly, and you hum in response. "Should we go and drink something? We could go to the cafeteria that has that cookies milkshake you like..." he says. You smile and, opening your eyes to look at him, find his smile. He tilts his head down and gives you a little kiss. "Let's go, then."

You're not playing with the straw this time. You have something that grabs your hand. A big, soft and warm hand cages yours and a cute boy smiles at you while you talk. Marco's personality was made for you, as yours was made for him. That's something he likes to remind you, how you two are like puzzle pieces.

"Oh, hi!" you hear a voice you know really well behind you. Jean is walking, with Mikasa on his side. She smiles at you and you smile at her back. But the repentine voice scared you a bit. Jean's hazel eyes looks at your hands, yours inside Marco's. He raises an eyebrow a little bit, just a little. "Am I interrupting?" he asks. Marco shakes his head, smiling at him as if nothing happens. Jean nods. "Yeah. So, you two...?" he asks. He doesn't end the phrase but you know what he wants to say.

"Well, we're dating." Marco answers simply. He has changed from the sweet boy you saw earlier, he's more sharp. Jean nods.

"Good for you two. Well, we reserved the next table for our date." Jean says, his hand searching Mikasa's, holding her. "So, well. We'll go and enjoy the date."

"So we do." Marco smiles at him. What's this game going on between this two?

"Oh, you're on a date?" Jean says. His hazel eyes are now fixed on Marco's ones. Mikasa looks at you and you look at her. She's beautiful, her long black hair moving softly every time she moves her head to look at her boyfriend. Marco caresses your hand with his thumb, maybe knowing all the thoughts you're having. You shake your head a bit. Marco doesn't deserve that. Hou should forget about Jean. He was your first crush and he doesn't have interest in you. Also, you're now dating a wonderful boy. You can't do this to Marco.

"We are. That's what couples do. I thought maybe y/n would like to have their favorite milkshake after a long day out." he says. Jean looks now at your glass, half empty. All the cookies are mixed with the cream. He nods.

"Fine. We'll have also some milkshakes. The ones made here are the best of the city." he says. Now he talks to Mikasa. "Strawberry milkshake, sweetie?"

She nods shyly. Marco looks at him.

"Well, I hope you enjoy your date as much as we do." he says, venenous words coming out of his mouth. Jean smiles.

"We'll do. We'll do. Marco, y/n." he says, before leaving with Mikasa.

Even when his hands are on Mikasa's waist, guiding her towards the table, he only thinks about you.

Maybe it's the old tale about a boy that doesn't know what he has until he loses it.

You have to say, winter is not your favorite season.

Of course, having a few whole weeks of break to rest after months of school is nice - the holidays give you the chance to take a break from your hectic schedule, hang out with your friends without having to stress about schoolwork.  As a bonus, you get to wear lovely winter boots that make your long legs look great, and you love wearing large fluffy jackets you can drown in, but...

“Fück,” you groan, “it’s so cold!”

This winter is especially horrible.  As if the cold isn’t bad enough, it’s that time of the month for you, which makes everything a hundred times worse. Not only are you a walking marshmallow, you’re also cranky as hell, with your damn hormones all over the place.  Your cramps are especially bad today, but you’re willing to shove your pain aside in favor for hanging out with your friend.  Months of quarantine have left you itching to leave your house.  You’ve been a couch potato for too long.

You shiver, wrapping your arms around yourself.  You regret that immediately.  Your hands are cold! “Hug me,” you demand, “I’m cold.”

Your friend tucks themselves further into their numerous amounts of jackets.  “I literally can’t move.” A rather hairless poodle trots by, shivering and whining miserably.  “Ooh, wouldn’t wanna be that guy.”

You crack a smile, amusement warming your cheeks.  “Pfft.”

Both of you squeal in delight and surprise when a gust of warm wind blasts you out of nowhere.  “It’s warm in there!” You shout triumphantly, heedless of the strange looks a few passerby's are throwing in your direction.  You grab your friend by the arm and they yelp, dragged along by your large strides.  “We’re heading in there, and we’re finding the warmest place to sit.”

Both of you speed-walk to the nearest café.  “Did you even need to ask?”

You stumble into the warmth.  The café isn’t particularly big, but it’s warm and the décor is cute and that’s more than enough to make you happy for the time being.

Your friend whistles as they look around.  “So this is the infamous Bring The Sweet, huh?” They glance at the violet fairy lights strung low on the walls.  “Probably looks better at night.”

You raise an eyebrow.  “Why infamous?”

They raises an eyebrow right back, but it’s barely a match against your thick, especially-expressive ones.  “Haven’t you heard?” They lower their voice, looking around like they’ve got a secret.  “Apparently, everyone here is insanely good looking.” You settle in a booth next to the patisserie, and they inhale deeply.  “Food will always be better than guys, though.”

They shoot you a pointed glance, and you shrug.  “I have a weak heart, okay? I catch feels easily.”

One of the pâtissiers has clearly been eavesdropping, because he muffles a laugh, only to be roughly elbowed by his coworker, who hisses at him to stop being nosy and deal with this annoying Karen with me, goddammit.

The clacking of heavy boots alerts you to an oncoming waiter.  You turn around - and scream.  Inwardly.

“Hi there, ladies, what can I get you?” 

Good lord, this waiter is cute.

Your heart thumps wildly in your chest.  His long sleeves cover his muscular arms, and tattoos peek over his knuckles.  It doesn’t match his bunny cheeks and absolutely adorable smile.  

You’re too busy trying to memorize his name tag - Jeon Jeongguk - to realize you’re staring and being very obvious about it.  Seriously, if all the staff in the cafe have the same visual standards...

A throat-clearing and a not-so-subtle kick to the shin jolts you back into reality.  “Hot chocolate!”

Your friend disguises their wheeze of laughter as a sneeze.

“I mean, I’d like a hot chocolate, please!”

Jeon Jeongguk smiles at your blunder, lopsided and amused.  Your heart’s beating so hard you think you might faint.  How could you embarrass yourself like this, in front of a boy as cute as him? 

“One hot chocolate and one latte, coming right up!”

Is it just you, or does he wink before walking off?

Your friend groans, sarcastic but playful.  “Could you be more obvious?”

Pink dusts your cheeks, a dreamy look spreading across your face.  “He’s just so cute...”

Now you’re 100% sure the pâtissier is invested in your conversation.  Apparently, his name is Kim Seokjin.  “Cute?” He waves a hand dramatically.  “That boy is a menace to society! Besides,” he says with an obvious, exaggerated wink, “why would you choose him when I am clearly superior in every aspect?”

“Jin, work!” The tall manager and the other pâtissier bellow at the same time.  Your friend’s shoulders shake as they splutter in silent laughter.

Seokjin, or Jin, as he’s aptly nick-named, turns to your friend.  “Just between you and me, you agree with me, right? Clearly everybody else isn’t willing to admit that I am the one and only Worldwide Handsome.”

Your friend bats their eyelashes innocently, but you know better than to fall for their innocuous façade.  “If I say yes, will you give me free cookies? Those pastries look pretty nice.”

Jin turns away, sulking.  “The youth these days are so disrespectful,” he complains, “Yoongi, don’t you agree?”

Yoongi sighs a breath of relief, muttering a quiet “thank God” under his breath.

“Hah? What did you say?” You can’t help but giggle at Jin’s blatant indignance.  Even your friend is stifling a laugh, barely managing to thank the waiter bringing them their latte.

“At this point, I’m just glad you didn’t offer them a free cookie just to spite me.”

Jin pouts, ignoring the customer outside who discretely takes a photo.  You duck under the camera range, and your friend leans away.  “Aigoo, do you think you mean so little to me? We’ve been doing this together for weeks now!”

Yoongi just gives him a death glare.  “I’m starting to wish you’d given them the cookie now.”

A light tap on your shoulder with a pen makes you jump.  “Excuse me, Miss? Your drink is here.”

You nearly forget how to speak in front of Jeongguk and his dazzling smile.  “Th- Thank you!”

“No problem!” Your drink is probably sweet, but his smile is even sweeter.  “You should be careful, though, it’s hot too.”

You cock your head.  “Too?”

Seokjin smiles arrogantly.  “Of course, he means me, Worldwide Handsome, the best looking man you’ll ever see-”

Jeongguk looks the other man dead in the eye, puts a hand over your shoulder, and makes a sizzling noise.

You squeak.  Your friend shoots you a thumbs up from across the table.  He thinks you’re hot!

A strangled scream makes its way out of Jin’s throat.  It sounds like the distant relative of a boiling kettle.  “You- You little brat!”

“I’m really sorry about him.” Jeongguk’s gentle voice and innocent words don’t match the shït-eating grin on his face, but you find it kind of hot, actually.  “He’s just salty that he thinks he’s so good looking, but in reality, he's probably not gonna get laid before he turns thirty.”

That cracks you up.  You can’t stop laughing, even though it’s at the handsome pâtissier’s expense.  Yoongi can’t seem to stop his unabashed cackling either.  Your friend waves at Jeongguk, a matching devious smirk on their face.  “Excuse me, but can you pass me a pen? And a piece of paper?”

Jeongguk looks confused, but complies.  Your friend scribbles something down, trying hard not to burst out laughing.  Jin, still pouting, shouts when he sees what your friend has written.  He even helps them shield the paper from you!

Your friend passes the paper to Jeongguk, and when he reads the message he turns beet red from his ears to his neck.  “Have fun!”

Jin discretely steals a cookie from the shelf and passes it to your friend, and they exchange fist-bumps while Yoongi isn’t looking.  “Take care of our Jeonggukkie,” he tells you seriously, “he may be annoying but he’s still my big baby.” He cracks his knuckles.  “Lucky for you, I’m a gentleman, but I’m still amazing at trash-talk.”

“Oh,” the other waiter says, peeking over Jeongguk’s shoulder, “are you going on a da~”

Jeongguk manages to keep his fellow waiter at arms reach, even when they struggle against him.  “A- Are you available tomorrow?” He stammers out.  “Your friend said you want to watch the new Wonder Woman movie, and I think she’s pretty cool too... Wanna go together?”

Deep inside, you clutch at your chest and scream.  So cute! “O- Of course!” You haven’t stuttered this hard over a guy in a long while.  “Can I have your number?”

“Jeongguk,” the manager shouts, waving his hands, “and Jimin, the tables aren’t going to wait themselves.” There’s a fond smile on his face.

“Sorry, Joon!” Jeongguk turns back to you.  “I’ve already got your number... I’ll call you later?” 

He’s still blushing, but so are you.  “I’ll be waiting.”

Fück, you think seconds later, too desperate! 

Jeongguk doesn’t seem to notice, offering you one last bunny-toothed smile before bouncing off, a hop in his step.

“Seriously, though,” Jin grumbles, “take care of him.”

“I will.”

Modern AU: Kyōjurō x Barista F!Reader (SFW Scenario):

(Y/n) didn’t know what she had done to deserve such a treat, but she knew that it must have been grand for her to receive something so glorious so early in the morning. To add to her luck, she hadn’t even been working for long at her parents’ shop, and she’d already been handed such a gem of a man to admire.

She immediately dropped the rag she had been using to wipe the countertop with, then quickly rinsed her hands and wiped them on her side towel. After that, she raced over to the counter— with a bright smile on her face.

More because of the cute guy standing on the other side of the counter, rather than because of company rules.

“Hi! Good morning. What can I get for you?” She asked chirpily, as she eyed the young man’s handsome features; all under the guise of pleasantry.

He looked so handsome with his neatly styled hair; a total bishōnen. And those red tips did more for his looks, rather than retract from them.

She wanted to run her fingers through his hair. Badly.

However, it was his eyes that struck her the most. They were a bright gold, and a stark red; which gave him such an effortlessly piercing gaze. All of him screamed ‘effortlessly handsome’, and that piqued (Y/n)’s interest greatly.

”Hi,” Kyōjurō answered brightly, even though his heart felt like it was going to leap out of his chest and offer itself to the pretty lady in front of him. “I’ll have a large long black, please.”

“Alright then. Would you like anything else with that? A cookie, maybe?” (Y/n) tried to upsell, but not for the purpose of making profit, but more for the chance to have a longer conversation with the handsome customer.

After all, it wasn’t everyday that such a fine man walked into her parents’ small coffee shop in Asakusa.

“Ah, I’d love to... but maybe next time. I’ve already had breakfast, you see,” Kyōjurō answered with a sheepish smile, as he lifted a hand up to his face and scratched idly at his cheek.

He hadn’t had breakfast yet, but he knew that he couldn’t possibly stomach to eat anything; not when his stomach was filled with so many butterflies, all because of the cute barista.

The answer dampened (Y/n)’s mood the tiniest bit, but she didn’t let it show on her face. Her only silver lining was that he had said ��next time’, which entailed that he was going to return.

And that made her more excited than anything.

“Okay then. Next time,” The young woman answered in a much chirpier tone than she intended; and that had Kyōjurō grinning widely. Which sent a flurry of heat to crawl up (Y/n)’s neck and settle on her cheeks. “T-that’ll be 400 yen.”

She held her hand out to receive the money, and Kyōjurō returned in kind by doling out the cash; only, he made it a point to let the tips of his fingers linger against her soft palm.

And that had her gaping like a fish out of water, before she haphazardly thanked him and gave him his receipt. He didn’t even have the chance to look at her flustered face, because she immediately turned to the espresso machine behind her and set out to make his order.

With shaky hands, (Y/n) put some coffee grounds into the portafilter in her left hand, before tamping it down with more force than necessary. So, to remedy her mistake, she re-did the whole process; only to curse when she kept tamping down too hard on the coffee grounds.

And, to make matters worse, she heard the handsome man chuckle behind her. She could even feel his gaze on her, which unsettled her even more.

(Y/n) had always prided herself in being borderline shameless, but to have had such a man tease her like that fried more braincells than she could count. Hell, she was afraid that his touch had left her with just two braincells that kept rubbing together, in order to form somewhat coherent actions.

Despite her own— extremely loud— inner turmoil, she set out to making him the best damn long black she had ever made for anyone. She even eyed the tails of the ristretto she had pulled; making sure that they were the perfect color and width, as they dripped into the paper cup that she had already put some hot water in.

In her earlier haste though, she had just realized that she hadn’t gotten his name. And, while she carefully put the lid on the cup, she thought of a way to ask him for it— in the least weird way possible. But she drew up zero answers, so she was forced to sulkily trudge towards the handsome stranger.

All with an involuntary smile on her face, because seeing him smile at her brought the reaction out of her.

“I think this one’s for you, err...” She trailed off awkwardly, which Kyōjurō chuckled at.

He then took the cup she offered to him— making sure to let his touch linger upon hers once more. “Kyōjurō. Rengoku Kyōjurō. And you?”

“(L/n) (Y/n). It’s really nice to meet you.” The young woman practically breathed out through a small grin, all while her cheeks flushed even more at Kyōjurō’s attention on her.

“The pleasure was all mine, (Y/n). Thanks for the coffee.”

And with that, he turned away from her; if only to save himself from acting like a total creep and already ask her out on a date when they’d just met.

But he kept coming back to that same small coffee shop. Sometimes it had lots of people, which bummed him out, as he couldn’t find the time to chat with her about the most simple of things; and other times— the ones which he loved the most— where there was only him and a few early morning stragglers there.

Those moments were the ones he treasured the most, as he would always stand by the counter to drink his usual long black coffee; all while talking to the recent highlight of his days.

However, no matter how much he loved those slow days, he was thankful for the crowd that came in with him that day.

He had already placed his order with one of the part-timers, under a different name of course. As giving his identity away so early on would ruin his plans.

(Y/n) was extremely busy behind the bar— what with all the orders of coffee coming at her. It didn’t help that she still hadn’t seen the head of blond hair that she had been looking for all morning.

Kyōjurō’s absence dampened her mood, which frazzled her mind so much, to the point where she just wanted to sit down in a corner and take a long breather.

When she picked up the next order though, she snorted to herself when she saw the writing that her parents’ part-time employee scribbled along the side of it.

Some people were so shameless, but she couldn’t exactly refuse to say the words out loud, as the owner wouldn’t know that their cup of coffee was already done and ready to be picked up.

So, she set out to make the long black as quickly as possible; just wanting it to be out of the way, so she could get to the building line of orders along the board.

When the lid was fastened to the lip of the cup, she set it down on the counter and cried out, “A long black coffee for ‘Would you like to go on a date?’”

A few seconds passed, but still no one answered. So she cried out once more, “‘Would you like to go on a date?’”

She was about to repeat the call once more, when she saw the familiar man she had been looking for all morning. He was walking towards her with that same warm smile on his handsome face.

“Yes, I’d like to go on a date,” He answered with a wink, which had (Y/n)’s entire face turning red. “6 pm, tonight?”

Kyle ECB Story Translation

I hope everyone is safe and doing alright!

Hello~ I’m back! I haven’t abandoned my Tumblr blog. I have been away finishing papers, doing online exams and busy opting out of my university exchange program because of the pandemic. Afterwards I indulged myself in binge watching/reading Kimetsu no Yaiba and baking a whole bunch of different sweets. (Souffle pancakes, sakura cookies, cream puffs, milk buns, green tea sponge cake and all that good stuff) I also celebrated my 21st birthday on the 4th! (Before our favorite spicy hatter)

Here’s that ECB Kyle story from the Secret Message collection event (Ikerev TW) that I promised a LONG time ago. It’s the same event as the “Blossoming Romance” collection event that just ended I think. I’m pretty sure I have Jonah’s too so I can do that one too if anyone want me to.

在一個吹拂著春天氣息 , 微風和緩又溫暖的下 

Under the gentle spring breeze, in the midst of the warmth of spring

我在醫務室工作的時候 , 看到擺在窗臺的一盆 花綻放了 。 

While working in the infirmary I noticed a potted plant placed by the window.

( 我還以為醫務室裡種的都是香草和藥草之類 的呢 . . . . ) 

(And here I thought all the plants in the infirmary would be medicinal herbs)

Alice 「 凱爾 , 這是什麼花 ? 」 

Alice: Kyle, what’s this flower?

凱爾 「 是九重葛 , 終於開花了呀 。 」 

Kyle: It’s a bougainvillea. So it has finally bloomed huh?

Alice 「 好可愛的花呀 ! 顏色好鮮艶 . .

Alice: What a cute flower! The colour is so vibrant.

凱爾 「 你喜歡嗎 ? 」 

Kyle: Do you like it?

Alice 「 嗯 ! 但是這個是要用來入藥的嗎 ? 」 

Alice: Yeah! But is this going to be used for medicine?

凱爾 「 是呀 , 不過只用葉子 。 」 

Kyle: Yes, but only the leaves.

( 這樣呀 , 原來用不到花呀 。 ) 

(So that’s it. The flower won’t be used)

這鮮豔的花朵給簡樸的醫務室帶來了一絲明豔 的色彩 。 

The bright flowers gave the plain office some colour.

( 看來在醫務室擺些鮮花也挺不錯的呢 。 ) 

(It seems that keeping some flowers in infirmary is quite nice)

( 看到的人們也會有種治癒心靈的感覺 . . . 真 希望除了九重葛外 , 也能多裝飾一些其它花朵 呢 。 ) 

(Seeing the flowers may help lighten people up, I do hope that more flowers aside from the bougainvillea can be brought in.

~ The second day

我在醫務室裡裝飾了幾個插著人造花的小花瓶 

I decorated the infirmary with vases filled with artificial flowers.

凱爾 「 這是什麼 ? 」 

Kyle: What’s this?

Alice 「 昨天那盆九重葛不是開花了嗎 ? 我覺得在醫 務室裡擺些花很不錯 。 」 

Alice: Didn’t the bougainvillea bloom yesterday? I thought that it would be nice to place some flowers in the infirmary.

凱爾 「 原來如此 , 但為什麼要擺人造花 ? 」 

Kyle: Oh so that’s it. Why artificial flowers?

Alice 「 我怕鮮花的花香會對醫務室的工作有影響 。 」 

Alice: I was concerned the smell of flowers might negatively affect the work environment of the infirmary.

Alice 「 身體不舒服的時候 , 不能去聞太刺鼻的香味 吧 ? 」 

Alice: It probably wouldn’t be too good to smell something pungent while you’re sick right?

凱爾 「 妳 . . . 考慮得很周到嘛 。 」 

Kyle: Wow, you’ve thought a lot about this. (A/N meaning she is through and considerate)

凱爾一邊微笑著一邊用手輕輕摸了摸我的頭 。 

Kyle chuckled lightly and patted my head.

( 阿阿 , 被他稱讚了 。 ) 

(Yay, he praised me) (A/N Alice is such a cutie pie) 

他寬大的手掌帶來的觸感讓我感到十分高興 , 臉上不禁露出了笑容 。 

The feeling of his big hand made me exceedingly happy, a big smile appeared on my face. (A/N 十分高興 literal 10 minute happy, but meant as very happy)

凱爾 「 那個啊 , 今天晚上有空嗎 ? 」 

Kyle: So. Are you free tonight?

Alice 「 有空呀 , 是想約我去喝一杯嗎 ? 」 

Alice: Yes, I’m free. Did you want to invite me out for drinks?

凱爾 「 啊 , 不是的 . . . 有空的話 , 就到我房間來吧 。 」

Kyle: Um it’s not that, if you have free time then stop by my room then.

Alice 「 . . . 好的 。 」 

Alice: ... Sure.

( 凱爾居然會主動邀請我 , 真難得 。 ) 

(Kyle took the initiative and invited me over. How rare)

雖然不知道邀請的理由是什麼 . . . . 

Though I don’t have a clue as to why he’s inviting me over...

我一邊為這個約會暗自悸動 , 一邊開始了當天 的工作 . . . 

I secretly excitedly looked forward to this meeting as I started on the days work.

( . . . 明明是對我發出了邀請 . . . ) 

(... Even though he was the one who invited me...)

一起在房間裡隨意喝了幾杯後 , 凱爾就直接在 床上睡著了 。 

After nonchalantly finishing a few drinks in his room together, Kyle collapsed onto his bed. (A/N ahaha same tho... I’m in the bad tolerance club too)

( 今天也很忙 , 看來是他真的很累了吧 . . . . ) 

(It was quite busy today, I guess he must be really tired...)

我也覺得有點睏 , 就鑽到凱爾身旁躺了下來 。 

I feel quite tired, I’ll just tuck myself in with Kyle and take a rest too. (A/N she said she’ll tunnel into where his body is. She wants to be the little spoon. A woman of good taste she is...)

( 凱爾 , 晚安 。 ) 

(Goodnight Kyle)

相互依偎傳遞而來的體溫非常舒適 , 我很快就 進入了夢鄉 . . . 

Because the warmth of his body snuggled against me felt very comfortable I quickly dozed off...

接著 , 在小憩片刻之後 . . . 

After the short rest...

隱約聽到了什麼聲音 , 我抬起沉重的眼簾 。 

After hearing a faint noise, I lifted my heavy eyelids.

( 凱爾 . . . . ? 他醒了嗎 ? ) 

(Kyle... did he wake up?)

我昏昏沉沉地思考著這些 , 並將頭轉向了他 

I drowsily tried to make sense of everything while turning to look at him.

凱爾 「 . . . 呢 ! 」 

Kyle: ...Guh!

Alice 「 凱 、 凱爾 . . . . ! ? 」 

Alice: K-Kyle?!

凱爾 「 . . . 搞什麼啊 , 明明就差一點了 。 」 

Kyle: ... What is this, just when I was almost... (A/N He’s asking what she is doing as if she’s messing around)

Alice 「 差一點是怎麼回事 . . . . ? 」 

Alice: What do you mean almost?

我看到凱爾的手上正握著盛開的九重葛 。 

I saw clenched in Kyle hand a fully bloomed bougainvillea.

凱爾 「 算了 , 先不要動喔 ? 」 

Kyle: Ah don’t think about it, don’t move kay?

Alice 「 嗯 , 好的 。 」 

Alice: Ah ok.

凱爾把手放到床頭板上 , 然後傾身探了過來 , 床褥在壓力下發出吱呀聲響 。 

Kyle planted his arm on the headboard, then lightly leaned over. The bed creaked under the weight. (A/N KYAAA BED KABEDON SOMEONE HELP ME!!! *fans self obnoxiously*)

( 唔 . . . ! ) 

( Ohhh my...!)

骨節分明的手指輕輕觸碰著頭髮 , 近在咫尺的 距離使我心跳加速 。 

His fingers gently touched my hair, the closeness caused my heart rate to increase. (A/N the descriptor added for his fingers is something like sharp/bony)

凱爾 「 . . . 真的很適合 。 」 

Kyle: It really suits you a lot.

凱爾用像是梳理般的動作撫摸我的髮絲 , 露出 無比柔和的眼神 。 

Kyle stroked my hair with comb-like motions while showing an extremely warm expression. (A/N soft, warm and/or gentle look)

Alice 「 欽 . . . . ? 」 

Alice: ....? (A/N it says “qin” but idk what that sound effect is supposed to mean)

我用手輕輕觸碰頭的一側 , 手指便碰到了花瓣 

I lightly ran my hand over the side of my head and my fingers brushed over flower petals.

( 這是 . . . . 九重葛 ? ) 

(This is... the bougainvillea?)

凱爾 「 我看你好像很喜歡這種花 , 就想著如果早上 起來看到這個變成了自己的頭飾應該會很高興 。 」 

Kyle: I saw that you liked the flower a lot so I figured you might like it if you were to wake up to find that it became your hair ornament.

Alice 「 原來是這樣啊 . . . 凱爾 , 謝謝你 ! 」 

Alice: So it was was like that. Thank you Kyle!

凱爾 「 . . . 一笑起來就更般配了 , 真的好可愛啊 。 

Kyle: It suits you even more when you’re smiling. You’re so cute. (A/N dang son he’s such a smooth operator)

Alice 「 . . . . 唔 。 」 

Alice: .... Oh.

( 凱爾有時說話真的很坦白呢 . . . ) 

(Kyle can be so direct when he speaks sometimes) (A/N unfiltered/frank/honest)

But the cool way of speaking always seems to move me. (A/N strike at her heart)

每當這種時候 , 我都會覺得自己的全身心都被 他所俘虏了 。 

Every time this kind of situation happens, I feel as if my whole body and heart has been captured by him.

Alice 「 難道你 . . . 就是為了這件事 , 才邀請我到房 間來的 ? 」 

Alice: Could it be... Because of this matter... you invited me to your room?

凱爾 「 是呀 , 妳不是說花很漂亮啊什麼的 , 看起來 很高興嗎 ? 」 

Kyle: Yeah, didn’t you say the flower was pretty? You looked real happy.

( 原來他一直都有在注意我 。 ) 

(So he has really been paying close attention to me)

Alice 「 真高興 .… 」 

Alice: I’m so happy

凱爾 「 . . . . 是嗎 。 」 

Kyle: Is that so

凱爾低聲說著 , 用雙手緊緊地抱住了我 。 

Kyle said in a low voice as he embraced me tightly with both arms. (A/N low voice as in volume, he’s whispering)

Alice 「 凱 、 凱爾 . . . ? 」 

Alice: K-kyle?

凱爾 「 都怪妳總是擺出一副讓人忍不住抱緊妳的表 情 。 」 

Kyle: It’s your fault for always making an expression that make people can’t help but to want to hug you tightly.

( . . . 呃 , 被他這麼一說 . . . ) 

(... Ahh when he says it like that...)

他的低語讓我的臉頰發燙 。 

His voice made my cheeks hot. (A/N low whisper)

凱爾「雖然我在妳面前總是很難表現出帥氣的一面.....]

Kyle: Though it’s hard for me to show a cool face when I’m in front of you. (A/N show his cool and handsome side)

凱爾「但這樣的時光讓我感到非常幸福，我真的很喜歡。」

Kyle: But these kinds of times make me feel really fortunate, I really like it. (A/N 幸福 again! Meaning happiness, fulfillment and all that kind of stuff) 

凱爾「所以無論是今天還是明天還是後天，我都要一直跟妳在一起。」

Kyle: And so whether it be today or tomorrow or the day after that, I want to continue staying by your side.

Alice「…我也是。」

Alice: Me too

抱緊我的手稍稍放緩了一些我的視線與凱爾充滿憐愛的目光交織在一起。

He guided my hands down a little bit. My eyes met with Kyle’s loving gaze.

Alice「凱爾…就保持現在這樣就好了。」

Alice: Kyle... let’s stay like this.

我把手繞到凱爾的脖子上，親吻了他。

I wrapped my arms around Kyle’s neck and gave him a kiss

Alice 「.....唔。」

Alice: ...Oh

回應親吻的甜蜜觸感，讓我發出陣陣喘息。

In response to the sweet feeling of the kiss, I breathed out softly. (A/N aftermath of the sweet atmosphere, soft pants. Something to that effect)

My heart keeps racing at Kyle’s cool words.

(不需要特地表現得帥氣。）

親吻之後，凱爾帶著微笑將額頭與我相貼。

After the kiss, with a smile Kyle pressed his forehead onto mine.

凱爾「妳又擺出一副讓我想抱緊妳的表情了。」

Kyle: You’re making an expression that makes me want to hug you again.

Alice「...可能是吧。」

Alice: Maybe?

凱爾「快過來吧。」

Kyle: Hurry up and come here

Alice「嗯。」

Alice: Uhn (Yes)

我飛撲進凱爾的懷中。

I flew into his embrace (A/N she flew into him. Same tho Alice...)

即使是略有涼意的春夜，但只要兩人互相依偎就能感到無比溫暖…

Even though it was actually a pretty cool spring night but when the two of us were embracing it felt extremely warm.

我感受著這份幸福，揚起了笑容～

I felt this feeling of happiness and smiled

well, i’ve been fortunate enough to visit a lot of beautiful places in the world. i love california with whole heart and nothing will ever change that. i also adore england, northern ireland, and ireland — hence my geographical research focus as a little historian in training! not only do i love to study those places but i’m always ridiculously happy when i’m there.

49.) Favorite job you’ve had?

i worked as a researcher in a national archive for a bit. i basically got to dig through boxes and boxes of documents for months and then write whatever i felt like based on what i found with very little supervision. ideal work environment for me!

you can’t see it bc it’s on my head but when I was in second grade my brother threw a palm-sized, plastic hit clips boombox (if you remember those you’re a real 90s kid jfc) and i had to get a couple of stitches. but like searching for an open spot with someone

you found a few that seemed nice but were all wayyyyyyy too far from your job like you would be losing money paying so much in transportation

finally you stumbled across the most cursed roommate flyer ever

but it was in a super convenient location !! so you read it anyways

it was written in GREEN and PURPLE comic sans and there were multiple pictures of chickens and cheesy memes randomly placed around the text in the middle

which by the way was a list of 7 bullet points that said this:

2:i am broke

3:i have an extra room waiting for /YOU/

4:i am in a band and will write a song about you if that’s what it takes

5:i am unreasonably good at untangling headphones and i will untangle things for you

and then at the bottom was an octopus who’s 8 legs had his contact information on it and they were cut so you could just pull off a slip

he tells jae that’s he’s the luckiest man on earth when he thinks you’re not listening

you ARE though and you stop what you’re doing to give him a big ol hug and tell him he’s an angel

sungjin disapproves of how you’ve been living and asks if you’ve been eating enough and then turns on jae with a finger like U BETTER FEED HER

brian is so intimidatingly beautiful you can’t look him in the eye until you’re all eating ramen and you watch him choke to near death and then immediately go make himself another cup

you’ll fall over onto your back and jae will pretend to be surprised but then wriggle up your body until he’s half on top of you and half on the side with his head resting just under your chin

his hair is FLUFFY and it TICKLES you so you have to move it so you can sleep !

the age old dilemma of wanting someone but then being afraid to lose them because of it

he had been so lonely in his apartment before, living off of instant ramen simply because he didn’t want to cook anything and holing up in his room writing about loneliness and being lost

then you showed up with your bright eyes and took every weird quirk of his in stride and nagged him about eating better and washing his clothes “properly”

wonpil trudges out and gives you a sneaky kiss on the cheek

jae has to hold you back when you lunge after him

after you’ve calmed down he slowly slides his arm from being wrapped around your middle to just barely brushing your back

he smiles and then tugs you forward and tilts his head down to plant his lips on yours

he’s soft and tentative and pulls away after just a few seconds to press kisses to your cheeks and the tip of your nose

“are you kidding me that’s worth EVERYTHING ???”

and then you pounce on him and bury your face into the dip of his shoulder because you can’t reach his neck

he stumbles at first but then smiles down at your flushed face absolutely squished against his bony chest

he thinks it’s cute though and cranes his neck down to lay his cheek across the top of your head and loop his arms around you

dating jae is even better than you thought it would be !!!

wonpil wasn’t lying when he said jae was writing a song for you and when he plays it for you and sings so sweetly you cry your fckin eyes out

and he’s laughing and pulling you in to situate you on his lap with his guitar long forgotten leaning against the couch and asking you when you became such a softie

you look up at him with tears in your eyelashes and love in your eyes and he positively melts

he kisses your forehead and ruffles your hair and calls you kid like he didn’t just profess his undying love for you through song like the cliche he is

the two of you spend the whole night wrapped up in each other, expressing all the affection you’d missed out on in the last few weeks

You decided to not change your current party because you thought they were already good enough.

- When Lumine found out she was a video game character in a so called game called ‘Genshin Impact’ she was literally shocked because she never knew she was just a character in a video game. She found out about it when you did some stupid shi with her in the game and she was confused on why she was being controlled and walked around like an insane idiot because you were controlling her but when she found out that as long as the game was still open she can see everything you do and even see your personal chats with your friends but who can blame her? Genshin impact was still open so she could see everything that you do.

- When Barbara found out she was a video game character, she was shocked that everything and everyone was just a video game, But when she saw that the player really wanted to have her but doesn’t want to waste they’re primogems she kinda feels a bit special because you made more edits of her and the edits would be so good and cool! She starts thinking it’s not THAT bad to be a video game character aha.

requested ⭐ sorry my writing is taking so long!! i’m working super hard when i feel inspired to write, so hopefully i’ll have some more requests done before christmas!! ⭐ masterlist

it wasnt really a good day for renjun :(((

so he took out a bunch of movies and his favorite snacks, trying to make the day happier and more relaxing for himself

but,, it got really boring after like 5 minutes

ofc the love of his life saved the day,,, by actually sending him a text that probably was just “whats up bub im coming over with candy and you cant stop me”

he’s !!!!!! ecstatic !! already making a nice comfy blanket nest with the snacks n drinks all around it, ready to cuddle the day away with his favorite person ever

when you knock on the door it takes him three seconds to throw it open and get you inside to the birb nest

and he has a good movie playing too

-Kind of a really big thing for you, since you've always been such a private and independent person but Isaac thinks it's the only thing that makes sense. Even if he is all cute and manly and Scott and Boyd help get all of your boxes and your new furniture into the two story tow home. Lydia and Styles show up later with take out and in return for them being "the shittiest friends" and not helping. -Lydia had gone apartment hunting with the two of you, obviously and she had fallen in love with this place. "If our lease was up, I swear I would have fought you for this place" -Isaac is more then down with you taking the reigns in decorating(as long as he gets to have his speakers and game system on display in the living room) -The floors are hard wood and you naturally run cold so your feet freeze 24/7 until you fill the space with rugs. Furry and plush. Faux fur obvi. -lots of neutral colors that accent the leather arms/frame of your couches. Modern but homey. -Isaac likes it. A lot. It makes the lay out warm with out making it stuffy. Even though you guys don't bring up his claustrophobia, you both know it affects the shit out of him. -big ol' wall length entertainment center because your both nerds. No seriously though-between both of your combined dvd and video game collections it's almost ridiculous. -but that's one of you guys favorite past times. Watching movies/shows together -Netflix sessions that last days. No joke. Like when you binge watched all twelve seasons of Greys Anatomy. -He likes to lay on top of your soft body and let you hold him. He love that your bigger in these moments because you're so fucking comfortable, your large breasts are his favorite pillows and he buries his head in them. -he's the biggest man child you've ever met. Honestly make him food and play with his hair and he is your loyal servant forever. -seriously tho did I mention you guys are giant nerds? "Gimme' a kiss" -HOLIDAYS -Halloween you guys carve jack o lanterns and dress up and greet trick'or'treaters at the door and watch movies like Halloweentown and Hocus Pokus. Isaacs not a huge fan of horror because he says it's cheesy but he loves old Disney movies. -You guys end up going to your parents for Thanksgiving as usual but you make a kick ass pumpkin cheese cake from scratch in your guys kitchen beforehand. -Christmas is special. It's not your first together but it's your first in your shared place. You go to the lot and pick out a real tree and deck it completely out in silvers and golds. You kind of go all out with decorating in general and your apartment looks something like the Christmas section of Target threw up in it. Isaac loves it. You guys even have a fireplace for you to hang up stockings on. -Did you guys know Isaac can not only bake, but bake very fucking well? -Christmas cookies all December long. All kinds. You both gain a lot of Holiday weight. -when he spills a little bit of the dough, coating his big hands, you lick it off of his long fingers sucking on each digit just a moment to long. Your bright y/e/c looking up at him mischievously. -he burns that batch, not bothering to take the cookies out of the oven as he fucks you on the kitchen table. "you're such a fucking naughty girl" he hisses into your shoulder. "Mmm, I know you like me better naughty than nice" -You guys totally throw an ugly Christmas sweater party and everyone comes. i’ve nvr paid much attention to plants cause as a kid i was quite good at science except the plants part.But there was one point when i actually searched up different flowers and the meaning of it cause i was interested in making clay necklaces based off the flowers as a gift to my friends lmao. call me mainstream but i think i like roses the best?Like all the different coloured ones symbolises different things and i personally find myself very interesting in a way that if my personality was written as a book it would be those huge ass dictionaries in libraries. I like trees a lot mainly because its really hot in mlysia therefore trees are there to be my shade. also!! trees that bear fruits (mango,rambutan’,papaya) except for durian trees HAHA

eyes? i have a lot of artistic friends and they draw really well so they taught me how to draw an eye, i mostly write hangul tho for practice rather than doodle

i lovEee tea. Iced tea, hot tea,herbal tea, i really love it all :DD but my fav iced tea would be iced peach tea and as for hot tea i’ve been drinking this rose with french vanilla tea (fAnCY HAHA) cause my previous fav which was peppermint and honey finished *cries*. the way i make it is pretty universal, just dump the teabag in the cup then pour hot water over it lmao im lazy. I like coffee like lattes!! ice lattes are nice and i really like instant packet coffee (am i the only one HAHA)

Favorite candle scent? Vanilla tbh ikea used to sell the cookie scented ones which were my fav but they stopped selling it so oh well

meagan got for me the same perfume that cheol used apparently and its called peach blossom from w.dressroom!! i really really like it not cause of cheol but the fact that i really love the smell of peaches though i’ve never smelled them before artificial scents are good enough to convince me HAHA

mmm i think i take care of myself by cooking whatever i want to eat. im not the type of person who can starve for the whole day unless im sick. i like feeding myself well so i cook a lot of good food for myself but sadly now my kitchen has been undergoing reno for the past month so i havent gotten a chance to cook lately. also by spoiling myself with whatever i would like to buy AHAHA and if i ever feel sad i would tell myself that i can cry about it but only for a short while cause yknow i gotta move on in life. im a pretty optimistic person and try to look on the bright side or try to make it up lmao i cant stand seeing myself being so sad after whatever shits i’ve been through though its nothing serious
